Me and two friends decided to get lunch in the area on short notice one nice October Sunday morning. And you know what that means: all highly rated restaurants in the area were fully booked 🤣After walking around for 10-15 minutes without finding a place, I decided to call The Mary Lane anyway despite no availability on the app. Luckily they could fit us in for about an hour and a half! Yay! 😄Moral of the story above: sometimes an old fashioned phone call can go further 😄Anyway, the food was fabulous 😀 all three of us loved all of the dishes we ordered!It was just a wonderful experience!

A delicious and BEAUTIFUL meal. I appreciated how accommodating and kind the server was about my allergies — this place is fine dining for anyone with a food disability or dietary restrictions. Our group had the grilled carrots which seemed to be a star, mushroom tartare which was interesting, burrata, halibut, trout, lasagne and ravioli. All delicious — and a cozy west village environment.

We shared two mains and decided we were still hungry so also ordered the salad with grilled chicken. Portions were on the smaller side. A lot of people around us ordered the burger which looked delicious! Cute brunch spot with nice outdoor seating as well. Pretty loud inside but and friendly staff and clean bathrooms. They also have a private space downstairs.

An amazing resteraunt, possibly favorite in the city. Every dish was immaculate. I ate in the outdoor dining pavilion and had a great experience. I highly recommend the Onion soup and the roasted carrots. Cleaned my plate!

Phenomenal ambience - warm, clean, and classy. Went here for a group birthday dinner, and, because of our group size, we had a prix fixe menu. The food was fresh and flavorful - very enjoyable. The service was good, although felt slightly rushed at times. Taking a star off because the drink was not what I hoped - very watery and not sure there was even alcohol in it...? I would order just a glass of wine next time and wouldnt go here for drinks, but food and atmosphere are highlights.

Amazing! One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Flavors match perfectly and top notch service! Tried fig salad, roasted squash and brussels sprouts. I had sweet potato and kale lasagna which was delicious. Deserts are also great.Thanks everyone for providing such a wonderful experience. Definitely will come back!

I’m picky with fine dining but everything here was beautifully done and delicious. The duck breast was so tender, and the vegetarian ‘lasagna’ was surprisingly creamy and filling. Desserts were inventive and not overly sweet. Cocktails were great too, and they have a long wine list.

It was beautiful! Since I’ve been a big fan of little owl I had high expectation on the mary lane.We had a lunch Prix Fixe menu which was really nice and the price was unbelievably affordable for what they served. I’m definately coming back to try other dishes on the menu.

Beautiful place with outdoor sitting. Service was excellent and the manager super nice with us and very cute. I have to say I had the best halibut fist in my life. Very very delicious. Definitely coming back to try te entire menu. But I recommend obviously the halibut, the oysters 🦪, the fries 🍟 and their white truffle risotto. 💯

Nice American restaurant that uniquely does veggies super well (both appetizers and mains). The fish and beef were both awesome. Fantastic spot for a birthday dinner - they were very accommodating for a larger group. The space was also really nice.

Everything was great. The service is attentive and as a diner you can tell all of them work as a team in providing a smooth flow from serving to clearing. The room is airy and inviting with fresh cut flowers on every table that glows under the table light.All the sauces for the main was incredibly flavourful and elevates the dishes well. The chicken cacciatore ravioli was a little under cook but we clean the plate with our focaccia thats how tasty the sauce was. There was a little wait for our main dishes after starters but no biggie. We left happily after without the need for dessert.

What a delicious lunch!!! They have an amazing lunch special $19/pp which changes based on the season- this is truly farm to table using the best ingredients at that moment. Started with the gazpacho- I don’t usually like gazpacho- but this… this was wonderful.(it was so good I forgot to take a picture) Im coming back solely for this. Then I had the summer risotto which was very light, full of flavor and not the kind of risotto you have to take a nap after. *chefs kiss. Gaby was our amazing server- ask her for recommendations because she steered me in the right direction and I couldn’t be happier.

Walk in through the cold barricading door and through the luxurious blue heavy fabric curtains and you will be greeted by a member of The Mary Lane staff. For us- it was Jo and she was lovely. Her level of hospitality was unparalleled - the sort of person that lives with a smile, joy and warmth. If Jo is having a bad day - good chance you won’t know it.3 of us ordered the mushroom tacos and none of us were disappointed. Balanced seasoning with a delicious verde salsa, the mushrooms were tender but not soggy, the Brussel sprouts were shaved and not crispy and the black beans were appropriately seasoned so as to not overpower the other ingredients.The avo toast was beautiful to look at with the chef using thinly sliced seasonal radishes to add flair to the imported avocados. Well done chef! Fantastic food. Chef Andrew Sutins menu is one of the best Ive ever had. Every dish was flavorful, well presented, and was a satisfying portion size.For a table of five we had 5 appetizers, 5 entrees, and 3 desserts. Everyone was pleasantly full afterwards. I tried all five appetizers, two entrees, and a dessert and each bite was delicious.

