    Excellent cocktail bar! The 70s decor is perfect (including a Colt 45 ad) and really sets the mood. Lighting is low and yellow. Repeating pattern wallpaper. Honeycomb and bee motifs sprinkled around. Cocktails are beautifully done and the smell of charred wood is nice when customers order the Monk Fashioned. If youre a bourbon person, they have some very nice allocated bottles! I saw some Pappy, Elijah Craig 18 and 23 yr, George T Stagg, and others. They are VERY expensive pours though. Still, that they have them at all is cool. I got Weller 12 at $30/pour. This is a gem of a spot with good drinks and great food. You should absolutely go!

    Unique space, great vibe, excellent food. The menu is fun and there is something here for everyone. Staff and hostess were very pleasant and attentive. Now the drinks, seemingly the highlight here: where is the alcohol? Had two cocktails in half an hour without a hint of a buzz... and where are the cool glasses that are pictured all over your instagram? Definitely not the experience that is advertised! Next time will sit at the bar and watch closely :)

    The Honey Well gave everything I didnt know I needed. We were a group of 4 and were seated immediately with a reservation for Saturday evening. Shout out to Swag! I absolutely loved this spot! The ambiance gave chic 70s vibes and the music matched the vibe. I loved how chill and cozy it was. The drinks were on point! From the presentation to the taste and strength. I had the Beauty and the Beast and Hey Boo Boo. Both drinks were fantastic. I really had a good time and definitely could see me going back next time Im in NY. 10/10!

    Absolutely darling and cozy restaurant / bar in Harlem. The food was so delicious I couldn’t get pictures of it because we dove right in! The music was slamming, the service was prompt, and the food was delicious. I’m so glad I found this spot! Truly a gem. I can’t wait to visit again. Excellent experience. Clean, cosy, stylish, and very tasty. Make a reservation.

    Walking into The Honeywell in NYC feels like stepping back into the 70s. The music, the retro decor, and the overall vibe instantly transport you to a different era.     The Honeywell is a vibe. Cute bar in Harlem with a sexy ambiance. They offer a limited food selection. We tried the crab cakes, crab avocado crostinis,skewered thighs and for dessert, the fonut bites of which were all delicious. The drinks were great. Jesus is a great bartender.Staff was attentive and friendly. Drinks and food were reasonably priced between $15-20. Definitely plan on going back. Visiting from Miami and Id definitely share my experience.

    Absolutely GORGEOUS! Okay, so lets start with what everyone wants to know: Happy Hour is from 4pm to 6pm and its only for CLASSIC COCKTAILS---yeah, that means the speciality cocktails that The Honey Well makes are not included during Happy Hour.Classic Cocktails are $11 during happy hour and theres a last call for Happy Hour (10 minutes before 6pm Happy Hour prices do not apply).Also, the deviled eggs are a dollar each during happy hour and super yummy!! I would HIGHLY suggest that you try the Sweet and Salty Grilly because its a MUST TRY grilled cheese sandwich.I had the classic margarita, the El Chigon and The Monk Fashioned! Of these three, my favorite was the Monk Fashioned. Its quite a theatrical cocktail as well, it comes out with cigar smoke and its really fun to watch the drink come out of the smoke.Now listen, the drinks arent going to be under $13----theyre worth it though! Well balanced, flavorful, and you will taste the liquor in a good way! I am giving them 5 stars because of the SERVICE, DECOR, AND ATMOSPHERE. I would grab food elsewhere and come here for drinks; their food options are interesting and not really my cup of tea.

    Easily the best cocktail bar in Harlem and one of my favorites in the city. It’s intimate, sex, cool, casual, 70s vibe. There are locals, friends, couples on a date. The cocktails come with just the right amount of flair to make it interesting. The small bites are delicious too. Well worth a visit for the playlist alone. Enjoy.

