I met a friend here exclusively for happy hour. 😊 The taco was a large piece of lightly fried cod that was deliciously spicy piled high with fresh veggies. 😋 The spicy chicken sandwich was also well prepared, although not at all spicy. That was a bit of a letdown, but Ill still order it again. Carbonated cosmo was a dreamy surprise. But thats the only drink Ill order from the happy hour menu. The others are not intriguing or delicious. Stars to the oysters!!!Decor is modern, even sexy when the lights go down. The place is clean and spacious, it wasnt busy when I was there. But folks were trailing in after happy hour. The bartenders are cute and pour slightly on the heavy hand.

Great food and cocktails, really bad service.The bartender was also the only one who took orders, there was a 20 minutes line just to order because he had to make cocktails while other people were waiting to order.We ordered two dishes to share, one of them arrived after 20 minutes, the other arrived 15 minutes later which was pretty frustrating.Edit: we went again for the second time to give this place a chance, food was great as usual, service was great as well!

***4 1/2 stars***A few days ago when we were planning our up-and-down Manhattan hike, I asked my only UWS contact for a lunch/cocktail recommendation that was edgy and open-minded about sweaty people. This was her immediate response, and yes, I will continue seeking her opinions on such matters. As soon as I laid eyes on the hipster snow globe lamp things by the bar, I knew we were in good hands. My chum and I stopped in for a brunch before noon this past Saturday. Shed also been here before and supported the spot, so the fact that this ended up being a positive experience wasnt remotely surprising given that I managed to get two separate endorsements on it beforehand. It might have been the slightly ominous weather slash humidity, but there was maybe one other table occupied and it was very quiet/chill in here.Magnificent, magnificent progress had been made from Bowling Green to here (I think we did it in three hours, and that was with a prior diner stop, so yeah - gold standard urban hiking right there), so multiple cocktails were in order. I gave the bourbon one a long look but decided with the July heat to pivot to something more refreshing and went with the Pink Robots ($15), featuring carbonated lemon vodka and strawberry-champagne shrub. It was tasty but not mind-blowing - I think in hindsight I would have opted for something that wasnt quite as citrus, though the strawberry-champagne certainly helped the situation considerably.We also split two apps, one sweeter, one more savory - the French toast sticks ($16) and the bacon dates ($15). Both were very solid. The best Ive had? No, but still really good and worth recommending. This place knows what its doing when it comes to supporting cast members with its dishes. Blueberry maple? Of course it should be included with French toast. Whipped ricotta and MORE maple? Yes, 100% should be hanging out with the bacon dates. Very strong optics and decisions made in the kitchen.The service was excellent. The bartender was also the de facto waitress behind the counter, and was very friendly/hospitable/accessible. I also appreciate that even though it was a slower time there, she was ALWAYS finding ways to occupy her time - whenever I went up for a food or drink order, she was busily chopping up garnishes for future cocktails and/or tidying up. We also might have been suffering from price point PTSD after finding out 80 blocks south that disposable cameras are now about $45 (dont get me started), but given that this is an edgy brunch spot on the northern part of the UWS, I thought the prices were pretty competitive here. Id absolutely come back, hike or no hike.

Excellent little cocktail bar with great ambiance, drinks and food. Stopped in just before happy hour and it wasnt busy at all. Staff were friendly and quick to help with ordering. I got the spicy chicken sandwich with fries and Guilty of Everything drink. The sandwich had great flavor but I didnt think it was spicy at all. Fries were very crispy and delicious. Ketchup was smoky and unique. The drink was decent but I would try a different one when I come back. Great place overall to grab food and drinks.

Nobody Told Me has some phenomenal cocktails, but best of all, an amazing happy hour offering on oysters!The staff here is attentive, friendly, and has good recommendations, no matter what youre looking for.Highly recommend this spot if youre on the upper section of the UWS.

A solid little cocktail bar. The food was quite good, particularly the salad which was fresh and lemony. The empanada was coated in an almost Tajin-like powder, which was a little too strong for our tastes. The burger was ok value at $22, and was basically a Big Mac. I would come back for it, but I do wish it was on the happy hour menu. The happy hour doesn’t include a lot off the food menu, just some snacks. Cocktails were good, though the dirty martini wasn’t nearly as filthy as I like.

