Some very good cocktails in this hidden bar. First time we wanted to visit we accidentally went to the bar next door. The setting is nice, music is good... Not too crowded, and happy hour between 5PM and 9PM. Compliments to the staff! We visited twice, but might go there tomorrow for a final visit =)

Cool speakeasy bar even though it was fairly obviously what was going on behind the art gallery - the entrance had a door handle and you could ear the beats (which were great) before you entered. Inside is cool with high unfinished ceilings and there were a lot of Halloween decor. Atmosphere was 5 of 5 until so many people came in at one time - it was a little claustrophobic for a bit.

Went to Fig. 19 for some drinks with my friends, and we were all so surprised and delighted by its presence. The secret entrance was awesome!! Definitely hiked up the enjoyment of our experience going here. I got a specialty cocktail (The Prince) and my friends both got a French cider. Overall, the bar can be pricey, but based on the location, its not that bad for a specialty cocktail bar.I would bring more friends for a good time here. Its a fun place with a dark, but comfortable atmosphere, and the drinks are awesome!

Great little speakeasy with interesting drinks and a cozy interior. Pretty dimly lit and a small seating area (you might have to push a few tables together to get a large group in). Entrance is behind an “art gallery” but the gallery might be devoid of art depending on when you go- in which case it’ll look like an empty room under construction. I suppose it would be a pretty good place for a date since it’ll look exclusive and insider. I would say the cocktails are actually decent, and a bit on the sweet side if you order anything with wine.

My first speakeasy experience and it went great! It was in an art gallery and not that hidden…you opened a door and then bam there was Fig 19. I fell in love with the decor and the drinks looked great. My bartender was sweet and had knowledge about the drinks so she steered me into the perfect cocktail choice for myself. The music was alright and the bathrooms were clean which is always a plus! I definitely can’t wait to come back and have a few more drinks.

This is the best place to come for your first speakeasy experience. This was my first time coming to one of these and loved it. The bartender, Jason, is amazing. The drinks he makes are top notch. The signature cocktails are lovely. I learned a lot of about cocktails and new liquors from Jason. It was an education overall. The art gallery entrance is also very cool. The door entering looks like a closet. The bar is a great place for a date or for having a private conversation. The wine selection is unique. I love wines the from Croatia and Slovakia. The orange wine was tasty and different. Excellent overall.

I was in love the moment I stepped through the... Painting. Two of my friends brought me here. I had no clue where they were taking me, but Im glad I went along for the ride. We stepped into what seemed like an ordinary art gallery. I was nervous because it seemed that the placed was shut down for the night and Im not into nefarious activity that might put priceless art in jeopardy. As I respectfully started to admire the art (thinking thats what we were doing for the evening), someone opens a door into this Beautiful Speakeasy.The decor is clean, classic and classy simultaneously. Where one might question function, there still presents aesthetic (e.g. the candles in place of a full flame in the fireplace). I found myself staring at the elongated chandeliers between sips. The detail continues into the restrooms (How many venues could you say that about?).Maybe you dont care for the decor. Thats ok because the cocktails are expertly mixed. That is not a cliché. Watch your bartender as they precisely, mix, blend and pour with precision before taking that first sip. Youll appreciate it that much more. Then relax and stare at the chandelier while contemplating lifes many intricacies.Bottomline: Go! ... I recommend a Thursday night though, maybe with a date. I heard it gets a little crowded on the weekends, but dont take my word for it.

If you can find some neon lights, theres a decent chance youre walking into the right gallery and the Entrance for the Fig 19 is in the back corner.My friends were running late, and they were able to accommodate me being there while I waited for them... The whole time, I was vibing really well with the atmosphere, from the music to the staff. I even got 2 drinks in before my friends were able to make it in. All the drinks were delicious, not too strong but perfectly balanced.There isnt any food options here, so be prepared to grab dinner at another spot. Cute speakeasy behind an art gallery in Chinatown. I ordered the Rose Selavy (I cant remember what my date ordered), but neither of our drinks was amazing. For the second round we asked the bartender to surprise us, and whatever she made was absolutely fantastic. I cant recall exactly what was in it but it was pinneaple based. We got there at 7pm on a Tuesday and had the entire bar to ourselves, pretty much until we left at 8:30 when it finally filled up. Good spot for a first date.

I have been to this place twice, both times the drinks have always been amazing. They use simple ingredients in creative ways! It can get very busy later in the nights so try to come early to get a seat at the bar and enough of personal space to have a conversation! It has a great entrance through an art gallery that rotates actual art exhibitions so I am always learning about new artists on my way in! Definitely would recommend.

The cocktail menu is fantastic, and has something for everyone. The bartenders are super friendly and very skilled at their craft. When the bar is not crowded they play good music at a volume reasonable enough to support conversation. I really cant say enough good things about this place. Give it a try.

This hidden bar has an amazing vibe with some solid bartenders and bouncers. The bar is hidden inside a secret door in the lobby of a building. Once you are in you are greeted with a comfortable bar with some dancing area and good music. The drinks were well prepared and priced right. If you are looking for a different scene... exit the speakeasy go outside, turn left and there is a downstairs portion where everyone is jumping grinding and screaming -- same bar completely different vibe. I highly recommend this place -- excellent reinterpretation of a speak easy.

Went here to dance with a group of friends and it was fun. The DJ played trap music and it was a lot of fun but after a bit I wanted more variety with reggae and afrobeats. The ambience is nothing special, some chandeliers and skulls trying to evoke a secretive/occult room/feel but it felt a bit contrived.

A nice secret bar only for people in the know. This cozy speakeasy-type bar offers cool drinks and a relatively quiet atmosphere to bring a date or gather with a few friends. The coolest thing about this place is that you have to walk in through an art gallery, but the only way the bouncer will let you in is if you say the name of the bar you are going to and act like youve been there before, as there are no signs outside.

We did the speakeasy tour, and Elad, the bartender at Fig 19, was by far, the best bartender we had. He actually talked to us about what we like and dont like and adjusted our cocktails based on that. Best bartender tonight!

Tucked away in the broom closet of an art gallery, Fig. 19 boasts some of the best craftsmen to grace a bar. Housemade twists (lavendar syrup for a vodka-soda, for example) give grace and distinction to well-made cocktails from their standard menu. For a true treat, ask the bartender to make you something special. They never run out of incredible suggestions and every drink is delicious. Also a great indication of a special party or event, should you be in-the-know.
