The best matcha latte (organic), I dont know how they achieve such perfect ratio of milk (I had soy) to matcha, it is rare I can really say that.Cosy rustic ambiance with Nordic feel, cutest sheep decor on the walls. Overall, the menu is a combo of healthy foods and pastries which looked nice.

  • Review 2 (2024-07-01 - Rating: 5)

The atmosphere was very nice, and the decor was lovely. I had a black drip coffee, and its delicate flavor satisfied my caffeine craving.

  • Review 3 (2024-06-30 - Rating: 4)

Delicious Coffee and Friendly AtmosphereThis coffee shop serves delicious coffee and even made my favorite drink, a magic coffee (a ristretto cortado). The staff is energetic and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Its a cute spot to get some work done with realizable WiFi, although there are no outlets available.

  • Review 4 (2024-09-16 - Rating: 4)

Yummy cardamom bun! Great treat after a work out. Coffee is great, not too milky. It’s also quaint inside with lovely design accents.

  • Review 5 (2024-09-09 - Rating: 4)

Cool little coffee shop with very friendly vibes. Great place for a quick cup of coffee on the go or to sit down and relax. Plenty of people on laptops inside too. The coffee is sourced responsibly and the food is farm to table. The beans are roasted in Red Hook, Brooklyn. I definitely recommend coming here to whether it’s for a cup of coffee or just to say hi!

  • Review 6 (2024-07-06 - Rating: 5)

I had the cardamon latte today, and it very well be one of the best coffees I have ever had. Service was also very fast. While Im not in the area often, I will make a point to try the rest of the menu.

  • Review 7 (2024-12-21 - Rating: 4)

The vegan muffin was pretty good. Free wifi.

  • Review 8 (2022-10-22 - Rating: 5)

Great coffee and good service. They have several types of coffee beans for all tastes. Good service and healthy alternatives

  • Review 9 (2023-01-01 - Rating: 4)

Kaffee Landskap (South) is a nice cafe to get a bite to eat and enjoy a reliably great cup of coffee. I somewhat prefer the interior of their main location to the north of this one, but they’ve still done a great job at this location by the same offering tasty food options and coffee.

  • Review 10 (2022-11-10 - Rating: 5)

Great place!! Awesome food, great costomer service. In all this place is so good, the food is so yummy and healthy, and the coffee is great.I had a cheese egg sandwich, AMAZING EGG, but I couldn’t really taste much cheese, maybe more cheese next time.Other than that everything is so fast and great, the buzzer was fun for my children because they were waiting for it to buzz the whole time 🥰Probably best NY experience (restaurant)!

  • Review 11 (2024-06-19 - Rating: 5)

The café boasted a quaint exterior, and the pastries were not only visually appealing but also slightly healthier than usual options. When I asked the barista about her preferred pour-overs, she admitted to having tried only two. This appeared to be an easy problem to solve. Nonetheless, my coffee, brewed with a Kalita-style dripper, was excellent. My cardamom bun was delicious, though the grinder left some large pieces. While I didnt need the added crunch, I appreciated the generous amount of cardamom.

  • Review 12 (2024-07-23 - Rating: 4)

Trendy cofee shop with rich variety of cafinated drinks and complimentary sandwiches.

  • Review 13 (2019-11-14 - Rating: 5)

The coffee is good and the tables are not so comfortable that you can stay in groups for a long time. It’s comfortable and has healthy food options as well as all decor for sale. (Sheep.) it’s super dark in here.

  • Review 14 (2024-06-19 - Rating: 4)

A nice cafe to work from. Though seats are plenty, it was relatively busy when I went. There is a clean restroom in the basement, which is always a huge plus. I ordered a blue bowl. They were nice enough to sub the banana for me. Though I was a little disappointed at the bowl. The toppings felt skimpy to me. I forgot the bowl came with cacao nibs until I felt a bite and saw there were a few more. The housemade granola is tasty, vegan and gluten free for all my friends who need to know.

  • Review 15 (2024-11-10 - Rating: 5)

Great coffee shop with an inviting atmosphere, but more importantly delicious coffee!

  • Review 16 (2017-12-22 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 17 (2024-10-08 - Rating: 5)

This place is always my go-to. I always order the cold brew, which is great and they serve you in less than a minute . That’s why I always go there .And the workers are really great and friendly

  • Review 18 (2023-02-22 - Rating: 5)

Stopped in for a quick shot. The barista was super friendly and shared his recipe so I could replicate the delicious nectar from the coffee gods at home. Left w a bag of their Ecotone Espresso, been enjoying it all week.

  • Review 19 (2022-11-21 - Rating: 5)

Great coffe, nice servers and the food is really good!

  • Review 20 (2023-08-07 - Rating: 4)

Great place for an iced matcha latte. It’s a little expensive ($8) but they have great place to sit inside, friendly service too.

