The Happy Hour Oyster special: 12/$18 was fantastic! The oysters were well shucked, cold, fresh and came with a classic mignonette and a cocktail sauce with a little twist to it.The shrimp cocktail were big, beautifully cooked, tasty shrimp- not over cooked, just right. The whipped codfish brandade dip with pumpernickel toast was awesome! It was creamy, smooth, and not salty. The clams casino were seasoned well and delicious! I wanted to order more of everything. The clams in sauce were also delicious but not as good as the other items we ordered (to me).My absolute favorite thing was the bread pudding with brown butter pecans and that sauce with a hint of orange- wow!! I rarely think dessert at restaurants is worth going back for, but that bread pudding will be drawing me back sooner than later. It’s not often my husband and I love the same dessert… this bread pudding was right up there with Grace Street’s Basque Cheesecake. Bravo Chef, Bravo!The waitstaff were very friendly and attentive. The vibe was great, the tables/seating were comfortable and spaced out. The music was excellent but maybe a tad loud. Like others have noted, the acoustics aren’t great when the place gets packed, especially with the music up a tad too high.Overall, a great place to catch up with friends and grab a tasty bite. Don’t forget to take advantage of their Happy Hour!Looking forward to going back again soon.

This place for happy hour is a steal! We ordered 3 dozen oysters and it was finally satisfying. Never do I feel I get enough oysters but this was plenty.Very nice atmosphere and service was good.

Favorite restaurant in the city. i’ve brought so many friends and family here just because i love it that much. their happy hour is the best in the city. i usually get the oysters, clams and a dirty martini. you can’t beat the price. i’ve had everything on their menu and anything you get on there is great. my boyfriend usually gets one of the sandwiches because they’re so filling. their cocktails are some of my favorites in the city too. agave blues and the repping time cocktails are two of my favs. they have the NICEST staff, hands down. if you’re in the east village please do yourself a favor and go here.

I was there for the first time for Christmas, had some beers and appetizers. Andy and eguardo were working; both very nice and welcoming. The Borquenores Tartine was absolutely perfect 😍I came a second time and ordered the steak tartar. Amazing again

Really love this place! Been coming here for 2 years now. They really make you feel welcome. Fresh oysters. Great wine and beer selection. Classic decor. The doorman was very friendly and got us seated right away and even took our order. Cool busy vibe but not oppressive. Great place for a date but also late night oysters after work. Glad they are still doing well after Covid. Dress to impress and be polite!

I went here with the team after work and really enjoyed my time here. I particularly liked the Block Island Style Crab Dip. This came with a side of lemon and crackers. It was super light, savory, and filling. This restaurant had good, fast service. I only wish they had more seating options for bigger groups. I group of ~10 had to combine a few tables for seating and even that was a little too cozy. Something to keep in mind if you have a bigger group.

Three of us had a pre-theater dinner at this very cozy corner bar/restaurant. Heavily oyster - centric, there were enough sandwiches on the menu to satisfy the two of us that werent into oysters. And, I have to say, the roast pork sandwich I had was really delicious. There was a decent list of canned beers, and a few draft beers. If youre into oysters the 5 to 7 happy hour specials definitely make this place a hit.

An awesome spot for Happy Hour!!! $1 oysters and $4 Schofferhofer grapefruit beers...cant beat that! The best part is that you can select any kind of oyster from their menu, unlike other spots that usually have only one type of oysters included in the Happy Hour. Good service, small space, so if youve got a large crowd it may be hard to accommodate. Well be back!

Cant beat the happy hour pricing. Its not quite as cheap as pre-pandemic levels however a dozen oysters of differing varieties for $15 is still a hell of a deal in NYC, as is $5 for any draft beer. We were a party of 5 and after being turned down by Angels Share due to them not able to accommodate such a big party, we walked over to this place by chance. The place had nice vibes and ambiance and I highly recommend sitting by the windows during summer days cause its way better. After sunset the bar was lit only by candles and it was pretty romantic. I had 4 oyster shoots and thats how Im going to have my tequila from now on. The oysters were really fresh and the whole thing cost only $11.

Food is banging, bartenders and really nice and know what they are doing. I go here specially for the oysters which are the best you can find in the area. $1 for happy hour. Just get there early or you’ll be standing. Also try the tecate all the way.

I absolutely love this place.Came here for some drinks, but couldnt leave without having a dozen oysters. They were absolutely fresh and tasty! They have the biggest oyster menu ive seen. Lots of selection to choose from. We asked our waitress for help and she recommended some great oysters!I like the concept of telling the bartender a flavor or alcohol you like and hell wipe up a drink for you. I asked for sour and tequila and the result was a great citrus and orange flavored drink!Great atmosphere, great drinks and top notch oysters!

Great local upscale quaint bar in East Village. The bartenders are great and make superb drinks. Its a bit pricey, but thats what to expect as this is an upscale bar with a great atmosphere. They open the windows during the summer, which is a plus.

Great bar in the East Village. Small, intimate, dimly lit. It may have a romantic vibe to it, but it gets pretty boisterous in there, so its better with a group of friends. The owners injected a sense of cool into what seemed a generic bar.

Awsome food and drinks. But happy hour isnt so happy. The only drinks that are on sale are margaritas and I cant remember the other one (only like 2 or 3 drinks), well drinks are regular price. But they have $1 oysters which is always a plus
