Best herbal/hibiscus tea in Manhattan. Sweeten it accordingly with the classic/house syrup on the self-serve stand. I don’t know why they don’t have WiFi though, makes no sense.

  • Review 2 (2024-07-05 - Rating: 5)

Simply put, theyve got delicious coffee. And they also serve iced drinks with cold foam. The vibe seemed to be great for co-working.

  • Review 3 (2024-05-30 - Rating: 5)

Cosy and chic coffee place with excellent pastries. The banana and chocolate scone was delicious, as well as the peanut butter cookie. Highly recommend. Paid 20$ for a latte, americano and the two pastries.

  • Review 4 (2023-11-07 - Rating: 5)

Great atmosphere. No wifi which is a callout to people wanted to post up and work here. The dark chocolate mint drink is exceptional and the cardamom cinnamon bun was very unique

  • Review 5 (2024-02-10 - Rating: 4)

Spacious, warm feeling spot. Irving Farm Coffee gives off a bit of a “study hall vibe”; people on laptops, some conversations going on, and a young adult demographic. It’s a solid, multi-purpose third space to do whatever you want. The interior design has warm wood tones and some black and white pictures on the walls. It feels a bit of an unpretentious Starbucks spinoff. The coffee is solid: their own roasted Irving Farm medium/dark roast drip coffee. Let’s be honest; it’s a dark roast, but it’s drinkable! Other amenities: water on tap, cool room in the back, the beanie of the barista and a bathroom. Coffee score: 4/5. Everything else score: 4.5/5. Overall score: 4.25/5

  • Review 6 (2024-11-17 - Rating: 4)

    Ok Matcha Latte, no wifi

  • Review 7 (2023-06-30 - Rating: 5)

Great coffee tucked into a semi basement floor. Good coffee, great service. Nice set up for working in a laptop or reading

  • Review 8 (2022-10-15 - Rating: 5)

It has become one of my favorite weekend coffee shops on the UWS. Good, strong coffee and pretty good menu items. Seating in the back which I didn’t realize the first time I went.

  • Review 9 (2024-03-11 - Rating: 5)

Love this l amazing spot. Its the best mocha i have ever had. And its for a great feel.

  • Review 10 (2017-09-19 - Rating: 5)

Some of the best coffee around. They weigh their water and ingedients to ensure the perfect brew and the baristas are so knowledgeable about their beans. I almost always use milk and sugar, but the iced coffee was so good I just had to enjoy it black. They also had a nice seating area in the back and plenty of seats.

  • Review 11 (2020-06-24 - Rating: 4)

The iced drip coffee was excellent. Also there is variety off options for the coffee bean👍The place is empty because i cam in the covid-19 time.

  • Review 12 (2024-04-20 - Rating: 4)

3.5 / 5.0 - My friends and I were looking for a cafe for some coffee / tea and decided on Irving Farm because they have a spacious seating area in the back with a skylight. It was completely full, which is understandable for a Saturday afternoon, with a mix of people catching up and others on their laptops.Fortunately, a table opened up soon after we arrived and we were able to sit. Our table was in the corner and sectioned off, so we had our own little quiet corner, which was nice for catching up.I ordered the medium Matcha Latte ($6.25+), which was good. I also wanted a cookie or something sweet, but their selection of pastries was limited at 2pm. Perhaps, mornings are better for a wider selection.

  • Review 13 (2023-08-27 - Rating: 4)

Spacious, suitable for work I believe, coffee place.

  • Review 14 (2020-02-01 - Rating: 4)

Crowded and pricey, but very yummy coffee and good pastry snacks. Appreciated all the milk options (I got oat) and the latte art. Would recommend!

  • Review 15 (2024-01-08 - Rating: 5)

This place is so cute! I came here for a business meeting and the atmosphere is great. It’s quiet but also has a little chatter so you don’t feel super awkward talking. The coffee is great quality as well. Overall, great place.

  • Review 16 (2019-03-27 - Rating: 5)

The best espresso ever tasted. Place is cozy and always busy.

  • Review 17 (2024-03-30 - Rating: 5)

All around great experience for quality coffee a spacious, clean spot to enjoy either some reading or Journaling time or a catch up with friends! Plenty of seating inside, a few tables outside. Enjoy!

