Had an absolute blast at Dizzys with my 12 year-old daughter, a new jazz enthusiast and beginning saxophonist. After Ulysses Owens performance, I would say she is now a full-blown jazz enthusiast. It was worth it to come here just to see her eyes glued on the band for the entire hour+ performance. She could not get enough of the incredible live music, solos, improvising, etc. What an experience for us both. I loved the music just as much, but had never been to Dizzys. The backdrop view of Central Park, Columbus Circle, and the NYC skyline? Wow.

  • Review 2 (2024-07-01 - Rating: 5)

Long time. 11pm for $15 cover.Music great. Understand last night. Trombone female leadership is tough. Thoroughly enjoyed sensuous Latin jazz. Ensemble switching around Sax. My favorite was trumpet solo. Infusion of vocals also plus. Piano, drum, bass rhythm section solid, although bit low profile even during solos.Drinks good. Although pricing is New Yorkey intimidating of course.Venue quite clean, nice. Overlooking Columbus Circle. Old and reliable vibe. For myself nostalgic to Jazz tight table area, smoking inside etc... late session more casual and noisier... prefer over 7pm or 9pm

  • Review 3 (2023-05-25 - Rating: 4)

This club is not cheap but... the acoustics are simply amazing, the vibe is great and classy and the performances top of the notch!!! Only minor downside is the food: very average and not healthy options available: this is the only reason I am giving a 4 stars, had the food been good this would be a 5 stars review. Recommended

  • Review 4 (2022-03-10 - Rating: 5)

Wonderful service all around, from greeters, bartenders, cooks, and our server Quenton. Additional to the phenomenal live music, and NYC views. Tonight was so memorable and romantic! Thank you dizzy! The musicians you had playing tonight were amazing!!! Even if your not into Jazz, this place will have you coming back. The intimate atmosphere was fantastic and one not to miss. Definitely will be back soon!

I was here i week ago for the show of Cathrine Russell.I really like this club, because is pretty new, with an amazing acustics! The food aligned with all the others jazz club, so nothing of special, but the cocktail was good! The staff is all friendly and delightful.I think that the price for entrance and food is cheaper instead others more historic and famous NYC club, but for me the Dizzy’s Club is really better….also because you have a great view on Central Park, instead of the others, where normally you will not find any windows!

  • Review 6 (2024-05-02 - Rating: 5)

This place is quite the experience. Beautiful inside, wonderful view of the city behind the performers. Top notch performance. Classy and ambient. Service was so personable. The food was just okay, drinks are good. It is definitely a fun way to spend your Friday or Saturday night.$50-$60 tickets and food and drink was another $50

  • Review 7 (2022-09-13 - Rating: 5)

Full house (Five stars).Named after the jazz legend Dizzy Gillespie this venue has what you need for a good jazz night.High rising location, amazing view of Columbus circle and central park and many seating options. The staff are super friendly and service is excellent.A hot spot for jazz fans like myself.Little pricey and you need to book in advance, tickets go fast.

  • Review 8 (2024-10-09 - Rating: 5)

Extremely good service by waitress, and the environment was so intimate! Went to a show with Jimmy Bosch and everyone loved it. Food was delicious, and had a chance to talk with the artists afterwards about their experiences.

  • Review 9 (2024-11-24 - Rating: 5)

Very nice place with jazz music, drinks, and some bites

  • Review 10 (2024-02-21 - Rating: 5)

Great performance and atmosphere. Highly recommend for a relaxing time!Food was surprisingly fine for a jazz venue and staff was awesome. The shrimp creole was very well done.

  • Review 11 (2024-10-03 - Rating: 5)

Loved every sec.. The performance was immaculate. Josanne Francis and the band of other performers signed. They gained themselves a new fan... Dizzys Club was better than expected.

  • Review 12 (2019-03-20 - Rating: 5)

We went there at night, pretty late, after 11pm. Prices were reasonable and they gave us a table not far from the stage. Enjoyed the jazz music from various musicians. Best late night activity in NYC. Since subway service in NYC operates 24 hours, so we took subway train back to the bnb without problem.

  • Review 13 (2024-07-02 - Rating: 5)

Limited menu and food was adequate but not memorable. More than made up for by the atmosphere of this venue with large windows looking out on the lights of New York. Great jazz in a smaller room makes it feel much more personal. Great evening!

