    I stayed here over Turkey Day and had breakfast/dinner throughout the weekend and service was always top notch. Food is very elevated with great combinations. Super fresh ingredients, flavourful and well seasoned! Would definitely recommend staying and trying their dishes and drinks.

    Lovely and busy hotel bar. We initially had dinner reservations here but had to cancel but enjoyed the bar area. Many trying to reserve a spot but had a long wait. Eager to come back during a non holiday time of year for dinner.

    I love the atmosphere in the bar room, we stayed at the hotel for 2 days, the first night around 10 pm, we wanted some drinks and food.We ordered1 dozen oysterschilled octopuswagyu tartareUpsidedown pineapple cake(I forgot the exact the name was)Drinks were good, friendly staff.Everything is amazing!!!

    Best after work venue in FiDi. Our servers, Jason and Beatrix, were amazing - so chill and funny. The drinks and dishes were delicious. The well photographed optical illusion was a feast to the eyes. The library / sitting room atmosphere was comfortable, lively and not pretentious.It many ways, Bar Room is better than Temple Court.

    I come here for every special occasion and somehow just end up here on a late night when I want a drink. Staff is amazing and the food is spectacular me and my girlfriend have had some very great and memorable nights here

    We came to the Beekman Bar Room for the first stop of my girlfriends birthday weekend world tour, as it is the most beautiful setting for a restaurant I have been to in NYC.We were seated in the middle of the atrium in huge lounge-like chairs that I would expect to be in my grandpas house. After trying to get comfortable in these odd chairs for such a classy setting, I finally settled in and scanned my surroundings.Looking down on us were floors of venetian architecture stacked up on each other as far up as you can see, with a skylight at the top to tie them together. It has an authentic 70s New York feel to it.Around us were foreign hotel guests, finance bros, and some pretty cute couples all dressed classy as hell. Thats one of my favorite things about this place, how classy everyone dresses. Youd be wildly underdressed here in jeans and a tshirt, and I love that. I miss when nicer places had dress codes, idk.I ordered a vesper, as I had just gotten a new suit jacket from Marshalls and I was feeling like James Bond in this setting. I just felt cool ordering it. Oh yeah just a *vesper* for me... just all casual and nonchalant.I know you dont care and Im getting off track here, but the Marshall’s suit jacket had been marked down to $60, with the original price being $300. Honestly, they could just be making that original price up. Im such an easy get with that. Sometimes I just want to feel like I won...My Vesper did the trick and I felt like 007, especially with my baby looking FIRE. We ordered Shishito Peppers ($21), 6 oysters ($25), Waygu Burger ($33), Hanger Steak ($39).When those shishito peppers came I couldnt help but laugh as they should have been $7 for that portion. $21 is CRAZY for some peppers. The food was decent, but honestly just a little uninspired. Nothing was bad per se, but nothing is making me want to WRITE. You feel me?Ill just leave you with the Beekman Bar Room is the PERFECT place in NYC to dress up a little bit, grab a few cocktails and order a side of the fingerling potatoes.     This place has been on my go-to list, and I was happy to be able to finally go!My friend and I made a reservation to go at 2PM on a Sunday, and the place was decently busy. There’s an actual bar for those who probably walk in, but the area has a decent amount of seating.The area was gorgeous, with an atrium that allows a lot of natural light to pour in. The bookshelves and lounge style seats gave a comfy and cozy vibe, which makes this place a great space to meet up and chat with friends!We just ordered cocktails, my friend getting the 6PM Osaka, and I the Jessica Presaler. Both were fruity and delicious, and came in cute glasses!Just a side note, even if you reserve seating in the non-bar area, it seems the staff is ok with you just ordering a cocktail! I know some places have a minimum, or require to order food, but not here, which is nice! It seems less formal than its appearance, I even saw someone doing work on her laptop there.Definitely swing by this place and enjoy its ambiance! The architecture is so unique and pretty, and it really makes you feel like you’re in another world.

    Nice cozy place. Drinks were good but the cocktail menu wasn’t very extensive. I think I’d go back to try more drinks and the food. Best to make a reservation because it usually gets filled up on weekends!