Wow ,what an awesome spot . I came here for my Birthday dinner . First off its in a perfect location on a quiet corner in the West Village. Beautiful area. We started off with cocktails, the Humdinger- a pink hibiscus and tequila tall drink and a Lemon Chill O with whiskey. Super refreshing. For apps we got the Burrata with strawberry and pistachio and I have to say - this was absolutely delicious. It was a highlight of the night ( and Im someone who doesnt usually order burrata) and may be one of the best appetizers Ive had anywhere in NYC. Definitely get that and order Focaccia on the side to soak up the sauce underneath the burrata because it doesnt come with bread . Grilled carrots app was delicious too. Perfect start. For mains we got Steelhead Trout , which had a green spring tasting sauce. And the steak with fries which my friend really enjoyed. For dessert get the Olive Oil Cake with berries, that was moist and lovely. They lit a candle on my plate for my Birthday. Staff are really nice without being obtrusive .Everything was fantastic. This place is well run and highly recommended. PS the Ageless cocktail was also complex and tasty with mezcal and the High Line Park is a short walk away if you want to go up after dinner.

We had a reservation for Valentines day 2024.Everything was exceptional, from the service to the food. 10/10. Every dish that was served is very well thought. Each components of the dish compliments each other making it such a memorable experience on my palate. This is a charming American spot in the West Village that serves unique dishes in a welcoming space. Service is friendly and accommodating. There is a cute bar that would be a nice place just to sit with a cocktail. But the food really is delicious. Try the mushroom tartar. The pork loin was tender and flavorful. Everything was gorgeously presented. Prices are what youd expect but not crazy at all and portions are generous. The one miss for me was the desert. I had the strawberry shortcake. Was mostly a pile of whipped cream with a few strawberries. Not worth the calories.

As a recent recommendation from a friend, we were pleasantly delighted at the quality of food, unique menu selections and high level of customer service. This place does not disappoint!! Came here on a recommendation from a friend and it did not disappoint. Cocktails were cool & creative (the Ageless), food was delicious (Autumn Baby Gem Salad, Braised Chicken Cacciatore Ravioli, Grilled Dry Aged Strip Loin, & spiced French fries), the atmosphere was romantic and cozy, and yes, it was a bit pricy, but worth the cost. Definitely will be paying the recommendation forward.

I was excited to go to this restaurant and try their food. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked into a very nice restaurant. I was sat and the manager served me and he was great. They have a great brunch, but I ordered off the regular menu. I started with the shrimp tacos, and they were good. I then had the halibut, and that was very tasty. For my drinks, I had the espresso martini and red wine, and both were great. I really had a good experience!

We had dinner here. The food we had here was amazing and tasted really good! Service was excellent. My cocktail was based on « the garden », it was really tasty and impressive! Then we have some focaccia, I got the Scallops, and finally the Chocolate and Mint crémeux. Everything was tasty and well prepared, I really liked it. However, there are starred restaurants where we can eat a whole menu for less than the price that I paid for this main dish, and even if is tasted good, it was far from a starred restaurant… I paid $45 for three scallops and a soup of vegetables. It was tasty but really simple, and very poor regarding quantity, this is so expensive for what I had in my plate…The focaccia and the dessert where however more adequate with their price.I think it’s a pity because I really liked it here but I’m not sure I’m ready to pay that much again for such a meal.

The food was excellent (having been for brunch and dinner I definitely prefer the range of the dinner menu). We had outdoor seating which I found a little chilly (tent flap kept opening so constant steam or cold air despite efforts to tighten it) but the tent area is well decorated and provides good ambiance. The one downside was they forgot my daughter’s dinner entree so by the time she ate we had all finished. I know mistakes happen but that was a big one.

Food was delicious. my only complaint is that $27 for an appetizer of jonah crab “salad”… which is essentially three 1” quenelles of a spread, three slivers of endive, two little slivers of avocado and three halves of cherry tomato over a lemon sauce… which was small but delicious - can we at least get some bread to put it on? the trout salad had some potato chips… but only five measly chips… if you are going to the trouble of making great food, it’s not much more effort to go the last mile and make it complete. spreads should have a vehicle to eat it, aside from your fork.

Might have found my new favorite restaurant in West Village! This place has INCREDIBLE food and the coziest atmosphere. We’ve been twice now and the service is great too. Perfect for date nights and they have a back room you can reserve for big groups. You have to get the hamachi crudo and the sweet potato lasagna. Both are amazing. I also loved the chicken ravioli and the steak. Honestly can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

Delicious food and amazing atmosphere. We were looking for a moderately classy but not too snobby restaurant with delicious food that was quieter and we were successful in finding it here. I got an amazing piece of Nova Scotia halibut on a bed of delicious creamy cabbage - im not a huge fan of cabbage but it was prepared perfectly in this dish and paired amazingly with the halibut especially when combined with the picked veggies on top. The combination of flavours was spectacular!