  • Review 14 (2024-10-13 - Rating: 5)

We didnt eat there, we went for the music. We saw the Roy Hargrove big band. Some of their numbers were really great. The service was great, the location was great and the music... Thats the point.

  • Review 15 (2024-09-28 - Rating: 5)

Great experienceBut the bar seating is not that good to have drinks

  • Review 16 (2024-06-30 - Rating: 5)

What an amazing experience!! Wonderful place to listen to jazz with an amazing view ♥️

  • Review 17 (2018-03-29 - Rating: 4)

Came here during flamenco week. Great performance and acoustics! Prices were on the higher end (I believe $40 with a $10minumum spend) but students get a $15 discount. My friend wasnt much impressed with her negroni cocktail but the caramel pecan vanilla ice cream dessert was the bomb! The view outside is also lovely, so overall a very nice evening. You can also come for the late night show aftee 11pm for $5 cover. Pretty trendy place though so expect to dress up and make reservations beforehand.

  • Review 18 (2024-05-30 - Rating: 5)

Dizzys Jazz Club in New York is an amazing place for a night out. The performances are incredible and the music sticks with you. Located right in the heart of the best jazz scene in the world, Dizzys has a cozy vibe, great sound, and some of the best musicians around. Whether youre really into jazz or just looking for a fun night, Dizzys is a spot youll remember. We enjoyed our visit there. The servers are attentive and friendly.

  • Review 19 (2023-06-11 - Rating: 5)

Really neat place. Went for a Jazz/Big Band concert, food was good, atmosphere was great. Great place to go and listen to great music.

  • Review 20 (2024-08-07 - Rating: 5)

We went here for a show last night and it was amazing: the artists were incredible and really engaged with the audience, the view was beautiful, food was good value and drinks were great

  • Review 21 (2019-09-10 - Rating: 4)

I loooooove Dizzy’s! They’re keeping Jazz alive! The food is great but the place is just a little pricey. To me it’s difficult to have to spend at least $100 per person every time i go to Dizzys. I wish it was cheaper so more ppl (including a younger crowd) could experience Jazz without breaking their pocket. Still I love it and I hope it lives forever.

  • Review 22 (2024-08-05 - Rating: 5)

The venue was excellent for a quality jazz performance. We caught the Louis Hayes Quintet and they were fantastic.I enjoyed the ambience of the place. The staff was prompt and attentive. We went to the 9pm show and paid $65 for table seating (highly recommended)

  • Review 23 (2019-11-28 - Rating: 5)

Fantastic venue, $45 music charge for most sets, except for late night. The food is very good, the service fast and efficient, they clear the place out between sets. Great acoustics, the view is fantastic, be sure to take a shot of Colombus Circle before you go in... try not to sit on the sides near the windows, they you only have a view of, well, the sides. The bar along the back is fine for the view, but not for eathing, almost all tables provide good views...Enjoy jazz in this venue. Sit at the bar, middle... enjoy a Nigroni...

  • Review 24 (2024-07-03 - Rating: 5)

Me, my wife and our kids went to enjoy some jazz on our first night in New York. We reserved some bar seats for the 7:30 show. Rodney Whitaker & Friends put on a great performance The food and drinks were great. Both of our kids are musicians and I could tell they were having a great time.

  • Review 25 (2023-04-10 - Rating: 5)

Want a top up on that pineapple express buddy? Great music great service great view. 5 star.

  • Review 26 (2022-11-02 - Rating: 5)

Great music, great atmosphere, and great food as well. Fried chicken and trout were excellent!

  • Review 27 (2017-02-17 - Rating: 4)

Great views, nice staff and good music, although a bit pricey as the main group played a couple of songs and the rest were improvisations from the public

  • Review 28 (2024-09-25 - Rating: 5)

Got bar seats for Sunday evening performance by Bria Skonberg. Heard her a few years ago at Cape May Jazz Festival and so knew we were in for a treat...but wow, the combination of Skonberg and this venue exceeded all expectations. Arrived early enough to eat dinner at bar before show started. Enjoyed the steak (me) and the Bronzino (spouse). Not overpriced. Good cocktails and then wine during the show sitting 12 from stage, unobstructed view. Great service. Highly recommend the venue if you like jazz, and recommend listening to Bria Skonberg any chance you get. Amount spent includes initial cover plus food and drinks...worth it for truly special evening.