  • Review 21 (2024-07-29 - Rating: 4)

Amazing biscuit, good Chai, nice place - no bathroom :/ does have WiFi though

  • Review 22 (2019-10-22 - Rating: 5)

Really great coffee! Croissant was good but so so compared to Europian style croissants

  • Review 23 (2023-11-13 - Rating: 5)

Solid speciality coffee option in financial district with decent single origins. I try to visit every time Im in the city. Roasts were a bit dark for my personal liking on my most recent visit, but that seems to be NY these days.

  • Review 24 (2023-08-27 - Rating: 5)

The coffee was tasty. Lots of space to sit, cute wooden chairs.

  • Review 25 (2023-09-27 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 27 (2023-08-01 - Rating: 5)

Adorable little coffee shop with reasonable pricing. The lighting is very low providing a cozy and soothing work environment. There is free Wi-Fi but no convenience outlets so come with your device fully charged.

  • Review 28 (2024-01-12 - Rating: 5)

Great coffee at Kaffe Landskap and a lovely seating area. Definitely a busy spot in the morning with a larger breakfast and lunch menu than most coffee shops.

  • Review 29 (2023-09-14 - Rating: 5)

I came here when I lived and worked in NYC, and it was called Kaffe 1668 at that time. Im not sure if ownership changed, but I remember that the coffee was full of wooden lambs. It was so cute. Wed stop by after a grocery run nearby, or whenever I craved a latte. Their iced and hot lattes were soooo good.

  • Review 30 (2023-08-15 - Rating: 5)

I always try to seek out good craft coffee when travelling and was not sissapointed here. A great coffee and had an amazing acai bowl too. We revisited here and didnt find better coffee in our visit

  • Review 31 (2024-02-21 - Rating: 5)

Good coffee and vegan cookie 🍪

  • Review 32 (2024-01-24 - Rating: 5)

Lots of wooden tables and chairs with a comfy scandi aesthetic. Coffee is well-balanced.

  • Review 33 (2022-02-11 - Rating: 4)

Used to be my coffee place before I moved to Soho. Love this place.

  • Review 34 (2024-04-17 - Rating: 4)

Good cardamom bun, carbs and smor are better but lovely cute location and chill vibe. cardamom buns could be a bit moister and fresher - i went late morning and expected a fresher pastry. that slide it was still a good pastry and the coffee was good, not incredible. go for the calming atmosphere. average prices.

  • Review 35 (2024-03-10 - Rating: 4)

Wifi, bath room, healthy food and drinks!👌

  • Review 36 (2023-12-20 - Rating: 5)

My favorite coffee of NY.Why? because it has the best latte and also the best fresh plaint croissant. Ive been walking the entire city trying different coffee shops and this was the best. The attention is very good, the place is cozy and the location is awesome. Recommended for also remote working.

  • Review 37 (2020-02-09 - Rating: 4)

Fun spot. Lively. Great coffee. Fun decor.

  • Review 38 (2019-03-06 - Rating: 5)

One of the better shops you can go to, hard to be disappointed even with the most exacting standards! An independent roaster, check. The baristas are well trained and will answer whatever questions you have about the coffee fluently, check. They know how to make properly executed espresso and/or steamed milk, check. They may only have one espresso on offer at a time, but its good and has character. The space is comfortable, cozy, contemporary and had an aesthetic of its own. So yeah, maybe the coffee wont make you double take but its perfectly good. Were lucky to have shops that cover all these bases.

  • Review 39 (2019-05-15 - Rating: 5)

Small place but with lots of atmosphere and good coffee. The service is polite and efficient, location strategic and reachable easily by subway for those who dont live in the area. Pastry is also good, well curated and well kept, a good and hip breakfast stop over.

  • Review 40 (2022-06-22 - Rating: 4)

Working nomad: good place to sit and do work but doesn’t have a homey feel. Very cookie cutter and overpriced nyc vibe. Food seems meh except for drinks.

  • Review 41 (2020-11-07 - Rating: 4)

I ordered the open road, which is a basic breakfast plate with eggs, meat (I got sausage), potatoes and pancakes (or French toast). I was utterly satisfied and felt it was well worth the fifteen dollars for a large brunch. My girlfriend also got the pulled pork, roasted onion, and jack cheese scramble that was so good I wish I ordered it. Overall great brunch!

  • Review 42 (2012-07-21 - Rating: 5)

Great little coffee house by the WTC. Coffee is excellent, both espresso drinks and brewed cups. Multiple brews every day. Staff was friendly and efficient, especially during the morning rush. Free wireless with an amusing password. Enough space so that seats were always available. Clientele ranged from dads with strollers to suits. Great place!