Having a midday coffee here right now. Coffee served to stay in a nice cocktail glass, guessing it’s typically for mulled wine(?). Feel very welcome even though I’m here solo. Bartender cool AF. Space beautiful. Multiple interesting design elements. Only showing photo of coffee to urge you to see the space yourself. Have had cocktails and food here in the past. Always good.

Love at first bite! The Breakfast Burrito is fantastic! I just bit into it and the sauce mixed with the contents are unreal. I had to stop after 2 bites to write this review. Come for the Improved Grapefruit drink, too! The girlfriend approves!

We like going there mainly because it’s literally 3 blocks from my apartment. But they have really good burgers too. Service is good, there’s one bartender who is super friendly, I can’t recall his name at the moment. Overall good place to hangout.

Best breakfast burrito ever! I do a 45 minutes commute just to have it 😐 drinks are great too (my favorite is copy of a copy, very refreshing!). The outdoor tables are great for sunny days. The place is very cute inside and has a cool vibe. Service is good as well. Totally recommend. :)

Reasonably priced drinks and pretty good value for food!The bacon wrapped dates were decadent with the fat and richness balanced by the sweet dates and maple syrup.Eggplant dip was salty. Couldn’t taste the eggplant. The fresh pitas were amazing though!Jerk chicken had notes of rice vinegar and ginger. Great flavor when paired with the ranch. Dry, though.

Best cocktail bar in the neighborhood by a good stretch. Pretty imaginative, interesting stuff and the food isnt expensive either to balance the pricey drinks out. Noticed the bartenders also brought buy-backs back if you tip well, a real nice touch as everything is premium/top-shelf/worth trying. Its also not overwhelmed by Columbia students: the thirty-something bar in a sea of twenty-something bars.

Great drinks and food - came here on a drizzly cold Friday evening and the drinks and food hit the spot. I loved my drink the Search and Destroy, the truffle queso and the fried chicken sandwich. My husband had the Among Thieve drink and enjoyed it. The Mac and cheese was good - it was smoky which had a unique flavor but it was just a tad too salty for me. With just a bit less salt it would have been great. You do have to be a bit patient as you can only order at the bar but the bartenders are friendly and the vibe of the place is great!

Drinks are really good and bartenders are cool however they get slammed since there is one maybe two people working making all the drinks and also taking everyone’s ordered and ringing them up since all tables need to order at the bar. Some of these drinks take time to make so it really puts a wait on until you’re served. If you don’t mind waiting this place is great for drinks with friends. One thing I have to mention is to skip the spicy chicken slider on the happy hour menu - they’re only $5 each and actually tasted excellent however it’s maximum two bites it’s so small. You’re better off buying an entree.

No table service, just sit and order from the bartender. We got fancy cocktails and brunch items. It’s funny to pay more for drinks than entree, but it makes sense at brunch, and we appreciated. Smokey mezcal and grapefruit drink was delicious, and my bacon egg cheese croissant was a hot mess of really good scrambled eggs and thick cut bacon. The croissant was drowned out, but that’s fine. I’m into bacon and eggs!

We were in the city for the week and while visiting the North of Central Park we saw this bar on Google Maps, it was a big surprise, and the welcoming was warm. Intimate eatery with an eclectic menu. It was a new find and a wonderful place to share cheer and merriment with good friends. Although service was handled entirely through the bar, the service was great and attentive (minus the mix-up on getting tea in a timely fashion). I would visit this place many times over. I hear theyre great for brunch! That will be my next try of this place.

This place is a great cocktails bar 🍸 and eatery! 🍴 Nobody Told Me serves an large selection of cocktails 🍹 and delicious 🤤 food items - definitely get the Slushee (ask for the flavor) and Truffle 🍄 Queso 🧀 which comes with root chips, baguette 🥖, and apple 🍎 slices! Thier burgers 🍔 also look great! Service is quick ⏲️ and the ambience 🎶 is fantastic! I wish I came here earlier!

