I’ve been here a few times. Tried their Italian cookies, the sfogliatella and their pistachio cornetto. I liked their pistachio cornetto. Try not to compare them to the pastries in Europe. It’s not going to be the same. Outside seating only.

  • Review 2 (2025-01-02 - Rating: 5)

Super delicious cream cornetto; tastes just like the ones in Italy. Mortadella panino and their espresso and cappuccino were also very tasty. The WiFi was good and they’re “laptop friendly”; although there’s not a lot of space, the music is mellow (perfect for focusing) and there were a few other customers working/studying besides me, making for a good atmosphere to get some work done.

  • Review 3 (2024-04-01 - Rating: 4)

Tasty “Panino Caldo” for 8$. The tiny little orange juice for 3.75$ is quite steep in pricing but maybe normal for NYC? I liked the cozy atmosphere - I would just get rid of single use cutlery when dining in. I mean…come on!Staff was friendly!

Why am I obsessed?!😆 I found this place while looking for a coffee in an unfamiliar neighborhood. Sat solo for a while and was perfectly fine doing so. The coffee is great and hearing customers chatting with the counterperson in Italian transported me away on the rainy afternoon. To my surprise, a friend walked in - she lives across the street and frequents here for lunch (sandwiches). So I guess this is 2 thumbs up.To my surprise,

  • Review 5 (2024-02-19 - Rating: 4)

Nice place. Got a matcha latte and croissant, both were decent. Nice dessert options.

  • Review 6 (2023-09-09 - Rating: 5)

In the heart of Manhattan you can have a real Italian breakfast. Excellent staff ready to advise you on the best one among the various choices. You can drink a real Italian coffee.

  • Review 7 (2022-09-18 - Rating: 5)

Ricotta cheesecake. You need this. Lightly sweet, perfect crust every time. The perfect coffee pastry/dessert. Everything else is amazing too - including the coffee. Super spot in Hells Kitchen!Next door, you can try Masseria dei Vini from the same group. You will NOT be disappointed. :-)

  • Review 8 (2024-08-21 - Rating: 5)

A gem of a café! The coffee here is simply superb - aromatic and flavorful. Their sandwiches are also top-notch, with the mortadella one being a standout. If youre looking for a delightful spot for a quick bite, this place is definitely worth a visit.

  • Review 9 (2022-07-18 - Rating: 5)

This place is a must stop for excellent and affordable breakfast and Lunch. The food is as fresh as can be. They are doing all their own baking and even make the mozzarella FRESH at their masseria dei Vini next door. Dei vini is their sister location and is also 5 stars but more sit down fine dining. Check it out as well

  • Review 10 (2024-12-17 - Rating: 5)

BEST coffee (flat white) and biscotti in nyc, and I am an Italian coffee enthusiast. Staff are so warm too, lucky to have this in my neighbourhood.edit: I have now tasted their tiramisu as a treat - delightfully light, perfectly-soaked sponge and not overly sweet, just as it should be.

  • Review 11 (2024-05-29 - Rating: 5)

Good decaf macchiato, comes with delicious biscotti - my go-to very close to Central Park, friendly staff.

  • Review 12 (2024-05-14 - Rating: 5)

A favorite weekend spot for my partner and I. Delicious sandwiches and pastries as well as coffee. Come early in the weekends to snag a table to enjoy as seating is limited and it can get quite busy. We love Masseria!

  • Review 13 (2024-10-07 - Rating: 5)

I stopped here for a quick cup of coffee and it was great! Excellent coffee and great service. Will come back anytime Im in the area.

  • Review 14 (2023-11-09 - Rating: 5)

Excellent hot chocolate drink.Thick and creamy.Perfect sweetness (not too sweet).I ordered a hot chocolate plus 2 shots of espresso.Heaven.Very friendly and helpful staff.Their pastries look exciting. Will have to try them outNote that seating is limited.Highly recommended.

  • Review 15 (2024-06-19 - Rating: 5)

Great cafe! Loved the pastries and service. Wish they had an unsweetened milk alternative. Loved the place and will be back!!

  • Review 16 (2024-09-21 - Rating: 5)

Excellent espresso macchiato served in the traditional manner reminded me of espresso bars in Milan.

  • Review 17 (2024-08-22 - Rating: 5)

Really good coffee. I don’t know what kind of coffee beans that they are using but it’s delicious.

  • Review 18 (2023-11-29 - Rating: 5)

Authentic Italian caffe with very reasonable priced coffees (for New York) that also serves them in real porcelain. Seating is limited but the atmosphere is nice, especially during the summer. Would absolutely recommend if you are in the area and looking for a real sit down cafe.

  • Review 19 (2024-11-20 - Rating: 5)

I love their pastry and drinks. The canoli is hands down one of the best. It is tiny befitting an Italian mindset of grab an espresso and go, but more often than not theres a bar seat available. This location is preferable to the one closer to Times Square, which sees much more traffic.

  • Review 20 (2024-05-08 - Rating: 5)

Tasty Nitro cold brew and nice staff. Recommended.

  • Review 21 (2024-10-19 - Rating: 5)

Killer coffee. Like other reviews say, quite expensive.