  • Review 18 (2019-02-18 - Rating: 4)

Great coffee with a punchy taste and plenty of seating. Food smells and looks amazing but no gluten free bread option which is a little bit disapointing as I would have to tried something not oat bases

  • Review 19 (2018-08-12 - Rating: 4)

Great seating inside. Get the overnight oats; it has honey, chia seeds, and fresh fruit that is delicious.

  • Review 20 (2018-12-10 - Rating: 5)

Wow, who knew such great coffee would live in an otherwise under-trendified-caffeinated neighborhood. Make sure you bring your phone (or any other form of computer) for the long line that waits for you on entry.

  • Review 21 (2021-11-07 - Rating: 4)

We came here to try their coffees. Long line and the coffee was decent. Ordered a latte to go.

  • Review 22 (2024-02-20 - Rating: 5)

I grabbed a latte before we were headed out of town, so I can’t speak to the food… but the latte was great, and the service was very friendly! I hadn’t been since 2019, so I was happy to see Irving Farm in the UWS was still there going strong!

  • Review 23 (2023-09-03 - Rating: 5)

Such a great UWS coffee shop. Quite a bit of seating in the back, although it can get pretty crowded. Their gluten free baked goodies are amazing if they have them in stock when youre there!

  • Review 24 (2018-08-08 - Rating: 4)

Really good coffee, nice atmosphere but no WiFi. 😞

  • Review 25 (2019-09-05 - Rating: 5)

Amazing coffee! Good service and very friendly staff. One of the best Ive had in New York.

  • Review 26 (2019-08-13 - Rating: 5)

Nice ambience with amazing cortado (the cappuccino was great too). Friendly staffs and most of customers were stick to their laptops/mobiles.

  • Review 27 (2022-02-14 - Rating: 4)

Love everything about this place. Except there’s no wifi…

  • Review 28 (2023-07-18 - Rating: 5)

Excellent space, plenty of seats, bonus points for a bathroom, also AC on high! Staff nice , friendly and knowledgeable. Excited to try their beans, took the tourist blends, Gotham and Highline. Enjoyed a Cortado, no points for Artwork nor the paper cups 😟. Also loved the ‘Old School’ IBM clock, time to check out eBay 😉.

  • Review 29 (2022-10-16 - Rating: 5)

A great little coffee shop on the Upper West Side. Their Cinnamon Cardamom Bun is awesome, though messy, and goes well with their hot peppermint tea. Their croissants looked incredible, too. Lots of people were sitting in here to work on their laptops. I had a business meeting here for over an hour, and it was a great place to chat.

  • Review 30 (2024-04-11 - Rating: 5)

As a coffee aficionado, I’m are always on the hunt for a perfect cup, I highly recommend their Cortado 😍– it’s rich, velvety, with the perfect balance of espresso and steamed milk, it’s hands down the best in UWS!If you love a cozy spot to work or hang out with friends, check out the seating area at the back with a skylight !

  • Review 31 (2022-03-26 - Rating: 4)

We sat outside with our 2 almond milk lattes. The coffees were delicious - as always here. Service was fast and friendly. I would give five stars 🌟 if it werent for the extra $ each for almond milk.

  • Review 32 (2019-07-02 - Rating: 4)

Great coffee and very nice shop. Their staff are very attentive and helpful if you have a question about their coffee. The Brazilian cheese bread is a must, I wish theyd warm it up but cold or room temperature is still excellent. Several locations around the city but this one is very nice with a lot of seating available.

  • Review 33 (2017-09-10 - Rating: 5)

Excellent. The cafe is lower than street level, hence it can be hard to find. It goes back a long way, with lots of seats but not a lot of space. I had an Ethiopian Coffee prepared on a Kalita Wave, which was lovely. Very well made, with clear flavour notes and a good body - a very balanced brew. Price was a dollar more than Blue Bottle but it was very well prepared! Staff are pretty friendly, even when busy. Excellent, highly recommended!

  • Review 34 (2020-01-01 - Rating: 4)

IN general great coffee place 8/10. The whole coffee section is really recommended. They put effort in their coffee and for the US is really good one and recommended (hard to find good coffee).Staff is nice and helpful, not patronizing as NYC and very helpful. As for the pastries, I guess pretty good for U.S standard but for middle Eastern or European standards is pretty bad. Dry dough, not heated even when asked ( kitchen closed) and in general can do so much better in this matter.I would recommend for coffee and glass of water soda.

