We popped in here because it was close to our hotel and my Longhorns were playing in the CFP. And Long Acre did not disappoint, this was a great place to watch sports and have some delicious food and food drinks! I definitely recommend you stop on by and give them a shot and make sure you try the pretzel! -

Long Acre in New York is an excellent spot for football fans, offering numerous screens to catch all the games. The food selection is impressive, catering to various tastes. The giant pretzel is a standout item, praised for its deliciousness. Additionally, the beer is not only cold but also reasonably priced, enhancing the overall experience. Service is prompt, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a game with good food and drinks.Reserved online a few days before, was easy to do. -

I was nearby and needed a place to sit before my reservation. This bar is very loud event the time I stepped in wasnt busy. Service was good, very casual and super chilling. I got couple drinks before I left. Anyway, if you want the place for killing time, I think this bar is a good choice for Time square. -

Popped into Long Acre Tavern for a few pints and was pleasantly surprised! They have a great selection of drinks, with quick and friendly service. The Irish bartender added a lovely touch to the experience, making it even more enjoyable. It has a quaint, cozy tavern feel – a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Times Square. We only discovered this gem on our last day, right across from our hotel – wish we’d found it sooner! -

(All of the pictures are from the second floor). Amazing chicken wings and I recommend the BBQ wings. Also has buffalo sauce for the brave. Lots of filling food options on the menu and a wide range of drinks for all ages, this includes water and juice all the way to White Wine. Amazing service and great location since it is right by Times Square. Good place to go if you are a fan of sports since it has lots of TVs that play different sports throughout the day. There is also a bar. Also, there is karaoke that you can sign up for on slips that they hand out. -

I can say that this is a good place to stop and have a drink and some apps. Would not recommend the nachos. They were lacking toppings and cheese! However, the loaded fries were excellent!Service was ok, not great, but good enough for what we needed at that moment. -
Review 7 (2024-01-06 - Rating: 4)
We went to see the premier League game. Chopped salad was pretty delicious and we asked for the blue cheese on the side.Fish and chips were good but not great. The batter was a bit thick for my liking. -

We found this place right in the Times Square area to enjoy some food and beverage before going to the Sunday football game. We werent disappointed at all with any of our experience here. Online ordering at the table has become the thing and they have it down in that there is minimal waiting to receive your order. Also, there are plenty of TVs available to watch your favorite event. -

Spent the biggest share of our day at the Long Acre Tavern (upper level) with John, Christina and the rest of the staff. The service could not have been better!!!! Such a friendly group of people!!Watched the Buffalo Bills game drinking beers and having snacks, with several other Bills fansI would highly recommend this place for a true NYC experience! -

We went NYC to watch Spanish El Clásico with the family and also to have a lunch. We were recommended this place( so glad we listened) The Long Acre Tavern is a must in NYC. Food was simple and delicious atmosphere was upscale and friendly, service was accommodating to our requests. -
Review 11 (2024-06-19 - Rating: 4)
I came here with friends for happy hour. Our waitress was attentive and quick to return with drinks. Some of us ordered food and it came out fresh and colorful. Shepards pie was nicely done with a bit of spice to it so it wasnt boring. Burger was ok, fries were fought over because they were yummy and easily sharable. Customers in other groups seemed happy. Bathrooms were upstairs, not sure if there were accessible ones downstairs. -

Really solid Bar & Grill style tavern.Vibe is great, food was really good, (late night menu after 11pm, we were 5min late and that was the only options 🙄)Drinks on the standard med/high for New York.Overall a good late night spot to catch some food and a drink. 👌 -

Feels like an upscale pub, but once your there it’s warm and cozy. I came to watch Thursday Night Football, they had Amazon Prime and I got to watch the game. I ordered chicken nachos and beer and both were great. The server was on point which made the whole experience terrific. Being close to Times Square there are usually lots of tourists here, so beware. -

Awesome bar with excellent burgers! We were attending a show nearby and our group stopped in. The manager was so pleasant and we enjoyed the entire vibe. I would definitely come back next time I’m in the Times Square area. -

Very pleased with the adult beverages, wings, and the Long Acre burger which was fantastic - really great mesh of flavors. Travelers tip: this was a great stop between 5th avenue and Time Square. Nice atmosphere and super friendly staff. -

I didnt expect to find a pub like this right next to Times Square. Its more affordable than other nearby options of a similar calibre, and the staff were super lovely and fun to talk to.Good selection of beers, including some top quality Guinness. Buffalo wings were fantastic. -

