Even thought I came in when it was crowded the service from the baristas was great, all of them have positive energy and look happy. My drink was delicious, I got the Oat Nog Latte and loved it ! -
Review 2 (2024-11-02 - Rating: 5)
I love this location. The Baristas are really are great at what they do and very personable, especially the girl with the brown streak hair and glasses and the young red head girl. Best place in the neighborhood! -
Review 3 (2024-07-15 - Rating: 5)
I stopped in here to purchase a bag of coffee and asked for a few recommendations, I was given a few options and we narrowed down to one that I’d probably like based on other coffees I’ve tried. The customer service was exceptional and I would definitely visit again. Pricing wasn’t bad either and the bagged coffee includes a free cold brew or drip coffee. -

I love the atmosphere but coffees are just eh. 6/10 -
Review 5 (2021-08-23 - Rating: 5)
I love La Colombe because it is a Philadelphia brand that has expanded and made a name for itself up and down the East Coast. I was all too happy to see locations like this one start popping up in NYC.We visited before Covid so the atmosphere in here is awesome. They have a standing espresso bar that is very European.Personally, I prefer their cold coffee but you cant go wrong with anything on their menu. Definitely checkout one of their locations though. Its a nice alternative to Starbucks. -
Review 6 (2017-01-27 - Rating: 5)
Of all the coffee we tried in New York (and we tried a lot), I liked this the best. The brew is exceptionally well balanced with just enough brightness to give it an edge, yet not enough to make it leave a sour aftertaste. It also seems to be quite high in caffeine, so be aware; if your normal dose is 2 double espressos, stop after the first or you might feel like youre a spaceman...Highly recommended! -

This was my first time at this location of La Colombe Coffee Roasters, but not my first time at a La Colombe. My life partner and I were in the area to participate in an Open Reiki Circle a few blocks away from this La Colombe, and since we were early, we stopped in for a coffee and a sweet treat (although my life partner had a hot tea and a sweet treat). The person who took our orders is WONDERFUL! Ido not know this persons name, but had brown hair and eyeglasses. This person was so professional, polite and changed the in-store playlist to play DISCO! Disco is forever, baby! I look forward to returning the next time I AM in the area. -

This. place has an amazing cold coffee on draft in two different varieties: black, or latte. You can order it as a black and tan which is half and half. It is smooth, milky, and delicious. They pour the coffee from a tap just like a draft beer. You cant really get a cold/iced coffee like this anywhere else. They also sell their coffee lattes in cans which are also great. This particular location is crowded and the staff is not super nice. Still, if you are in the mood for a cold cup of coffee, it is the best place to get one. -
Review 9 (2018-06-03 - Rating: 5)
Very good coffee in a quaint cafe. Seating is available but very limited. They offer small pastries as well and have cold brew and other coffees on tap. Loose coffee and tea is for sale. There can be a line, but it usually moves fairly quickly.Coming here has the added benefit of being a front row seat to all enormous queue for the Supreme store just next door. -

