This place has great coffee, baked goods, and great prices. I really appreciate their $3 coffee that is available through the app. They have a wide selection of coffee and matcha beverages for just $3. Can’t beat it. The shop is clean and has seating available and the service is top notch. My new coffee spot!

This Matto location is my first to discover but also my favorite! The location is great, has seating available inside, and while small is well designed. Can sit and eat or take to go as you please.Mobile ordering is a Matto pillar, and this location always succeeds. Rarely do I enter having to wait for my order, its often waiting for me, even with a little treat (check it out!) on top.Much of this is thanks to the main barista here, who is often by himself but is always kind and efficient. Greets regulars by their name with a smile, works quickly, and always prepares items perfectly!100% would recommend to anyone in the area. None of this mentions the extraordinary fact that most items are $2.50 when ordered through the app. Incredible!

Had some time to kill after my appointment and ended up having a blast! The music was on point, and the barista was incredibly friendly and genuine. Ill definitely be returning to this spot whenever Im in the area.The barista even helped me out with my app – turns out I had a total brain freeze and forgot how to use it. There was also another customer there who brought such a positive and lively energy to the place. It was a really cool vibe.I love seeing businesses thrive in this predominantly Latin/Hispanic neighborhood. Now, if only we could get one of these in Inwood too!

I got this liquid hot chocolate and it changed my life. Truly delicious. Plus, everything here is $2, never going to Starbucks again. The banana walnut loaf, coffee cake, and latte were also fantastic. They had wifi and was a nice early morning spot before it gets busy later in the day.

The place is smaller without seating but no matter, the lady who helped me today around 1:50pm Is knowledgeable, kind, vibrant, and with great energy. I needed to purchase 2 items to use my card but she gave me a voucher card to redeem my 2nd coffee for free!! I come by here for work all the time. Newton makes the best drinks, and holds down this establishment like none other. He is so fast that even when there is a line he gets it done so quickly that Im always amazed when I get to the front and hes the only one there! And he is still a smiling and pleasant individual even under stress! When I come there is laid back afrobeats playing and even during a stressful day the combination of newtons happiness and smile and island music playing puts me in a good mood. Matto is a chain but I hope they do not become so corporate that they require awful music. Also, we need to pay people like Newton more-- he is the reason people pick this place in the neighborhood!

It’s not a boutique, artisan coffee shop, but it gets the job done—cheaply.Everything is $2. Latte, cappuccino, muffin, everything. And they are surprisingly good for the cost. Sometimes the pastries can be a bit hit-or-miss, but I let it slide because it’s literally less than half the cost of many other cafes in the neighborhood. If I do t live what I get, I can offer it to a friend, but something else, and still leave spending less money.

I love this place. Such a great addition to the neughborhood. The espresso is very good, there is a large selection of delicious food (savory and sweet) and everything is always fresh.Advice for the owners: change the cleaning product that you use for the tables/floors/etc. While its great that the baristas keep everything immaculate, the product smells so strong and chemically and unpleasant that it detracts from the experience.

Add a shot of espresso or two to your regular coffee to make it the strength you like and pick from the size you like. All fir $2 dollars omg. Can u be more spoiled darlings nyers :) love it.The first time I tried the baked goods I was like uuuh probabl wey not good or healthy but it is and i love it. Balance breakfast are very possible in here. Fresh daily and tossed to the garbage the end if the day if it didnt sell. So yes I m crazy for u and I know u love too. 😘😘😘

The sign doesnt lie, everything is indeed $2 even the same drink in different sizes. The only problem Ive had here is the staff. Theres usually only two people working behind the counter and the line would be to the door. So it will take you a bit to get your order if theres even 4 people in front of you.