Review 24 (2020-03-02 - Rating: 4)
Came here to watch El clasico match last minute due to Smithfield Hall being full. I was not sure what to expect but to my surprise this place is very modern, tv galore and has ample seating options (bar, tables, booth, high tops). We sat at a table in the back room and had our own personal tv to watch the game which was amazing. We ordered the jumbo pretzel, BBQ boneless wings, BBQ regular chicken wings, and the loaded tater tots. The food was delicious BBQ on wings was on the sweet side which is my personal preference and meat was juicy and portion was more then enough for one person. Tater tots were my favorite nice golden crunchy exterior loaded with beer cheese bacon and scallions, great dish to share with 2-3 people. The pretzel looked good but tasted like cardboard and beer cheese was not hot enough, would skip. They had an extensive alcohol menu and service was very friendly and attentive. All together tab was fair for amount of food and quality and tip was included so make sure you read the receipt. Would come back with a group of friends to watch any sporting event, as for FC Barcelona games it definitely does not compare to Smithfield Hall when it comes to the vibe and can base but overall still a solid neutral bar to watch soccer and other sports. -
Review 25 (2024-04-14 - Rating: 4)
Pretty good bar/pub for being so close to Times Square. The pretzel is definitely worth it! Sesame cauliflower was really good as well. -
Review 26 (2022-05-27 - Rating: 4)
All the basic tick marks for the drinks and some wonderful bar food fare. Personally we found the place loud but I guess that is how the tavern atmosphere would be so just a personal comment. Enough choice available for the non meat eaters too -
Review 27 (2022-01-12 - Rating: 5)
Words cant describe the experience I had at The Long Acre. Yet, I will do my best. I came in from Texas to visit family for the holidays. I appreciate you, Peter and company, along with the fellowship of new friends. Food was top notch, I had the wings (to die for yummy, and the pretzel) the selection of drinks was just right. Not some extravagant drink, with all types of mixtures in it. Beer was ice cold and the wait staff from the host, and Daniel the bartender were so inviting. That says alot, especially during the pandemic. To my fellow Man UTD supporters. If you are in the area, and have nowhere to call home, you do now. Get there. Support these men and women, because I know they will support you. The atmosphere in the tavern on match day is great. TVs everywhere, memorabilia you can only find here. Cheers guys. I will be back. Thanks for everything,Mitch -

Review 29 (2024-08-07 - Rating: 5)
Only one real vegan option but its pretty good , burger with fries. I added vegan cheese and it was actually pretty legit. Tons of the regular bar foods and everything we ordered was tasty. Not gunna knock your socks off but you wont be disappointed either. Lots of tvs to watch all the sports and a pretty good location. -
Review 30 (2024-07-13 - Rating: 4)

Review 32 (2024-12-04 - Rating: 5)
Didnt catch the name of our bartender but she had dark hair and had an Irish accent -- absolutely fantastic! Cocktails were great. Palomas, strawberry margaritas, kamikaze shots, vodka cran, screwdrivers, mojitos, all fantastic. Had the chicken nachos, highly recommend those as well. Great time in the upstairs bar! -
Review 33 (2024-08-31 - Rating: 4)
A typical American sports bar. Went there after our Broadway play.Standard food, had the steak and blue cheese wrap which was good with plenty of meat and cheese! Crispy fries.Findley service.Others in our group were also satisfied. -

Review 36 (2024-08-11 - Rating: 4)

Review 37 (2024-02-08 - Rating: 5)
We walked into The Long Acre on our first day of our NYC trip, and it did not disappoint! We happened to show up on Karaoke Night, and the entire place was exploding with energy. The food was phenomenal. Definitely the best Fish and Chips I’ve ever had. If you’re in New York City, definitely put this on your must do list! -

Review 40 (2024-04-20 - Rating: 5)
Fabulous spot to go before a show- good pub food without the tourist vibe. Also have a bestie who is a vegan that loves coming here- he loves the many options for foods that’s more than just salad! They also have great mocktail and non alcoholic beers for the drivers, baby mamas, and sober friends. -
Review 41 (2024-06-29 - Rating: 5)
We were doing our tourist thing and ducked in here for lunch and the restroom. Was pretty slow on a hot Saturday afternoon, but we liked the quiet. The food was very, very good! We shared half of what we got and were both delighted by the food. Everything was a touch pricey, but again. Tourist. All in all, I would recommend visiting. -

Review 44 (2021-12-09 - Rating: 4)