  • Review 29 (2024-08-23 - Rating: 5)

Absolutely fabulous experience listening to George Coleman

  • Review 30 (2022-05-15 - Rating: 5)

Awesome experience! Endea Owens and the Cookout gave a great show and the venue is lovely!

  • Review 31 (2024-04-29 - Rating: 4)

Everything was great until the show began, then spotlights were in my light-sensitive eyes. Beware the tables to the sides if this will affect your ability to enjoy the show. Tried standing at the back but a light was directed to that area as well due to the service station. There was really no place to go without interfering with other people. We left. :(

  • Review 32 (2023-12-02 - Rating: 5)

A great intimate experience for the best jazz club in NYC. Herlin Riley Quintet was excellent and engaging.

  • Review 33 (2024-03-07 - Rating: 5)

Always a must when we visit NYC. Love the varied artists and groups (we went twice in 3 days) and the exceptional quality of the jazz. The view over Central Park is something special, too. Can’t wait for our next visit!

  • Review 34 (2024-08-10 - Rating: 5)

Food is pretty average but everything else is very good(pricing, musicians, atmosphere, etc)

  • Review 35 (2024-08-05 - Rating: 5)

Quality in everything! Exceptional music, gourmet cuisine, helpful service, sophisticated audience. Enjoyed everything, hope to visit again soon.

  • Review 36 (2024-08-07 - Rating: 5)

Great ambiance and reasonable prices. Great service! Our server Meghan was amazing.

  • Review 37 (2022-11-27 - Rating: 4)

Attended the Nina Simone Celebration gig by Morgan James. First time at this venue for me. Great intimate club atmosphere with excellent acoustics. Views are an added bonus out over Columbus Circle and the park.Very efficient service by amenable staff. Food options fine for this sort of place. Drinks reasonable. Will definitely be back here, good venue.

  • Review 38 (2019-01-06 - Rating: 5)

Very nice place food and jazz music was amazing had a great experience

  • Review 39 (2024-03-25 - Rating: 5)

Great venue. This location for live music is difficult to beat. Elegant, intimate, and not a bad seat in the house. Prices are reasonable but the service and food is formulaic. That is not a bad thing but it does take away from the overall experience. I would come here always and again for live music.

  • Review 40 (2024-02-11 - Rating: 5)

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had. 21 bucks minimum per person and overall a great moment.Impossible not to feel shivers on your body while jazz sessions

  • Review 41 (2023-04-13 - Rating: 5)

Just amazing. Beautifully designed club, with a view on Central Park and Manhattan skyline behind the stage (one can think it’s a screen behind, not the actual view). The jazz performance was of the highest quality, with great sound.Cocktails are close to perfection. Mostly classics with a little twist and perfectly made. The food is also excellent.Came in just on time, but the performance started 2 minutes earlier, so it’s better to come 10-15 minutes in advance.

  • Review 42 (2022-09-11 - Rating: 5)

Very nice adult night out. While the set was short, maybe a little over 1 hr, the music and vibe overall were enjoyable. Admission fee plus $21 minimum food/drink purchase required but they are very upfront with pricing at the door. I had one drink and French fries to meet my $21 purchase as I was not hungry and didnt want to order a full plate. There are tables or bar seating, all with direct stage views as this is a smaller, more intimate venue. I didnt pre-purchase my ticket but was able to do a walk in (not always the case). Would definitely return!

  • Review 43 (2024-01-17 - Rating: 4)

Our third or fourth time at Dizzys. It is always great jazz with an amazing view. The food is so so this time, it seems the menu is limited compared to pre COVID. I would avoid the friend chicken. Next time I’m having drinks and the cheese plate.

  • Review 44 (2024-08-14 - Rating: 5)

One of the best jazz clubs you’ll ever experience!

  • Review 45 (2023-07-23 - Rating: 5)

What an amazing venue. Stunning views with great music! The staff was very professional and kind and were always willing to help without being pushy. The food was pretty good but you really arentcoming for the food. Our party had the gumbo as a main course, the fried chicken, and the grilled branzino and were worth having again.