    A fun Speakeasy-themed bar, the entrance was below street level, with a door without any marking. We arrived shortly after they opened, so it was quiet. But, it did get busy shortly after.The décor was interesting to say the least. I would say, reminiscent of oldies with matching music. The music is a little too loud though.We were there for some craft cocktails and a small bite. We ordered The Funkadelic and Modern Day Mind Eraser.The Funkadelic is their “not so secret” Lava Lamp Cocktail. It came in a container that looks just like a lava lamp!!! How fun! Very strong, flavorful Pisgo & Tonic cocktail.Modern Day Mind Eraser is known as Boozy Bong, as it came in a bong container. Super cool! It was citrusy and minty, and again, strong! Very tasty!The little snack of choice was Fried Goat Cheese Balls. It had super crispy exterior, with crumbly goat cheese in the inside. Nice accompaniment to tasty drinks.The staffs here were really nice and friendly, and they sure know how to make some strong, flavorful, and unique cocktails! I would love to go back for more of their craft cocktails and tasty bites in a new future!

    I highly encourage everyone to come check out The Honeywell ! It’s fun but low key , bold but also very intimate . As one of my local bars I’m able to bring dates here since the environment isn’t too intense. The food is amazing strongly suggest the suggest the crab cakes ! Cocktails are dope too .

Elevated cocktail program featuring standard classics and their own incredible creations, topped off with a skillful performance by your bartender and unique glassware. Or you can just get a cold Colt 45 in a can. Also looks like your uncle’s living room from 1974. Be sure to go on off-times so you can grab a seat, but they also take reservations (encouraged!). Bar food is pretty damn good as well. Great date spot if you’re trying to look super cool.

    Really enjoyed this place. It has a fun ambiance like a mix between an american legion and a prohibition era speakeasy. When we first walked in, I thought the bartenders were just really short but turned out to be a lowered floor behind the bar. Didn’t sit outside due to rain. The cocktails were quite good. Very nice hors d’oeuvres. A little expensive, but typical for the type of business. Would definitely come back!

    The Honeywell is a vibe. Cute bar in Harlem with a chill, yet sexy ambiance. Edison type lighting and curated cocktails make for a great date spot, ladies night out, or group get together. They offer a limited food selection as well. We tried the crab cakes and deviled eggs, both of which were delicious. For drinks, all of the mezcal based cocktails were delicious as the smokiness of the mezcal just made the craft cocktail pop. I had the smoking drink (forgot the name) which was equally as delicious and made from a whiskey base I believe.Staff was attentive and friendly. I would even prefer smaller portions but I know others like the sizes.My wish now is that they offer 1/2 portions of all cocktails so that I could try more more more!!!The small bites were perfect accompaniment to the drinks. Basically they kept me from getting super tipsy ;)It’s gets a little loud in the back room so if you want to be able to talk to your companion try to sit by the bar.

    Marcio kills it at making cocktails! A true artist in that regard. My girlfriend and I come here almost every weekend and love the atmosphere and the fact that the bartenders know us. You can tell they appreciate and care about every patron that comes through their door on a human level. Hands down the best cocktails in Manhattan. It’s a rare gem of a place to find in the city. It’s an experience we share with every friend that comes to visit us in New York.It’s a place where the busy city slows down, even if just for an hour or two. Keep doing exactly what you’re doing.     Real chill and friendly place on a Sunday. Came uptown for some cocktails and a bite to eat and was not disappointed. The Hummus was spot on. As for the cocktails the I started with a Monk Fashioned and then pivoted to a Burro Loco to close the night. The heat absolutely made the later, a real winner. Solid visit, solid people, the host was great, overall a very solid place. 10/10 would come back.

