This place is a regular coffee shop. Coffee is not bad (but not even nice). I was disappointed when they gave me not a full cup of coffee (provided on picture). Here’s kinda cozy (for small cheap dates is nice), but not really. So, this place is great if you’re looking for a caffeine dose :)

Very cozy place with great coffee. If you are buying coffee for staying in they will serve your drink in one of their signature cups, but be warned if you come in just before they are about to close (up to 30-35 mins before they close) they will serve you your drink in a cupboard cup because they are washing their glassware for the next day. Great place!

This place has a really good selection of coffees, brews, and other food items. Coffee is at the heart of what they do and the baristas are generally friendly. Prices are normal, nothing low or high, and options are a plenty. Iced latte here is incredible! Good enough space to get some work done with outlets but no wifi unfortunately. During the weekend it can get a bit loud and some days it feels like they close before 6 PM so beware of that.

Beautiful shop. Kind baristas. Lovely Mocha. I like the setup and I enjoy sitting at the bar and seeing the talented baristas at work. If you ask they will juggle the Pacific Foods almond milk and do some crazy pours like you are seeing a bartender in Vegas do. Such a fun time. When you are here you are family. Oh wait that’s… well it’s a good time.

I came here to meet a childhood friends best friend, so it was sort of like a blind date, but it was the perfect place. Its lively, the coffee is delicious, and its in a convenient location. The girls/guys behind the counter work hard to get your order out quickly. The volume is high, so I cant imagine its an excellent place to study...seems like it would be too distracting, but I suppose if you dont mind the noise and the movement, or youre just there to do some light reading, its a nice place to do it. The people watching is fantastic.

I got a hot chai latte to stay, which was really good! It wasn’t too sweet and had ginger notes as well as cinnamon. It was a little expensive but it was good quality. Also, it was a bit crowded, but I did manage to find a seat.

The employees are always nice and the coffee is among my favorites in the city. they move fast so you never wait long even with a long line. lots of great seating space. it’s unfortunate that the woman with long blond braids, who i take to be the manager, is so abrasive. i’ve seen her openly berate employees before, and when they got my drink wrong and made it hot instead of iced she got visibly pissed at me for pointing it out, and rather than making it over she roughly tossed it into a cup of ice, diluting it. poor service.

The coffee here is hands down my favorite. I love getting any of their espresso drinks because their espresso is perfect. It has a smoothness to it thats tough to get out of espresso with some vanilla notes and Im just obsessed. The staff is on top of their game so if you walk in and see a long line, dont worry because they keep it moving quickly. Love this place.

The draft latte at La Colombe is what every iced latte should be - foamy, airy, deliciously textured, and not poured into a cup that’s 90% full of ice and immediately waters down the drink!! I’m totally hooked and can’t order anything else, though I’ve heard the other iced and hot drinks are delicious as well. This location is airy and spacious, with tons of windows and natural light - definitely an excellent environment for enjoying an even better cup of coffee.

Also no flavors (vanilla, etc) for the lattes, theyre here for the down and dirty basics.Unfortunately we sat next to people that were loud and unaccommodating, but thats not on La Colombe- once they left it became a great environment.

The pour over coffee and the pastries were great. The industrial decor with very bright natural light is very soothing and pleasing. I walked here skeptically because of the big chain look, and was blown away by the quality of their products. The baristas seemed a bit chaotic at first, but the results matter and I cant complain about that!

I wouldnt call myself a coffee snob but I do enjoy exploring different flavors, brews, beans from different regions, etc. That said I have made it a point to try and find some of the best coffee in the city. This place hands down has some of the best Ice coffee I have ever had. On another occasion I had an Americano which was easily in the top 5. The espresso was mediocre at best but the and had a bit of a sour taste, but the barista offered to make me another. After another go at it with no crema and a lingering sour taste, she determined the beans werent being ground properly which I agreed with. Either way the atmosphere here is great and the coffee both iced or hot is well worth it. Sometimes there is a bit of a line and you will need to wait to get a seat but thats largely do to the quality of brew you will get in your cup.

Luckily the excellent La Colombe has a flagship store on the way back to the East Side. At La Columbe, a massive temple to the majestic coffee bean, complete with marble decor and massive pillars, any coffee beverage you can imagine will quickly be made by a great barista while you wrap your way around the central bar. The cold brew coffee on tap, as well as what they call a draft latte are delicious, and even better is a combination of the two called a black and tan. The dark coffee stays on the bottom with the light latte at the top due to the magical science of liquid tension. Now you can enjoy a tasty coffee and learn physics! Also, the combination is incredibly smooth and delicious. The baristas are perfectly West Coast here, amazing at making drinks, but a bit relaxed and you may have to repeat your order four or five times.

Pros: Good coffee served in appropriate drinking vessels. Excellent light-filled space. Complimentary water fountain comes as cold, room-temperature, or sparkling. People come single or in pair so noise level is low despite how busy it was.Cons: Bathroom door is completely see-through (drug use prevention?). Music is okay (80s, new wave) at some points and straight up awful (top 40) at others (Who made the playlist? Is there even a playlist?). No wi-fi (you can still connect to Blinks from across the street, youre welcome). No outlets (charge your stuff full beforehand).Its best if you come to sip coffee over a book, rather than try to work on your laptop. Some dude brought his mini watercolor kit and painted beautiful things next to me--so thats also an option.

One of my absolute favorite getaways in the East Village/NoHo neighborhoods and the city in general. No wifi, which just promotes more human beingness. You can focus on incredibly significant activities like people-watching, thinking, shooting the breeze with locals and other such interesting village people, and enjoying the badass coffee and espresso that is la colombe. Ive also seen New Yawk celebrities here (e.g. Chopped judges, local chefs, thespians, etc.). The space is grand enough to feel like you may or may not be in a city, but then the wide-spanning windows remind you that you are and bring in an enormous amount of welcome natural light. Ive never been [insert negative emotion] in this place. Perfect level of ambient cafe chatter to focus on writing/reading.

Some of the best coffee/lattes in NYC. Went here often when I had classes, and I only had one experience when the coffee was below my expectation, which compared to Starbucks or most other cafes/coffee places is definitely good. Id rank it about the same as blue bottle coffee, but has more seating area which is a plus.They had a good Chai oat milk drink on tap too.

This is hands down the best coffee shop in Manhattan. Their lattes are served in elegant glassware. Their pretzel croissants are to die for. They have still and sparkling water on tap. The ceilings are high and the architecture impressive. The wood tabletops and iron stands create an atmosphere of simplicity and neatness. The staff is always extremely professional and competent. Great place to meet a friend or read the newspaper. What more could you ask for in a coffee shop?

Spacious Coffeehouse with many luxe options. Expect a decent, if fast moving line at almost all times. A lot of natural light, and in 2017 they added some new options, like the delicious la Colombe Black and Tan -- which is half draft latter and half cold brew from a tap. Its marvelous and worth going out of your way to get if you are in the area considering another option.

Had a great cappuccino here with a friend. Nice atmosphere. It gets a little full though, so get ready to wait for a seat or claim one quickly. Quick service and helpful staff.

Went with my family even though Im not a coffee dinker. I got the green tea and it was one of the best Ive had in recent memory. The pastries were also high quality. The lines were long, but it moved very fast. Bathrooms were clean also, in case thats the sort off thing your interested in.

Staff was awesome! house espresso was really good. really nice decor. Only complaint is that the seats were all taken so its sort of a battle to find one.
