The intimate space fosters a sense of camaraderie among patrons, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed evening. The curated drink menu showcases a mixologist’s prowess, offering inventive cocktails that tantalize the taste buds. While the limited seating may pose a challenge during peak hours, the attentive staff and unique ambiance make it a hidden gem worth discovering for those seeking a more intimate drinking experience. FOOD 10/10 ( happy hour menu ) . The happy hour drinks can be a tad bit stronger I will say. Other than that I’ll be back here again local spot for me. Harlem!!! -
Review 2 (2024-07-16 - Rating: 4)
The server said that they do not have gluten free options, however the atmosphere and mocktails were delicious. I think the server was a little overwhelmed because the space was packed and just didn’t have the bandwidth to help find something gluten free to eat- but they were still kind. Friends at the table said they liked the wings and the desear salad with shrimp -

This is pretty dope scene, kind of small but if you can get a seat it’s a great place to have cocktails. The staff was friendly. The drinks were nice and strong, pricey but very well prepared by the bartender. The food was okay, I had French fries and jerk chicken wings (not really jerked). All in all this place definitely served its purpose drink wise so I’ll be back around. -
Review 4 (2023-04-29 - Rating: 4)
Update: Went on a Thursday and unfortunately quality is not consistent in the drinks. Whilst the main bartender is there as a manager from Monday to Thursday, he is just taking care of having a good time and not necessarily to keep quality.Great selection of cocktails (some of the best Ive had in NY). Nothing to envy bars such as Mace, Bar Goto, Employees only or Katana Kitten. Will be back. -
Review 5 (2022-02-21 - Rating: 5)
This is one my favorite bars in NYC. The cocktails are delightful. The Leoness is my fav: sweet with a hint of ginger. The chicken sliders, lobster mac & cheese and the kale ceasar salad are a burst of flavors. The music is a mix of coupé décalé, afro beats, socca, dancehall, latin etc.Review from 2 years ago: small, cozy and intimate setting. Great drinks and food. Not for big groups. -
Review 6 (2024-01-25 - Rating: 5)
What a great find. Amazing place. Drinks are on spot and great people. Cool vibe. Highly recommended 👏 -
Review 7 (2018-03-14 - Rating: 4)
It really did feel like a speakeasy. From the outside it looks like an abandoned storefront but once you open the door and get past the curtains, it’s a nice little bar with a cozy atmosphere. Seating is very limited, I wanna say only about 20 people max can fit in there. The drinks were delicious though so it made up for the lack of space. All in all, I would go back. -
Review 8 (2019-01-09 - Rating: 5)
The bartender (Shane) is legendary! Cool vibe an an awesome place. Been living here for 1.5y and just found this spot. -
Review 9 (2017-07-05 - Rating: 4)
Top-tier cocktails--some of the best you might ever have. Below average food. A little bit tight inside. Reminds me of an East Village cocktail bar. -
Review 10 (2018-09-16 - Rating: 5)
A very nice little place, just ask for 3 cocktails by their own, they were just absolutely perfect and delicious! I recommend this place! -
Review 11 (2022-12-30 - Rating: 4)
The lobster mac was awesome and the vibe was cool. The food is great so it makes you wish there was more seating. The drinks are too pricey. I also wish the music was a little more soulful but I would definitely go there to eat and drive to another spot in the area to hear better music. -
Review 12 (2021-10-06 - Rating: 5)
Small place with outside seating Great music, delicious drinks. The mixologist was awesome. I will definitely recommend this place. -
Review 13 (2022-09-15 - Rating: 5)
I took my friend here for her birthday on a Wednesday (09/14) night and the atmosphere was dope. It wasn’t crowded so we were able to walk in and be seated. It is a bit small, but the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The Bartender was in good spirits, smiling and joking. Basically, having fun, so that’s a plus. My drinks were also good, and as well as the music!! Every song played was hittin. My friend and I were singing all night. My favorite on the menu is the lobster Mac and cheese. I’m addicted!! I also like the dim lighting with the candles on the table which makes it relaxing and comfortable. It can be a friends night out or date night. I will definitely be returning and for that lobster Mac and cheese lol -