  • Review 35 (2021-05-26 - Rating: 5)

This coffee shop was given five stars. The entire team is still willing to help you. I was still impressed by their coffees, dinners, and utilities. This spot immediately puts you at ease and helps you feel at home. The decor is unique, and its an excellent location for an Instagram snap. Highly suggested!

  • Review 36 (2017-08-13 - Rating: 5)

Glad that we stopped by for a quick caffeine fix. Great coffee in a relaxed atmosphere. (If the tables in the front are taken, look in the back.) We had just eaten so it was hard to resist the pastries because they all looked so good... And the food from the kitchen smells tasty. We are definitely going back for breakfast.

  • Review 37 (2024-08-05 - Rating: 5)

No idea why this coffee place only gets a 4.2 - I’ve tried every coffee shop around this area and this was by far the best drip coffee I’ve had. The staff were also super nice, pointing me towards where I could change my daughter’s diaper. Croissant was also as good as any in the area.

  • Review 38 (2019-02-21 - Rating: 4)

Really like Irving Farm. Got a Vanilla Maple Latte, was so good! The staff was so helpful and friendly. The bagel was great. I loved the atmosphere! So cute and quaint.

  • Review 39 (2019-09-17 - Rating: 5)

A big fan the breakfast was excellent and wonderful environment

  • Review 40 (2018-06-18 - Rating: 4)

Decently strong cold brew, on the expensive side. Great looking baked goods display but insanely overpriced, although I decided to splurge on a blueberry thyme donut. The frosting was tasty, the cake was a bit dry but maybe that was because it was pretty late in the day. It sort of tasted like a blueberry muffin. Lots of cool donuts and breads. A bunch of food options with average prices avocado toast. The seating in the back has a skylight but no windows. One restroom. Little patio out front with a few tables. Weirdly they dont put the milk out for people to add themselves, instead adding it for you, which just seems a little controlling, although not really a big problem. The staff is friendly and helpful answering questions about various items, including the cola cold brew.

  • Review 41 (2024-04-30 - Rating: 5)

    Good coffee

  • Review 42 (2018-01-20 - Rating: 4)

An authentic New York coffee house.Professional staff and incredibly talented Baristas. It is interesting that there are so many people sitting around with their laptops, tablets, and phones while several customers were standing with coffee and food at hand waiting for a table. There seems to be no limit as to how long you can sit there. If I didnt have to wait so long for a table I would have given this place 5 stars. Yes, the coffee is that good!

  • Review 43 (2023-12-15 - Rating: 5)

A great little coffee shop and not too far from Central Park.

  • Review 44 (2014-09-20 - Rating: 4)

I stayed in the Upper West Side during a recent trip, and I stopped by IF several times. I wanted to branch out and experience something different than my normal Starbucks routine. This coffee shop was lovely. Very friendly employees, a nice environment, and great coffee! They did get my order wrong a couple times though, so no 5 stars.

  • Review 45 (2018-12-30 - Rating: 4)

It is an awesome place. The seating is a bit tight, but good atmosphere. It is cozy. We had cappuccino which was good. The avocado sandwich was superb delicious! Totally recommend this place!

  • Review 46 (2021-03-03 - Rating: 5)

I love Irving Farm! Their coffee is great. Honestly my only complaint is that there isnt more of it! Every-time I finish my coffee all I want is another cup.The staff is friendly an helpful. This is the perfect local coffee shop for me!

  • Review 47 (2022-04-30 - Rating: 5)

Excellent location, excellent interior nice staff. Lets hope and pray it returns to pre covid levels soon they really need it.

  • Review 48 (2024-09-10 - Rating: 4)

Cool local coffee shop. The coffee is ok, you can get some food as well. Nothing really there to make you want to go back. Just a local spot to get a coffee.

  • Review 49 (2016-11-16 - Rating: 5)

This guys know how to make good coffee of course they have great beans ☕️☕️☕️Iced latte is great for summer, great balance in flavors. 😊 food is delicious, to start the day I recommend the granola because is really good!Prices in food, are like in restaurants...$10-20s for sandwiches??Anyways its cool, cool environment. Sometimes nosy and crowded.Must go!

  • Review 50 (2012-10-26 - Rating: 4)

This is a nice cafe with sandwiches, salad and of course good delicious coffee. I got a nice cup of Red Eye and it is strong. I sure woke up from my Sunday brunch from across the street! It is much better than Starbucks. I wish I ordered the drip coffee. I guess I will have to come back next time to try that instead!

