Great place to grab a nice espresso or a cappuccino, and a couple pastries.Everything is well made and each item - no matter what - will only cost you 2$.You think Im messing with you? Awesome little gem of a coffee shop on the Upper East Side. Everything is $2 and they have a wide selection of baked goods, sandwiches, soups and hot and cold drinks like coffee, tea and fresh juices. The food is quite good and of course the price cant be beat. Great for an afternoon treat or select several items and make it a meal. The staff are also friendly. I highly recommend it!

Really one of the best local cappuccino spots to all of the hospitals. Definitely the best deals at $2 for absolutely everything they have! They have all specialty espresso drinks in multiple sizes, delicious hot chocolate, teas and so many freshly baked desserts and savory treats. Staff is very friendly and very efficient and will remember you and your orders in the future. I really love matto. Always reliable and always consistent

I love coming to Matto for a quick coffee or pastry. Everything is delicious, but the best part is that everything is only $2! EVERYTHING! You simply cant beat a $2 cappuccino that comes in an even larger cup than Starbucks. Ive also tried their little juices and I really enjoyed them. I think the $2 juice bottles (though small) are easily the best deal.

Quick coffee and food bite spot, I really like their pricing structure because all pastries are $3.50, which is a good price for a nicely sized burek. They are very tastey and with a location across the street from a beautiful park with clean bathrooms this is a very good spot to enjoy a coffee and people watch in an amazing city!

I googled Best Coffee Near Me and this place came up.The barista made a PERFECT macchiato with almond milk (which can be tricky). It was rich and flavorful and warmed me up. I was happy.I actually ordered another to take back to my room later.I didnt order any pastries but they had a beautiful selection.

During our trip to New York, we stopped by and bought a “buroka”, a pistachio muffin and a blueberry muffin. The “burokas” and the blueberry muffin were delicious. When we arrived, the place was incredibly busy, and we were hesitant to stay or not. There was a short Hispanic girl who worked alone and, although we thought the line was going to take a long time, she served everyone very quickly. When it was our turn, she was very friendly and attentive, answering all of our questions. The prices were quite reasonable. However, the pistachio muffin was not to our taste.