  • Review 46 (2024-08-05 - Rating: 5)

Classy jazz spot in Town, great view and great sound.

  • Review 47 (2023-06-04 - Rating: 5)

Use elevators to get to the 5th floor. The club is awesome. Great service, our waiter Denny was very energetic and helpful. We took bar seats but got lucky to face the stage straight, so I would say those were the best seats.

  • Review 48 (2024-05-18 - Rating: 5)

Come for the music and enjoy the food and drinks

  • Review 49 (2023-04-11 - Rating: 4)

Classy jazz club. Location and staff really great. Cocktails are high quality, as the music youre going to listen. Prices are normal for NY, a little high forel european... But its worthy! Good entrance discount for students with ID.

  • Review 50 (2022-10-23 - Rating: 5)

Great space, great views, great audio, great vibe. The menu and cocktails are also good.

  • Review 51 (2022-10-02 - Rating: 4)

A truly beautiful place to listen to great music. The only downside is all the cooked food we tried was mediocre to bad. The sausage board was quite good though and the drinks, ambience, service and music made up for the food. I recommend going, but ordering food thats staged there instead of prepared there.

  • Review 52 (2021-12-02 - Rating: 5)

Awesome place for live jazz! Great vibes with great people!

  • Review 53 (2024-05-13 - Rating: 4)

Great performance from the musicians that will make you forget the below average food & drinks, the poor service that force a 20% gratuity on your bill.

  • Review 54 (2023-05-23 - Rating: 5)

Dizzy’s club is the Lincoln-Centered-affiliated space that hosts jazz ensembles and musicians. The venue is located in the Deutsche Bank building (at Columbus circle) but then take the elevator to the fifth floor. The performance space is like a restaurant/bar with food and drinks served before the show (called “a set”) and service remains available during the music. The club has a beautiful view of Central Park and part of the Manhattan skyline… and the music will almost always be spectacular.

  • Review 55 (2024-06-16 - Rating: 4)

Dizzys is a beautiful setting to do anything but especially so for good jazz in NYC. Not my preferred club, but I go to listen to particular musicians playing there

  • Review 56 (2024-10-20 - Rating: 5)

The food is not too pricey and it comes to you very quickly after ordering. The barman is great and very approachable. The music and the views are awesome. Dont miss it if you are NY.

  • Review 57 (2022-09-05 - Rating: 5)

A classy and spectacular evening. Cocktails were good, service great, food was decent (hamburger seemed to be the hit at the table), and the must was fantastic. Intimate setting felt like a part of New York bygone era.

  • Review 58 (2023-09-07 - Rating: 5)

Had a good time at the club over Labor Day 2023.Very cool, intimate setting for jazz.Attentive and friendly service.Although we didnt have food, the cocktails we had were very good.My only complaint is that the concert was only one set, just a little over an hour. For the high admission fee, I would have preferred a longer set. Or lower the price accordingly.

  • Review 59 (2024-09-15 - Rating: 5)

Great Jazz groups and food is also really good

  • Review 60 (2023-11-18 - Rating: 5)

This location is just amazing ! The view of the park at night with the live band is just perfect ! We had a wonderful evening and will definitely go back there to enjoy other performances ! Drinks and food were very good, litteraly nothing bad to say about this place ! My only recommandation would be to come early if you want to be sure to secure a good table.

  • Review 61 (2018-10-15 - Rating: 4)

Very classy Jazz Club... Not crowded...most seats good.. bar seats in the back uncomfortable. the food is generally pretty good although some portions are quite small. The ribs are excellent. Some mango coleslaw we had the last time we were there wasnt good. But you go there for the music mostly. You dont have to have dinner... just have a drink and enjoy the show.

  • Review 62 (2024-03-31 - Rating: 5)

The ambience is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Roland, the Manager is so polite and friendly. Excellent customer service. Staff is so courteous . You have to experience this.....

  • Review 63 (2023-09-07 - Rating: 5)

Loved our evening @Dizzy’s. An intimate venue w good acoustics & views across Columbus Circle. Bar seats, shared lite dinner bites. Fair pricing for a fun evening of jazz!

  • Review 64 (2021-12-17 - Rating: 5)

Thank you for this exceptional space, vivid, open, fresh, inviting. Every seat in the house offers a good viewing and listening experience facing the stage. Tables, bar and stools all available for patrons. Reservations recommended. Food and drinks good. Nice view over Dupont Circle. What a great evening!