Nice place, good americano coffee!! Organic energy bites…. Hazelnut flavor very tasty. -
Review 11 (2022-12-23 - Rating: 5)
First of many times visiting this exceptional shop. This is a cozy safe haven for the cold weather in nyc. The hospitality is very warm and the atmosphere is welcoming. Coffee was amazing to say the least. -
Review 12 (2024-03-08 - Rating: 5)
I come to this la colombe location regularly. The coffee is always solid; draft lattes are foamy and creamy, i recommend light ice. Regular iced lattes and iced coffees are also good. Their croissants are also good!! The seating fills up quickly, but if you can grab a seat it’s a pleasant place to read/get some work done, the shop gets some sunlight. That said, don’t come here to take your video/conference calls. It’s a small space -
Review 13 (2022-01-26 - Rating: 5)
This place has the best coffee! They have several locations and if you’re in NYC definitely try La Colombo coffee. Very friendly staff. -
Review 14 (2024-06-20 - Rating: 5)
I’ve been coming here for at least 10 years, IMO it’s one the best if not my favorite third wave coffee spot in the city. Located in the heart of NOHO a short jaunt from the Astor and Bleecker stops on the 6 train. Old past time fave is to grab a cup of coffee and head to Washington Square Park a short walk away. It can get real busy in there but could always find a seat inside or outside. They have water fill up by the back with or without bubbles, which we like on hot summer days. The bathroom is fairly clean and there’s rarely a line. The staff is OK but can act snooty at times as with most of these fufu coffee joints, entitled or overqualified much maybe?Anyhoo they deserve 5 stars cause of the quality coffee, atmosphere and location. Will continue to come here for years to come. -
Review 15 (2017-10-20 - Rating: 5)
Love their coffee! The milk is very well steamed, has a velvety texture. The coffee itself is just nice, well balanced, not too acidic. -
Review 16 (2021-01-03 - Rating: 5)
I love the latte here!It was not sweet as I remebered so I add litttle bit of syrup and it was just PERFECT!!😆P.S.I saw the actor Zachary Quinto here lol 🤣 -

Review 23 (2022-04-11 - Rating: 5)
If you like coffee, I mean really like coffee, well then you need to try La Colombe. Light roast, medium roast, dark roast, wherever your palette is, you will be amazed! Now the the experience at a La Colombe shop is game changing. Every one I’ve visited has its on vibe but connected back with some core original tones. Very clean! Very skilled and friendly staff. I go for the coffee, but the food is very pleasing as well. Thanks Todd and JP🙏 -
Review 24 (2024-01-04 - Rating: 5)
La Colombe stays winning because of winning coffee. whether drip, draft latte, cold brews--the caffeine is consistent + more importantly enjoyable to drink. busy location, pretty well-maintained. never sat here bc New York is always moving so should you if youre a shark. -

Review 27 (2023-11-05 - Rating: 5)
I recently stayed at Moxy nearby and this was my favorite location by far. The crew is extremely hospitable and made the best lattes I’ve ever had in my life. Thank you! -
Review 28 (2019-12-21 - Rating: 5)
Very busy, but the staff took a little bit of extra time to let me try something in order to make sure I liked it. Its a good thing that they did because I did not like it and they pointed me in the direction of something I would like. Its a cool little hole in the wall; Theres not a lot of sitting, but its a great little place to stop by for a quick drink before continuing onwards. The staff are friendly and they have a good selection of drinks. Their whole specialty is their draft line of drinks including coffee and orange juice infused with nitrogen for a very smooth drinking experience. -
Review 29 (2023-12-14 - Rating: 5)
Peaceful atmosphere with good drinks. avoid at rush hours -
Review 30 (2024-12-14 - Rating: 4)
Suffering from its successGetting generic and less authentic -
Review 31 (2018-08-02 - Rating: 5)
It’s worth the wait. There has always been a long line to get in but the coffee is amazing and with so many varieties it’s easy to see why it’s so popular. Fresh pastries are a big plus with the Almond crescent being a great favorite for me well that and the pretzel crescent. They also have whole bean coffee in a large variety for take home for a weekend treat. -
Review 32 (2018-09-23 - Rating: 4)
The coffee is consistently good. But please call our name when our order is ready because we don’t want to accidentally take someone’s oat milk latte 🙉🙊🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ -

Review 36 (2019-01-12 - Rating: 4)
Great and quick service. Definitely try the Draft Latte. It was amazing! Very little seating and I wish the menu was more accessible. -

Review 38 (2018-09-03 - Rating: 5)
Im visiting form Seattle and just needed a iced coffee. Pretty cool space but a bit small. They set you up at the bar to put in milk and simple syrup yourself which was a fun and different experience. -