Very cool place. Food and service was great. Quick and didn’t have to wait. Would recommend if ur walking around time square and want to grab a quick bite with the kids or u can hang out to at the bar. -
Review 50 (2023-05-23 - Rating: 4)
A great big bar with welcoming staff and an emphasis on soccer. Maybe that was why the bar was full of middle-aged white males. There are great cocktails, although we stuck with beer. Six pints of Stella Artois, a salad, cauliflower wings and sweet potato fries cost us just over $90 plus tip. We enjoyed ourselves, particularly as we chatted to our Venezuelan waitress and the Cork-native manager. Definitely a place to catch European soccer while in New York City. -
Review 51 (2024-05-04 - Rating: 5)
Yo, Darren and Karen are the best! They run a great bar where everyone has a good time and the drinks are reasonably priced, especially for NYC. I saw some Canadian ladies cheering for the Canucks while I was watching the Mets game, and everyone celebrated their win. Its a really cool place, and if youre friendly, they might even give you a free beer. I highly recommend this place, even for locals who work in the city. Just let them know youre a local, and theyll take care of you. -
Review 52 (2024-06-02 - Rating: 5)
Service, food, staff all great. The TV WAS TO LOUD!!! Thankfully it was near the end of our meal. -
Review 53 (2024-10-22 - Rating: 4)
Just came for a late night drink but we were pleasantly surprised by this find. The live music was a great volume, still allowing for conversation, but could still hear the talent of the performer. In the back is a great tavern vibe which makes for a nice place to hang out and get away from the sea of people that is a constant at the nearby Times Square.I was a little underwhelmed by the Cider I selected from the menu. It was partially my fault since I was a Canadian trying to drink American beer and well... need I say more? -

Review 55 (2022-10-26 - Rating: 5)
During our stay in NYC in September , we wanted to find a sports bar. There are plenty in New York City with the flash looks but lack character. So by luck when searching Google for sports bar close to our hotel we found The Long Acre Tavern. We went after a Friday night broadway show and loved it. The staff was friendly, excellent service for both drinks and food plus an overall vibe that you want in a sports bar. We loved it show much we made our way back there for Sunday afternoon football and the welcome was like we were regulars. All staff here are great. Will be back next time in NYC. Highly recommend to any travelers (heck locals) to visit....thank you -

Review 59 (2024-11-10 - Rating: 5)
Was here just a couple of nights ago, we were on Holiday from Scotland and staying at the hotel just across the road. We were looking for somewhere relatively close to finish off a sightseeing day with a meal. And remembered that we had spotted a pub whilst checking in. I was visiting with my mother who has torn ligaments in her knee, so as you can imagine after walking around New york all day she was very tired and her knee was bothering her. We walked in and were shown to a table with high bar stools. My mum was disapointed as she struggles to sit on those, and the lady who served very kindly moved us to a booth right up at the back, happened to be called the Sir Alex Ferguson booth which we both laughed at and sent pictures to our friends at home.Im sorry I dont remember our servers name but she was Irish. The food was also great and served very quickly. Great location, great atmosphere. My only slight thing would be that it got fairly loud, but we were there after 6pm so completely understandable! If were ever back we will visit again, thanks guys! -

Review 63 (2023-10-15 - Rating: 4)
We came here last year and really enjoyed it. This year was ok. Server got lost after first providing great service. We would have ordered another drink. We ordered two old fashioned, one with Jim Beam , one with Bullit. The Bullit was better. The chicken wings were large and tasty. Cobb salad with crispy chicken was 4 out of 5. Last year it was 5/5. We don’t need to go back, because we already have, and Manhattan has so many other options. -
Review 64 (2019-12-24 - Rating: 5)
Chef Lee doesn’t disappoint. Extremely talented and vegan friendly. Cauliflower is a MUST. -
Review 65 (2021-12-23 - Rating: 5)
The Long Acre Tavern has wonderful food, friendly staff, and the prices are very reasonable! My group needed a wheelchair accessible table and the restaurant was able to accommodate. They even had a wheelchair accessible restroom. The location was walking distance to the Broadway play I was seeing. I loved the atmosphere as well. -

Went here to see sports event...Server (Young Irish chap) was greatest!Although we checked in advance whether TVs are playing this event (U20 Worldcup), when we arrived, no TV playing.Happens Fox 2 no service. But, also playing in Hispanic channel (I forget.. Telemundo or NBC Universo).. server was able to finally have game on!!! (After missing much of 1H)Food, we ordered wings, quesadillas, tater tots. Tater tots the best.Beer, draft options good.Overall, good food, drink, vibe... especially ok to being loud and several sections, corners, floors allow small party room feel. -