  • Review 51 (2022-04-03 - Rating: 5)

This place is decently priced, and has a bigger room in the back with seating. I thought the coffee a refreshingly different from Starbucks and the pumpkin bread was really moist and flavorful. Would go here again

  • Review 52 (2019-08-05 - Rating: 5)

Very good coffee and tasty eats. It was easy to find a place to sit and work. Most tablets are close to an outlet. The avocado toast was superb and the cappuccino was excellent.

  • Review 53 (2016-03-17 - Rating: 4)

Cappuccino was so good, Im still feeling it, also very pretty. Good place to catch up with a friend or do some work. Baked goods are on the higher end ($4.50 for a muffin, $4.95 for a vegan granola square). No wifi unfortunately, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. Also careful sitting too long in the cafe, the smell of food lingered on my sweater.

  • Review 54 (2018-05-03 - Rating: 5)

Very good cafe at upper east area, perfectly roasted bean, very smooth, balance ...

  • Review 55 (2013-02-02 - Rating: 5)

Easily the best coffee and overall cafe experience in the area. Espresso drinks compare with Joe the Art of Coffee, but the seating area is so much nicer. Nice long hours too - never seems to be closed. Excellent fresh beans available for purchase too.

  • Review 56 (2016-05-22 - Rating: 4)

Ive always been able to find a seat when I go in the off hours. I ordered their lox sandwich (without onions) to eat on my bus ride to Boston and it was the perfect meal! Their staff is friendly and informative and the coffee is good.

  • Review 57 (2024-12-20 - Rating: 5)

Super good breakfast and amazing coffee

  • Review 58 (2017-09-07 - Rating: 4)

Nice cafeteria with pastries, muffins, chocolate chip, cinnamon cakes, eggs and bacon and good selection of (American) coffee. Good atmosphere with many young chatting and working on laptops.Dont be alarmed by the (eventual) queue: they are fast in servings.

  • Review 59 (2023-10-18 - Rating: 4)

Nice spacious place in a quiet location. Got a hot matcha latte, good taste.

  • Review 60 (2018-07-12 - Rating: 5)

I really enjoyed it here. The coffee was good and I was able to find a corner space to study. The baristas were very friendly and helpful. I am looking forward to my next visit and trying some food from the menu.

  • Review 61 (2018-11-09 - Rating: 5)

It is not cheap but the coffee and the ambience are great. I no longer drink coffee (I know it sucks but I get decaf Americano) and it was very nice. The sandwiches used to be incredible, I havent had one in a while but I am sure is good.

  • Review 62 (2022-12-30 - Rating: 5)

Great overnight oats and coffee. There is plenty of room to stay and get your work done. However, be sure to have your own hotspot as they do not have Wi-Fi.

  • Review 63 (2023-03-17 - Rating: 5)

Nice place, good coffee and the best banana bread 😁

  • Review 64 (2018-08-02 - Rating: 5)

Irving Farm has the best coffee on the UWS. Also, they have Oat Milk which nobody else serves and it is AMAZING. Best drink is iced latte with Oat Milk and a touch of their homemade chocolate. Their food is always fresh, healthy and delicious. Best place for local informal business meetings and catch ups with friends!

  • Review 65 (2022-09-24 - Rating: 5)

Perfect place to sit and get some work done. Good coffee. My cinnamon bun was dry. I would skip it next time. Plenty of seating with outlets, comfortable, quiet, cozy.

  • Review 66 (2020-01-21 - Rating: 5)

Really tasty black coffee (got the house blend, but the single origin looked great too), and lots of seating. Great spot to catch up with friends, read, or study. They have some stuff to eat too.

  • Review 67 (2019-01-21 - Rating: 5)

Delicious teas and hot chocolate. This is a great place to study/work or hangout. They have lots of seating but I think theres no wifi. They also offer several food options which are pretty good.

  • Review 68 (2018-05-06 - Rating: 5)

Such a pleasure coming here! I come from the East Side because their menu is different and Im obsessed with the ham and gruyere croissant sandwich. Staff is always so kind and accommodating. Yes, pricy, but its a total treat and Im always greeted with smiles and courtesy.

  • Review 69 (2016-08-04 - Rating: 4)

I definitely like this spot, which is always crowded. I wish the line was better arranged so you dont have to go back through the line to get your drink after you order. This is just one of those things one has to deal with in this city. Irving is great coffee though.