  • Review 43 (2024-02-06 - Rating: 5)

If you like coffee, you will like this place!

  • Review 44 (2015-03-30 - Rating: 5)

This cafe is so awesome! I really like it here, the coffee is fresh and the drinks are made with care. Its going to cost you a bit more, but it is something special. The interior is welcoming and people come here to catch up with friends. There are seating areas downstairs for studying.

  • Review 45 (2017-03-12 - Rating: 5)

Super cute TriBeCa spot. I loved the coffee. The amazing vibe. I went there on Saturday and Sunday and there was always a table for me to do some quick work before starting my day (I came around 9:30/10am. Super nice barista and overall very attentive.Their pastry collection also looks fantastic and my only regret is not trying one. You can easily miss the coffee shop if you are not looking for it. But if you do find it, it is amazing.

  • Review 46 (2019-04-18 - Rating: 5)

A decent coffee shop that deserves its location and space. Unlike a growing number of cafes in downtown trying to make their atmosphere quick, instant, and somewhat hectic for better customer circulation, this place provides much more relaxed and cozy ambience while maintaining friendly service. If I happen to pass by the area again, I will definitely make a stop here.

  • Review 47 (2019-11-22 - Rating: 4)

Great environment to kick back do some work or catch up on social media. Had a soup and sandwich both very good. Was out with a local who said they are known for their coffee. So had to have one Personally have had better coffee which is why a 4 star,

  • Review 48 (2024-02-12 - Rating: 5)

This cozy cafe offers delicious single-origin coffees, cold-pressed juices, and light fare. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the friendly service. Highly recommend this coffee shop.

  • Review 49 (2024-10-02 - Rating: 5)

Overall a really nice place with good coffee. The only inconvenience is the bathroom (downstairs through the kitchen which is a bit hard to get to)

  • Review 50 (2015-06-21 - Rating: 5)

Excellent service and coffee. When I was there the steamer was on the fritz so the coffee took a little long to be ready, so they gave me a coupon for a free drink AND a full refund. Plus the coffee was excellent. Really cool decor too.

  • Review 51 (2012-12-11 - Rating: 4)

The espresso here is quite good, but still lacking compared to a real top quality coffee bar. This may be the best coffee bar in the neighborhood though, so I do visit regularly. The cafe is dark and quite friendly. The Batista are all studenty and urban cool - they all look like models from a new designers first portfolio. The biscotti are nice too.

  • Review 52 (2021-12-29 - Rating: 5)

Had breakfast burrito and latte, both were delicious and free wifi made it sweeter. The only thing is that the ceiling fan looked super dirty, was thankful that its not summer and I didnt have to inhale the dust.

  • Review 53 (2023-08-02 - Rating: 5)

Great coffee and Breakfest burrito. The staff was also very nice and it’s a hidden gem among the skyscrapers. Can very much recommend this place.

  • Review 54 (2023-02-03 - Rating: 4)

I make kanelbullar - I know they take time, finesse, and patience. They are best when eaten the day they are made . This one had excellent cardamom flavor. But not as fresh as I prefer. The coffee was good 4/5. Service was fast and efficient, pleasant surroundings- somewhat approaches the kaffe- feeling in Norway and Sweden. Prices are average for New York- cheaper than Sweden and Norway ! Enjoyable !

  • Review 55 (2013-11-24 - Rating: 4)

Great coffee and the shop has a good vibe to it.Most of the coffee starts at $3 and its all made fresh after you order on a coffee maker they looks like pistons. If you can put up with the yuppies and stroller nazis that usually have their coffee to stay then sitting down in the store is a nice time

  • Review 56 (2016-09-26 - Rating: 4)

Solid espresso (good but Ive had better), delicious pasties (fantastic pan au chocolate and buttermilk biscuit highly recommended; I also appreciate that they keep them in a case so the bugs dont have a party in all that sugar), served in a funky low-light space with a handful of small tables in the back and a huge communal table up front. Best spot in the area.

  • Review 57 (2019-09-24 - Rating: 4)

A nice place to get a coffee, they charge just as much as that other place they have seating but a lot of people set up camp in there so it can be hard to find a seat. Most people just order and leave. The wait time is short. Their decaf is good, not to shabby

  • Review 58 (2018-11-17 - Rating: 4)

A real hole in the wall of a coffee shop, but quite frankly I think thats the aesthetic they are going for. As a non-coffee drinker, this is one of the better places to go as far as options go, their teas are rather good and fresh, and the hot chocolate isnt half bad either. The food has always looked decent, but something always holds me back on it, probably the fact that you can pay less for better food anywhere else around, but I digress. Prices arent any worse than the other places around, so it ultimately comes down to preference.

