    First time attending the haunted soirée and we loved it! It gave us a chance to dress up for Halloween and enjoy date night. We opted for the silver package which entails 2 hour performance and 5 strong drinks which made the night even better. Highly recommend if you are looking for something fun/spooky to do.

    My wife and I had a blast at the House of Spirits! It was our first time visiting a haunted house and it exceeded my expectations. The ambiance of the mansion was perfect. As you check in youre given your wristband which contains your drink tickets and directed to the library/lounge area for a spooky briefing. After that youre on your own to roam around and be entertained. The best part for us had to be the maze at the top level. Id advise heading straight there and getting that out of the way before a line forms, but be prepared! After that theres a haunted scavenger hunt which is very creepy. Theres themed rooms on each level where you can get cocktails, theres 5 different drink booths each with a different cocktail. I must say The Romanov was very delicious, this was easily our favorite cocktail. In each room there were also interesting performances, the performance with the actress holding a James Dean portrait stole the show! After youre done theres a nice lounge where you can hang out and have more drinks if you choose. Overall this was a fantastic experience, all of the actors and actresses did a wonderful job. The drinks were great and the thrills were abundant. I highly recommend this place. It was definitely worth it.

    The overall experience was great. The actors were amazing! The cocktails were good. There was a lot going on and at times it was confusing. It was part solve a mystery, part spook house, part cocktail hour, part live entertainment. To take advantage of the event it really important to talk to the actors to get clues to solve the mystery. Be forewarned there are a lot of stairs! There is an elevator its old and you have to have permission and a staff member to ride it. There is also no elevator to the attic. There was some confusion amongst staff with our check in. We checked in early and didnt receive our group assignment and were not directed to the lounge we ended up waiting in the lobby for 30 minutes before we figured out that the lounge was open. Then had to go get our group assignment because we didnt receive one. Like I said it was overall a fun experience definitely something different.

    Awesome adult night out!! Atmosphere was fantastic, including the actual building, costumes, and decore. Highly recommend doing this!! The only reason for 4 stars is because the story was difficult to follow so I stopped caring about it and just enjoyed the experience.

    2nd year in a row and had an amazing time again with my wife. Come early and make sure to interact with all the ghosts to follow the story. The drinks were great, as were the chocolate truffles. Decent scares, but not too bad for those not used to more intense experiences. Super fun!

    This place was awesome! Im not even the biggest Halloween fan but I had such a good time. The actors were phenomenal, the decorations were amazing, I highly highly recommend this experience. I splurged for the 5 cocktails paired with truffles and all of them were so delicious. Me and my partner greatly enjoyed, cannot recommend enough.

    My sister and I attended a Sunday, 3:30 event on the 22nd. This was our first time at house of spirits and we have never done anything “spooky” for Halloween so we didn’t know what to expect. This event did not disappoint.The best cocktails were the bourbon, tequila, and vodka. Although the drinks weren’t filled all the way to the top, we felt them! There was never a line for drinks when we wanted one.I recommend talking to as many of the actors as possible so you can get the full story. Theres a secret room you can enter by talking to one of the actors. We only spoke to 3 actors but put the story together by talking to other guests, the theatre show (which was great but they need better sound equipment) and by the QR code you get at the end.The interactive rooms were the best ! The maze and the monster one were my favorites. The maze was scary for a punk like me and the other interactive room had the best actors in there. We had a lot of fun joking around with them even though they stayed in character. The séance room was my least favorite and felt like it could have been better.Overall it was a fun night and I would attend next year. I recommend buying a midday show to avoid the crowds and not buying one so close to Halloween. I hope to see the sound equipment for the theatre get upgraded and for a different theme next year.

    Took a few friends to this last year- it was a really fun and extremely entertaining event! The drinks that came with the ticket were SO good, and having the drink stations in different rooms was a great way to get people circulating throughout the house. The events on each floor were creative and interesting and I loved the costumes. I will say that I thought the attic room/finale was a bit anticlimactic compared to some of the other rooms, considering it was meant to be the scariest part of the house, but overall the event gets five stars from me. I would definitely go again.

    Celebrated Halloween at House of Spirits and was not disappointed. The actors were amazing and trying to discovery the story while drinking cocktails was great fun. Also all the shows and activities made it even more of a unique experience. Never been to anything like it but I want to go again. Only downside was the amount of people. A bit crowded. It took away from the soiree feeling. Also could have used another hour. But all in all definitely recommends it.

    The negative reviews are so lame. I went with my boyfriend and best friend and we had a BLAST. It was the perfect amount of spooky, funny, and scary! We had our few screams and jump scares but there were also places to hangout that were not as scary. It was a little crowded but guys this is NYC. If you are bothered by a lot of people, this ain’t your city honey. I thought the mini cocktails were tasty and fun. Loved the souvenir glass at the end since we bought VIP tickets.

    This was a lot of fun! Great costumes and makeup, the actors seemed like they were having a great time. There were a few elements that I think could have been a bit better executed like the maze - compared to everything else it seemed very low budget. It was also very crowded and you had to wait in line to get to each of the main draws of each floor of the mansion. The drinks were great though, and overall it was quite fun.

