Ive had Ms. Yoo on my list for a while so was super excited to try! We came here at 6pm on a Friday and I was a bit surprised it was quite empty. When we got there, we were the only patrons there and during our time, 2 other parties came. Perhaps it has more of a late night crowd?The service was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and kind. There was also a live DJ at the barWe arrived in time for happy hour and we thought overall the HH was a great deal.For food we got:- Yoo loaded fries: good!- Kpop chicken sliders: the sauce was sooooo good. The chicken pieces were quite thick!- Tteok n cheese (I think large?): It was good but I probably wouldnt order it again. seems a bit over priced, even at HH prices- Volcano kimchi fried rice: quite the table side show. It was good (but is it worth $17?)For drinks we got (I am not quite certain of this list): stairway to heaven, Winter sonanta, booze over flowers, the naked rage. Regardless of what exactly we got, we loved them all!Im really glad I tried Ms. Yoo and I would recommend them for the HH

OMG KARL & NIKKI ARE THE BEST BARTENDERS EVER!! So attentive and sweet, Food is so good. Also highly recommend the Between The Knees. Karl made it amazingly.I will host my next event here because of the hospitality. They are the best!! The pork buns were fire and I highly recommend.

A friend and I rented the top floor for a birthday party recently. Rob and the Ms Yoo team were responsive and ensured everything went smooth in the days leading up. The upstairs space is great for events - space for 50-100 people and it’s well decorated. The food was great and the bartenders ensured everybody was taken care of throughout the night. The DJ was also really good and matched the vibe of our group well. We all had a great time and it was significantly less stressful than other bars that we’ve hosted parties at. Highly recommend considering Ms Yoo for events!

Hosted my birthday party here alongside 2 of my best friends and it was nothing short of perfect! Rob was very communicative and helpful leading up to the event and it went seamlessly. All of the staff were incredibly kind and fun (shoutout Aaron and Nikki the bartenders) and DJ Rick killed it! Will definitely be back here for another party or just a night out, cant recommend it enough.

Made a dinner reservation at Ms Yoo after following Chef Esther Chois career from afar. The vibe of the room is lovely, LOUD, and full of hip influencers. Our server was attentive despite a packed room and extremely friendly. Drinks are delightful and deadly, especially the Between the Knees, a syrupy sweet strawberries and gin cocktail. Food was solid, though not impressive. The brussels sprouts were tasty, the chicken sandwich moist but lacking any flavor, the pork belly bao was also yummy but nothing special or worth a return. The one stand out was the birria tacos with kimchi jus. They were hot, spicy, and absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend going to Ms Yoo for a pre-dinner or pre-show drink with the birria tacos

Booked ms yoo for a large party of ~90 people. owner was super responsive and got the dj to play the music we wanted to vibe to. overall a solid place to do big parties / private events. upstairs is vibey and drinks were solid. had a great time!

If you love shrimp, you have to try their shrimp burger- it was DELICIOUS!! The service was also amazing, some of the best service Ive ever received, period. The team was extremely attentive and quite generous with our group (we were 8 in total). We were celebrating a friends birthday and they gave us soju shots on the house. The manager, Julio, came out and joined us- he was so kind and fun. It was an wonderful experience all round. Certainly going back and recommending Ms. Yoo for larger groups!!

I threw my friend’s birthday party here & the venue was great! Everyone had such a lovely time! They were able to accomplish a bit over 100 people. The owner, Rob, was very flexible and accommodating to our party, as we originally only had around 50-75 people going at first. Great vibes all around. This is now our go-to spot to throw birthday parties :)

One of my favorite go-to spots in LES! This place is reliable and provides a variety of vibes - you can either go for a chill happy hour, cozy intimate dinner, or even a fun late night out when the overall space turns into a lounge. The Korean fusion menu is delicious and the cocktails are unique and enjoyable (their happy hour deal is very decent, and I love that they sell soju). Rob, the owner, is super friendly and helpful, easy to work with as well. I’ve had a birthday dinner and group party here so far, and never had any issues.