Review 40 (2023-11-24 - Rating: 4)
My fav NYC coffee shop -
Review 41 (2021-08-02 - Rating: 5)
I adore La Colombe generally. The draft lattes are unreal. So unique. This location has a bit more of a corporate feel than some of their others but it’s nice and fixed up. -
Review 42 (2013-04-15 - Rating: 4)
Artisan coffee and friendly service attracts their customers to come back to this hip establishment. In the morning, the line is out the door, but it goes by pretty quick. They make awesome lattes and a mean almond croissant. The downside is the limited seating. -
Review 43 (2018-05-19 - Rating: 5)
The taste and the look is the best of the best , honestly) pastry also are very yummy -
Review 44 (2024-12-17 - Rating: 5)
Great coffee, small cozy place -
Review 45 (2018-10-20 - Rating: 5)
La Colombe makes absolutely the best coffee. You can get coffee or tea and some pastries, but you will not find drinks for children unlike other cafes. Also, the seatings are very limited and can sit probably 10 people at most. If you are looking for a place to sit or go with children, this may not be suitable. This place has self serve water pitcher and glasses by the counter and it doesn’t have a restroom. -
Review 46 (2012-11-25 - Rating: 4)
This is one of the biggest coffee shops I have been to and it is definitely one of the best in the city. I am so tired of Starbucks popping up at every corner although the best beverages they have are the $4.5+ espresso ones. Their dark coffee is pretty tasteless and bitter.La Colombe has some really serious black coffee for $2. It is also cheaper than Starbucks. This place is occupied by hipsters and students in the neighborhood. The only thing I didnt like was that the waitress was very slow at placing order. We waited for like 5 minutes because she was so focused on chatting with a group of people with us that she did not bother to take our orders.I wonder if they have good Espresso drinks? -
Review 47 (2013-10-20 - Rating: 4)
Came here and as expected, there was a long line, but the wait wasnt that long, about 5-10 minutes. There is no menu, so make sure you know what you want before you get to the cashier. The interior space is very small and it is going to be hard to find a seat if you want to sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee. I tried ordering a soy latte but apparently, they dont have soy. I ordered a regular latte and it was OK. The coffee was definitely bold and delicous, but it wasnt WOW like the other Yelpers on here have been saying. Didnt think the wait was really worth it.I felt that this place was somewhat disorganized. The garbage in the garbage bin was starting to pile up and overflow while there was a lot of finished in-house coffee lying around waiting to be taken by the server. -
Review 48 (2018-01-23 - Rating: 4)
Amazing draft latte !!! Coffee has never tasted this good, would 100% recommend. Downside is that there is no room to sit down in the actual coffee shop, you must go next door as the space is shared between the two businesses. -
Review 49 (2015-06-16 - Rating: 4)
Coffee is always good, and the line moves! No wifi of course, and its hard to secure a seat.If you come after noon be sure to get the olive bread. Its extremely soft, moist and is simultaneously sweet and savoury. Most of all I appreciate that it goes well with black coffee.Would advise against the almond croissant unless you are a big fan of icing sugar. They get their croissants from Balthazar but I still cant get behind the amount of sugar that comes with the pastry. If this is at all a concern of yours, the barristas are generally cute. -
Review 50 (2023-05-29 - Rating: 4)

