The hostess Giovani was lovely. The atmosphere was amazing! Music was great - this place is the most luxurious lounge on Steinway; Upper class lounge. The diamond hookah was smooth and the Khatar flavor was amazing!

The food was good, the drinks amazing and creative. Our server was Giovanni and she was great, very helpful and attentive. The atmosphere started off amazing with a really great belly dancer, but after she was done the music was very loud and repetitive hip hop the whole time. Would recommend switching up the type of music and maybe attempting something to fit the middle eastern/arabic vibe of the place. Otherwise its a very cool place, definitely recommend.

This hookah lounge is amazing! The interior decor is luxury and is a vibe. Large selection of hookah’s plus they keep changing the charcoal to keep it going, which was perfect! The food is fresh and delicious. The service & hospitality, WOW! Brandon, the manager, is super polite, friendly and professional. Very attentive! I only got 2 small complaints, the music should have been more middle eastern and there’s no alcohol. Otherwise the drinks are delicious and this place is absolutely worth checking out! They have belly dancing on Friday’s & Saturday’s. I’ll definitely be going back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely Wonderful..! We were not even planning to go here, but on our way to one of the Hookah Lounges decided to go here instead simply because it looked so Beautiful from the outside, and good thing we did since it was easily one of the best Hookah Lounges I have been to.Ambience was awesome and the whole setup was very welcoming, and the Patio seating was so plush. Hostess and the Serving Staff were all super friendly, helpful, attentive, and quick to respond. Hookah was pretty good (they had Ice Hose too), and the Food was delicious. Drinks are non-alcoholic, so be prepared.We also got to Belly Dancing as a Bonus..!! It was Friday Night, so not sure what is the deal on other days.

This place has been on my list for a while but I wish I went earlier. Geovani our server was really attentive and gave us a lot of good recommendations. The belly dancer was so fun and she went to each table and danced with the guest. It was truly a fun experience. The vibe was more chill in the beginning then after the dancer left the DJ played a variety of music ranging from Afro beats to hip hop and dancehall as well as pop music. It’s a great date night or chill birthday experience. Can’t wait to go back!

Celebrated my birthday here with my wife! Such an amazing atmosphere with a modern ‘Dubai inspired’ interior design and arguably the best customer service/experience. Putra (our host) was very professional and answered every question we had. The mocktails 💯 the hummus/fries/pita platter 💯 the Moroccan mint tea 💯 the hot sand coffee 💯 the Rose Kanefeh dessert (no words can describe) 💯 But the Shisha (special mix recommended/crafted by Putra which we were able to sample before committing to) was honestly the best we ever had! Iced hose and all that jazz!! Imagine having all these eats and drinks and experiencing so many different flavors in one night! Go to this place! We highly recommend! NB: this ain’t no regular hookah lounge, this place is an experience!

Great vibes for a higher end hookah lounge with great flavors and super tasty appetizers. Every table has a button that you can press when you want to order something and the server will come to you! Originally came here for the Turkish sand coffee and we were bummed that you couldn’t see it made, but everything was great, although be prepared to pay a premium.

My friends and I went to Sands of Persia for their amazing smooth Hookah and were pleasantly surprised to find that they had a Qawah tea pot and tea with cardamom milk and it sounded so yummy! We got that plus a Knafeh and everything was super tasty. I will say one thing is that they’re more on the expensive side and the prices can definitely be improved but the vibes at SOP are amazing and the service is wonderful! They really take care of you and check in you and the Hookah itself is A plus. Def come check out this place if you’re in the mood for some good Hookah and food!

Read about this place from a New York Times feature and tried it since it’s down the block from my apartment. WOW, what a fun time. My gf and I got the Lindt Chocolate Shake (one of the most luxurious and delicious chocolate drinks I’ve ever had), some lovely strong black tea and a great hookah. The plush seats are super comfortable, the sound system is bumping and the service is friendly and attentive. This is an ownership and staff that really cares about the guest experience, and you can tell from the moment you walk in. Oh and though the vibe is a little clubby, it’s not pretentious at all. Very welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great time.

