One of my partner and I’s, favorite spots in NYC! It’s incredible! It’s delicious and fresh! The pomegranate on everything was such a refreshing and nice touch! The service was good.Of course the vegan options were plentiful! The hummus here was so good my partner and I ordered another!

  • Review 2 (2024-12-07 - Rating: 5)

The food is very good here. The service is excellent. I came here for my birthday and they made it a special one! I cant wait to go back.

  • Review 3 (2024-09-01 - Rating: 5)

Love this place!!! We had the malfouf and the shrimp dish. Paired with the Lebanese wine, the flavors danced for us. We had to rush to a party, but we will be back for dessert another day! The ambiance was so nice for the start to a fun night out.

  • Review 4 (2024-05-30 - Rating: 5)

A Palestinian restaurant near Chelsea Market. The food is outstanding, we ended up ordering a few appetizers and entrèes to share. Highly recommend the Octopus over Hummus and the Knaffe. They have a decent wine list but carry some rare Palestinian and Lebanese wines made with ancient grape varieties. The service is fast and attentive and they have outside seating available. We had a separate kids table with combined cheques which was handled well. Atmosphere is typical of a clean NYC restaurant with some cushioned seating to showcase cultural background. Overall a great place to dine at reasonable prices.

  • Review 5 (2024-12-21 - Rating: 5)

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Quality meals every time. Mujaddars croquettes were crispy and flavorful. Musakhan chicken was cooked to perfection, juicy and smothered in traditional herbs and spices. Kanafeh is so crispy and gooey and delicious with the rosewater syrup is divine. Fills my belly and my soul. Thank you!

  • Review 6 (2024-07-20 - Rating: 4)

The food is very good. Good flavors, well prepared, and fresh. We tried the labneh balls and kofteh. The portion sizes were on the smaller side though which was unfortunate.

  • Review 7 (2024-05-15 - Rating: 4)

Went for dinner and luckily got a table without making a reservation. The place is dark, they place small lamps to provide some light. The octopus hummus was good, i liked the octopus more than the hummus. I ordered the roasted eggplant with pomegranate and it was just okay. The baba ghanoush was my least favorite but try it for yourself. My boyfriend loved the makloubah and his cousin liked the kofta. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back but if I were to be invited by a friend, I wouldn’t mind. Service was nice and bathrooms are kept clean.

  • Review 8 (2023-04-13 - Rating: 5)

Came here early—5:30pm on a Wednesday, it wasn’t crowded but there were several people there. It’s a cool atmosphere, chill good music and unique decor. The food was PHENOMENAL. The hummus was so fresh, the Kofta so juicy and flavorful, and the sumac chicken was deliciously tangy with warming spices, perfectly crispy on the outside and moist inside. The dessert Knafeh was unlike anything I’ve ever had—a cheese crusted in crumbs with all my favorite flavors (rose, pomegranate, pistachio) combined. Service was kind and attentive. My Indian husband loves middle eastern food and was also very pleased, which is hard to do. Keep in mind it is a pretty pricey dinner, but a tasty time.

  • Review 9 (2023-11-24 - Rating: 5)

The food here is authentic Palestinian flavors🇵🇸 and super delicious! The maqloobeh is my favorite, followed by the fish and the musakhan. Make sure you accompany your meal with a nice Palestinian or Lebanese wine that you will likely have difficulty finding in the U.S. The kunafe is a MUST for dessert! 🤌🏽

  • Review 10 (2022-07-17 - Rating: 5)

My favorite Sunday brunch in Chelsea. Spacious place with a lot of sunlight. Home-y vibes in every corner. I tried the family brunch with a group of friends trying Palestinian food for the first time and we loved it!!! My favorites are the octopus with hummus, the baked Ijjeh, and halloumi cheese with watermelon.