Review 53 (2012-01-13 - Rating: 5)
I love la Colombe and its great that they are opening up more locations in New York. This location looks great inside, high ceilings spacious. The coffee is unbelievable. The only problem is the line. It can take quite awhile to order and get your drink. Cest la vie... -
Review 54 (2019-07-19 - Rating: 5)
I’m always a little nervous to try out a popular coffee shop for fear of paying $4 for an undrinkable excuse for espresso or cappuccino. You know how for some reason super bitter, sometimes sour tasting, sometimes burnt tasting coffee seems to be popular these days? I’m all for a nice strong espresso, but this is not strong, it’s just...blech. This is why I always wind up at La Columbe. Consistently delicious, high quality drinks. Just the right amount of foam in a cappuccino, strong and delicious espresso - you wouldn’t think it’d be that hard to find. As long as there’s a La Colombe near you, it’s not. -
Review 55 (2018-12-13 - Rating: 5)
This craft coffee roaster has cafes in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and Washington D.C. CEO and co-founder Todd Carmichael even has his own travel show where he scours the globe for the best beans possible. Natural light floods the New York City location, which has self-serve syrups and draft coffee. Lineups get long if you go first thing in the morning, but service tends to be quite fluid. Cortados (espresso with a small amount of steamed milk) are strong and can also be made with almond milk. Unique baked goods are made in house and include pretzel croissants. Grab some beans on your way out the door if you have become a convert. -
Review 56 (2022-04-12 - Rating: 4)
Good place to have a cup of coffee -
Review 57 (2016-07-13 - Rating: 4)
La Colombe is definitely among the better coffee shops in NYC. I particularly love their new draft Latte! Great use of molecular gastronomy to raise the level of the enjoyment of coffee! -
Review 58 (2015-11-16 - Rating: 5)
Its been awhile since Ive had a proper cup of coffee but this place delivered. We only stayed for a few minutes but the environment was one where it would be more fun to sit and enjoy the atmosphere instead of pulling out the laptop and camping for the day. -
Review 59 (2017-11-05 - Rating: 5)
Delicious every time. This location is hard to find a place to sit but you can make it happen if you come with a friend. One person for drinks, one person for seats.Order the black and tan. Always delicious. -
Review 60 (2022-04-21 - Rating: 5)
Love getting my latte here and the almond croissant was really good!! -
Review 61 (2013-11-26 - Rating: 4)
Excellent coffee, though long lines mornings and weekends. A good place to buy a bag of beans, though they dont give a free cup of coffee with the purchase like many places. A few small tables. -
Review 62 (2013-06-16 - Rating: 5)
This is the type of place where youve gotta know what you want before ordering. There isnt a menu, but they make the usual drinks: Iced / Regular coffee, expresso, lattes, and more caffeinated fixes. I like the cute espresso mugs. -
Review 63 (2023-06-16 - Rating: 5)
While seating might be limited the coffee here is great. Theres also good pasteries and tea here. -
Review 64 (2017-01-11 - Rating: 4)

Review 67 (2013-02-11 - Rating: 5)
I wish I could take this spot and magically transport it to right by my office. Everything I buy here is more flavorful. More eye opening. Just basically, caffeinated amazingness. I hadnt had this until recently and my oh my, Ive been missing out. Even an iced coffee here is incomparable. -
Review 68 (2012-07-17 - Rating: 5)
Gem of a place. Great coffee, great service and they serve you coffee in beautiful cups if you opt to stay in store. They also have fantastic croissants, olive oil cake and cookies. -
Review 69 (2017-11-12 - Rating: 5)
The line moved really quickly even when it was really busy and the staff was uniquely cheerful. I was bummed they didnt have their pour over available here but their drip coffee is a great option. -
Review 70 (2019-06-06 - Rating: 5)

Review 72 (2016-10-18 - Rating: 5)
To me, all coffee can be graded on a 1-3 scale, 3 being the best. This place is a 3. This place isnt cheap, but at least it really is a great cup of coffee. -
Review 73 (2019-05-13 - Rating: 5)
Small place (not sure if its changed or I missed a whole other room) really fantastic coffee with fast moving queues. -

Review 87 (2019-07-12 - Rating: 5)
Trendy coffee shop of the La Colombe brand. Located near busy Astor place, NYU, and Cooper Union campus areas, this is a somewhat upscale, visit-to-be-seen place attracting students, the it-crowd and the young-at-heart. The atmosphere inside is comfortably urban with good WiFi, has nice indoor table and bar seating, and outdoor casual sidewalk seating. It is usually crowded. There is a wonderful water fountain offering flat and fizzy tap water. La Colombe coffee products are available, as well as chocolates, pastries and nibbles. On the pricey side. -
Review 88 (2024-01-29 - Rating: 5)
This is such a nice coffee shop. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. I stop by here for coffee whenever I am visiting Manhattan. Nestled in a nice spot near some of my favorite restaurants, this is definitely a nice spot for a coffee break. Im looking forward to stopping by here again. -

