Most amazing bar experience of my life. Frankie was the best bartender/mixologist ever! Absolutely loved this place. Epic night and epic experience! Wish I wouldve tried the food, as well. Im sure its equally as fabulous! -

Very fun place. Weve been here a few times. We liked the 45 record with the line of cool aid we got the first time. 80s vibe is cool and the names of drinks are entertaining. Drinks and food are great! -

Ummmm I have no words but I was this place is FUN!! My boyfriend and I are visiting from Canada and his cousin brought us here and oh my goodness - do not miss on this place. Great drinks, great food, friendly staff, Rebecca was amazing- we threw her some flavour profiles we liked and she recommended the absolute finest drink pairings with our food!! prompt service, great vibes. Cheeky entry that is so well thought out. Thank you! -

Such a great atmosphere and delicious drinks! You will not get bored sitting around and watching the friendly bartenders craft super fun beverages and actually experiencing the menu items. Probably the coolest speakeasy I’ve been to in a long time! -
Review 5 (2024-09-22 - Rating: 5)
Really enjoyed the inclusive and diverse atmosphere. Loved the esthetic. We did feel as though some staff weren’t as attentive as others, making us feel more of a burden and inconvenience. There were social influencers that were seated immediately and able to get their items in a timely manner, when it took close to 45 minutes to have someone come back and check in on us. -

The woo woo is a cute speakeasy experience that seems especially safe for young women. Firstly, you need to have the dirty passcode of the day (found on their website) to enter. You go down some stairs where your ID is checked. Note that you should be dressed nicely since there is a dress code. You then go through a secret door to the bar area. It’s decorated super cute, with a photo booth ($7) and a disco ball. They play 80s songs and have movies playing. The seating is a mix of booth and chairs, as well as the bar stools. They also have bathrooms. Note that everyone needs to give an ID and credit card when ordering.I liked their drinks, they are very unique and gimmicky in a good way. I got the Frisky Business, which had marshmallows on fire and pop rox. The woo woo was also delicious and came in a body glass. The staff are so attentive and gave us waters and check in on us multiple times. It felt very safe as two young women! -

Its a fun spot. A raunchy-themed speakeasy located near Time Square. The drinks have pretty entertaining names. Easygoing and casual vibes. -
Review 9 (2024-12-21 - Rating: 5)
Frank is the man with the master plan!! He brings the party. The cocktails are top tier and the vibe is undeniable. His new name is 5star Frank! -
Review 10 (2024-10-16 - Rating: 5)
Love this exclusive speakeasy type vibe. Reservation is the best way to get into this spot. There is so much to take in here! This is your meal spot to tickle your night before you head out to dance!. I definitely dont recommend bringing kids. The drinks were delicious and came in very cute glassware. The food - so delicious - everyone was full but wanted to try more. And our server Brett, made the night memorable. If you have a big personality, his will match or outshine yours ( In a good way! ). Be ready to have fun here! -
Review 11 (2023-07-28 - Rating: 4)
The Woo Woo is such a cute hidden gem! Grabbed drinks with my girls here last night and we were so happy we chose here. Once you say the passcode and enter you really feel like you are in another dimension. The decor and atmosphere is amazing. The drinks were really good and so fun! Our servers were very attentive. For food we ordered the buffalo chicken spring rolls, chicken sliders and chicken burger with truffle fries. The food was good however the chicken was not cooked very well in the sliders. Overall, I would definitely visit again to grab drinks! -

The Woo Woo was an awesome experience. Best bar/speakeasy thus far we visited in New York. Great cocktails and awesome service. 1 Star Frankie was as charismatic as they come. Lots of laughs made for a hell if a night! Donkey Kong is a great cocktail -

Great 80s themed speak easy. You need a password to get in (posted on their website). Playing 80s music and several tvs playing 80s classic movies. Great service and food. Would recommend. -
Review 14 (2024-12-08 - Rating: 5)

Stumbled upon this place while in the city on a conference. Noticed a few people coming to the door and speaking into an intercom.I quickly googled this mysterious place and found the password and took a chance.Down a set of winding steps into this underground secret, I check in with the hostess, greeted by adult material like an old seedy video store of yesteryear.Behind the curtain, a secret doorway to an 80s oasis of nostalgia. Breakfast Club on the big screen, A-has Take On Me playing in the speakers you see an old Nintendo, neon lighted signage you are seated at the table or bar.I managed to find a speakeasy-bar.I noticed the bar food other patrons were enjoying and it looked delicious. Shareable plates for you and your friends before embarking on a drinking adventure.I selected a tequila drink - Quaalude. The drink is a creeper, with a fruity sweet taste, but strong enough to make you sway with the music. Liquid courage much? The staff were friendly, courteous, and vigilant. The bar tends to pride itself on the safety of its patrons with policies and security cameras in place everywhere. They verify ID and any card payments match to avoid fraud as well as encouraging a buddy system for people entering. No singles.I enjoyed my visit thoroughly and will bring everyone here next time Im in town. -