  • Review 59 (2013-06-26 - Rating: 5)

Really glad to finally try Kaffe 1668.. which is a trendy coffee shop in Tribeca. Got the black cat cold brew. Its very black and strong, but without bitter or sour taste! This was exactly what I needed for a hot summer afternoon. The space is very cozy - can definitely picture myself reading/working or chatting with a friend or two in the cafe.Service was quick and friendly. Will return soon!

  • Review 60 (2018-05-15 - Rating: 5)

Really good coffee/espresso. And nice sheep:-)

  • Review 61 (2013-03-30 - Rating: 5)

Awesome coffee shop in Tribeca! The coffee was dark and strong while not overly bitter or burnt. The service was very friendly and fast. I could probably break my Starbucks habit if I had this great of a coffee shop in my neighborhood. But I guess thats what comes with living in Tribeca!

  • Review 62 (2017-04-01 - Rating: 5)

Great selection of coffee, teas, pastries, and other bites. Friendly and informative staff. Ample seating. Communal table as well as some intimate seating in the back. Overall great neighborhood spot.

  • Review 64 (2016-08-01 - Rating: 4)

The coffee is great, the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is comfy and they have free wi-fi. How could you not love this place? Their single cup coffees are wonderful!

  • Review 65 (2018-02-28 - Rating: 4)

I sat down for a quiet productive work day after buying a 5 dollar mini muffin. This place claims to be work and laptop friendly with the right ambience but there are literally no plug points if you ever want to charge anything.

  • Review 66 (2017-04-20 - Rating: 5)

My favorite coffee shop in the area. There is a great selection of coffee that they prepare as pour over. The pastries are limited but the Swedish biscuits are pretty good.

  • Review 67 (2017-09-26 - Rating: 4)

Great coffee... however the guy who was making coffee really needed one to up his mood

  • Review 68 (2017-01-13 - Rating: 4)

Great place to meet for business or to catch up with a friend. A little dark for my tastes , but good free Wi-Fi despite the fact there are almost no power outlets. Convenient location if you work at Citi across the street.

  • Review 69 (2017-12-28 - Rating: 5)

Im an out-of-town coffee snob that rarely returns to the same coffee shops (life is too short to be routine)... BUT I always return here when in NYC. The coffee is perfect. Staff is tolerable.

  • Review 70 (2018-10-28 - Rating: 4)

The Americano I had was really good. The interior is not large but you will find seating. They have numerous pastries. Friendly staff. Good place to make a stop and refresh.

  • Review 71 (2023-07-27 - Rating: 5)

Very good raw oatmeal with peanut butter and jam. Ice matcha latte ok, normal.

  • Review 72 (2023-06-24 - Rating: 5)

Beautiful cafe front. Baked goods all looked good, while being slightly healthier than the usual fare.I asked the barista taking the orders what her fav pour overs were and shed only tried two of them. I feel like this is an easy fix. It turned out well despite being done on a kalita style brewer. My cardamom bun was delicious, though the grinder left large chunks in. I didnt need crunchy cardamom, though I appreciate how much there was.

  • Review 73 (2013-09-24 - Rating: 5)

This is my favorite. Possibly the best variety of whole bean and brewed coffee in the city. The place itself is not very large- perfect for sitting alone or with a friend. The coffee is always well-chosen and perfectly brewed.

  • Review 74 (2019-09-02 - Rating: 5)

Beautiful place, amazing food, and good prices. I had the oatmeal, açaí bowl, and early grey tea. The only suggestion I can give is to add better descriptions to the menu as the açaí bowl came with a lot of topping that weren’t on the menu but still really good.

  • Review 75 (2022-07-28 - Rating: 4)

The coffee always has a lot of flavor. Today I also had the vegan chocolate loaf, its really good.

Love the environment so cute and unique. The pastries werent that great, the shelves were pretty bare and food stale. Maybe it was just time of day.

I don’t put 5 stars to any venue unless I have been there for 5 times. Only experiencing the venue for a few times I can objectively assess it.Kaffe 1668 South is a nice place to have a coffee in TriBeCa. I passed it several times but never noticed it. I discovered it thanks to my friend. Most of all I adore its ambience and interior. The coffeeshop is literally divided into two salons. There is a huge wooden table where 10-12 people can easily fit in with no intention to make a mess. The second so called area is filled up with separate small tables for couples. The high ceiling and big vans up there maintain a good balance of air in the room. In addition, right by the window there installed a nice wooden bench where 3 people can seat and enjoy their food and have a talk.As for Coffee, I would score it 8 out of 10 which is very good to my point of view. The same concerns pastry.Overall, I enjoyed my time in Kaffe 1668 South.

This is one of my favorite places to buy coffee beans. The roaster they use and the beans they select our top notch. I can’t speak much to the food or drinks but I’m sure they’re excellent. Highly recommended