  • Review 11 (2023-10-06 - Rating: 4)

We hosted a company dinner here. The food was delicious and had plenty of vegetarian options! The service was solid. The biggest problem for a work dinner was that the music indoors is loud, so it’s not easy to talk beyond the person you’re sitting next to. We should’ve opted to sit outside instead. Great for a date night, just consider volume for work dinners.

  • Review 12 (2023-07-24 - Rating: 4)

It’s a great spot for Middle Eastern, specifically Palestinian, food. The food overall was good however the lamb was a bit too salty! The ambience was great.

  • Review 13 (2020-01-16 - Rating: 5)

An amazing restaurent in Manhattan, very delicious authentic mainly Palestinian and Lebanese dishes. The hummus was very yummy, the mujadareh fried balls was very innovative and using freekeh instead of rice was beyond my expectations. Meanwhile for the main dishes the kuftah with Sesame paste and chicken muskhan were very tasty. Highly recommended for those foodies looking for unique experience and authentic food.

  • Review 14 (2019-09-17 - Rating: 5)

Really good Mediterranean fusion, with a Palestinian bent. A bit pricey, but the quality is definitely worth it. Creative menu items with authentic influence. Particularly loved the Muhammara and herby pita. The lamb kofta was amazing. It came with lots of veggies, super-rich tahini, and a delicious aromatic rice. Tried the sage tea, now its a new favorite. I hope to see an equally interesting cocktail menu once the liquor license comes through!

  • Review 15 (2022-08-13 - Rating: 5)

Beautiful cozy Place the very chill ambience, the soda music in the background compliments the vibe. The food is flavorful exciting and delicious. Wonderful host and amazing waitstaff. This place is perfect for date night but also to hang with friends and catch up.

  • Review 16 (2021-08-08 - Rating: 5)

PHENOMENAL Palestinian food. We chose all vegetarian options and everything was very tasty and fresh. Loved and will definitely be back.

  • Review 17 (2024-07-23 - Rating: 5)

Amazing food. My husband approves and he is Palestinian!

  • Review 18 (2024-06-07 - Rating: 4)

Good service, ok food (except for my cheap-tasting white wine), but very overpriced. It’s the Manhattan effect, I guess. And it’s not really Palestinian, but “inspired by”.

  • Review 19 (2023-12-16 - Rating: 5)

Such a special place!! The food is phenomenal and the service is fantastic. Their musakhan is one of the best things I’ve eaten in a long time

  • Review 20 (2021-04-11 - Rating: 5)

This restaurant is absolutely delicious, and a bit unique. So many authentic dishes to try. The lintel soup, kofta, and musakhan were wonderful. The West Bank, “Star of Bethlehem” red went perfect with our meals. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Will definitely be back to try some more amazing food.

  • Review 21 (2019-09-26 - Rating: 5)

As a Palestinian, Im delighted to see authentic Palestinian cuisine on the culinary map in a global city like NYC. I visited Qanoon yesterday and the food was delicious: great midpoint between a family-style meal Id have at home and what would cater to the mainstream urban palate. Nice use of spices and a reasonable proportion of food, especially if youre splitting dishes with others. Theres also a nice selection of desserts. The knafeh was delicious (Im particular about the amount of syrup that is often poured onto this dessert, so it was nice that there was a self-serving cup of syrup included). An interesting texture and approach to this dessert. The ambiance was pretty consistent to other small/ethnic restaurants in Chelsea. It was not excessively loud, and the volume of the Arabic music being played was just right. There were several Fayrouz songs that played, so the experience is authentically Arab with a modern touch. The service was great and the workers were friendly. Give it a try.

  • Review 22 (2024-06-02 - Rating: 5)

Great food. We had the octopus with hummus, and sumac chicken. Octopus was tender. Hummus was okay. Sumac chicken was really flavorful. Kunafa for dessert. I’ve had a lot of kunafa and heads up, it’s more delicate than typical, but I actually enjoyed it.

  • Review 23 (2023-10-13 - Rating: 5)

Excellent Palestinian food in NYC. We got the labneh, makloubeh and croquette. Cant wait to go back.