Ms. Yoo is a gem of a place. We thew a cocktail reception there and Rob was so accommodating and communicative -- he could not have been more pleasant to work with. Great food, drinks, and ambience in a really cool bi-level layout with bars on both floors. Its got a range of open space and cozy, intimate nooks that add up to a perfect venue for all kinds of events. Our guests were raving about all of the above. Awesome staff as well -- friendly and super efficient. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere was perfect for a birthday party and drinks weren’t too expensive. The staff was AMAZING and they made everyone feel so welcome. 100% would host another event here!

A good place for group dining, very accommodating of my request for a specific table at the front of the restaurant. Service was very attentive but not intrusive. Cocktails were nice and the food was also good - not exactly the traditional Korean food Im used to but a more modern twist, but still tasty nonetheless. At about 10pm the tables get moved and the dining space turns into more of a bar/nightclub type scene. Overall a great experience and would definitely consider the space again for another group gathering.

This place is cute, with floral decor hanging from all over the ceiling. It is a bit dark though, and their food menu isnt very big, and quite pricey for what you get. But the food is good, so Ill leave it at that. We had a number of different people come to our table throughout the course of an hour and a half meal, but everyone was helpful and pleasant.

Review applies to cocktails, service, and general ambiance. Attracted to cozy interior, arrived w/friends for nightcap on Fri night after having dinner elsewhere. Wine and beer selection is negligible, so stick with the cleverly named and deliciously designed cocktails. All the staff from cloak room to bartender to waitress were atypically friendly and helpful, no snootiness or attitude to be found. The only bad thing I can say about the place is that it did get expectedly rowdy and crowded after 11p, and the bartender was really quick on identifying and ejecting offending patrons.

It is an amazing place to meet new people around the city and enjoy Asian cuisine. Their service offered delicious spreads that included Bean Thread Noodles, Cheeseburger Sliders and Handmade Spring Rolls with great presentation. Theyre also on top of constantly clearing away empty plates and scraps, so visitors dont need to worry about disposing them. They also have a bar on each floor with a variety of alcohol to choose from and if you wish, mixed to your liking. The lounge is perfect for special occasions or catching up after work.

This is a great concept restaurant. Love the Korean tapas, food is delicious and service is very very good.However, we revisited on a Sunday evening and were one of two tables in there. This meant there wasnt much atmosphere, but the decor, food, and service are highly deserved of a 5 star. Cocktails are also delicious!

The space is super cute, the bartenders and drinks were great, and the music was right on par with the vibe I was looking for. We came to Ms Yoo knowing that the Iron Chef winner Esther Choi is one of the owners of this cocktail bar. And this place did not disappoint at all. Carefully curated cocktail menu and the cocktails were amazing. The food was delicious. Although I forgot to take a pic, the kimchi fried rice is a MUST but everything else we tried which included the fried chicken and pork buns were so delicious. The presentation of the food and drinks were spectacular. Everything was so inviting. It was a wonderful experience. Perfect for date night! Reservations highly recommended as it does get crowded after 8pm. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Next time we will go there later to experience the night life. The cocktail bar and restaurant turns into a fun night scene from what the staff told us.

I threw my birthday at Ms Yoo, it was phenomenal! Hosted 50 guests at the venue, it was the perfect space. Planning with their team was super easy and efficient. Easily hired a DJ through the venue, hired a photographer on my own, who they welcomed and made his job easy.Ms. Yoo delivered on the quality of service, quality of drinks, and overall vibe quality. Strongly recommend for any party or outing! I would definitely work with anyone on this team again.

Celebrated my nieces birthday at Ms. Yoo with family & friends last night and we all enjoyed the food, drinks and amazing service from the staff! From the starters, we ordered the Korean Fried Chicken and everyone loved them so much we ordered another round of each (soy garlic, chili and spicy!) For our Main Entrees we had a mix of the Ms Yoo Burger, Sizzling Stone Bibimbap, and Volcano Kimchi Fried Rice & the presentation was quite impressive and decadent! I would highly recommend Ms. Yoo for a great night out!

Drinks were great, food was great, vibes were immaculate. They have some food platter options and you can also plug in your own phone upstairs to bop your own tunes, so basically checks all my boxes. Very easy to plan with their coordinator Rob. I will be back!!!!!

