Take out coffee spot. I paid $4 for a black 16oz Drip. Good coffee, I did not see any boutique offerings listed but I was in a rush. The drip was well brewed and satisfying. The blend seemed on the lighter side with citrus notes and slight acidity. Very decent for a standard drip.

Good coffee, no fuss service, I am in and out quickly even when there is a line. Good diet friendly pastry options and fun syrups and seasonal drinks. My favorite coffee shop in the neighborhood. Good rewards program tooEditing to add they have my favorite kind of compostable straw!! Thick and holds up, not paper. The best!

I recently started to go into Oren’s and am hooked. I now am a regular. The service is great and coffee is the best - its true gourmet. The vibe is friendly, like when visiting friends. They remember my drink and start making it up before I even order. They seem like a family and make me happy every day!

The coffee was pretty good, and I like the proximity to Columbia’s campus. There is a small amount of seating, and a good view of the sidewalk to people watch. The latte I ordered was about $5. I liked the decor as well. I would recommend this place.

Sometimes to hip to function, these baristas could be a little kinder and gentler, but since they cater to a college crowd who likes stand offishness it works out okay. ALWAYS come here instead of Starbucks, the coffee is just a thousand times better. My only complaint? They need to be better and faster at making espresso drinks, or maybe their customers need to be more open to drinking their regular and delicious daily roasts. Either way the line can be a little long.

Special handling of the coffee from plantations to shop shelf. They roast everyday.By the cup brewed et cetera you get the days beans! Changes everyday!Hours shortened by pandemic, but we, I and fellow regs, hope they will stay open to 9 PM again, as nothing better than picking up a fresh pound of beans for the morning homebrew or my frequent all nighters.

New Yorks first high-end coffee roaster founded in 1986, Orens started sourcing beans direct from farmers around the world three decades ago. Orens has faced competition from every angle since but is in the process of re-vitalizing itself. A fresh medium roast keeps oils intact even on a standard drip coffee treatments and improved doughnut and pastry options make this recently renovated Orens location viable as a morning essential or afternoon treat.

Stopped by Oren’s this morning to grab a coffee and pastry on my way to the park. The coffee was excellent! The barista helped me choose a fun flavor from their February menu. I decided on the Single Ladies!!! Overall a great experience! 10/10 will be stopping by more often :)

I love City Blend and Burundi Ngozi Bavyeyi. The chocolate syrup used for mochas is also rich and dark. Have not yet tried Maple Lattes or Maple Cream Cold Brews. Interested!

Great service from the young woman working this morning. Super-nice and funny! Unfortunately, mentioned by one of the most recent reviewers, the lids....dont fit. As you walk down the street, (if you ordered a large, the hot coffee just drips and drips and drips.) fix that.

Generally love Orens! Coffee is always better than Starbucks. This location is interesting for its staff, who seem to be predominantly students. Nice to have a conversation with them and coffee is always prepared quickly. My secret splurge item is a large iced Chai, superbly delicious! The Lu dont have tables so it is not a place to hang out.

You can not compare places like this to huge chains that sell sugary beverages with coffee flavor. Orens provides coffee of very high quality. Always delisious and satisfying my morning crave. Good assortment of baked goods as well. No complaints about baristas. They might get carried away sometimes and take a little too long but i know that my coffee will be made perfectly. For those who prefer starbucks, well..., you are not really COFFEE lovers....