  • Review 24 (2024-05-17 - Rating: 5)

This is a gem: great food, excellent cocktails, a cozy atmosphere and attentive service. Reservations suggested: we went on a Thursday night at 6:30 and they could squeeze us in only if we promised to finish in 90 minutes. The eggplant was roasted with pomegranate seeds and other crunchy ingredients; the chicken fell off its little bones.

  • Review 25 (2023-07-10 - Rating: 4)

It’s a cozy place with a good and fast service! The quality of its food is good, it is not the best Palestine food I ever had tho!

  • Review 26 (2023-06-03 - Rating: 5)

Very nice cozy restaurantFriendly staff and delicious foodWe had very good hummus and grilled octopusMain dish: the chicken and the lamb (wonderful)

  • Review 27 (2024-05-27 - Rating: 4)

We had a lovely dining experience at qanoon. From the appetizers to the mains to the unique and delicious desserts. Our favorites were the cauliflower fritters and the bruschetta with the fig on top. The sumac chicken and rice with lamb were just too good. We tried the kanafeh - which was delicious and the tiramisu, also excellent! Must visit

  • Review 28 (2024-04-21 - Rating: 4)

The food here was quite good. Great atmosphere as well. The only detraction was the service. It felt rushed and more like a counter-service restaurant. They also really shouldnt require people to place their order all at once as that shouldnt be expected in a restaurant that charges these prices.

  • Review 29 (2023-03-10 - Rating: 4)

I came here at 8pm on a Thursday night with a reservation and the place was at about 80% capacity. The food and service were good. I liked their pita and ended up ordering extra! I also liked the vibe of the place a lot. It felt causal and comfortable. I wouldn’t travel to get to this restaurant and try it, but if you live in the neighborhood, you should check it out.

  • Review 30 (2024-05-12 - Rating: 5)

Meddierainean food with a unique touch from mixing different ingredients and spices different from other restaurants Ive tried. Favourites were the cauliflower fritters, roasted eggplant, and kunefe. Their kunefe is the best Ive tried in NYC (beat a Turkish restaurant where I last thought was the best) as the phyllo covering is perfectly slow cooked, not burnt at all. It matches well with the chewy cheese, topped with crushed pistachios and pomegranate seeds. Most importantly and unique from all kunefe Ive tried is that they put the sugar syrup on the side so it can be made without sugar!

  • Review 31 (2023-08-05 - Rating: 5)

My husband & I had a lovely dinner here on Thursday night. It was a lovely summer evening and we sat outside. Our waiter was prompt, professional, & personable. We ordered drinks which were fabulous along with 3 apps, 2 entrees, & 2 desserts. Everything came out perfect & delicious! I HIGHLY recommend a wonderful dining experience here!

  • Review 32 (2023-10-20 - Rating: 5)

Had an amazing dinner with a vegan friend here— between the dips, bread, fattoush salad and cauliflower fritters we had an amazingly flavorful plant based meal! The outdoor dining is on the sidewalk and not under one of those unpleasant wooden huts on the street which I appreciated. Proud to support a Palestinian establishment now more than ever

  • Review 33 (2024-08-25 - Rating: 5)

    Great brunch options

  • Review 34 (2019-09-12 - Rating: 5)

Delicious! Cool modern vibe. Mediterranean/Palestinian cuisine is incredible addition to Chelsea.

  • Review 35 (2024-02-13 - Rating: 5)

Incredible food with a cozy atmosphere. Cant go wrong with anything on the menu!

  • Review 36 (2023-12-30 - Rating: 4)

Atmosphere was amazing. I was hoping the lampShank would be better but it lacked spices to be honest. The baked pies and a chicken main that i completely forgot name of was pretty food as well.