It’s a small space and you won’t have privacy/other patrons will 100% overhear you.The folks at the counter are ALWAYS friendly, quick with service, helpful/answer questions about ingredients. They’re always pleasant and as far as industry standard in food service I never ever see the staff on their phones, even when it’s quiet. They’re seriously great. Big love to the folks at la colombe on lafayette❤️ -

I take my coffee seriously. This place roasts really delicious coffee, the cafes are clean, cute and very popular. As coffee shops go, it’s well known, growing rapidly and consistent. I’ve gone for years before they were well known and packaged offerings hit stores.I used to go out of my way to make sure I passed them since I enjoyed their offerings so much and they felt more independent. With growth and price increases over recent years, I’m finding myself going less frequently and less interested overall. I’d like to see them successful, but find the pricing higher than I’d like for cafes that increasingly feel like Starbucks in different clothing. I feel the same way about blue bottle. It’s been a slow death for me as I really have many fond memories but increasingly don’t recognize in present experiences what drew me initially. -

Coffee is pretty good, but the operation is really just rushed take-out. Too noisy to stay comfortably long enough to drink a coffee.I thought the bakery selection was limited but loved the almond croissant and everything looked fresh. Very genzy kind of operation. -

Colombe is one of the best espressos in the city. Im Italian. If what you are looking for is just espresso, as done in Italy - dark roast, nutty, balanced - this is the place to be. If you like lattes or stuff like that, they have a wide selection too (I guess, Im not into dessert coffees). For me the great thing about Colombe is they manage to pull an espresso as it should be (as opposed to some other espresso places where they use medium roast). Their beans are great, I use them for my espresso machine at home. -

If you want good coffee in SoHo, this is where you should go! Small place and has limited seating. But La Colombe has the best coffee, staff and service. Tried this on the recommendation of a coffee lover, wasn’t disappointed! -

Good coffee but limited seating and no wifi so if you’re looking for a cool coffee shop to park down and work at, this is not the place. -

Coffee was tasty, but sitting area is dirty. Shelves and decoration badly need to be cleaned. -
Review 141 (2016-03-14 - Rating: 4)
This place is great no frills just great coffee! I had a latte and you can tell they use high quality beans. The balance was amazing. Dont except to find a seat as it very limited enough for many 12 people. If you are in the area this is a great stop far better than going to Starbucks! -

Great coffee. Reasonably priced beans. Exceptionally helpful staff. Also, the iced coffee has new lids so you dont need a straw. -

I go here as often as possible. My favorite espresso in the city. The coffee is mostly medium bodied but bold. Not heavily roasted rocket fuel youll find at many popular NYC coffee shops. They do get busy at times and have little seating. -

Like espresso? Love the local cute barista? If you believe in having a high quality coffee at a fair price in a laid back atmosphere, then this is the place to go. They put a shot of espresso in all coffees and have great baked goodies to go with it. A perfect place to meet someone for a coffee or get your drink to-go. -

Quite a long line. The interior space is very small and it is going to be hard to find a seat if you want to sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee. The coffee was definitely bold and delicious, -

Probably the best coffee in NYC. Their espresso is amazing. The baristas are so fast in the morning rush and are also somehow friendly while doing it. I really admire how quickly they work and churn out an amazing coffee. -

Limited seating and even so, the tables are miniature, the size of a dinner plate. Im happy they use reusable cups if you sit in though. Try their draft latte -

One of the best chocolate chip cookies around. And the iced coffee is super strong. Best described as medicinal. Love it -

A tiny little coffee spot that packs a punch!A friend gave me a little bag of their delicious roasted beans for Christmas 2011 and I have been hooked on La Colombes coffee ever since. Service is fast & friendly. If youre in Soho, this is, hands down, one of the best places for coffee in NYC. -

Fantastic coffee but it always feels like theres a line. There are a few little tables and a perfect bench outside, where the people watching gets good, with sneaker heads lining up for supreme. -

The best iced coffee (iced red eye) in the world. Cant go wrong here. The pastries are great too.