  • Review 22 (2023-06-10 - Rating: 5)

Very nice coffee, and the little biscotto that comes with the cappuccino is a very nice touch. The pastries are very nice (my favorites are the Sfogliatella & Rustica), I really like the breakfast sandwich (PanBrioche with bacon, egg & cheese), and they have nice Italian cakes like the Ricotta Cheesecake and the Tiramisu. The place is very clean, and has indoor and outdoor seating.

  • Review 23 (2024-06-06 - Rating: 5)

Great coffee shop/bakery. Awesome staff. Coffee is tasty, pastries are tasty. What else can you ask for.

  • Review 24 (2023-07-17 - Rating: 5)

Stopped by this place after visiting Fordham University. Amazing coffee and very delicious lemon meringue

  • Review 25 (2024-07-09 - Rating: 5)

Food is fantastic, as are the drinks. The whipped cappuccino is simply delicious

  • Review 26 (2022-11-12 - Rating: 5)

Another hidden germ in NYC. I love it so much. Bakery so fresh and delisious. Not very expensive, like other place. Coffee also very good.

  • Review 27 (2024-10-10 - Rating: 5)

I dont often write a positive review, but the absolute consistency in which this place pours a solid latte is worth mentioning. There are several options in this neighborhood, but if you are looking for the real deal when it comes to Italian coffees, this is the place. The desserts are also spectacular.

  • Review 28 (2023-03-09 - Rating: 5)

The pastries were en par with what I had in Milan. Very authentic. Good coffee, too. Consistent quality over repeated visits.

  • Review 29 (2024-03-30 - Rating: 5)

Great espresso, comes with its own biscotti which was delicious. The pastries were all fantastic as well. We tried the raspberry tart and the sfogliatelle.

  • Review 30 (2023-12-08 - Rating: 5)

Fantastic Italian pastries made fresh. Nutella croissants, ricotta cheesecake, cookies…it’s all amazing. Coffee is quite good. Small seating area.

  • Review 31 (2023-03-08 - Rating: 5)

I go here every morning, the staff is here is the best, and the pastries all look so good you want to buy them all! The mocha latte is always well mixed, and the flavor is always smooth.

  • Review 32 (2023-09-14 - Rating: 5)

Small cafe but so nice! The employees were kind, asked if I was a student and put a student discount on my order. There’s wifi and the coffee is really good too!

  • Review 33 (2024-09-05 - Rating: 5)

The ambiance of an Italian cafe… with an emphasis on service, quality and value. Different than the “industrialized” coffee bars of today!

  • Review 34 (2024-11-04 - Rating: 5)

It felt like a Roman coffee shop. Good capuccinos and the cornettos taste very similar to the ones in Italy. The only downside is that they dont have a restroom.

  • Review 35 (2023-02-01 - Rating: 5)

Good pastries and coffee. The staff was super friendly too.

  • Review 36 (2024-10-12 - Rating: 5)

Very reasonably priced coffee and snacks within a couple blocks of central park! The staff is always super friendly there, its my go-to spot for iced coffee

  • Review 41 (2022-08-26 - Rating: 5)

    Good Italian breakfast!

  • Review 42 (2023-06-10 - Rating: 5)

My favorite cafe in Hells Kitchen. The coffee is great, I believe they use the lavazza machine setup. Its one of the few places where I get a good affordable Flat White. Most of the to stay coffee comes with a flavorsome almond biscotti. The pastries are delicious too, the cookies are nice, and my favorite is the lemon meringue pie. They do have sandwiches and other savoury food but I havent tried it yet.

  • Review 43 (2023-09-02 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 52 (2024-05-10 - Rating: 5)

The barista with the red hair was very attentive and answered all of our questions. Great place with lots of yummy dessert options.

  • Review 53 (2024-03-30 - Rating: 5)

My fave local Italian sandwich shop closed and I went looking nearby and stumbled in. Had a toasted Parma panini that was excellent. Followed that with a capp and sfogliatelle. The sfogliatelle was the lightest Id ever had, even in Italy. Not too sweet and nicely citrusy. With just a touch of Euro attitude.

  • Review 54 (2023-08-27 - Rating: 5)

Masseria is one of my favorite cafes just around the corner. Their coffees/cappuccinos/iced lattes are aamazing and the pastries are as good if not better! The people there are always in a good mood (must have something to do with the great coffee they have) and there is in- and outdoor space to sit and unwind. Love this place!!

Elegant and polished space with excellent pastries and coffee. Cornetto al albicocca was generously (over)filled with apricot jam, capuccino was just right in temperature, smothness, and aroma. Shame theres not more space to sit down.

I think if someone has been in New York for a while and wants to taste a bit of Italy they should come to this spot. I often had breakfast here during my time in New York, I found it by chance after a few weeks. I had tasted around even just out of curiosity for those who write 100% Italian, but this is often not the case, here instead of Italian there is taste and even some guys who work there. All the polite staff, clean place and excellent food, not Italian style, but Italian. I recommend it to everyone 👍

  • Review 84 (2024-06-21 - Rating: 5)

Truly the only Italian-made coffee in New York in 6 days of testing. Behind Columbus Circle almost at the southwest entrance to Central Park. Good, hot, short, with delicious desserts such as cakes and croissants. Also available with salads and sandwiches. Few seats inside, but space outside. Super friendly staff and free water for guests.