  • Review 70 (2019-08-13 - Rating: 4)

I go to Irving Farm for great Matcha tea lattes, but its also a solid stop for caffeinating in in general -- they have an excellent house blend which I often pick up as whole beans to take home. Very simple menu has options that are decent for a light bite.

  • Review 71 (2017-03-16 - Rating: 4)

Great little spot. Had a small meeting over coffee and they never even gave us crap for tying up tables when it was obviously busy. My cappuccino was a bit spendy for the size, but expertly well done. Ill definitely be back.

  • Review 72 (2017-11-09 - Rating: 5)

Get the rosewater shortbread cookies at the front!!!!!! Best cookies in the world. IF you like rose flavored things, that is. I LOVE their coffee and the back wall. Great place to sip coffee, read, do work, catch up with a good friend. Also might run into some awkward first date conversations next to you.

  • Review 73 (2017-02-18 - Rating: 4)

Great coffee and nice sitting area for meetings or to pull your laptop out. Has almond milk! I dont usually go for the food, but they have a lot of sandwich and sweet options.

  • Review 74 (2024-04-06 - Rating: 4)

Great place to work if you dont need wifi. Also the cell service is really bad if you sit inside.

  • Review 75 (2013-08-05 - Rating: 4)

The UWS is experiencing a café revival these days, and Irving Farm is one of the best things to come out of this particular boom. It has almost everything a café needs to be the best: ample space with plenty of nooks and crannies, comfortable seating, good light, tasty food, good drinks, and decent prices. The only thing its missing is Wi-Fi, but even thats not such a big deal. Sometimes you need a place to get away from the Internets. The well-designed space is my favorite part. Theres a front area for people whore just dropping in, a back area for people who intend to settle for a bit, and even a little hidden nook for people who dont want to be bothered with others yet still want to soak up the atmosphere. The chairs are okay for sitting in at long stretches, but grab one of the couchy seats along the wall if you can. There are some outlets, but the ones in the back are tucked under the couch things and you have to practically get on your hands and knees to see or reach them. Though theres no WiFi they seem friendly to the laptop crowd.Ive tried several drinks and so far Im a fan. The chai is a bit too spicy for me but will likely please people who crave real chai and not the faux chai most places serve now. (I admit my love for faux chai.)The food Ive had so far is also really good. The prices are a bit high, but this is the UWS were talking about. Gotta pay the rent somehow. The portions are good, at least. Especially the salads. The staff is always speedy and pleasant and seem to enjoy their jobs.Oh, and the bathroom is big and so far) very clean. While I will probably not cheat on Vagabond Café downtown too much with this place, its likely to become my regular Monday haunt. Or where I go when I have no self control yet need to stay off of Twitter.

  • Review 76 (2021-11-08 - Rating: 5)

The coffee I had here was maybe the best Ive had in the city. The staff is super friendly as well. It is a bit pricey, but I think it was worth the price.

  • Review 77 (2020-02-20 - Rating: 5)

I get my coffee beans here. They are roasted fresh, usually a week or two from roast date. A decent variety of roasts and blends. Plus fourth bag is 1/2 price. Homemade espresso #SPOILED!

  • Review 78 (2017-12-13 - Rating: 5)

Perfect Americanos paired with scrumptious croissant sandwiches! We stopped by daily while visiting NYC.

  • Review 79 (2016-09-25 - Rating: 5)

No wifi, dont be fooled by the many laptops around. However, the cider was amazing. The mocha was good and the Barrister was knowledgeable. Nice little nook. Not too big not too small.

  • Review 80 (2024-07-30 - Rating: 5)

Cozy, comfy, warm, all that you need from a coffee shop. My go to on UWS.

  • Review 81 (2019-06-26 - Rating: 5)

My favorite coffee in NYC - maybe best paired with Levain cookies??

  • Review 82 (2022-11-08 - Rating: 4)

    Great espresso drinks, decent pastries.

  • Review 83 (2017-08-24 - Rating: 5)

Come here whenever we visit NY. Great coffee. Fun experience

  • Review 84 (2019-08-03 - Rating: 5)

Looks small from the outside, but theres a decent amount of space inside to get some work done. The bagels here are also great, and the regular coffee too of course.

  • Review 85 (2017-05-14 - Rating: 5)

Great coffee (5 star worthy)Solid food options.Delicious desserts.Downsides: no wifi! Also, can get very crowded on the weekend.

