Second time here. The quality of coffee is pretty good, though is darker than I like, and cortado is a little “thin” in terms of flavor (I am VERY picky). Definitely the darkest in the neighborhood (aside from Coppa), and I always prefer dark roast to medium roast. It’s the equivalent of say Roma in Nespresso terms.The vibe is really friendly and also very cute, and it’s a cute cozy place to hang. It’s a lovely little place. Very dog friendly. Would definitely recommend.P.S. They had two gluten free pastry options

The ambiance is perfect for both catching up with friends or diving into some work. Large windows allow natural light to flood the space, including cozy coaches. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always eager to recommend a new brew or share the story behind the beans. Been in way too many coffee shops to count but considering that is in NYC. Best quality and price!

This is my go to spot every morning. I found this shop randomly and Im happy I did. Im greeted by a friendly bristas and a homely interior. The coffee and fresh pastry are delicious. Mind you they have fresh pastries served every morning. The batistas are very friendly and make sure everyone is taken care of. Even the owner is amazing as well. He greet his customer with kindness and make sure they are well taken care of. All this to say its a good experience with the best coffee. Definitely worth the try.

Updating my review here as i’ve become a decently regular customer..love everything about this place and definitely the best cup of true european italian coffee in manhattan. everything on the menu is delicious, including the pastries from a local italian family bakery.the cafe is owned by a local couple and they’ve put a lot of time, effort, and thoughtfulness into the space. the vibe is always great with a nice music set playing and it’s perfect that they also have their liquor license. coffee in the morning, wine in the evening - the european way.the coffee itself is slightly more expensive for the area (maybe $1 or $1.50 more) but you get a far superior cup of coffee and you’re supporting truly a local business. hard to beatoh and they have fantastic espresso martinis, for $14. run don’t walk.definitely a must try

This is my new favorite coffee spot. If you want authentic, Italian coffee and an experience that will brighten your day this place is perfect! The coffee is great! You can tell, it is made with skill and craftmanship. The owners are so kind and pleasant to talk to. It really adds to the enjoyable experience. They even give out fresh Italian cookies with every order that pair amazingly with the coffee. I will definitely be coming back!

The quality of the coffee at Cappuccino Gino inspires me to drink it like I am in Italy: belly up to the marble bar top, just long enough for a polite word with the barista and to savor my caffe, but not so long that the beverage gets cold. This is a place for people who want the Italian coffee experience in NYC. Espresso and milk drinks only. No drip, just Americanos for those that prefer more water in their ratio. Definitely a premium product, but youre not going to find a better cup of coffee in Midtown.