And then we got oysters during the happy hour and they were excellent.Our server Maya was just amazing and our pup Stella was smitten with her. Nobody Told Me is really cool restaurant. They offer brunch 7 days a week I love it. When I walked in the server allowed me to sit inside at one of their booths because it wasnt busy yet. I ordered the french toast sticks and a northern lights. The french toast sticks were absolutely delicious, soft and pillowy. Sweet but not to sweet. I really enjoyed it. The northern lights burned going down. Im a lightweight when it comes to alcohol, I dont really like to taste the alcohol in my drink. But for people who love coffee and love the taste of alcohol Im sure youll enjoy it. Their booths are really comfortable as well. Overall I enjoyed my time at Nobody Told Me.

The best spot to hang out at in the UWS!! I have had the best martinis here, some of my fav fried chicken sliders and the tastiest shishito peppers ever. You can’t go wrong with any drink and whether it’s the weekend or a nice weekday celebration this is the most fun spot to chill at.We just celebrated our law school first semester here and it was awesome!!

NTM is our favorite spot to hang out after a long day of work!! With its cozy vibe, fantastic cocktails, and delicious food, NTM is a gem in our neighborhood.My favorite house cocktails are Copy of the Copy and Morningside! For food, their spicy chicken sandwich is a must-try. I also really enjoy their fish tacos. One order comes with three tacos - they even put fresh avocado slices in them!Lastly, NTM is the perfect setting for party events. I recently organized a work party for 20-30 people, and the experience was fantastic. The owners friendliness, accommodation, and flexibility made the planning process a breeze, and the attentive bartenders ensured everyone had a great time. They made us feel special in our event, making me love them even more!I highly recommend this bar to anyone looking for a great hangout spot or a perfect venue for a party event. You wont be disappointed!

This bar brings the downtown vibe to the UWS. Such a great menu filled with very creative and unique cocktails. This is a great spot to come for a drink and a cool vibe. If you’re a tequila fan I definitely recommend the “How to Start a Fire” it was so so delicious and had a bit of spice to it. I also ate the falafel burger and wow, idk if it’s because I was a little intoxicated or what, but it was one of my fav meals I’ve had in a while. Very flavorful. I’m a pescatarian so it was nice to see some options that weren’t meat in the menu!The atmosphere itself is very cool and well decorated. They play great music and the place ended up getting pretty crowded! It was a nice vibe and I’ll def be back!

This is where things got messy. Literally messy. I attach the evidence. LOOK AT THAT WORK OF ART!!!The chicken is only missing head and legs and the bun is just there to act as a grip on the bird. Stopped in for lunch as it’s close to work and wanted to try it out. Spicy chicken sandwich is AMAZING. I couldn’t stop eating it and finished it, it’s quite large. Assemble the Empire was on the sweet side, but good for people that would enjoy something berry forward. Normally I take photos to throw into the Google Review, but I was so preoccupied with enjoy the vibe and drinks, that I completely forgot! The fact that this place completely kicked me into relaxation mode from the start is a plus.Id definitely recommend this bar if youre looking for solid cocktails in the area.

Such a fun neighborhood spot! My girlfriend and I came in for a drink around 9 - we sat at the bar and ordered a few cocktails. I ordered the Copy of a Copy and she had the Naked and Famous. The bartender (Sasha) was so nice and answered all our questions- when my girlfriend said she loved Mezcal she even made her a custom cocktail off the menu and made me this custom bourbon drink that was so good. She ended up chatting with us all night as we made friends w the couple next to us.It wasn’t too crowded when we got there but the playlist was solid and the vibes were amazing so when the bar started picking up we ended up staying til like 1. Ended up ordering food too - the burger was great. Definitely a welcome place addition to the Upper West Side.

The drinks were phenomenal (mezcal Negroni; copy of a copy; search and destroy) and the food was delectable. Notably, the bar manager, Matt, somehow placed drinks in our hands within minutes of ordering despite also serving another large party and multiple tables.
