When I entered the store, I saw a simple decoration and a few pots of flowers, but it was very comfortable and peaceful. I could sit there quietly and enjoy the coffee latte made by the boss. I really liked this coffee latte. I took a sip and tasted it slowly in my mouth, feeling the taste of coffee and milk mixed together. Then I just want to say, Wow, it tastes good. I like it. And the boss is very nice.

As someone who works with coffee, this is some of the best espresso Ive had. It’s on par with the coffee I had in Costa Rica (biggest compliment).The voyager theme is unique and the atmosphere is calming. I appreciate the lack of wifi and discouragement from the use of electronics - it allows you to enjoy your coffee to the fullest and have good conversations without distraction (despite me writing this review while sitting here). It’s fairly inexpensive for quality coffee.I definitely recommend this shop!

Have passed by the coffee spot so many times and never tried it until last week. Really glad I did cause i was so pleasantly surprised. The pastries looked homemade and delicious but i just had lunch as was really full!!! I only had a Latte and it was amazing. They use a really strong coffee and you can taste the quality and love they put into it. I will be back. I wanna try the brownies and croissants and pound cake thingys.The atmosphere is really neat... I feel like i can pick up a quest 😹😹😹😹😹Also the price was very good. This place, whew. I’ve been a barista since before it was cool in 1992. I now do something else but travel a lot for work and look for small craft coffee shops wherever I go. Ramani is hands down one of the shops I’ve ever been to. I’ve been coming here for years now and their consistency and quality is amazing. I’ve never had a better latte in my life.It makes me sad that they are not open on weekends, but I get it. I’ve seriously shifted my NYC travel plans forward a day to make sure I can get here on a weekday. I was able to hit them today and they’re as good as always!

This cafe is my staple for coffee throughout the day. The owner has not only made his cafe a work of art, but hes also passionate about getting the best tasting coffee. You see him doing everything from measuring the pH of the water to using a special Japanese iced coffee process. He will gladly go out of his way to make sure you like what youve purchased. He and is staff are friendly and intelligent. Ive never seen a place like it.

This place was my favorite coffee shop that we visited in NYC, out of about 10 shops. The atmosphere and feeling in the shop are fantastic - it feels like hygge, if youre familiar with the term and the people working there were super friendly and courteous, even with us seemingly trying to screw them up on our order (purely unintentionally). I would have loved to get my coffee here every day we were on vacation, but we wanted to get a good diversity of coffee shops in the area.

Excellent . This is the only cafe I have ever been to, that uses a very intricate filter system that runs right into the espresso machine. They truly care about what matters, the quality and PH of the water that the coffee is made with, then they focus on the source of beans. I dont really have anything else to say than this fact that speaks for itself. Go check it out, do a taste test with matto down the road. 7 years later and my below review remains true. Excellent coffee and pastries.An excellent coffee was served here. I stopped in for a coffee after walking past the window and looking the look of the place. Id eaten so did not try any of their food items. I got the impression that the owner was serving me (his young son was also behind the bar helping out with a broad smile). The coffee was really great, and I was able to sit at the table near the window and enjoy the coffee peacefully. A great place which manages to feel snug and yet spacious.

I am foreigner and I have been stayed just one month in NYC. As I love drinking coffee, when I arrived at first, I searched some famous coffee shops. There shops sell espresso, latte, iced coffee and sometimes bakery. It was pretty nice, but it was just not bad. I expected something awesome coffee and I realized that these days, because almost coffee shops use good machines and coffee beans, most of shops are not bad.However, Ramini was so great. I ordered a corcato(?sort of espresso), a latte and a piece of tiramisu cake. As I heard many coffee lovers said shop where they sell nice a latte is good coffee shop, even though I dont understand why people loves latte. Truly, I have lots of experiences drinking a latte and I disagreed that latte is delicious.However, heres latte was good bitter and soft. More and more, price is also reasonable! And I could select 3 sort of size. Without Starbucks, most shops have small and large size.At last, the best thing was tiramisu cake. It was just 5 bucks.(As you know, some famous cake shops price is more than $7 for a piece of cake and bad tasty ...)It was dampish and soft but, also crispy. And it was not too sweet.I think I am going to there today... haha

Amazing place. A place filled with passion for coffee, with aesthetic taste. Someone here really has a good sense of aesthetics. Inside, a person can relax. A cafe right next to Times Square, which gives you the opportunity to calm down and relax from the noise of the street. The coffee is very good. Prepared with passion and the highest craftsmanship. Cordial service. Interesting baked goods.The only minus is the lack of toilet and glass cups - there are only disposable cups. But considering the rest of the advantages, this is not a big disadvantage. When I visit New York again, I will definitely come back here first.

The latte is really delicious. I happened to go there because it was close to my accommodation, and it was the best coffee Ive ever had in the US. The male owner may seem blunt, but he is perceptive and kind enough to remember the customer even on his second visit. It seems like there are more local people here than crowded with tourists. I highly recommend it
