Ive been coming here since early 2000s.. The hospitality and the love from the workers r really the most heartwarming. The owner always comes and says hello to me and my friends. Hookah is spot on delicious with fruit heads... food is very well prepared.. lots of juice drinks options. It is amazing place to come and hang out with friends. Amazing food, and has variety of food from burgers to liver sandwiches to koshary to Mac and cheese to tacos and nachos. The variety truly makes this place one stop shop. Not to mention the amazing hookah they have. Honestly I love this place!

Very cozy environment with really good authentic hookahs. They also provide brand new mouthpiece pipes which Ive never seen before and I find it to be a very nice touch. Hidden in the heart of Astoria away from the other hookah bars. No alcohol but they have good soft drinks, coffee and teas. All in all a great place to relax with a good book and fresh hookah that wont hurt theither bank.

Layaly cafe has become my favorite hang out in Queens and the city overall. It has an awesome atmosphere where foreign languages, specifically Arabic is heard often, and really good food and excellent service.It is a small and cozy place with flat screen TV on the walls on which sports are played, especially soccer matches from all over the world. They have a good selection of hookah flavors and one can call up and reserve tables for large or small groups. Best of all, the prices are very reasonable.

“Backyard” is very peaceful and a great atmosphere for hanging out, eating, drinking coffee and smoking hookah! Its not easy to find a place where everything was perfect from the food to the coffee to the hookah. Not many places in Astoria like this. Also lovely staff and great people!!

Its a nice hookah place. Away from the crowd. You can actually have a conversation with your group without scamming. Best part is that you can find parking font of the store most of the time. They have great food.

Layaly Cafe is my favorite hookah restaurant in all of New York City. I travel all the way from Manhattan to frequent this customer friendly restaurant. The hospitality is top notch. The food is authentic and tasty, including Egyptian dishes that can easily hail from Cairo to shrimp tacos to truffle fries. The hookah is of excellent quality and lasts long. If that is not enough, the staff and ambiance exceeds the already superb food and hookah. I love this place — whether indoor or outdoor seating. Catching any sports game on the numerous televisions is also a hit! Layaly Cafe comes highly recommended and I am a fan! A satisfied customer who could not gate-keep, but rather had to share because Layaly so deserves its flowers.

I like the hookah, i do ask it sometimes, but isnt the main reason I go there.I do recommend, visit it a few times per month when I want something different to do, by myself or with companies.

I have been there many times and overall, the food and hookah experience were great. Yet, there are two things to mention:1) they automatically charge 20% tip which is not fair for the customer and I feel like it decreases the service quality.2) the music played inside is just terrible. I understand that they try to represent their own culture, but sorry to say, it does not sound nice. Also, it is quite loud and makes having a decent conversation quite hard.

The food was really great, wish Id taken a photo but I got a chicken kebab entree with the rice and it was delicious! Its a really cute place especially the backyard. Good place to hang out with friends and catch up because they dont rush you to leave, the staff make you feel very welcome. Its also a good place if you just want to come and smoke hookah by yourself and relax as well.

My daughter and I happened upon this restaurant from a Google search while being in the area. They have a cute backyard area. The food was amazing. They have a mint lemonade which was very good. The wait staff is very attentive. My hookah was made well, I was issued a new hose. I would recommend this place hands down. I generally liked every aspect of my visit to this establishment. I will definitely be back and will be bringing my friends with me.