Love the vibe of this intimate gem. I went there initially for the amazing cocktails (which theyre some of the Best!) And Ive kept going back for the amazing drinks, the great hospitality and the Food!! Love that its Black owned s/o to Karl and I cant forget my favorite person ever behind the Bar, Leo!!! -
Review 17 (2018-10-17 - Rating: 5)
Craft cocktails done well. They have a speakeasy vibe, but without the downtown pretentiousness. If the upstairs is all crammed, go downstairs for great lounge space. Enjoy their menu too, and not just the stuff from it. Very crafty, very good. -
Review 18 (2024-01-31 - Rating: 5)
Excellent cocktails during Happy Hour. Cool staff. Amazing atmosphere, except the music was a bit too loud. -
Review 19 (2022-08-23 - Rating: 5)
Small bar with great cocktails. I always appreciate when bartenders smile at their job and you will find that at this place. Besides, good techniques, well done cocktails. You will find Tiki cocktails. Nice bar. And you know you are at a good bar bar when they always refill your glass of water. I was there when they had just opened. Bartenders answer all question and also you can ask them for their own recommendations about other bars. Thats how bar community grows! -
Review 20 (2022-03-04 - Rating: 5)
They have some awesome cocktails.Their food is also good, the brussel sprouts were good but they had too much sauce. The kale salad was delicious. All dishes and drinks were a bit priceyTheir service was great and friendly. We really enjoyed the atmosphere here! -
Review 21 (2021-07-23 - Rating: 5)
Always enjoy the Drinks and service that are creative and always scrumptious. It is a very romantic spot and a great date night for anyone trying to impress who they are with. It is a Harlem staple And I encourage anyone to go at least once to be wild with old-fashioned cocktail hospitality. -
Review 22 (2021-07-14 - Rating: 5)
Awesome cocktails always! Music is on point with jam from all parts of Africa, Europe, etc. The ambiance is good and place gets crowded quickly. Server is entertaining and genuinely cares about patrons. -
Review 23 (2022-06-11 - Rating: 5)
Incredible cocktails, lively atmosphere, amazing bartender. It gets busy so expect a wait, but still an amazing evening. Food sounds good, but only did drinks. -
Review 24 (2013-08-04 - Rating: 4)
67 Orange is, in my opinion, one of the best lounges in Harlem. The drinks (and the menu) are well thought out and isnt just your run of the mill drinks. The ingredients work amazingly together and the bartenders are always willing to give you a taste of something new. The drink menu itself always has you searching to try something new. The food is great. I urge anyone to try the the Lucy Juicy sliders and the spicy popcorn. They also have red-velvet waffles that is fast becoming a famous delicacy in Harlem. It also has a very relaxed lounge atmosphere with little distractions. The place is designed to have good conversations with new folks and old friends. The bartenders are skilled at their craft and at the same time have great conversations with the patrons. This is a great social atmosphere and a bit of a getaway from the other noisy places in Harlem. -
Review 25 (2022-08-18 - Rating: 5)
Love the cocktails, my new favorite place. Leo is a great mixologist. -
Review 26 (2017-07-13 - Rating: 5)
Its hard to believe that this speakeasy cocktail lounge exists in this neighborhood, though it is a beautiful homage to a different time. When the Harlem Renaissance made Harlem the place to be for artists and intellectuals before poverty and drugs took the neighborhood by storm. Come here to drink gorgeous and innovative cocktails made by period dressed bartenders who are every bit as cool as you might imagine was the case back when jazz was the days pop and people still favored suspenders over belts as a matter of routine fashion.Like gin? Theres a gold mine of concoctions mixed with the herbaceous spirit. Whiskey your poison? Plenty to choose from. Vodka (are you really that boring)? Have at it. Pretty much anything and everything can be mixed at this bar from sweet to savory, floral to spicy, theyll make it and make it very, very well. The champagne cocktails appear to be popular as well, though thats not my thing. The clientele is as eclectic as the drink menu with a lovely mix of races and ethnicities peppering the few tables and stools of this cosmopolitan bar. Ive rubbed shoulders with TV personalities as often as Ive been hustled by one of the remaining vestiges of the previous poverty of the neighborhood (quickly shooed away by the attentive bartender who did so with aplomb). What makes 67 Orange so special is not that its a mixologists wet dream, but because it seeks to reinvigorate the neighborhoods rich history rather than gentrifying that history out of existence. With Melbas near by this strategy of improving on the past rather than replacing it is alive and well on Frederick Douglass in South Harlem. -
Review 27 (2020-10-20 - Rating: 4)
My bf & I came here after a session at the paint & pour located next door. I ordered chicken tacos & he got the lobster mac. My tacos were mediocre but the mac was delish! We also ordered a Brazilian drink in a bowl & I absolutely loved the aroma & taste. The outside setup was cute & safe. Our waitress was Brazilian & she was so attentive & upbeat. -
Review 28 (2020-11-12 - Rating: 5)
Great cocktails and food! Had a guava take on the penicillin that was fantastic as well as a smoked drink. The applewood smoke reminded me of bacon in a really good way. Both drinks were suggested by our server, and oth were great! The tacos were also very delicious. Nice and grilled tortillas with a super delicious jalapeño sauce. -
Review 29 (2018-03-01 - Rating: 5)
Intimate, great cocktails, great cocktail makers, Id rather be here than any similar place downtown. If its packed it can be slow because of the nature of the drinks, but theyre worth it. If its not packed, boy, what a place to get hammered. More fun on weeknights when it isnt as busy and you have less going-out-for-a-nice-night weekenders and more locals. -
Review 30 (2023-01-17 - Rating: 5)