What a fun 80s themed speakeasy cocktail bar. I love the vibe here. Our waitress was so friendly, all the drinks was on fire and delicious. I highly recommend. But dont forget to make a reservation. -

Lovely hidden gem, Rebecca and Brett were so so friendly and lovely! Very immersive entrance, too. The Dirty Dancing was my favorite drink, but the whole cocktail menu is so fun! -
Review 18 (2023-04-14 - Rating: 5)
What a cool speakeasy bar with an 80s theme. Awesome vibes here. All of the drinks were tasty, and our bartender was very friendly. I recommend you make a reservation. To enter the building through the front door, you will need a password. You enter an 80s-themed bar through a bookcase after entering the front entrance. The cocktails were FANTASTIC! The atmosphere and music are perfect.Instagram:food_and_travel0 -
Review 19 (2024-05-11 - Rating: 5)
This place is really cool! We don’t go to nyc often, maybe 1 or 2 times a year for a Broadway show. The last 3 times we were in the city we have stopped by the woo woo! We have even brought our friends this last time too! We have never had food there but drinks are awesome! This time we tried the little mermaid and eye of the tiger (picture below). Usually it’s busy there but if you go right when it opens there’s a lot less people. After 10pm I’d say it can get busy and they turn the music up. The only thing I will say is if you’re a bigger girl like me… the bathroom stalls are soooo tiny. Over all we love this place and will definitely be back on our next trip to the city! -
Review 20 (2023-04-07 - Rating: 4)
Very cool speakeasy: you have to say a password to get in. The bookshelf opens the door to a secret room. It’s very funky and cool. It’s different and fun. The drinks are pretty good but the food isn’t too great, it’s just bar food. But the rest of the place was great. -
Review 21 (2024-10-10 - Rating: 5)
Great spot, didn’t want to leave. Our waitress Rebecca was awesome, drinks were fun! So much fun people watching. Didn’t have any food this time but all the options look great. We will be back! -
Review 22 (2023-12-06 - Rating: 5)
Made a stop here during my visit to NYC and had an absolutely blast. Obviously the theme is super cool but I was even more amazed by the staff! Both Kiana and Reuben went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Definitely recommend! -
Review 23 (2024-11-12 - Rating: 5)
This speakeasy passed my expectations. Went for an early birthday celebration and had a wonderful time. The staff was absolutely wonderful, music was great along with the food and the drinks was on point. -
Review 24 (2024-07-21 - Rating: 5)
Very cool and fun place, all the drinks are very cute and unique. Love it -
Review 25 (2024-05-28 - Rating: 5)
Wow!! This was easily one of my favorite places in the city! The atmosphere is chefs kiss, and the food although pricey, is so delicious. The drinks weren’t too strong but super cute and tasty. -
Review 26 (2022-09-04 - Rating: 4)
Cool place with an awesome vibe! Pricey drinks ($16 for a cocktail, $24 for a double vodka soda with cran), but I guess thats to be expected in NYC. Service was good, food was decent, and the drinks were tasty. Recommend if youre near Time Square and want to try something a little different. Make reservations ahead - the place is small and filled up quickly! -
Review 27 (2024-01-28 - Rating: 5)
Cute spot for unique cocktails and very cool decor; gives retro 80s vibe ! Tip: you need to see their website for the password and it’s honestly so wild. Seating is tight by the bar so would advice making rsvp in advance for table. -
Review 28 (2024-11-03 - Rating: 5)
The Woo Bar is simply EPIC.Stones throw from Times Square, this take on a speakeasy hits out of the park. Entering a secret door, down a staircase covered in graffiti….through a curtain and hidden bookshelf….this peep show themed speakeasy was awesome before we entered.Drinks are fantastic, would strongly recommend the “Sex Cures Anxiety” for gin lover and the Qualaude, by far my favorite drink.Bartenders are awesome and hilarious, just go and check it out! -
Review 29 (2024-11-20 - Rating: 5)
Such a unique quirky and fun speakeasy! Definitely in a very touristy area but I think that works in their favor. The vibe is definitely giving drunk uncles basement but in a good way. The drinks are really good and the seasonal drinks are definitely worth a try! -
Review 30 (2024-07-31 - Rating: 5)
Amazing experience me and my significant other had gone not once but twice this weekend. Brett made this experience excellent and was very attentive and did a great job helping celebrate a birthday. Highly recommended. -
Review 31 (2024-01-04 - Rating: 5)
Visited here on a Tuesday night. It wasnt too busy but still had a good vibe about it. You have to press the buzzer and state the password to get in. You are then shown through a secret door into a good sized bar. The deco is a 80s theme (Time Square) with multiple TV screens showing 80s movies. Our server, a young Irish girl, was very friendly and chatty, she kept our drinks flowing. We really liked the retro photo booth in the corner. Well worth a visit to this hidden gem. -
Review 32 (2024-07-21 - Rating: 4)
Vibe was great, exactly as expected. Food was good and drinks were average, could use more alcohol in them. Overpriced as expected because of the location. Service was good enough, we did order a lot and our server was always occupied. They were pretty accommodating when we were 15 mins late but only allowed 90 mins stay from the moment we were seated. Of course we left in time but we would have stayed if it weren’t for the time restriction, it got crowded when we left. Girls and I had a good time overall. -
Review 33 (2024-09-05 - Rating: 4)
The service and the vibes were spectacular, even on a Wednesday night. Drinks were good and very cute!! The only thing that could’ve taken the experience to the next level would’ve been better music. -
Review 34 (2023-08-31 - Rating: 5)

