The Interior decorator deserves a raise. It’s honestly stunning in here and a great spot for a 1st or 2nd date. Cocktails are fun and have some interesting aspects to them - love a sidecar for a martini.The food was the main let down. The duck rolls were good but small and the rest of the menu could use some work. Still, a great addition to the neighborhood.

One of the best bar experiences of our entire lives. The bartender, Dean, provided the best service we’ve received in New York and talked with us for hours - all whilst providing some of the best cocktails we’ve had. Lovely dim-lit bar with great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Bar Bonobo is a new addition to the sparse Chelsea bar scene. First things first, its a really nice looking space. With a long front bar area and intimate second bar/lounge in the back, it honestly feels too nice for the block.That being said the staff are nice and the bar had a young energetic crowd. The bar is still relatively new and it somewhat shows with the mixologists. The cocktails I tried were fine but compared to rest of the experience the drinks werent particularly balanced.All in all though Bar Bonobo is a solid bar with a high upside as it really gets going

Bar Bonobo has become my neighborhood go-to for drinks and socializing. Excellent crafted cocktails with the right amount of flair and a great spirits offering to match. Staff here are always warm and welcoming, the ambience is sexy but not too much so too outshine its elegance. Start the night with a martini and then ease into some of their specialties and you won’t be disappointed. On a busy strip of 8th Ave, Bar Bonobo is a must.

Drinks are great. Very well balanced. Liked the ambiance, the service and the staff as well. The only complaint is, the music is a bit too loud for conversations.

1. The wild mushroom flatbread is delicious.2. The atmosphere is great especially the back bar.3. Patricia (I think that was her name) is a gem and makes amazing drinks!In conclusion, get the wild mushroom flatbread, chill at the back bar, and have Patricia make your drinks.You won’t regret it !!

Sought refuge here in the rain. My friends and I found comfort in their delicious cocktails. Loved their Negroni sour, the pisco was just right. Staff was really attentive and nice. They made sure we had our umbrellas tucked away and that we were dry coming in. The atmosphere is cozy yet there’s enough space. Good addition to the neighborhood. Good luck!

A friend and I had a couple of their drinks that I would recommend, Santa on the Beach and the Big Apple were amazing. The food was decent, The Arinci could have used more marina and the salumi plate could have used some condiments such as spicy mustard or something as it was all meat with toast.The waitress and bartenders were amazing and great service. They were fun, engaging and really started the evening off great.If you show up when an influencer is in there, they will blind you with their spot lights as they wander the place multiple times and the manager will dismiss you for any comments around the influencer detracting from your experience. Next time I am there I will ask if an influencer will show up and if so, will turn around as they will be their priority for the evening instead, sadly.

My fiancé and I visited NYC for the first time a couple weeks ago and found our way here! Kennedy, our server could tell i was unsure about the menu and was extremely kind and patient despite being very busy. She recommended the banana hammock for me and corn star for my fiancé. It was perfect! She also recommended the flat breads and spinach dip so we tried those and loved them! Kennedy was awesome and we will for sure return to see her our next time in NYC!
