We decided to go here after dinner, we checked and the entrance and they told us that we need a reservation, but it seems the luck was on our side and because of a no show they were able to find seats for us. The place is amazing, the bartenders are awesome and the cocktails were unique, in a good way. We put this place in a list of must visit again.

Dimly lit with chic ambiance. Good vibes. Not too loud or too crowded. Pleasant scent right after we open the entrance. Drinks are a bit pricey about $25+ but decent taste. Make sure to make reservation beforehand. The entrance is inside downstairs Osamil restaurant so you have to ask the hostess for access.We had a monkey on 31st (fresh gin and apricot combination!) and Sesame Street (too sweet according to my friend).

I met a friend for Happy Hour at Osamil Upstairs -- my first time. Lets just say I WILL be back. I loved the warm, chic, and welcoming vibe.It felt like I was out, but at the same time in someones thoughtfully curated and well-designed living room. The seats were comfortable. The lighting and decor were awesome. I seek out a specific vibe when I go out and Osamil Upstairs nailed it.The whole reason I came was for Happy Hour, so most importantly the DRINKS were amazing. My friend and I got the Pandora and it did not disappoint. It was beautifully crafted and delicious on a 95-degree Summer day. We stayed longer than intended, and it was just perfect. The place was also clean and the service was top notch. Ill be back, Osamil Upstairs! Keep doing what you are doing!

Didnt even know there was a speakeasy bar on the second floor of Osamil, and ended up loving it. The decor & atmosphere is great for a date night. I would recommend making a reservation, but if you are in for a quick drink to kill some time before your late night dinner reservation at a nearby k-bbq restaurant, this is the place to do it :)

Such a cool hidden speak easy bar very close to k-town! This bar is “upstairs” of the osamil restaurant and you enter through the the hidden service entrance and reach a cool dimly lit bar with comfy seating and chic decor.We were a large group and I really couldn’t take pictures of the drinks in the dark but I got the Sesame Street and loved the number of interesting ingredients in each drink. The sesame and savory ingredients really balanced the rest of the sweet ingredients. Highly recommend

Cool Speakeasy spot upstairs from the restaurant, and great fit pre dinner drinks. Decor was dark and mysterious, very nicely done! Drinks were good but on the expensive side, which is the norm for a speakeasy. They ran out of watermelon so I couldnt order the soju cocktail that I wanted, but the le Pina, and highball were tasty and got me buzzed!

Fantastic cocktails, full of flavor. Sleek, modern and comfortable environment with ample sitting space where you don’t have to shout at the top of your lungs to have an actual conversation with your group. One thing to watch out for is that there’s a cocktail that comes with some incense that is extremely pungent - they probably shouldn’t be burning too many of those, it’s near suffocating.

Osamil Upstairs is truly a gem that serves perhaps the best craft cocktails in Ktown. We’ve had this speakeasy on our list for a long time, and I’m glad we finally got a chance to visit. Tucked away behind a secret door and up a narrow winding staircase from the downstairs restaurant, you enter through a nondescript red door and are greeted with a posh interior with warm lighting.Our group was lucky and got the best seat in the house, in the center of the lounge and by the windows. Service was quick and the staff were extremely kind. We tried a selection of both signature and classic cocktails, and they were all spectacular. The Baebae was a group favorite: A light and refreshing concoction of soju, vodka, and pear liqueur that was perfect for the summer heat. Other notable callouts were Sol, a smoky Negroni, and their classic mezcal Negroni and Vesper martini.Do yourself a favor and check out Osamil Upstairs. We were all pleasantly surprised and I can confidently say that we’ll be back often as our go-to speakeasy around Ktown.

We were so excited to find this hidden gem which was behind a locked, unmarked door! It has a very cool vibe. It is dark and the decor was very appealing. The cocktail menu is super creative and we tried cocktails we don’t usually order. We had “last word” “ultima palabra”. Then later we went downstairs for our dinner reservation. It was outstanding. I will review it separately.

Such a cool speakeasy - located just one flight of stairs above osamil, you enter into this dimly light and super chic bar. They REALLY know what they’re doing with cocktails here. We sat at the bar area and it was such a chill, intimate, and classy vibe. Great date spot! On a sat night at 10pm it was busy, but not crowded or loud, so you can actually hear the person sitting next to you. We also tried the oysters and those were great as well. Highly recommend checking this spot out for some drinks. Definitely coming back to check out the lounge area