  • Review 37 (2024-07-04 - Rating: 5)

Octopus over hummus and Palestinian kick cocktail have been very good

  • Review 38 (2024-06-03 - Rating: 5)

Fabulous food, cozy atmostphere. Authentic, robust flavors. One of the best meals Ive had in NYC

  • Review 39 (2023-06-03 - Rating: 5)

This is the best Mediterranean restaurant in Manhattan!!, and not like other gimmicky Mediterranean restaurants in Manhattan. I’ve been an Arab for long time (since I was born, ;)), and my experience in Mediterranean food is so extensive. I visit Qanoon regularly on weekends for brunches. Qanoon brings the best ingredients, not to mention the chef’s touch, Tarek Daka, that make the food so authentic just like the Middle East. The menu is so diverse and full of unique dishes that you won’t find them anywhere here.If you want to have a real Mediterranean culinary experience, this is the place!!!

  • Review 40 (2023-10-19 - Rating: 5)

Highly recommend, food is delicious and very authentic. It’s family friendly and the shareable appetizers are so good. If you haven’t had makloubeh before you should definitely try theirs!

  • Review 41 (2023-10-16 - Rating: 5)

Came here for lunch today and had a lovely meal! I had a coffee with cardamom in it, which was strong and flavorful. We ordered hummus and pita, the Arayes sandwich (fried pita with ground beef and pickled onions) and the frittata with feta and mint. Everything was flavorful and delicious. The decor inside the restaurant is tasteful as well. Would definitely come again!

  • Review 42 (2024-06-29 - Rating: 5)

The food was amazing, and the service was friendly. I will definitely come again.

  • Review 43 (2020-03-08 - Rating: 5)

A great place to go. The food is special, and the Mujaddara Croquettes are amazing.

  • Review 44 (2021-10-16 - Rating: 5)

Great meal. My first experience with Palestinian food so I dont have anything to compare to except other Middle Eastern cuisine, but wow, what a first impression.I had the baked feta which was sweet, salty and savory - didnt think feta had such depths to it! For the entree I did the sumac chicken. Other reviews I saw of this dish appreciated how its unassuming presentation makes you think of home cooking, and that is spot on. The sumac adds a slight sour note, which elevates the rest of the aromatics and the chicken itself. The wine we chose (I forget what) was good, and helped us appreciate the food all the better.Absolutely plan on visiting again!

  • Review 45 (2022-10-22 - Rating: 5)

Late lunch this afternoon in gorgeous sunshine outside, the service could not have been nicer and offered both brunch and dinner menus. Absolutely delicious hummus and fried cauliflower appetizer, the zucchini makloubeh (stuffed with rice and lamb, in tomato sauce) was wonderful, and the mint tea and Arabic coffee was the perfect ending. Thank you, Qanoon!

  • Review 46 (2023-05-28 - Rating: 5)

One of the best spot in NYC so far. We like to be adventurous and try different ethnic foods. We’re Italian, we know that when it comes to “exported cuisines”, a lot is lost in translation, in this case everything was good at a level of which, if it’s not the same as the original, it might even be better. We just followed host recommendations, we ordered baked sesame seed in crusted feta and figs which was outstanding, mujaddara, octupus over tomatoes and knafeh. The Palestinian wine was the perfect match. Host super kind and ready to explain/suggest. Service fast. Location (outdoor) quiet and comfortable. Definitely coming back next time in NYC!

  • Review 47 (2022-08-20 - Rating: 5)

Phenomenal! Food is delicious, servers are warm and attentive, and prices are reasonable (not cheap, but fair portions of very high quality food). I had dinner here twice in three nights during a recent trip to NYC. Recommendations: squid over hummus and Palestinian spiced shrimp starters; kofta and filet over moussaka mains.

  • Review 48 (2024-09-09 - Rating: 5)

We had wonderful experience at Qanoon. Delicious food, unique menu, great atmosphere/music, and outstanding service (very friendly to children). Worth trying this restaurant!

  • Review 49 (2022-07-04 - Rating: 5)

    Amazing food!! Definitely must try.

  • Review 50 (2021-10-10 - Rating: 5)

Try the octopus with hummus. Great food and even better service.