  • Review 65 (2023-06-03 - Rating: 4)

Spacious jazz bar, not packed like sardines!!! Decent drinks menu, need to spend an additional $21 or more from menu, after being seated. Very good service!

  • Review 66 (2023-12-29 - Rating: 5)

Beautiful view, great environment, good food.

  • Review 67 (2024-12-17 - Rating: 5)

My favorite jazz club in the world - I LOVE Dizzys. Enjoy some of the best live music you will ever hear, get a bottle of the Rioja Vina Alberdi, and ENJOY!!!Let me tell you, the cats that play at Dizzys are the real deal! The drummer lays back, the bass player opens their ears, and the band is just swinging! I’ve seen Ulysses Owens, Matthew Whitaker, Azar Lawrence, and many other incredible players at Dizzys and I can’t recommend it strongly enough!!

  • Review 68 (2022-10-11 - Rating: 5)

Wuaaaw. Very good band. I was really impressed. Good vibes and atmosphere.

  • Review 69 (2018-07-20 - Rating: 5)

An amazing evening of Jazz and tasty food with a spectacular view overlooking Central Park. A beautiful space to listen to the best of NY jazz. The sound was spot on; not to loud and not to soft. The food was excellent with a serving of salmon that was flakey with just the right amount of lemon and butter. My spouse had the carrot soup and cornbread and found it to be perfect in taste and presentation. If you are in NY and into jazz...this is a must stop on you list.

  • Review 70 (2019-11-15 - Rating: 5)

Very cool jazz/dance place. Recommended if you want to take your significant other for a spin

  • Review 71 (2021-12-19 - Rating: 4)

Upscale, classy and enjoyable venue. Would have been 5 star if people could lounge after. Maybe late night jam sessions are better. Also, the clientle were on average 60 yrs old giving it a sleepier vibe on the night I went.

  • Review 72 (2023-10-22 - Rating: 5)

Had a great evening of jazz at Dizzys. The staff was very friendly and the service was great. I recommend looking at the website and booking ahead.

  • Review 73 (2021-09-16 - Rating: 5)

Dizzys is a must see. I go every time I travel to NYC and recommend it to anyone in town. Its a more intimate jazz experience with different performances depending on the night - definitely worth reserving in advance. Theres a great view and its not crowded or loud, so its an incredible immersive experience. Glad they were able to reopen after a break from live performances during COVID.

  • Review 74 (2024-07-18 - Rating: 5)

This jazz club is worth every penny. Tables are placed very well, everyone can enjoy the jazz playing up close with a good amount of excitement. The big band was amazing for my family visit on a Monday night. Honestly I didnt expect much for food, but the food we had was excellent. Come early so that you sit at one of the closest tables. Jazz is the music that thrills your heart, and you need to listen to it up close.

  • Review 75 (2018-05-08 - Rating: 4)

Beautiful view of Manhattan and wonderful jazz music

  • Review 76 (2022-08-08 - Rating: 4)

We came here for our anniversary. The music was great! The food & drinks was okay. Im a little disappointed that when you pay for your table it tells you to go straight upstairs and wait to be seated. We had to stand on the line across from the Elevators. Minutes before we was able to go upstairs the guard allowed a lady and her companion to cut the line. Thats not fair to those that was there before 9:00pm And my name wasnt on the list even though I bought my seats a month in advance. So I had to show proof I paid.

  • Review 77 (2023-06-13 - Rating: 5)

Wow category. I was so impressed by the talent and views. You must go. If you have student id you can get discount online. Drinks were nice and strong.

  • Review 78 (2024-10-21 - Rating: 5)

Great set. Didnt eat but had drinks. Great service and a great venue for jazz.

  • Review 79 (2023-03-05 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 80 (2024-08-04 - Rating: 5)

Very friendly venue with beautiful view over central park. Although we did not have a reservation on a saturday night the staff put us on a waiting list and we got in. Server Ella was super and very kind. Jazz was amazing, not too loud and very great

  • Review 81 (2020-02-21 - Rating: 4)

Dizzys Late Night is a great place to hear new talent perform. The room itself is a modern, warm, inviting venue with great views of the city. Dizzys Late Night is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. The service is friendly and unrushed. The cocktails are perfectly crafted. I only wish that the late night menu included a few more food options.

