As soon as I entered Starbucks at 425 Lexington Ave in the Grand Central Area I was greeted by Priscilla, the pretty girl with the sparkling white teeth, friendly smile, very clean uniform and great attitude. The first thing she said to me was ‘hi sir, how are you?’ In this business, especially in the restaurant business this is not very common, as people may think, mostly so because restaurant employees are under a lot of stress, they are under tremendous pressure, customers are insensitive, abusive and rude, and their job duties involve a lot of multitasking over lengthy-hour shifts for not a lot of money. People THINK they make a lot of money but they actually don’t, especially when you factor in just how much hard work they put in within a given shift that sometimes stretches from dawn to dusk.The first thing I noticed when I entered the store was that she was by herself, very busy and moving as fast as she could, making several beverages for other customers who were waiting. But she turned around and immediately greeted me and then she said that she would be right with me. Employees like her are EXTREMELY hard to find, and especially so in this pandemic era.The store itself was spotlessly clean, had a warm atmosphere as most Starbucks stores do, but what gave this place an extra sparkle was Priscilla.

Nice friendly workers.Across from Grand Central Terminal 3rd Avenue exit.. They have no seating area /place. They have a high side table where you can stand and drink your coffee while watching the street.. enjoy your Starbuck coffee..

This is the Starbucks near Grand Central, I went in the evening, so it wasnt crowded, that was awesome! They lack a little in customer service, with few people there, I still had to wait more than 5 minutes to order. Other than that, there was something very cool, a handwritten said Try Matts Malt Foam. I ordered a cold brew with sweet foam, and it was MAGICAL! A little thicker than the regular foam, and super creamy. Worth the wait! Also, there is no seating here.

This Starbucks is a couple blocks from my work. Ive been living in Manhattan for almost 14 years now. And in all that time, I have never experienced staff at any retail store, restaurant, etc, like the women and men at this Starbucks. They are the most consistently gracious, courteous, warm individuals Ive ever had the pleasure to interact with in my 80-90 hour work week. Doesnt matter - never matters - how busy they are. And Im in there every work day, sometimes twice a day. Their respect for the customers, especially in this city, is uncanny. Unmatched. It always catches me off guard. They are stellar people to their cores. Thank you to everyone there!

Maya works at the front and is so lovely and a great Accidentally was given the wrong drink and didn’t realize until after I paid! She was quick to help and remade the drink and refunded the extra money I paid onto a gift card! Thanks Maya!!

Nobody loves this particular Starbucks location as much as I do. A beautiful man even hooked me up with the Sugar for my Coffee. I am the one who requested the cream. Then, everything worked out and we lived happily ever after. *intermission*

Ive always had great luck finding decaf in this particular Starbucks location. Special shout out to Cali, Gaby and Nayely - friendly, professional and efficient! Highly recommend the Pikes Place decaf too! Thank you!-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I pop into this Starbucks location at least a few times a month to purchase a bag of decaf and the staff is always welcoming, friendly and professional. Wanted to give a special shout out to Lindsey, Priscella, Alberto, Jessica and the rest of the staff who are top notch and know how to treat their customers! Highly recommend the Sumatra Decaf - its a delicious blend!

After so many locations closed, this personal favorite on Lexington @ 43rd Street remains as cheerful as ever, the staff very pleasant and sincere when they how youre doing, and they are thrice as quick as most coffee places in town. And they always have early, 70s and 80s funk music playing. That probably gives me more of a boost than the caffeine.

I work in the terminal and still prefer to take a walk outside to this location. The staff here is amazing and my mobile orders are very rarely incorrect, which is much more than I can say for the location inside the terminal itself. The most frustrating thing about this location is the entitled customers. It seems some have never worked in food service and have very little appreciation for the folks caffeinating their day. As a previous Partner, I can say a little patience goes a long way. So if you find yourself annoyed over a cup of coffee or a sandwich, maybe check your privilege and assess the bigger picture.

I loved this place and it was very useful to me. I arrived at my hotel at 4:30 in the morning and they couldnt give me the room, so I went to this Starbucks to have some breakfast before the sun came up and to be able to walk a little to pass the time. It saved me a little since I wasnt wandering around the city at night.