    Fabulous cocktails. Im a picky drinker when it comes to mixed drinks because I hate sweet but I was delighted with both the presentation and the flavor of all the drinks I tried. My fellow drinkers with more rounded palates also loved their cocktails. I think we had at least 2 per person.Fun vibe too, almost like a speakeasy from the outside.     I don’t frequent bars, especially on the weekends. It takes a lot of convincing to get me to brave the crowds on a Friday night. Well, The Honey Well has convinced me. It is a gem worthy of a trip to the Upper Upper (Upper?) West Side. But first, some important tips for potential patrons:There is a no-waiting-at-the-bar policy that is strictly enforced. Learn it, live it, love it. This includes no standing around a table because you have too many guests in your party.The reason for this policy is because they have created a vibe which I can only describe as Sinatra’s Palm Desert lounge in the 60s. The one thing missing is someone playing jazz in the corner. The bar is, quite simply, beautiful. The drinks are inventive, the staff accommodating. The whole experience is unique for our neighborhood. This is the place to come to with a date, a small group of good friends, or even solo.On that note, please don’t show up with 10 of your college buddies at 8pm and act like a jerk to the hostess because you didn’t make a reservation and the wait time is 45 minutes. I’m sure there is a frat party going on where someone can tap a keg for you. And for all you patrons, please be respectful of those who are waiting to be seated. I imagine it must be hard to keep a business going when you have to turn away customers while those who are already seated linger too long without ordering drinks. I have been guilty of this!Finally, I want to give a shout out to Gina, the hostess (or manager?). From booking my reservation to making room for extra guests, Gina was fantastic. I was difficult to get ahold of, and then I ended up changing the time of my reservation. And then someone from our party was delayed, then showed up later with an unexpected guest (remember what I said about not standing around!). At one point, I saw another guest seated at the bar quickly turn and fling her elbow into Ginas shoulder (very hard! ) knocking a tray out of her hand. She remained calm, cool, collected. I don’t know how she does it!

    Cool, hidden. Expensive but you get what you pay for. I watched this bartender make an old fashion for like a full 6 or 7 minutes. It looked like a science experiment. Then the customer that looked like a crazy subway person chugged in in 3 seconds because it was his birthday😂😂. Id go here for a date or special occasions. They have cheaper beers here too though. Its just a little quiet to go alone.

    A gem in Harlem heights area. You walk down some steps to the entrance which reveals a basement level bar and it feels like you stepped back in time to the 70s. Great vibes all around and great cocktails. Expect to wait a little if its busy but its all worth the wait. Will be back.

    A very cozy and fun place to hang out with friends or date night with your lover if you’re into retro vibes. Once inside I felt like I’m going through a time machine into the 70’s themed cocktail den, it reminded me of my best friend grandparents basement with the wood paneling and beaded curtains.     What a cool find! I poked my head in here after leaving the cafe next store one weeknight to see what it was, and I turned to leave after I saw that all its seats were occupied; I figured Id check it out again the following weekend. But apparently someone vacated a seat at the bar after I stepped out, and one of the staff actually ran out the door to catch me and let me know there was a seat for me. So of course I went back in, where I had a few great cocktails and the outstanding swedish meatballs. I dont usually bother bar staff, but here I talked with the bartender on duty for about an hour about rum, absinthe, and tiki culture; he was friendly and knowledgable. They also make their own honeycomb soda that is unbelievably tasty and worth the $10 a glass; one friend among the several Ive dragged here says it tastes like liquid apple pie.

    Really cool 70s themed bar and probably one of the better places to get some cool cocktails in the Hamilton Heights area. My wife and I came here after a dinner for a nightcap and some dessert. None of the cocktails really blew my mind. In a city with a cocktail scene as competitive as NYC, I can really only give it 4 stars. Absolutely worth a visit for people in NYC but I wouldnt recommend that a tourist/visitor take a trip to Hamilton Heights for it.

    Amazing, hospitable service! My friends and I had a small, 10-person surprise bridal shower at The Honey Well and we had the best time! We were permitted to set up the small space in the back with a few decorations and to do some table-scaping. The workers were attentive and accommodating and really helped make the night special. They even joined in on the surprise! Shout out to Ellen who was our amazing sever and another worker whos name escapes me now, but a tall male worker with dreads who was very helpful with set up, and storing and cutting the cake.     Very nice cocktails and a pretty decent bar food menu too! The donuts were perfect, which is way better than I expected. I tried the Pineapple cocktail, the Mr Yoshi and the Milk Punch. All were really good. The staff was friendly and masked, the outdoor seating in their patio garden was really lovely and SO much bigger than expected. We went on our four year wedding anniversary.