  • Review 51 (2023-07-01 - Rating: 5)

Read about Qanoon on food blogs and decided to come and try it out. The recipes where different than the traditional ways of serving typical dishes but the experience and reimagining of the recipes in a restaurant setting was excellent. Highly recommended.

  • Review 52 (2023-06-05 - Rating: 5)

Guys food is just outstanding. The octopus hummus and kufta sandwich is just to die for. Ask for the chef recommendation on Win. They pick the best once’s that goes with all the delicious food. Love this place.

  • Review 53 (2022-04-01 - Rating: 5)

If you haven’t been here @Qanoon you are missing out….As a palestinian, this is where I go when i need a taste of home- the food is seriously so EPIC . I have brought so many friends here who have fallen in love with the place - plenty of amazing options to choose from and delicious drinks at their bar. The staff is so warm and will make anyone feel as they are home - be sure to save room for dessert, the knafeh is one of my favorite :)

  • Review 54 (2024-09-21 - Rating: 5)

Got the tabbouleh, octopus, beet & garlic labneh, and cauliflower fritters — we enjoyed everything! I think the fritters had a little too much batter on them, but otherwise so delicious! Definitely order the tabbouleh.

  • Review 55 (2020-01-03 - Rating: 5)

The best thing to happen to Manhattan since.... This is the best thing that ever happened to Manhattan. The entire experience was great. Very authentic, with a superb twist. You can tell this was all cohesively inspired by a passionate artist. The ambiance was captivating. The food, I could melt in the plates. We absolutely couldnt stop raving about the taste, the selection, and the classy subtle music. I could go on - was beyond impressed. The service was highly professional, friendly, and succinct. Get the Mjaddara Croquettes, totally worth it. Everything on the menu that we tried was above and beyond.

  • Review 56 (2021-11-21 - Rating: 5)

This place is a gem! The food is fresh and tasty, we went for brunch and ordered the kefta sandwich , muhammara, mujjadara croquettes, kibbeh, and knafeh for dessert. We died in heaven 🙂 The service was excellent, the waiters were awesome and very helpful, and the decoration is very beautiful. Subtle and chic, with beautiful Palestinian notes all around. We will return soon!

  • Review 57 (2024-08-05 - Rating: 5)

Had most of the vegetarian options for lunch, very fresh and yummy! Portions are a bit small and pricey, but worth it! The staff was nice and loved the decor, especially the painting on the wall!

  • Review 58 (2023-03-08 - Rating: 4)

Went to this place for team dinner. Interiors were warm and cozy, loved the vibe. Since we were 7 of us, we had to go for family style pre-fixed menu. They have Palestinian lager and ipa. The food was delicious, especially Muhammara, Bruschetta with figs and Musakhan chicken entree. From the 4 desserts on the menu, Tiramisu with the Mediterranean twist and the Pistachio ice-cream were great. They replaced an appetiser Octopus on Hummus with fried kibbeh without informing us and didn’t let us know until we asked and when we requested them to replace one of the dessert on the pre-fixed menu with Tiramisu, it was a straight no, which I thought wasn’t fair. They charged us extra for the other desserts, but we ordered them anyways. Good experience overall!

  • Review 59 (2020-02-19 - Rating: 5)

Absolutely wonderful. We live nearby and the scents that drift out of this restaurant have transformed our neighborhood and tempted many. Having said that we tried it and loved it. Of particular note is the sumac chicken. Probably the best chicken Ive ever had and well be back

  • Review 60 (2023-04-16 - Rating: 5)

Qanoon is one of the very few Mediterranean restuarants with delicious creativity. Usually, these types of restaurants have the same menu. But not Qanoon. Go there! It is super delicious and with great value. Try the Messakhan chicken. Amazing Palestinian dish with a special flare by Qanoon.Compared to the quality the food, the price is pretty low.