  • Review 86 (2019-04-07 - Rating: 5)

We got the avocado and cheese, but they were out of croissants, so we got sourdough instead. We also added ham and the sandwich was spicy and so delicious. Highly recommend!

  • Review 87 (2018-02-18 - Rating: 5)

The best drip coffee Ive had in NYC, the food options are yummy too. Not the place to work though-- it is crazy busy, hard to find a seat, and no WIFI.

  • Review 88 (2022-01-28 - Rating: 4)

Really good coffee. Food is pretty similar to Starbucks. Big, cool space with lots of seating - almost like if WeWork had a coffee shop. Pricing was the same as any other high-end coffee shop in the city. Only complaint is that there’s no Wi-Fi. 5 stars if you bring your own hot spot though.

  • Review 89 (2015-10-06 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 94 (2021-03-14 - Rating: 5)

An awesome place with absolutely amazing coffee. Really good spot for brunch or simply to grab a cup of coffee. Sun roof is awesome too!

  • Review 95 (2018-01-26 - Rating: 4)

A good Irving Farms location. Lots of seating, but always seems to be crowded. If you can snag a spot, great place to spend some time working or reading. Food is a bit pricey.

  • Review 96 (2019-05-03 - Rating: 5)

Exceedingly well-sourced, roasted, and served coffee. I haven’t tried any of the food except a side of hummus, which tastes of mild garlic and lemon with substantial texture.

  • Review 97 (2020-02-17 - Rating: 5)

    Very good coffees and breakfast.

Wow what a great coffee place! And its not just coffee...they even have draft beer. Definitely plan to go back multiple times to experience it in multiple ways.

  • Review 102 (2022-05-24 - Rating: 4)

Really like the vibeThe cold brew is phenomenal!

  • Review 103 (2024-08-16 - Rating: 5)

    The best coffee in NYC.

  • Review 104 (2017-10-08 - Rating: 5)

Friendly staff, more than your ordinary coffee shop but nothing to write home about either. Decent food and hip looking drinks, i.e. iced coffee in a jam jar.

  • Review 105 (2022-05-29 - Rating: 5)

Smooth and delicious coffee! I absolutely love this place! I just can’t get enough of this coffee! Super addicted!I am not sure what is all involved with the coffee bean roasting process, but the coffee is so smooth and silky, especially with oat milk and honey. It all sounds mundane, but the coffee is different. So good!

  • Review 106 (2019-01-03 - Rating: 5)

Love the cozy interior and excellent brunch!! Coffee was great but this place is not cheap. Not super expensive either.

  • Review 107 (2021-12-16 - Rating: 5)

An excellent cup of coffee and very cozy vibe. Staff were very helpful and got our coffees done very quickly.

Favorite coffee shop on the UWS

  • Review 109 (2017-04-05 - Rating: 5)

This place has good coffee, cider and cookies.

  • Review 110 (2019-11-14 - Rating: 4)

My favorite coffee shop to get some work done. No wifi, plenty of wall plugs, low light and the ideal volume of coffee-machine-and-conversation sounds.

  • Review 111 (2019-10-20 - Rating: 5)

Amazing coffee place in NY 💜💜💜.Please add WiFi for tourists like me☺️☺️☺️

  • Review 112 (2019-07-30 - Rating: 4)

Awesome coffee! Great environment and we even purchased a bag of beans to take home with us!

  • Review 113 (2018-11-12 - Rating: 5)

Afternoon tea after walking around in Central Park. We ordered peacan pie and cortado and latte. Their cortado has strong but smooth flavor which I like it. And exact great sweetness for the peacan pie.

  • Review 114 (2024-02-17 - Rating: 4)

I got the maple oat latte which was so good. The cashier was extremely friendly and seemed to love her job. The atmosphere was fine - it was late Saturday morning and it was pretty busy. Service was pretty slow but Im assuming thats because it was so busy. We waited about 15 mins after our drinks came for our food so it may not be the best choice if youre in a hurry.

  • Review 115 (2014-10-17 - Rating: 4)

Great coffee for a good price! 4 stars because the absence of WI-FI, otherwise could have get 5 stars easily.

  • Review 116 (2015-10-01 - Rating: 5)

Super helpful, friendly, honest people behind the counter. Theyll tell you whats good *and* whats not. (For example get the pumpkin seed milk latte cold, not hot.)

    Loved this place!