We had a private event in the tiny downstairs room, which is very cool. Love the books down there, particularly. The service was a little confused, but the cocktails were great and the atmosphere was very nice, classic speakeasy cool. -
Review 33 (2018-09-09 - Rating: 5)
The drinks were amazing. And we got the fried calamari and it was the best ive had in a long time. The vibe was also so welcoming and chill. This was my first time there...but I will definitely be back. -

Review 35 (2017-02-28 - Rating: 4)
Cute as a button, and pretty good cocktails to boot. Drinks arent as good as when they first opened a few years ago, but I am hoping that it will bounce back. Even when the tiny space gets unbelievably crowded, the bartenders and host are gracious. -
Review 36 (2017-05-20 - Rating: 5)
Hands down, best cocktail bar in NYC. Almost afraid to share this rating because I dont want it overrun by tourist. Cocktails are amazingly artful and striking, yet well balanced. Delicious food too. -

Location: 67 ORANGE ST.*Cocktail Bar 2082 Frederick Douglas Blvd. NY, NYFirst of all, I love coming here… period lolIt’s a small intimate cocktail bar for a date or small group. They have a decent variety of foods for this type of bar but I usually come here for the drinks as they are thee experience. Well at least for meMy favorite drink is a Manhattan After Dark which consists of Cigar Smoked Woodford Reserve Bourbon, Benedictine, Fonseca Port, Domaine de Canton, Angostura Bitters and it’s strong! (The last drink in the video above) I love the hibiscus flower garnish you can eat, At this point I love all of their garnish aesthetic choices. So it’s clear this is one of my favorite bars🙌🏼✨ -

I found out about 67 Orange Street as it was highly rated as one of the best bars in Harlem and it lives up to the expectations.Although the decor isnt the best, the mixologists are friendly, the music is good, the venue is clean, and the drinks are strong. The prices are a little high but the drinks are definitely worth it. Will keep this place on my list of favorites! -