Sweet place for brunch. I found the food tasty. I had fruit with yogurt and the almond cake. The portions were not huge, so if youre hungry take that into consideration. But the mimosas come out in a darling coupe glass and are quite tasty. The atmosphere is cozy. Our server was friendly and helpful. Its worth taking a trip down Mary Lane.

I’ve been wanting to try this place since I’m a fan of their sister restaurant, Market Table. The vibe is a bit more upscale than Market Table, a larger airier room. I’d say this is also a bit pricier. Lovely West Village location, pleasant room and attentive service, friendly from the moment you walk in. We had cocktails, which were fine but nothing to write home about and we shared two appetizers among the three of us, the ravioli and the scallop Crudo. The outer shell of the ravioli was slightly undercooked, I enjoyed it more than my other guests. We also had the small focaccia which was delicious, $4.I had the halibut at $39, one guest had the tile fish at $38 and my husband had the grilled mushrooms at $28. All the entrées were well cooked and flavorful.One observation for the team, they are a little “aggressive“ about confirming your reservation and the language about releasing your table if you don’t confirm by 4 PM is a bit much. The restaurant was half empty on a Thursday evening at 8 PM so I don’t think that level of attention is necessary.

Another great place to have rare unique and delicious fusion cuisine. I had the duck with pouch eggs that it was really good and different from any other type of dish Ive had! The service was great and I didnt try drinks for lent, so I just took a sip of my husbands drink that was a fig negroni, that tasted so good. Its a signature or featured drink here, so it should be easy to ask for it.I highly recommend this place specially if youre looking for vegetarian or more lightly food. I think they might have also some veggan dishes that might be really delicious.

From the moment you walk in the door the experience is spectacular. The front of house team is on point run by a fun yet focused GM who clearly hires great people. No sooner had we sat down and were ready to toast that another server saw we were in need and swooped in to accommodate us. You get the true sense that this REALLY as a team.Of course the food is what important here and truly nothing disappoints. The mushroom tartar is off the hook! This week a Duck confit was added to the menu. Enough said. The two stand out fish mains (steelhead and Halibut) are both spectacular. For those who are less adventurous there is a hearty steak. While fries are a side dish they are well worth it (even if you don’t have a steak) as they are cooked in ambrosia. We have yet to eat the whole menu but there are several vegetarian items I am looking forward to trying as well.The room is open and airy, some might say boisterous but it only ads to the energy. I can’t wait till lunch is served as looking out those amazing windows onto the west village will be lovely for sure.As fans of The Clam (sister restaurant) we knew we were in for a treat. It’s such a lovely place and apparently everyone is hearing (even celebrities…no I’m not saying who, but a real name :-)Better act fast and get a table, as the word is out and I suspect Chef Andrew has a lot in store for us.

Among the most impressive restaurants in the west village in a more quiet area, yet still central, with sourcing by the chef Andrew from the local farms at the Abingdon Square and Union Square greenmarkets from Norwich Meadows and other farms popular with many of the top restaurants in NYC. The grain bowl for lunch is particularly good which includes shallots, avocado, asparagus, quinoa and a specially prepared cherry tomatoes, and the seafood often features the more local NY Hudson Valley trout, and Gulf shrimp.

We stumbled upon the Mary Lane while wandering around the West Village for a date night spot. The large windows and beautiful decor within attracted our eye and were so happy we stopped by. Despite a packed house on V-day, the food was still delicious and served without delay. Must say the service was amazing. The and the service from all the staff was spot on. Big kudos to the Mary Lane for pulling off this operation on such a challenging day. We started the the crab risotto, and then the charred mushroom entree - which was absolutely delicious - and the trout. The chocolate goat cheese tart was a surprise hit. Who knew those two ingredients worked so well together.

I loved every single thing about my dinner. I could have happily eaten everything on the menu. We had a 730p show and am sad we had to hurry dinner along. I cannot wait to return. Please get the ravioli. Normally you cannot tell what is in any ravioli. It was delicious here, quite plump, and house made. I could tell every ingredient. The baby gem salad is of dreams which is odd to say about a green salad I know.

I’d have both again (with an order of fries ;). Also the yummy olive cake. This should never be removed from the menu. We ordered 2 appetizers and the focaccia to start the meal and everything was wonderful - the crab dish was delicious, but the trumpet mushroom tartare was so unusual and delicious. Among the 4 of us, 2 got the pork dish, eggplant, and scallops. All were wonderfully prepared and the portions were just right. While all the desserts looked tempting, we shared a slice of the olive oil almond cake and it was great. Cocktails were delicious. Our only regret was that we had to leave as we closed the place down. Will definitely be back and also anxious to try their sister restaurants.

From the beginning my planning with Jess exceeded my expectations. Jess and Chef were super flexible, creative and their recommendations based on my vision were perfection. Brice, the Assistant GM gave me my initial tour and then worked my actual event. He was lovely to work with, adjusted to last minute changes and kept my wine flowing, many thanks Brice!