Great food, great beer, and great service. We were lucky enough to stumble upon this place on the first day they were open since before the pandemic. I didn’t get a picture of the loaded tater tots (we ate them too fast), but they are amazing. The atmosphere is also nice since they play chill music that most people would know, and they have plenty of TVs with sports on. Loved it! -

Long Acre is such a wonderful addition to the Times Square area. Awesome cocktails, delicious food, and really friendly staff that makes you feel right at home. As a local New Yorker, I generally hate having to go out to eat in the TimeSQ area. I am so glad to have this place a new go-to for before the theatre, after the theatre, or just for anytime I need a place to go in the area. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it! -

Review 87 (2023-05-09 - Rating: 5)
Came in recently as I was looking for a reasonably priced dinner. The tavern chicken sandwich sounded good and was well rated, so I tried it. I was very happy, the bread was ciabatta like, fresh and the right amount of soft to crisp. The chicken was cooked well, juicy and hot, cheese was melty. I would certainly order it again, although several items on their menu sound good so Ill probably be updating this review as I try more offerings. They have happy hour all day on Monday and then a few hours Tuesday-Thursday. The happy hour has a small selection of beer, wine, and house liquor. Craft cocktails run about $15-16 and are not on happy hour but are good. Ultimately, there are more affordable places to get a drink, and many many more expensive ones, close by. I think the food will keep me coming back and Ill slowly make my way through the drink menu 😉 -

The Longacre is not just your average local pub; its a vibrant hub of energy and excitement, especially on game days. Stepping inside, youre immediately greeted by a lively atmosphere, with patrons passionately rooting for their favorite football teams. But its not just the spirited crowd that makes The Longacre special. Its the way the game is celebrated here, the way it should be: with camaraderie, enthusiasm, and good old-fashioned fun.One highlight not to be missed is the oversized pretzel, a true game day essential thats simply to die for. Paired with a cold beer from their impressive selection, its the perfect snack to enjoy while cheering on your team. And speaking of food, The Longacre offers a variety of other amazing bar fare thats sure to satisfy any craving. From classic pub grub to inventive twists on traditional favorites, theres something for everyone on the menu. While I didnt get the chance to try the cocktails myself, I can attest to the fact that their beer selection brought me back to the better days. Theres something nostalgic about enjoying a cold brew while watching the game, and The Longacre captures that sentiment perfectly. In conclusion, if youre looking for an authentic game day experience filled with lively people, delicious food, and a stellar beer selection, look no further than The Longacre. Its the ultimate destination for football fans and pub enthusiasts alike. ⚽️🥅🍻🍺 -

Very handy for anyone staying in the hotel across the road. Good menu for food and drink.3 members of our party used the rest rooms and advised the rest of us not too so any further visit was for 1 drink only. -

Wandered around the area trying to find an open bar on a late Monday night... And here I found myself. Great bartender... Who gave us the rest of the scotch in the bottle for free when it wasnt enough for a full drink. Cant ask for more... -

This is my go-to for food/drinks after a show. I love it because it is away from the crazy and rarely gets cramped. You can use the app(no need to download it) to order food and drinks which I love because you don’t have to wait on your server who is likely really busy to get your order in. The servers will still take your order if you prefer it “old school” or have trouble. I promise it’s not hard and it’s like ordering from any food app. They play sports on the TVs and have live music, overall this place hasn’t failed me and I’ve been going there for a while now. Usually bar food is meh but the food here is surprisingly good and is open later than most places. Def recommend for non-locals! -

I was surprised that the taco salad only had lettuce, tomato, cheese. You had to pay extra for steak and that was grizzly.Good draft of Guinness! TVs were great. -

My husband and I visited New York for 10 days and stayed near Times Square. We found the Long Acre Tavern as it was right across the road from us and it did not disappoint! We both cannot fault the place at all. All staff members were so lovely and welcoming. Nothing was ever too much trouble and always a smile on the staffs faces while serving even on a hectic St Patrick’s day weekend. Service was always quick and never had a glass empty as they were on the ball. Food was also lovely. We met Thomas who owns the Long Acre Tavern and again could not be any more welcoming and friendly. Came over to our table to chat to us and ask how we were liking New York. When we next book up for New York we will definitely be back at the Long Acre Tavern! -