Review 35 (2023-04-11 - Rating: 5)
Absolutely great vibes. The workers there are super nice and they gave us complimentary shots. Overall a very welcoming space with good food. Ps I recommend the Parmesan truffle fries because they’re so bomb. Would definitely come back here -

Review 37 (2023-07-30 - Rating: 5)
This speakeasy is such a cute vibe. From the code word to entering to the revolving bookshelf which leads to the bar scene. The drinks are good and priced reasonably. Great for date night or girls night out. -

Ive been coming to the woo woo for all two years of my masters, and let me tell you, this place is the best! The drinks are always on point, but its the people that make it special. The servers and staff are super friendly and make every visit awesome. A huge shoutout to Julio, the manager. Hes super kind and always makes you feel welcome. When I came in to celebrate my graduation a few days ago, he even offered us complimentary round of shots—such a cool gesture! If you’re looking for a chill place with great drinks and even better people, the woo woo is the spot. I would recommend prior reservation to guarantee a table. Thanks for all the great times and making my two years in NYC really special! Cheers!! -

Review 53 (2023-11-04 - Rating: 5)
10/10 recommended for a night out. This location was so my vibe with decor of the 80s & 90s and had several TV with the same decades of movies playing. The movies playing were Beaches, Splash, and another 80s zombie movie I couldnt name. 😅 Didnt eat the food, but most of the ppl around us ate very quickly. Drinks were 100% amazing and unique. You wont regret it! -
Review 54 (2024-12-04 - Rating: 5)

Review 60 (2023-03-10 - Rating: 5)
OK! So if you want to go somewhere with high quality but on a budget and want a good time this is the place. I have never been anywhere in New York and experience the superior and quality service before. The waitress are phenomenal. They were so fast and friendly just pleasant individuals to be around. The food quality and the speed of the food was remarkable and unbelievable. I came as a solo person and I felt so welcomed. I had no reservation and was seated within 5 minutes with a full crowd here. They checked on me and provided everything I needed. This is the only place I can say that has great strong drinks and amazing food. There is not one bad thing I can say about this place. They cleaned tables immediately, the place was 5/5 I would highly recommend for a great time. I am impressed everything from the aesthetic to the food and atmosphere had me speechless. -

Review 63 (2023-02-21 - Rating: 5)
We were there on Sunday night, Feb 19, and my son and I loved it. The two waitresses were fantastic and made my son feel special. The female bartender was also very friendly and accommodating.(Im sure the male bartender was great also but I didnt interact with him). The atmosphere speaks for itself but it was the staff that made it great. Hopefully the management checks the schedule and recognizes those staff members -

Nice place with a neat different vibe. The food was good, the drinks were good as well. Service was also very nice! It is a bit small and gets crowded quickly. If you’re going in a group of 4 or more, I would recommend trying to reserve a table and planning before. -
Review 68 (2023-01-17 - Rating: 4)
This place is so 80s authentic. Great drinks, good food, but a little pricey. I love the added password for entry. Friendly staff and environment. I love that the seats are spaced out, there is nothing worse than being seated and your so close you feel as if you are at a conference table. I do wish they had a little dance floor. Overall its a must visit, I will be returning. -