    We had An amazing anniversary cocktail hour at the bar room. They were so sweet and sat us in front of the beautiful Christmas tree. They wrote us the cutest card and made us feel very special!

    Incredible location with unique architecture. Loved the thought that went into this place. Staff seemed pretty overwhelmed and the reservations were pretty unorganized. Our food and drinks were great!

    Popped by for a light bite and a cocktail, and so happy that we did. I will be absolutely come back just to have another “John J. Fitzgerald” in the stunning atmosphere. Service was fantastic, we felt every one of our needs were anticipated before we could ask. 10/10!

    The highlight was the roasted salmon. The arugula salad was fresh, and the pineapple upside-down cake was good; I liked that they warmed it up a little. Our servers name was Jesus, and the service was heavenly. The place is perfect for a first date or to go solo and sit with a book; the vibes are cozy/elegant without being too fancy. Ill definitely be coming back

    I had a reservation at temple court for dinner but grabbed a drink at the bar room before heading in. The bar tender was so knowledgeable and made me a great espresso martini. I thought I had made a reservation for the bar room but it’s a different menu than temple court. I will be back to try their seafood!

    Incredible service and heartfelt care!I recently visited the Bar Room at The Beekman Hotel in New York, and I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional atmosphere and outstanding service. My husband and I were enjoying a lovely evening—he had a non-alcoholic drink, and I had a tea. We were waiting for a table to have dinner when, unfortunately, I experienced a sudden fainting spell.The staff responded immediately and with the utmost professionalism. They asked if there was a doctor among the guests and called for an ambulance without hesitation. I would particularly like to highlight the care and kindness of Katie (I hope I remembered her name correctly). She stayed by my side the entire time, calming me down and making me feel cared for in such a stressful moment. Even before the incident, I had noticed her remarkable demeanor—she had handled a conversation with a guest next to me at the bar with such grace and warmth.I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Katie and the entire team at the Bar Room for their extraordinary compassion and attentiveness. You truly made a difficult moment much easier, and your level of service is second to none.I am very much looking forward to returning soon so I can finally enjoy the food as well—Im sure it will be as exceptional as everything else!

    This is a beautiful bar! I love the decor, lighting, and most of all the gorgeous view. It’s at the bottom of a stunning atrium in the Beekman hotel (I recommend looking at the photos for more context). It has a chic but welcoming ambience and decor and the acoustics are great. The service is fantastic too. My bartender Pape was friendly, knowledgeable, and charming and made me a delicious cocktail! This is a great place for after work drinks or a date!

    Very upscale, old school bar at the center of historical Downtown Manhattan. I had no opportunity to dine there, as we stopped by just for drinks, but even at the bar, you will get first notch experience of this elegant and classy atmosphere. The drinks were good too.It seems that they have a very comprehensive menu as well, I definitely will try it n3xt time I am there.

    The waiter lost my credit card, without any apology lol.Love the interior and vibe! Its one of the kind bar that i want re-visit afterwork to get a drink. I love the cocktails. Seatings and tables are not comfortable for dining.

    If you walk-in you might or might not find a seat at the bar as it’s first come first serve and if you want a table it’s better to make reservation first so you don’t need to wait around 30 mins for them to get you a table. With that being said, the food is great as well as the drinks. Chill vibes, highly recommend!

    Classic New York bar scene in all the best ways. Cold, delicious martinis served in frosted coupes, thick cut steak fries, and meaty steaks and salmon to fill hunger pangs that come with a buzz. Nicole was our server, and she is fantastic. So kind and attentive. Definitely will be coming back!! A quintessential New York bar experience.

    The staff and hostess made our Anniversary dinner special. We received a warming card from the staff. It meant a lot to us that the team put a personalized touch to our night. The place itself is gorgeous. Staff was attentive to our table and order. The food was what we expected. Delicious!! The drinks were exceptional. They were well balanced. We will be returning in the future with a larger party.

    The atmosphere has a nice warmth to it even though it’s a higher end spot which I love . The interior design is really well done and the staff was nice . I’d go back in a heartbeat . Good size bar and the leather stools have very nice backs on them . Nice touch . There are also lots of variations for seating other than bar making for a long comfortable stay if you’d like . Loads of drink options complete with several creative spirit free mock tails.