    I recommend trying this event for yourself. Its sexy and mystical all in one package. Guests are encouraged to dress up and it makes the scene that much better. This place isnt “scary” but more of a social haunted attraction. You get four mini drinks and different entertainment throughout the four floors. Drinks are: Gin & Elderflower mix, Whiskey & Apple Cider, and two Vodka mixed drinks.Doors open 45min before your ticket time, so i do recommend going early. They start you off downstairs at the cash bar. We grabbed a drink there before heading up, but it’s not necessary. Pro tip: head straight to the fourth floor for the “maze” and work your way down. Try to avoid spending your time on lines. Third floor had a story telling room that didnt catch our attention, and a mini ballet dance that was really nice. Second floor had a ouija board screen and on the other side a mini live music sessions (caught a violin act and a guitar act). You get to the “attic” via the third floor. That was supposed to be the scariest attraction. It was interesting, but ended abruptly. Overall my friends and I enjoyed it.

    I loved this Haunted Soiree. It was a great mix of horror, beauty, and fun. They have multiple activities that will peek your interest and cocktails that are delicious. I had such a great time and I know you will, too! Just be sure to dress for the occasion.

    If you love Halloween like I do, you will love The House of Spirits. There are 3 floors and really cool haunted happenings going on. They had a bar set up on each floor. You dont have to wear a costume but I always dress up for Halloween. Great photo opportunities. Also a giant Ouija board that you can ask questions. I had a great time!🦇🖤💀

    Cool place! Worth the price in my opinion (purchased the VIP). Perhaps the venue should look into upping the VIP ticket price or limiting the quantity sold because essentially half of the crowd was VIP so its not like you were really skipping much of a line.You definitely feel entertained for the full two hours and the drinks are good (and certainly not watered down). I dont think the chocolate package is really all that worth it, but my boyfriend liked it. So I guess its just up to personal preference!The actors are very talented and engaging. We had a really great time. Id definitely come back

    I went with two friends and we hadn’t known at all what to expect. It was really fun going here and interacting with the actors and trying to figure out the story with my friends.     The soiree served delicious cocktails- I loved the bourbon cider. I even had one drink served by a beautiful acrobat spinning from a cyr wheel upside down! The unique art performances (random dancers turned a man into the devil and then killed him; and a burlesque dancer with a puppet) and musical numbers (devil horned pianist; haunted violinist; and a sexy Victorian bird singer) throughout the manor were wonderfully bizarre and visually appealing. The spooky rooms (seance) and challenges (monster maze) were entertaining and fun. The ghostly inhabitants of the manor were fun to converse with and the guests were all tastefully and elaborately dressed. It was a perfect adult themed Halloween party!

    Best time ever! Scary, evocative, interactive, elegant. It was the best Halloween event Ive ever been to. Actors are terrific, costumes amazing. Dress up and enjoy the delicious cocktails as you look over your shoulder for the next thing to creep you out.

    The House of Spirits event in NYC was an awesome experience. I loved the location in a beautiful mansion in the financial district. The actors and staff were on point. Creepy characters great costumes and rooms with attention to detail. It was done very well. Cocktails at the purchase bar were delish (one was way too spicy for us) but staff was happy to offer another drink instead at the ticketed bar so that was appreciated. I didn’t see anyplace to purchase food but we weren’t looking as we ate prior to the event. I only wish that each plot was dictated by a spirit after the introduction room was finished instead of having to read a synopsis to then find clues. We wanted to get to exploring the atmosphere and with drinking in costume reading each characters background was a bit too long (plus it’s a dark lighted atmosphere, but was expected). The amount of people allowed to each event session was perfect. I really enjoyed the adult only experience and we love the supernatural things that come with this festive season. I would definitely do it again because it’s a different plot each time. Bottom line, if you enjoy spooky adult fun it’s a great time!! Happy Hauntings!!

    Ive tried to describe this experience a few times to friends, and the best I can come up with is interactive theater, with drinks-and scares! The event takes up an entire building which even un-decorated is the perfect setting for a ghost story, which is essentially what you are immersing yourself in for 2 hours. You explore the rooms, enjoy your cocktails, and interrogate the many ghosts wandering around for answers to what happened to the good Dr. Volkov that made everything suddenly change. There are enough activities within the experience to keep things fresh, including a classic haunted house, and the cocktails are delicious. I cannot recommend it enough!

    Was a little hard to get to, but was able to find free parking on the street. If you can afford to take a Lift, or an Uber, or taxi it may have been easier. But all in all, had a great time. Cant wait for next year!!

The venue is an old mansion with multiple rooms, and each room has a different cocktail with an assortment of entertainment (dancers, moving wall-sized ouija board, haunted maze in the attic, etc.). Definitely worth the cost of admission, so book tickets early for the best price. A fun Halloween-themed party youre sure to remember!

    Last year my 2 besties & I went to House of Spirits & we had an AMAZING time. I hadnt been out in a while due to Covid, so it was so nice to do something fun. The costumes & storyline were perfection. We enjoyed the other attendees, the staff & the drinks. We will definitely be back!!!

    My boyfriend and I went for the first time last year 2021. And we had the best time ever. He’s not really into Halloween or spooky stuff but he said he didn’t expect to have as much fun as he did. We both look forward to going again this year!