  • Review 61 (2022-10-30 - Rating: 5)

The restaurant was cute and charming. We came here after visiting Little Island. The food here was super delicious! It is an excellent place to come with a group of friends as everything is shareable. We didnt know much about what to order, so we trusted our waiter completely, and he was spot on.We had the muhammara (For The Table) to start as we waited for our dishes to arrive. For the 4 of us, we shared mujaddara croquette, chili & garlic shrimp, and fried kibbeh as appetizers. We then shared makloubeh (lamb stew) and musakhan (chicken) as main courses.Wow!!! The makloubeh was so juicy and tender. The musakhan was really good too..but I was a bit too full by then to really enjoy it. And dont forget the dessert - knafeh. The best part about the whole experience - it was relatively inexpensive!!!

  • Review 62 (2021-03-26 - Rating: 5)

Authentic food and consistent every time...place to go for comfort food! Dessert kanafa is by far my favorite and a must.

  • Review 63 (2021-12-11 - Rating: 5)

Warm atmosphere and creative twist on delicious Palestinian food.

  • Review 64 (2022-11-05 - Rating: 5)

We where walking along and noticed this place and we are glad that went in service atmosphere food everything was just great will definitely come back and try other things

  • Review 65 (2022-12-03 - Rating: 4)

The food was solid throughout the meal. The octopus on hummus was by far my favorite, because the octopus was so well cooked and seasoned. The muhamarra dip was tasty. The eggplant and mushroom entree was fine, but the combined flavors were on top of one another. Just like the tables, which were too close together.

  • Review 66 (2020-02-27 - Rating: 4)

Tried Qanoon this week and I am very happy with the whole experience. I was expecting a hole in the wall but was happy to see it was a decently sized restaurant with comfy seats and tables that are not pushed up too close to each other. The service as wonderful. I had Messaya Arak with my meal and recommend it to everyone out there. The food was delicious: the most amazing dish to me was the Mjaddara balls, you MUST try them!. The babaganouj was perfect and the freshly baked traditional bread was glorious. We also had the kibbeh nayyeh, labneh balls and the Msakhan.. all yummy! The only thing I didnt like was the Maqloubeh but thats probably because I am Palestinian and have my own expectations/experiences of the national dish :-) All in all, it was a fantastic experience and I will be going back soon.

  • Review 67 (2020-02-02 - Rating: 5)

It was my first time trying Qanoon this weekend and it surpassed all my expectations. The food was great! The kofta and maklooba was delicious. The desserts even better. The kunafa is a must and the best Ive had in all of NYC!. Plus the middle eastern hospitality made us want to return as soon as possible. If you havent been yet you definitely need to check this place out soon.

  • Review 68 (2019-12-27 - Rating: 5)

Lovely middle eastern restaurant! Beautiful food with terrific service. Youll be missing out by not going here. The hummus, beet/goat cheese brushetta, and roasted chicken were delicious. The tahini gelato is to die for. Definitely worth visiting.

  • Review 69 (2022-06-08 - Rating: 5)

This was the most AMAZING FOOD I’ve had in the genre of middle eastern. I would highly recommend it to anyone. We had the TABBOULEH to start with and it was so fresh and cleansed the palette well for the rest of our meal. For dinner we shared the MAKLOUBEH and MUSAKHAN. The musakhan’s chicken was a little dry but the flavor was good and the onions flavorful. The MAKLOUBEH was DIVINE. It was so creamy and the rice tasted like goat meat with the meat melting in your mouth. It really lifted my spirits after being outside in the cold and rain. Service is prompt and nice and the location is intimate. Would be a great place for a date or to catch up with friends over a great meal. Will definitely be back!!

  • Review 70 (2020-03-09 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 74 (2023-10-21 - Rating: 5)

Amazing food and great service. Excellent lamb shank, knafeh and kibbeh. Probably the best lamb shank I have ever had!!

  • Review 75 (2023-12-10 - Rating: 5)

Great food. We ordered like 6 things and they were all delicious.

