    I love this place! The go-gos are phenomenal, the DJ’s always set the best vibe and there is typically an incredible photog running around capturing the best moments of the night!Serkan is one of my fav bartenders in the city, look for him on the weekends! He keeps the vibes high and the drinks full! It’s so great to have a truly fun gay bar in the city with a killer dancefloor!You cannot have a bad night at REBAR.

    Good spot in Chelsea if your looking to sit have a frozen mar and maybe a beer on a Sunday night after work. I like it so far. the bartender from turkey is very nice.

    Great spot where karaoke cave meets dive bar low-key vibes. Nico is amazing--such great service and positive energy. He helped a friend order an off-the-beaten-track beer, and was conversational when he had no need to be. Will be coming back thanks to this awesome experience! Thanks Nico/Michael!

    Not being from the city, someone recommended this place and I really enjoyed my time here. The staff was super friendly and engaging. One bartender in particular, Cole, was very attentive and remembered my drink every time! Coming from a service background myself, I’d have to commend Cole and the rest of the staff for being as professional and awesome as they were!

    I have been to this bar many many times, but I wanted to take the time to review this wonderful crew. Someone stole my wallet tonight and the manager was right on it and went to the security cameras searching for my belongings. Alan the manager was looking up for my wallet the whole time. Tyler and Luis were looking for it since I told them. I am so grateful for their selflessness and care. This bar cares for you and your comfort. Thank you Rebar.

    Thursday night dance down was a fire playlist for millennials. Fun vibe as we all get back out there as the pandemic takes a back seat. Cool staff, welcoming crowd, fun spot for dancing, drinks and hanging out.

    A coworker brought me to REBAR to see Marquee Monday. It was the best show I’ve ever seen in a NYC bar, so much more than the average drag show with a set, live Shows and a sexy male lead. Sherry and Danny are amazing and talented. Definitely coming back soon!

    I attended “Friendsgiving” at REBAR on November 25, 2024. Wow, it was an incredible experience with delicious Thanksgiving main course favorites, as well as extraordinary assorted desserts. I have attended 5 of these festive food extravaganzas. It was a nice turnout and we all had a blast. A special thanks to co-owners “The two Michaels” and Juan. Also a special thank you to chef Ron and delightful bartender Chevy. I have attached photos here for you to get a feel for this year’s “Friendsgiving.”

    My only gripes are that theres a sense of elitism when walking in and the lack of base in their sound system (which I understand because of their neighbors). Other than that I never felt unwelcome or discriminated against because of my skin color and no one ever told me to take my hat off (a rule that is now not even in effect)

    Good vibe, stiff affordable drinks, and friendly staff. It usually doesn’t get busy until after happy hour ends at nine making it a great place to sit down for a lil bit before dancing all night. Music is dance hits mashups which I love but isn’t for everyone.

    REBAR, a gay bar/lounge in the heart of Chelsea (225 W19th Street), has theme nights and a happy hour with drink specials. Each Sunday, The Richard Cortez Band performs from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Richard revisits jazz classics from the Great American Songbook highlighting songs that had been sung by Billie Holliday, Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett, Sinatra and many more as well as songs by composers that include Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Hoagy Carmichael and Stephen Sondheim. Richards interpretation of these songs is singularly entertaining, and he and his band bring a touch of class to Chelsea each Sunday evening.

    So glad they re-opened this location with a fantastic renovation (bye bye ginormous bar) and made the space really cool and functional. The new and some old staff members are the sweetest bartenders/porters around. Alan (bartender) is my favorite!!! Hes super friendly and always aware of who needs a fresh drink (very important). He always makes everyone feel at home and thats how it should be. Ive told everyone I know to stop in any day of the week for a great time, great vibe, great drinks, and great service.

    Excellently redone and rebranded into a wonderful spot that flows better and feels more comfortable. That said, its always packed.Great drinks served by some of the most professional and most talented bartenders in NYC. These guys know there stuff. They get it right the first time and youve gotta love that in a packet bar.Music is on point. Often theres a DJ as well. This is a very happening spot thats friendly and fun.Check this place out.

    The new space is gorgeous. It’s a cross between classy club and an old school men’s bar. It’s a neighbothood spot and the crowd there is a mix of Chelsea hotties and cool locals. The parties there are interesting ranging from a Broadway musical style night to 70’s nights to some sexier underwear party nights. Definitely a spot to check out.

    Fun place cool remodel it needed it it was getting kind of Ghetto maybe thats why the dropped the G name..good music.drinks a bit expensive but good.nicer crowd too. The RAM events they have are great fun and a step up from the Eagle crowed

    FORMALLY KNOWN AS G-LOUNGE THIS BAR HAS BEEN COMPLETELY OVERHAULED. LOVE THE EVENTS THAT GO ON AT THIS BAR THEIR ARE SO MANY FUN THINGS LIKE DRINK AND DRAW I GO TO WITH MY BUDDIES.     What a blast! Place was jammed packed!! I think they reached capacity! Met some of my gay friends there that I havent seen in forever! Fridays music was more my style, saturday more techno, but if into that youll love it!! Great bartenders, amazing security, owners very cool. Crowd was mixed, from younger to a lil older, all sexy people! All races and faiths welcome seemed welcomed so I dont know what the haters were reviewing but it wasnt this place. Cool crowd, no rift raft, so niche, its not some trashy place, so look your best & enjoy the eye candy..🍷🍸🍹