Reserved a portion of the main floor for my boyfriends birthday of approx 30 people. Rob was great is keeping me updated on the process and responds to emails quickly. The team at Ms. Yoo were fun and lively and quick to serve us. I ordered platters for our group and they were quickly gone because they were SOOOO delicious!! We pick the taro fries, pork belly buns, Korean fried chicken and tteok kalbi. Fun night, no worries and everyone had an amazing time 😊

This place is a gem. Situated in the heart of the Lower East Side, when you walk in, you think its merely a cozy, cute bar with ample bar stools and little nooks to share cocktails with friends, but its much more! Apart from the delicious Korean-Latin-infused fare, they have designated dance areas in this two-level space (where you can also rent for private parties). The ambiance is chill, and the prices are affordable, unlike the rest of NYC! Ask for Karl with a K for funky, delicious, customized cocktails.

Unlike some other trendy spots he was also chatty and apoachable. While we were there the manager was taking photographs of their new menu, rather than letting the food go to waste they let us try the new dishes. So from both of us we would just like to say thanks for the lovely afternoon and food in your establishment!

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was here 2 nights ago and loved the drinks and food. The happy hour specials are also really good. Today I realized I dropped my airpods and went back. All the staff including the manager went above and beyond to help me look for them and managed to find one. Im so grateful for all the help everyone gave me. The staff is wonderful, relatable, and so ready to give all the support they can. Ms. Yoo has won customers for life and I will return often. I highly recommend the tacos and chicken sandwich.

We threw an engagement celebration afterparty at Ms.Yoo and couldn’t have been happier with how it all went from start to finish. Rob and his team were communicative, kind, and very accommodating, and our guests had an amazing time partying both downstairs and upstairs. Ms. Yoo is an amazing place to host an event!

Asian restaurants are a dime a dozen in NYC. Ms. Yoo does things a bit differently by having no individual dishes, but only shared dishes. Coming with a group of 8, this was a perfect environment as it was fun and we all got to try different plates.My main plate was the Pork Belly Bossam which was absolutely delicious. My only regret was that I wish there was more of it. The meat was fatty in the right areas and was cooked to perfection; not too rough but also chewable. The lettuce to wrap it was a nice touch and stabilized the salty flavor the meat.I also tried the Tteok NCheese, but it was pretty disappointing. The cheese just felt kind of flat.Drinks were solid but pricy. My wallet definitely felt a bit lighter afterwards. Overall, its a solid place to go with a few friends, but I dont know if Ill be back in the future.

The drinks were off the hook and the food off the hook (Korean fried chicken 😍 and kimchi fries 🤤) . Walked by this place and just had to stop by for a drink and some light snacks on the way to dinner. The happy hour was 50% off everything except for the roast chicken and I got to say the food was fantastic. Got the fried dried squid which was an amazing bar snack, coupled with a beautiful cocktail that tasted like Nightcrawlers sour gummy worm candy. The space was gorgeous and very bright and open. The floor manager, Ben, was very friendly and shares his thoughts on everything we ordered. Had a great time, thanks!

Get some small plates and share them with friends. Although its a more upscale place price-wise, the staff are friendly, the food is good, and the atmosphere is buzzing. The restaurant is also considerate - they took a while to bring out our last dish, so they gave us a basket of complimentary Taro Fries on the house! Sweet potato glass noodles are yummy, the Korean KFC has a nice zing, and the Kimchi Trio gives you some different flavors to sample while cleansing your palate a bit. Calamari was pretty standard. Overall, it was a fun experience to share with friends on a Friday night!

This is a really nice place, they’ve been open for a few months now, I tried two cocktails and the winter Sonia was delicious. I am not a scotch drinker but this one, just really works.Paired it with bone marrow and ttkoe kklbi (ribs) apps and the ribs have the consistency of just nicely done kebabs with Karen fusion spices. Just scrumptious. The. One marrow transplant as perfectly cooked, melted like butter and a really good portion :). I am giving it a 4 star because it was a little empty when I was here, so I did. It get a feel for the ambience but once it catches up, OMG!I wish the chef would add oysters and octopus to the menu, can’t imagine what he would do with those ingredients :)

Highly recommended. One of the best places to eat in Manhattan. I recommend making a reservation, that way the place tries to personalize your visit and make it much more pleasant. The DJ mixing hits from the 80s and 90s to the contemporary. This causes you to stay in place after dinner. Excellent for a special dinner, from a meeting with coworkers to something more intimate with your partner. The drinks with aromatic infusions were the best, along with the attention of the owner.