Super cocktail spot in Harlem. Staff are very friendly as well. The food is great, chicken fingers are yum. They have a cocktails with many options, takes a bit to decide, but most of what I’ve tried has been great. The music is perfect every-time. There s a couple of table s outdoor as well with some heating. Cheers! -
Review 48 (2019-07-25 - Rating: 5)
Amazing, great vibe, bartender did an amazing job for being the only one at the bar tending to many customers, and wore many hats, he was the DJ the mood setter, greeted us from the moment we walked in until the moment we walked out. Definitely recommend and plan to visit again -
Review 49 (2017-04-25 - Rating: 4)
Avoid sitting dowstairs! however the Alls Pear in Thyme Cocktail was very good (could have muddled and strained the thyme), and the crispy chicken sliders and chicken and waffles were flavorful and very crunchy. decent service -

Really awesome bar with surprisingly great food. I didnt have high expectations for the food since Ive seen many people put this on lists of great cocktail bars but it turns out they do both very well! Their cocktails are novel and tasty and their tacos were excellent. The service was a bit slow but I think it was just a very busy night. -

The cocktails and service were good! We got the spicy and salty, which was a delicious tequila drink. The hibiscus drink was a tad sweet for our taste. We loved sitting outside in the covered patio as we enjoyed the lovely end of summer weather in NY. -
Review 64 (2024-02-24 - Rating: 5)
This is THE spot for cocktails. I’ve brought so many different people (probably 20+ at this point) to 67 Orange Street and everyone has loved it. Drinks aren’t cheap, but they are delicious and strong. Personal faves are Kentucky Blossom, Smoky and Spicy, and Coco Meets Ginger. Atmosphere is really warm and intimate; bringing friends, dates, whoever, you can’t go wrong. -

Review 67 (2018-08-26 - Rating: 5)
A very nice bar. It is a cozy small place and you dont find that many tables inside (there are more seats downstairs). If youre there in the evening you can easily find seats at the bar, it can get busy later at night. We tried 5 different cocktails, each better than the previous. We asked the bartender to make us drinks as well, and we loved them. Would definitely recommend the place! -

Review 74 (2023-08-23 - Rating: 5)
Everything was perfect. The place is very small. The table seating is tight. The bar is better in my opinion to sit and eat. They have a small outdoor seating area in front. The Bartender is probably top 10 in the 5 boroughs, Drinks on point! I had 8 drinks and 2 appetizers for $230, between 2 people - 2 of those drinks were Black Label doubles but they were poured heavy. Great vibe, great music, great ambience -
Review 75 (2024-04-06 - Rating: 4)

The food here has absolutely no business being as good as it is. Its confusing to want to have a full good sit-down dinner at a place that also does amazing cocktails and a really lively environment. The wings, kale salad, and Brussels sprouts are the best dishes Ive had. -
Review 94 (2023-09-06 - Rating: 5)
Let’s talk about Harlem. There’s nothing like this spot. Every single local person knows this is it, if you want a cocktail there’s no where else to go. ngl, me leaving this review will piss my neighbors… we want this hidden. So I ask, if you aren’t a local pls leave a really decent tip. Shane is a talented mixologist, and Zoe? I haven’t felt cared for in this way in a very long time. -

Friends toook me here on a Saturday night for birthday drinks. Our waiter was so sweet. I wish I could remember her name. She was awesome. She had this short haircut with it dyed this turquoise blue very fitting in her. When she found out it was my birthday. She took care of me. She did a shot with me. They make really good drinks. The music was amazing. Vibe levels super high. Its a small place but the vibes and the atmosphere is on point. Highly recommend for a chill night out getting drinks with friends. -

My husband and I were in NYC last week and one of our first adventures was at 67 Orange Street. Let me say your staff knocked it out of the park. We couldnt have had a better experience. The cocktails were amazing, the staff welcoming and warm. I discovered that one of your staff was born in Barre, Vermont.....as am I. Talk about a small world. In addition, we had an opportunity to meet and chat with Pete Cawley, Ambassador for Copper Dog Whisky. It was an absolutely amazing evening and well definitely be back on our next visit to NYC. -