Review 72 (2023-09-28 - Rating: 5)
Really fun place to check out! The entire experience coming in, needing the secret phrase for the day, and the decorations everywhere make for a very unique experience. Took a friend here for her birthday and everyone was super nice. If you have time to kill and looking for somewhere to get some great food and drinks, make reservations here! Would also advise if youre unsure of being able to stick to your reservation time, the cancellation costs can be steep. Book wisely! -
Review 73 (2024-06-23 - Rating: 5)
Midtown speakeasy with a secret code (found on their website). Buzz the doorbell and then enter down a hallway with cool neon lights into a sex store front with a hostess. Enter through a bookshelf into a dining space with retro décor! We came in on a Monday at 7 and there was no line for a party of 2. The staff were quick to service and brought our drinks/food out fairly quick as well.I liked the French fries ‘nachos’ loaded with brisket! The waffle fries were crunchy and a great vessel for all the toppings! It was packed with flavor and plenty to share among 2 people. -
Review 74 (2023-11-14 - Rating: 5)

My friends and I were there for almost 3 hours at our table And n o one ever came to get us so it was a win for us. The music was great and the service was fast. We loved our drinks. The food looked pretty good too. -
Review 81 (2023-01-23 - Rating: 5)
This Speakeasy is fun, cozy and the service is really good. The experience is unique and they make sure you have fun and that you enjoy. Drinks are about $16. Shots are $10. The music was very good and the ambience is great as well. If you are looking to eat and drink in a place out of the ordinary, the woo woo is a must. There is a passcode to go in. When we went it was “the wetter the better”. Make sure to check their social media for this passcode before you go. -
Review 82 (2022-10-23 - Rating: 5)
Ok dude, yes please! I have been everywhere all over the world and let me tell you ... This place gets it. You HAVE to make it fun for your guests! The venue is just so stupid fun yet grounded in history with a purpose. The attention to detail...A+++. The hostess on this night, Carmen, started the vibe right and kept it going. We had been to other venues all week and this was perfect while the others failed the fun test. Our waitress, Irish woman I forgot name, was attentive and helpful. I mean, I cant stress the hospitality aspect. Food was ok for bar fare. The drinks are so fun! Every one of them has some flair to really make it unique. I would love to write more but all I can stress is that this is a place you want to bring a visitor or celebration. Vibe check 10/10. Theres even a photo booth to record that evening. Thanks guys for a great night! -

My wife and I went to The Woo Woo yesterday and we had such a great time. Our expectations were immediately blown out of the water, will definitely be making this one of our regular spots and recommending it to all of our friends. It was very inviting and the atmosphere was amazing. The bouncer outside Daniel was very bubbly and made us feel welcomed plus the manager Allen was professional and made us feel like a priority when we voiced a concern. 10 out of 10 would recommend -

It’s an amazing experience! The drinks are great, but unfortunately, if you made a reservation for a table, you only can stay for 1:30. That was a little bit disappointing because they didn’t tell us.But definitely is a good place to go to take some pictures and have nice drinks. -

We are always on the hunt for a cool Speakeasy and The Woo Woo made that list. Such a cool vibe spot for a date night in the City. Everything about this place is amazing...selection of drinks, food, staff and the music was on point! We had an amazing time. -
Review 88 (2024-01-19 - Rating: 5)
We had such a great time!! We went for my birthday and our server Kiana was super kind, fun, and fantastic all around. She made everyone feel welcome and special. The 80s theming down to the decorations on the drinks adds a unique touch. -
Review 89 (2023-03-13 - Rating: 4)
Overall rating: 4.5Cute, kitschy place to try if you’re near the area. From reading the low reviews, you definitely need a reservation to be safe.It is quite, quite an experience. You feel like you’re transported into the 80s and/or a scene from Stranger Things.I enjoyed it as a one-time visit, but I probably won’t be going back. It was VERY loud. I actually think it’s perfect for a pregame spot with a 5+ friends. They also serve sugar as lines of coke which I thought was pretty funny. They commit to the extreme and the food was pretty good. But it’s just not my vibe.I would recommend giving it a try. -

The only truly good cocktail bar in actual Times Square! I go to this place every time I go to a Broadway show and Im never disappointed. Love it here! All of the drinks are delish and the vibes are hilarious. -
Review 91 (2024-05-06 - Rating: 4)
Fun spot in the theater district, we stopped by before a show and had a nice time. Atmosphere and vibe are fun, food is very basic bar food. -
Review 92 (2023-07-13 - Rating: 5)
Its probably one of my favorite Speakeasies. The secret phrase alone gets me excited to walk down the stairs into the Speakeasy.Neon lights, sexy feel. There is definitely an 80s feel to this location. Sugar lines (to represent the coka back in those days) nice vynils place all over.Wound recommend this for a date indeed. -

