Made a pit stop at Kabin to escape the Winter elements of NYC. It was a wonderful respite from the cold.A Nordic themed menu with a beautiful, clean aesthetic to the space. The energy was great among customers and the bartenders were pumping out drinks efficiently.The cocktails utilize interesting ingredients while remaining familiar. Would love to come back to check out the food.A must stop west of Soho if you want to escape the huge crowds and enjoy a high level concoction.

Awesome bar, really enjoyed the Scandinavian vibes! The cocktails were excellent, didn’t get a chance to try any of the small plates, but definitely worth a visit back to try them. Great atmosphere, very much felt like we were back in Iceland. The bartenders were great as well, knowledgeable, were able to help us navigate the cocktail variations.

Loved this Scandinavian cocktail bar! They have amazing balanced cocktails, great atmosphere and delicious bites! I tried their cocktail called Lyst and it was amazing. They also have a non-alcoholic cocktails selection which was fairly large. We ordered three of their bites and it was enough food for two people who were medium hungry. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the bites!

I haven’t had Nordic food/flavors too often so I was pretty excited about this bar from what I saw on social media. Immediately walking in, I loved how dark the furnishings were. Super different from what I’ve experienced at other NYC bars.These were my favorite drinks:Xandra: a whiskey based drink with elderflower, fennel, honey, jasmine green tea, and absinthe. Its served with candy coated fennel seeds meant to highlight the flavors of the absinthe. It worked for me and it was my favorite of the night!Oslø: an old fashioned? with cloudberry and cardamom. I love cardamom and this drink was very cardamom forward. Id come back for this as well.Lillesand: a gin and tonic drink flavored with lingonberry and cherry. Super easy to drink.Klar: a coconut milk clarified mezcal drink with lemongrass, juniper, and pineapple. To be honest, I didnt really taste any lemongrass and juniper, but I love coconut milk clarified drinks so this was a hit for me.While these were my favorite, I genuinely liked all the them.For food, I just got the baguette with seaweed butter. I love seaweed compound butter so naturally, I liked this as well HAHA I plan on trying the more food once the full menu is available.Service was great. Attentive and friendly. The bartenders were fun and talked to us about our favorite bars in the city.Overall, I can see myself becoming a regular here. Creative drinks, stylish space with dark furnishings, great vibes and friendly bartenders!

My favorite cocktail bar in the city! I love trying new drinks, and this entire menu is comprised of truly unique and interesting flavors (and so many creative NA options!!). The food menu has great vegetarian options and goes way beyond the basics of most cocktail bars. The staff are lovely, the ambiance is gorgeous, but its really the drinks that set this place apart from anywhere else.

Kabin is such a gem in the city! Stopped by for dinner and was blown away by the food. The tostada was unreal—crispy, fresh, and loaded with flavor. Also, you have to try the seaweed butter with toast, it’s next-level. Ended the night with a tequila martini that was super smooth. The vibe here is chill but the food is on point. Definatly coming back!

Cute new addition to the neighborhood - just had one snakey experience that I didn’t appreciate. The happy hour is great (1/2 off wine bottles!) but the tip was on the pre-discounted bottle and wasn’t properly disclosed. Not a huge issue but just something to note

To say I’m a bit obsessed with this place would be an understatement. The vibes are sublime, the drinks are delicious and the staff is wonderful. I’m a sucker for a craft cocktail and their menu is unique with adventurous takes on classics. To top it off the playlists are always what you need after a long day in the office and an even longer week.Edit: There were some changes made recently that negatively impacted the staff and thus the atmosphere, thus my opinion of the bar has changed, and my obsession has waned, unfortunately. The cocktails are still wonderful, but I had to decrease my rating.

Absolutely love going to KABIN. The drinks are fantastic and the bartenders and hosts are so welcoming. It’s also right across from Paul’s Casablanca so it’s a great pregame spot but I also love going there during the day / happy hour. Love KABIN! Will be back soon!!

The most beautiful venue with kind and caring team! We had a private event here and it was special.Props to the owner Alex, who is very hands on, Andi the manager, and everyone behind the bar. Venue itself is chic and fun.Hard to find this level of hospitality in New York. They opened recently so I can only hope they keep this up as they become an NYC wide known spot.

I recently visited KABIN for drinks and dinner, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The ambiance is cozy yet chic, with its Nordic-inspired décor that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a stylish cabin retreat. The highlight for me was the orange wine – such a unique and refreshing option! I also tried the hotdog, which was far from ordinary, packed with bold flavors and perfectly prepared. Overall, a great spot for a relaxed evening with amazing drinks and food. Highly recommend!

I give 5 ⭐️ plus for Kabin! We hosted our children’s engagement party there this weekend, and Alex the owner was INCREDIBLE! The staff was amazing, service perfection, and the place is upscale and chic. Our guests had the best time, and I can’t thank them enough for helping facilitate our beautiful event. Can’t wait to go back!

LOVED IT! It is a beautiful place, and the drinks and food were outstanding. Im a tequila drinker, and the Skravla and Klar were terrific, as were the Norwegian waffles and caviar, whitefish spread, and East Coast oysters. We cant wait to go back.

Amazing ambience + drinks - feels like youve been transported to Norway! The variety of cocktail options is nothing like any other cocktail bar ive been to in the city (unique flavors, amazing combinations and beautiful presentation !). Staff is also incredibly attentive and knowledgeable on the menu :) will definitely be my new go-to cocktail bar!

Amazing ambiance! The drinks are outstanding and truly original as they use and mix fresh Nordic ingredients such as cloudberry, aquavit, lingonberry and herbs with other well known spirits and mixers. So well balanced. Their small bites are wonderful and the white fish spread is great. But best of all is the Norwegian waffle with herbed crème fraiche and kaluga caviar! A perfectly elegant but also cozy hang out.

It’s the kind of place where you can easily lose track of time while enjoying great company and even better drinks.Speaking of drinks, the cocktail menu at Kabin is nothing short of exceptional. I highly recommend trying the KOLIO—a beautifully balanced mix of aquavit, tequila, manzanilla, benedictine, herbal liqueur, and bitters, with a touch of saline. It’s a complex and intriguing drink that truly stands out.For a group experience, the KOS is an excellent option, offering a choice of house-infused spirits with tonic. We tried Option 3—bourbon with earl grey, orange peel, coriander, and local honey—and it was simply divine.What makes Kabin even more special is the exceptional service. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. They made us feel right at home and offered great recommendations that perfectly matched our tastes.

An incredible and much needed gem in Hudson Square! The Danish hot dog is a must and the hasselback potatoes are so beautifully crafted that you almost don’t want to eat them (but are even happier once you do).For drinks, the Kolio is an obvious must but don’t sleep on the Sno.