  • Review 118 (2022-05-26 - Rating: 5)

Lovely coffee/ tea experience. Sat outside because it was such a lovely day.

  • Review 119 (2019-04-29 - Rating: 4)

Good Brewed coffee but not awesome.I had the 71 blend conventionally brewed with some soy milk.Worth the trip down the half flight of stairs.Cool and hip inside - looks like a good place to chill and laptop or have a quiet conversation with a friend. Also has a food menu.

  • Review 120 (2018-05-16 - Rating: 4)

Great seating inside with an intimate, yet non-claustrophobic, vibe. Coffee, tea, salads, sandwiches, and baked goods sold, and prepared, on site.

  • Review 122 (2013-03-16 - Rating: 5)

A very nice place for lunch in the neighborhood. The main drawback is that theres no wifi, but thats their choice, in terms of the atmosphere.

  • Review 123 (2022-07-03 - Rating: 4)

Spacious with a lot of seating and plug points. One star off because theres no wifi.

  • Review 124 (2023-02-03 - Rating: 5)

I liked the cream cheese pastry

Fast and friendly. The staff are all very pleasant and the coffee is amazing.

  • Review 126 (2022-10-29 - Rating: 4)

Plenty of space in the back. Service is OK reason of reducing a star, be kind.

Great coffee and delicious lunch choices

  • Review 132 (2019-09-04 - Rating: 5)

Irving Farm at pretty much every location in the city shows a great ambiance. This one in Upper West Side is definitely one of them.

  • Review 133 (2017-12-24 - Rating: 4)

Good coffee, tasty pastries, but keep note they dont have WiFi

  • Review 134 (2016-09-28 - Rating: 5)

The best place in the area to go for coffee. Unfortunately no WiFi, but everything else is enough to make up for that.

  • Review 135 (2019-02-18 - Rating: 4)

Nice coffee but this is not an ideal coffee shop for working online - they dont provide Wi-Fi

  • Review 136 (2013-10-17 - Rating: 4)

Our go-to place for coffee on the UWS. We get the espresso or the dirty chai and a fresh-baked cookie.

  • Review 137 (2019-08-29 - Rating: 5)

Seek it out. Great coffee, snacks, atmosphere. Good location, right off the 1 between the parks.

  • Review 138 (2019-09-13 - Rating: 4)

Quaint atmosphere, urban and robust aroma. Distinctive pastries. The line was too long, but Ill be back!!

  • Review 139 (2016-07-02 - Rating: 5)

Love the coffee and atmosphere here. There is lots of room to lounge and relax. The staff are friendly and they serve alcohol too.

  • Review 140 (2016-07-27 - Rating: 4)

Lattes here are good. Milk is steamed perfectly. Line can be a bit long and the place gets loud.

  • Review 141 (2019-10-08 - Rating: 5)

Love love love this place. The coffee is one of the best I’ve had. Cappuccino with oat milk (oatly barista) is delicious!

  • Review 142 (2018-04-12 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 143 (2016-05-18 - Rating: 4)

Nice local coffee shop, Ive save it in my little coffee shop list . Ps. The Rwanda pour over is perfect.

  • Review 144 (2016-09-09 - Rating: 5)

No WiFi, but its a great place to meet, read, study, and chat with people. The pours are amazing!

  • Review 145 (2016-12-19 - Rating: 5)

A lot of coffee options as well as food. A place you expect to find in Williamsburg rather than upper west side, which is a compliment

  • Review 146 (2023-12-01 - Rating: 5)

Great baristas and a good place to sit and chat or work individually inside. The back room has a pretty skylight that really lightens up the space! And Irving farm coffee, of course, is a 10/10 in NYC.

  • Review 147 (2019-12-31 - Rating: 5)

    Great selection of donuts!

  • Review 148 (2016-12-09 - Rating: 5)

Excellent coffee, super easy service 👍🏻 my favorits: cappuccino or chai latte.

  • Review 149 (2019-11-23 - Rating: 4)

First class coffee, sweets and sandwiches. Seating available inside and outside as well during the warmer months.

  • Review 150 (2023-10-18 - Rating: 4)

Four stars for good coffee which is why you are going. Also plenty of space to get some stuff done on laptop. Breakfast burrito def overpriced. Small and cold on the inside. But probably should go to a coffee shop in NYC for a burrito. So that’s on me. Restrooms weren’t clean. Overall a decent coffee shop. Friendly staff. Solid 4 stars. Thanks!