Today I went to sands of Persia for the first time. I walked in to a gorgeous room the aesthetic was gorgeous like literally the most beautiful hookah bar ever. Our waiter Mow was super cool and guided us on the best things to get. I would say we ordered a bit of everything because they had a very wide menu. Some of my favorites were the sweet chili chicken wings, chocolate lava cake, purple lemonade and of course the diamond hookah. The hookah did not stop working we stayed there smoking for two hours and had no complaints. The hookah guy kept checking in. Sands Of Persia is on another level when it comes to Hookah! I celebrated my birthday here yesterday and it was nothing but AMAZING. Their hookah is TOP TIER! Like LITERALLY!!! Its pulls so smooth, no harsh taste and the coal burns FOREVAAAAA. From the lux design and variety of different hookahs down to the variety of flavors. This is NOT your TYPICAL hookah lounge. The manager Brandon was very attentive checking in to make sure we were satisfied, explaining the different hookahs and flavors. The service staff was great as well all food came out fresh and hot! We ordered the chicken sandwich, hummus and chicken dumpling. Everything was tasty! I will def be back!If your looking for an upscale establishment with chill vibes Sands of Persia is it!

I loved the place. The hookah was amazing. The flavor was good. Great atmosphere good music, table service was great especially at the touch of a button! What made me lose the last star is the bathroom door! Cute idea but not for a public bathroom. It was this weird not so see through glass but im pretty sure you could see the outline of figures in there. Felt awkward using the bathroom and seeing the outlines of people on the other side of the door. Only issue i had with the place.

This was our first time walking into Sands with our friends. A couple of us had our Ecuadorian jersey since Ecuador had just played the World Cup that day. From the beginning Mo interacted with us and spoke about the World Cup. As soccer fanatics we really appreciated this conversation. Mo was very attentive all the time. The place itself is really nice and elegant. The hookah was smooth, we had watermelon mint. The dessert was also amazing, chocolate mousse cake. Overall we had a great/chill time with our friends.

The person in charge of the hookah was very attentive and was constantly walking around, replacing the coal.Our waitress was super friendly but the service was really slow since the place was packed with people from the event.The desserts were delicious but when looking at the menu, way too overpriced.They surprised us with a belly dancer who did an amazing job keeping everyone engaged and did quite a performance.Would probably return for the hookah since it was priced like other spots on Steinway and was super tasty.

Such a beautiful space and the kindest staff. I visited on a Sunday night and got the chocolate mousse, house hookah, and tea - everything was yummy and served by the lovely Alice. Owner helped us get our hookah started and gave us tips and tricks - she was super welcoming. These hookahs are next level beautiful! So my wife and I along with two friends came here to try this place out because we saw it on Instagram. As soon as we entered we were greeted by the manager Brandon, who we saw on instagram. To say he was a nice person is an understatement. Brandon and his staff were on point as far as service. He recommended a few things that we tried, like the tea with mint and the tea with milk. I ordered the scorpion sheesha for myself and my friend had the Pawai sheesha. Brandon was very attentive to all the customers as if we were all at his house and he was hosting us. He constantly came over to make sure everything was up to par, but not in an annoying manner. There was also a belly dancer who was amazing. Will definitely be coming back soon

Sands of Persia is such a beautiful place to be spend your nights. It’s stunning, clean, everyone who works there is extremely nice and helpful. The service is immaculate. The aesthetics here is unmatched with the ambient lighting and the stunning hookahs. My personal favorite is the diamond hookah with the Flavor Pawaii 100% recommend. It never feels like you are sitting on Steinway instead I’m sitting in a lounge in Dubai.

So I am probably one of the biggest Hookah snobs. It’s rare that a place is able to make a hookah that I would smoke more then once. Sands of Persia lives up to my expectations. Asides form the custom made hookahs which have a nice even pull and industry standard purge (which isn’t each to pull of), the staff is also very knowledgeable on how to maintain proper heat and general flavor maintenance. The flavors remained full bodied on all 3 hookahs that I ordered for just under 2 hours.The place on inside looks like movie set. Over all has great vibes.