Its our favorite bar. EXTREMELY classy, well crafted cocktails - killer fried chicken (sliders), crispy fries, killer crunchy wings, excellent humans all around - its just the vibe you want to chill in and get a lil drunky. Ya know? Its solid ... Like ... Really good -

Step into this establishment and you are immediately taken over by a speakeasy vibe. The drinks are delicious, but definitely on the pricier side. Its very small, maybe seats 15 people total. Love the bartenders, they take real pride in making the drinks. As a matter of fact they are mixologists. -

Great cocktails and vibe!! I had the carribean mule during happy hour and it was delicious! Small spot but has additional seating downstairs. Be sure to pay close attention when looking for this location. If you blink you will miss it! Lol -

Amazing mixologists. Drinks were top notch at a reasonable price. The ambiance was great, but it was a tight spot. Felt like I was sitting with the table next to me. Even though its small, it was a great spot. Highly recommended. -

Some of the best cocktails in Harlem. The space is small yet if you can get a spot, definitely worth the visit. Highly recommend the burgers! -

Speakeasy style cocktail bar. Excellent vibe, modern pop art, hip hop. The bartenders are great, solid cocktail list and dont forget the large format cocktails. Recently started accepting plastic in addition to paper. -

Somehow every cocktail was made to perfection. There are only a handful of cocktail bars in New York who can do that. Get the color purple. You won’t regret it. -

Review 133 (2018-06-29 - Rating: 4)
The food and drinks are top notch. The service is inconsistent. Sometimes staff greets and welcomes you. Other times they seem annoyed that you are disturbing them. Get then when they have dedicated staff and youll be happy. But regardless they dont disappoint with what they bring to the table. Faves are crispy brussel sprouts and kale ceasar. -
Review 134 (2016-08-08 - Rating: 4)
A tiny speak easy that punches way above its weight. 67 Oranges menu and execution of cocktails is bar none and masterfully composed. 67 is a must stop for any serious survey of Manhattan prohibition era and post craft cocktails. The staff is friendly and the crowd mixed. The intimate space calls for solo sojourns and the smallest of groups only. Pros know to peep the back wall of the basement for the last few seats in the house. Minus a star as the once inspired menu and copious portions have taken an over fried over battered dip in quality most recently. Hopefully , its temporary... seek redemption in the parmesan shake truffle fries and the extensive drink menu. -

Arguably the best cocktail bar I know in NYC.. With a speakeasy vibe and a great food menu, too. The cocktails are on the pricy side, but delicious, and food-wise I recommend the brussell sprouts or the chicken and waffle. They have a convenient happy hour if you want to spend less ($8 cocktails) and dont mind the limited selection -

Review 147 (2013-02-28 - Rating: 4)
Excellent drinks. They are pricey. Yes. However you taste the skill behind the mixture. Its worth the experience. The food is simply amazing! Ive had everything and its always finger licking good, especially the Chicken Wings. Yum! The place is tiny but cozy, romantic, first-date, pre-party like. The music is always hip/cool. Youll never know its the bartenders ipod... -

Some of the best cocktails in the city. Seek service from a legend named Marcio. The bar pays homage to the first black only cocktail bar in New York, and is def one of my fav spots. Cocktails are genuinely fantastic and its worth the trek up.Its a speak easy, so look out for just the small 67 numbers outside.Beautiful!!! -

Review 153 (2018-01-09 - Rating: 5)
God, I love this place. This is the only speakeasy I know of north of 96th, but its still one of my favorites in the city. I havent had their food in ages, though, so I can only speak for their drinks. The bartenders are very professional, and offer menus bound between the covers of novels. Each page lists cocktails with different base spirits; I love the Alls Pear in Thyme (tequila) and the Manhattan After Dark (bourbon). The actual space is tiny, warm, and candelit, with a small bar and a few elevated tables. -