  • Review 76 (2023-03-11 - Rating: 4)

Food was very flavorful and savory. It was cozy inside, had nice music. Highlight were the dips and pita was included! The eggplant beet special on toast was the best item. They were pushy about how long we were there, they were clear they wanted to turnover the table and rushed our two person table out. There was an empty table right next to us.

  • Review 77 (2023-07-16 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 80 (2019-09-12 - Rating: 5)

A Middle Eastern delight to my senses, exciting menu, delicious and beautiful cuisine. The ambience is modern and pretty. A much needed touch of flavor to our Chelsea neighborhood. I am excited for my next experience here!!!!

  • Review 81 (2024-07-24 - Rating: 5)

Indoor seating has a small but inviting setup. We tried several appetizers and a dessert. The octopus was *amazing* as was the kibbeh - both are favorite dishes of mine and these were top notch. The muhammara had a kick and was really tasty. Order extra pita for sure. The halloumi was fine but might be better grilled rather than fried. If you have room for dessert, try the knafeh, its decadent.

Piece of heaven in your mouth

  • Review 83 (2023-11-13 - Rating: 5)

All the food was delicious! Really recommend the hummus, Musakhan and the knafeh for dessert

  • Review 84 (2024-06-12 - Rating: 5)

One of my new favorite restaurants. The food is amazing. I had the lamb shank and stuffed bell pepper. My only complaint is they have no high chair. So not the most baby friendly spot.

  • Review 85 (2020-01-05 - Rating: 5)

Wonderful experience! Came here with a Palestinian friend of mine and I must say, the most authentic and delicious taste I’ve had so far. My favorite was the fava bean dip, makousheh, and kunafeh. It was to die for!! A definite must visit food spot if you’re in NYC.

  • Review 86 (2024-04-04 - Rating: 5)

Order the Chicken Musakhan. Ask for an extra piece of pita to soak up all the drippings. Trust me.

  • Review 87 (2023-03-22 - Rating: 5)

Amazing food and wine for a reasonable price. Very satisfying. Great service, complete knowledge of gluten allergens

  • Review 88 (2022-06-20 - Rating: 5)

Amazing food, great service and cool vibe. Had four appetizers- all of which were outstanding. The chili & garlic shrimp - spicy and fresh with a crispy crunchy topping - was a standout. Could have had several servings of these all by themselves. The cauliflower fritters had a savory breading and the florets were cooked yet still firm. First time having labneh which was thick and creamy and topped sautéed mushrooms. Heavenly! The hummus was smooth and the pita was the perfect balance of soft and not too thick or spongy. The watermelon martini was bright and fresh and complimented the flavors of the food. Will definitely be back.

  • Review 89 (2024-06-30 - Rating: 5)

My first time visiting Qanoon last night and had an exceptional experience. Every dish burst with fresh flavors, leaving me wanting more and more with each bite. The service from the team was impeccable, enhancing our experience. Standout dishes included the Kofta, Halloumi and watermelon starter, and Mujaddara Croquettes. I cant recommend this place enough!

Amazing foods, so tasty and well presented too. The Arak was super smooth. We had the roasted beet labne and roasted cauliflower for appetizers. I really enjoyed the Musakhan chicken, so unique and flavorful. Very pleasant and attentive service staff too.

  • Review 93 (2021-08-09 - Rating: 5)

Outdoor service. Terrific Mediterranean fare...the croquettes and baba ganoush really hit the spot. Friendly and attentive service who offered a lot of help hints.

  • Review 94 (2023-02-18 - Rating: 4)

Food was presented well but a bit Americanized in taste. Had musakhan and maqluba which were ok.

  • Review 107 (2024-04-06 - Rating: 5)

Qanoon is delicious. I was here in September ‘23 - my review is a bit late coming; I apologize. The food is delicious, the ambiance was nice and relaxed, but the mahummara… spent time in the Middle East. One bite of the mahummara sent me some where else, like when Anton Ego took a bite of Remy’s ratatouille. The food hit me at a spiritual level. Phenomenal. Highly recommend Qanoon. It’s sooooo good.