Ended up liking the cocktails here a lot more than I expected! However, service was not great. Felt understaffed?Of the various drinks we had, my favorites were:LP - a butter washed and peppercorn infused bourbon based drink with a cream top and lemon pepper seasoning. A little spirit forward, but cream top eases that aspect if you’re concerned about that. Smells funky, and the curdling in the glass can seem a little off putting, but if you like something a little different like me, this tasted great.Baebae - a super easy-to-drink vodka and soju drink that’s flavored with pear and honey. Pear isn’t always identifiable in drinks so I was super happy that it was so obviously pear! Everyone’s favorite.Sesame Street - strawberry lemongrass vodka and rum based drink with sesame oil, cucumber and pineapple. Refreshing, light, and I’d probably get this every time.Sol - pine needle infused Sonia based drink served with pine needle smoked glass. A little spirit forward, but less than you would expect.Interior is low-lit and beautifully decorated. Perfect for dates.Until I try this place again, my overall impression was: come for the drinks and food, but not the service. It took us forever to order, forever to get water, one of the servers didn’t seem to want to answer any questions, and curtly answered yes or no and then walked away. Felt understaffed? so maybe that was the issue.

Super cozy and intimate spot, I loved it here. To access, you have to enter through Osamil, and the hostess can lead you to the staircase! The drinks are a lil pricey, but pretty normal for an NYC cocktail… $20-$30. Great hidden spot, and good place to spend or kill time if you’re waiting for your Osamil reservation 😂

Osamil Upstairs is a well-hidden speakeasy which is accessed through an unmarked door in its sister gastropub Osamil.The speakeasy overall had a great ambiance to it; it was dimly lit, seating was comfortable, and it wasnt too loud. A great place to hang out and catch up with friends.The drinks, however, were a miss for us. I ordered the Seoul Vibes, which I found a bit too strong tasting. Others ordered the Pinky Up, which was too sweet. I heard the highball was not bad though.

Recommended to me by a friend, I decided to bring VIP guests here. I was very pleased with the hostess, the wait staff, the fact that they sat us in the corner seat on the sofa where it was darker and more relaxed…pretty much everything was on point. The drinks were excellent too and the little hiccup we had was immediately acknowledged with some complimentary snacks. Really great job to the entire team, and thank you for your hospitality.

This place was absolutely beautiful with the mood and ambiance perfect for a romantic date. The cocktails are very creative and I’m eager to go back and try more. They do an excellent job of taking unique flavors and ingredients and creating cocktails that are balanced and different from what you’ll find at a typical cocktail bar. I was in a group that sampled some smoked whiskeys that were really delicious and distinctive.I really loved the classy, vintage decor, too. They even had a Royal De Luxe typewriter—looked like it was from the 1930s! I’m a writer and have a 1936 Royal at home that looks identical, so I was rather thrilled to serendipitously come across this specific model of very distinguished looking typewriter.

We were raving about our drinks all night. Very rich and interesting flavor combinations. So happy to have found this place and highly recommend you check it out too!

Such a cool speakeasy that is hidden in the downstairs restaurant. The drinks are well crafted but can get you lit in seconds (if you’re a lightweight). The bartenders were super friendly and nice to talk to. He recommended me the Clover Club (I asked for a beginner drink because I like fruity cocktails) and it was sooo good. The coconut cream that tops the drink is excellent and goes well with the rest of the alcohol.

They dont offer food other than snacks (nuts/cheese/olives).Reservation highly recommend but you get only around 1.5 hours with your reservation.Recommend: Make Luv with da Buddha - honey black truffle is a great enhancement to the drink. Great speakeasy bar. The drinks are a tad pricey but well balanced and the vibe is definitely a premium feel. The only recommendation would be to be aware of the time limit on the table (2 hours). We ordered a round of drinks and before we could finish them, we were politely asked to vacate the table...the problem was you cannot stand at the bar, so there was a bit of confusion on what to do. Other than that, would definitely recommend and have been here multiple timed without issue.

The waiter got some of our drinks wrong. We had a large group of 8 or 9. The tab came to about $230 with tips, I believe. Its a great spot. Im definitely recommending it. Make a reservation, though. They did accomdate our group between a reservation. We didnt have one. However, they gave us an area where we had almost 2 hours before the other folks showed up. That was very nice of them.

My favorite cocktail bar in Manhattan so far. Super drinkable and complex cocktails, excellent, chill atmosphere, slightly overpriced drinks. Exactly what Id expect from a bar in Seoul.

Check in with ground floor Osamil to get to Osamil Upstairs.Cocktails are in the $20 range and the atmosphere reminded us of Angel’s Share or a more dimly lit Dear Irving. You can sit at the bar or in the lounge with many couches and floor to ceiling windows that face 32nd street and are shielded with curtains. On a Friday night, it felt like everyone else there was on a date 👀All the cocktails were very tasty. What we ordered were all pretty sweet, which I like. They even have a “bespoke” cocktail where you can describe your personality or preferences and they’ll surprise you with a cocktail based on what you said.The service is wonderful and super friendly!!
