Starbucks serves hot and cold drinks, whole-bean coffee, micro-ground instant coffee, espresso, caffe latte, full and loose-leaf teas, juices, Frappuccino beverages, pastries, and snacks. Some offerings are seasonal or specific to the locality of the store. Depending on the country, most locations provide free Wi-Fi Internet access.In the 2021 film Ghostbusters: Afterlife, it is stated by Ray Stantz (Dan Aykroyd) that Starbucks had taken over the Ghostbusters firehouse headquarters at North Moore Street after they went out of business and had turned it into a coffeehouse before Winston Zeddemore (Ernie Hudson) bought it back from them.In May 2015, Starbucks entered a partnership with music streaming service Spotify. The partnership entailed giving U.S.-based employees a Spotify premium subscription and to help influence the music played in store via playlists made using Spotify. Starbucks was also given its own curated Spotify playlist to be featured on Spotifys mobile app.In 2018, Business Insider conducted a test of Starbucks coffee judged by 100 coffee experts. It concluded that although staples of the menu were too sugary, coffee quality materially improved with particularly strong showings in the firms iced coffee and nitro cold brew coffee offerings. Insider experts, however, did note that the coffee quality in Starbucks Reserves far surpassed that of the typical retail store.

    Due to its location, this store is always very busy and you have to anticipate a 20 minute wait if you want a drink here. Despite this, the staff does the best they can and they try their best to get everyone’s orders out and make them well. Shoutout to Eva, who is always on top of orders and making sure they’re picked up as soon as they’re done.

    This Starbucks is always usually pretty busy when I go. It’s attached to Hunter College, and it’s a decent store. There is an employee there that is really friendly and always on it. Their name is Leila. As a former barista myself, I can say that they are a quality barista!

    Very good staff that worked on August the 4th 2016. First time barista took bigger cup for smoothie instead of throwing leftovers because smoothie serves only in small size. 👍

    I always have a lovely experience here. To be clear, I always use mobile app orders and they’re prepared quickly. I wouldn’t order otherwise, as I have noticed very long wait times.But for me, it’s always been pleasant. The woman (who wears a hairnet and has dark hair, I believe is the manager) is the kindest Starbucks barista I’ve ever met. Says hello to me by name (yes I have a bucks addiction. Haha). But she’s just nice, friendly and seems to genuinely care.

    Where is the tipping option if you pay by card for the baristas? Where is the tip jar?? 👀 Can we tip via the app? Please let us tip the baristas! Always always tip. If you complain about the price as a reason to not tip, go somewhere else if you want to disrespect these workers. They take orders from both inside Hunter College and from the side facing the street simultaneously so they’re always busy, but very clean and efficient despite constantly cleaning up after thousands of college students. The drinks are consistently well-made. To the anti-black fatphobic reviewer, stay away from these lovely baristas and never come back ty!

    By far the best Starbucks in the area. There are about 5 Starbucks in a 5 block radius and this one is hands down the best. Service is always quick, lines are not nearly as long as the others, the staff are genuinely nice and they never mess up my stupidly ridiculous complex coffee order.     Nothing to say about the service attitude and coffee👍 It’s just that the tables are too close to each other, it feels like we are sitting together... It would be great if 1-2 tables could be removed and the distance between tables could be maintained