Really cool place! Its a side door that leads to a hidden underground bar. You need a password to get in, which is on the website. They have really good cocktails, and options for food. -

Super fun speakeasy - FANTASTIC drinks especially if you like sweet drinks. Get the frisky business or sex cures anxiety. They’re both delish. -

The coolest speakeasy in NY right now.It really felt like a real one when they asked for the password (and we had no idea!)Bartender was extremely nice and the place is even cooler than it looks in the pics.Cocktails were very fun and good!Price is regular NY price, so no complaints! Will be back for sure! -
Review 98 (2023-05-15 - Rating: 5)
OMGOSH, we had an awesome time. I mean, the place is intimate, so dont be like the party of 10 that came, but since it was after 10, there was no room. Make reservations if you plan on bringing a group. The drinks were good, according to my friends. I was done with drinking at this point in the night 🤷🏽♀️ so I just and something to nibble on. With that lead in the flat bread was so good. Try it when you go it was delicious 😋. This spot is definitely a must see so go enjoy and laugh a lot. Thats what life is all about. -

Review 100 (2024-08-25 - Rating: 5)
Fun cocktail bar and speakeasy, with nods back to the original pre-Disney Times Square. Cocktails were creative and tasty and served in a most distinctive way. On Tuesday night we visited, I think we were the only men present, room was packed with women which is something I hadnt seen much in NYC. Nice buzz and music but conversation still possible. Highly recommend. -
Review 101 (2024-08-17 - Rating: 4)
4.5 stars, will definitely be coming back! Went on a Thursday evening, very relaxed vibe and staff was attentive. Food was tastier than expected, drinks were good (could be stronger, thats why I took away half a star) but have enough of them and youll feel a buzz. -

I cant wait to go back! It was 80s everything and I love it. The woo woo shot will trick you into getting more! Every drink on the menu was a hit, we tried them all lol the truffle fries were so good! I dont want to tell to many ppl about it so I can keep it to myself lol. -
Review 108 (2022-11-27 - Rating: 5)
I had the most absolutely amazing time! First off, I was so relieved I was able to change my reservations last minute, I texted them and left a voicemail and it took a few but they were able to modify it for me.When we got there, the wonderful hostess was warm and attentive, so so friendly. Our waitress was wonderful and it was such a nice gesture that The Woo Woo provided their signature shots complimentary since it was my birthday. The drinks were delicious, not too sweet, tasted divine. And they were creatively prepared and named. As a native NYer, I avoid Times Square like it’s my job…BUT, I’m so glad I found this place and I’m absolutely coming back again. My birthday was made even better because of The Woo Woo, their staff, and even the other patrons were beyond warm and affable.Thank you for a wonderful evening! -

Think Times square 1980s. What a speakeasy! First you gotta know the password so check their website.. second you pull up give the pw and you decend into a sexy neon graffiti spiral staircase to a hostess who is inside a makeshift sex shop! It just a front you cant by the Toys it simply creates an ambiance. Then youre lead behind a peep show style curtain and must pull the hidden lever to open the bookcase that hides the underground entrance and boom! Electric music dim lighting strong drinks and good vibes. If your in the area definitely go! Just remember they let the freak flag fly!😁 -

Absolutely worth checking out! As an avid bar hopper, I was pleasantly surprised by how unique and fun this place is! I absolutely love that they include a brief article about the locations history on the menu, because it only added to my love of the place. The menu has lots of fun, original cocktails, and they can make just about any drink you’d like. Our server was super fun, and made the night special for us! I would absolutely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for a drink near Times Square. Make sure to grab the password before going! -

The staff are petty much alway provide great service common expressly the bartenders and the No#1 server Brett! There are lots of sexy undertones but the main theme is a fun 80s atmosphere at the time random strangers break out into dancing and Conga lines 👏 ...You NEED to know the PASSWORD. you can find the password on the website 😉. It changes every month, but for now it is Slippery when wet...your welcome -

The Woo Woo woos you in with it’s intriguing name & word-of-mouth reviews. This speakeasy, which you can only enter via passcode, is located near Times Square, but it has a very East village like vibe.As you step down to the basement, you’ll notice all funky kinky 70’s retro decor and a jovial atmosphere of happy tipsy people. The bar is small but packs a punch with it’s naughty cocktails and high spirits.Def worth checking out once. -