  • Review 108 (2021-01-06 - Rating: 5)

My friends and I had dinner at Qanoon last evening. The food was excellent and our server Tomas was very professional and friendly. We all devoured everything- my favorite was the tabouleh- loved the pomegranate which was unexpected and gave sweetness to the dish. We all enjoyed our dinner! I will definitely return soon!!

  • Review 118 (2023-03-16 - Rating: 4)

A nice Mediterranean restaurant in Chelsea area. The atmosphere was cozy and the food was good. They had good vegetarian options. If a party is more than 6, they force a family style fixed price per person. Overall I had a nice dinner and recommend it for small groups.

QAnon Restaurant in New York City is a special place to eat thats unlike any other. When you walk in, youll feel surrounded by a captivating and enjoyable atmosphere. The menu has tasty dishes inspired by Palestinian cuisine, which is well-known and loved. The staff is friendly and knows a lot about the food, making sure you have a memorable time. The background music adds to the charm, with nice Arab tunes playing. If youre a fan of Middle Eastern food and culture, you must visit QAnon Restaurant for a delicious and delightful experience.

  • Review 121 (2023-01-01 - Rating: 5)

Wonderful food in a cute space. Ive taken lots of visitors to Qanoon and everyone is always impressed. Usually it doesnt take too long to get seated, and the food is beautiful, fresh, and unique - great Palestinian wine too. I appreciate the classy but understated vibe of the space, where the focus is on the food. A real hidden gem!

  • Review 122 (2023-01-15 - Rating: 5)

Absolutely phenomenal, home made Palestinian cooking. Everything from scratch, including the baked goods (sesame bread, pita, and hand pies). Even our 3.5 year old loved his meal. Beautiful room and atmosphere, friendly staff. Only comparable hummus I’ve ever had was freshly picked in Silwan. Can’t wait to come back

  • Review 123 (2022-12-19 - Rating: 5)

Absolutely incredible! We booked this restaurant at the last second on a Saturday night looking to take advantage of the diverse NYC food scene. Every dish we ordered was amazing, the ambiance was great, and service was fantastic. The tabbouleh was a stand out and we want to come back every time we come to the city.

  • Review 125 (2023-08-29 - Rating: 5)

Octopus hummus was excellent and frozen mint lemonade mocktail was so refreshing on a hot evening. Walked in on a weds 8pm. Only knock was the cramped seating placement for two despite quite a few empty larger tables for the hour we were there.

  • Review 144 (2021-05-09 - Rating: 5)

I was very excited to finally try some Palestinian dishes that my friend has talked about for years. He doesnt cook much so my only chance to really try anything he remembers from childhood is to go to a restaurant. We were very happy to see several menu items that we havent been able to find elsewhere. The time and effort the staff have put into creating a pleasant dining experience was greatly appreciated!

  • Review 145 (2023-01-08 - Rating: 5)

Exceptional food and wonderful service all served in an adorable space. Loved the Palestinian wine too! We had tickets to a Broadway show and were short on time (50 minutes) and we told our waiter who made significant efforts to ensure our dining experience was well paced so we could enjoy our food and also make our show on time. The fried kibbeh, makloubieh, fried cauliflower and baba ghanoush were standouts. Just delicious!!

Not stuffy.Service: very friendly, professional and accommodating peoplePrice-quality ratio: not bad, keeping in mind that this is not a fast food place.Cons: Not recommended for babies/stroller.All in all, recommended and we would go back soon.

  • Review 149 (2020-02-03 - Rating: 4)

I enjoyed this restaurant for a few specific reasons 1) we were interested in having a quiet earlier dinner with our newborn. Restaurant was good to accommodate for stroller and was half full, without a high noise level. 2) Menu was great; the variety of different options were great to choose from 3) Food was above average 4) service was very good 5) staff were extremely polite and not dressed in uniforms, so felt very family oriented. We would certainly come here again; great value and experience.