  • Review 82 (2023-05-02 - Rating: 5)

Dizzys Club at Lincoln Center is a premier jazz venue in New York City. The club boasts a spacious interior and a stunning view of Columbus Circle and the skyline beyond. Despite its upscale location, the menu is relatively affordable, with offerings such as a tasty burger priced at just $20. The club regularly features exceptional artists, providing an authentic and unforgettable New York experience. Its worth noting that Dizzys is better suited for those looking for a shorter jazz performance rather than a longer, more relaxed evening. If youre in the mood for a more leisurely experience, it may be worth exploring other jazz clubs in the city.

  • Review 83 (2024-09-08 - Rating: 5)

Loved the modern jazz group (even though I prefer a more traditional jazz). Nice atmosphere, shared table with lovely people...a very enjoyable night with beatiful view

  • Review 84 (2019-02-16 - Rating: 5)

While the check in process took quite a while (and got a bit sweaty), it was all worth a fantastic performance by wonderful and talented Kim Nalley and the band. We got lucky with the table - just a few feet away from the stage, and thoroughly enjoyed our evening! One minor bump in the road was the underwhelming poached pear dessert (well, slightly under-poached, if I may say so), which of course didnt stop us from enjoying the jazz & blues performance with the stunning backdrop of Central Park ❤️

  • Review 85 (2019-08-10 - Rating: 5)

Wonderful experience, great music and ambiance with okay food and fine service..,We were there yesterday (7aug) for the 19.30 concert. I advise those who want to eat (as we did) to arrive well in advance so that you can finish munching before the music starts and just enjoy your drink during the show...

  • Review 86 (2020-01-03 - Rating: 5)

One of the best jazz venues in NYC, although definitely with a vibe more formal than places downtown. Awesome ambiance and atmosphere with great acts. A great night out for groups.

  • Review 87 (2024-09-17 - Rating: 5)

Great club, excellent service and live music. The servers were super organized and attentive

  • Review 88 (2019-07-09 - Rating: 5)

We visited this place over Memorial Day weekend. We saw some really good jazz musicians preform. The music was great the food and the drinks were perfect. You have to call and make a reservation. Also make sure to arrive early to you reservation because even though you made a reservation you still have to wait in line. And if you’re one of the first ones in line and made a reservation at the bar you get your pick of the bar seats. Great place, great food, good service. I would recommend to anyone looking for something to do in the city with some good music.

  • Review 89 (2013-03-18 - Rating: 5)

They have great performances. and the food are great. the baked macaroni is amazing! Love the place! and by showing your student id, you will get discounts and the late night shows also cheaper. But best place to view central park at nite.

  • Review 90 (2022-06-28 - Rating: 5)

I had such an amazing time in here. The food prices were very reasonable the music was even more amazing such amazing and talented people playing at this place I would definitely recommend it for a date night or a group gathering who just likes to hear a little like jazz

  • Review 91 (2016-04-03 - Rating: 5)

Wonderful New York experience. Food was pretty good! Especially for a place where the music is priority. Oh yes and fantastic jazz musicians all with a rooftop Columbus Circle/Central Park view.

Incredibly stunning venue! The skyline views are just wow! We watched Bokani Dyer and his group - they were amazing! Very much enjoyed the atmosphere, seating and cocktails! Ordered jambola - it was fantastic! Highly recommend for a jazz show and for food and drinks!

No, jazz fans, this is not a dive. It is not an obscure, smoky basement club frequented by great musicians. Its not a stuffy, super-crowded room on Bleeker Street in the Village. Those things have their place, but so does Dizzys. This is a modern, classy club with a spectacular location overlooking Columbus Circle and Central Park. It seems to send the message that Jazz deserves to be placed high up on a pedestal. The room is elegantly designed and it has beautiful decor and good service for food and cocktails. And its located in one of NYCs great mixed-use complexes containing high rise buildings, a 4-story upscale shopping center, a Whole Foods Market in the basement, and several bars or eateries. I am describing the Time Warner Center, containing Jazz at Lincoln Center as one of its components. Jazz at Lincoln Center has 3 performance venues, and Dizzys is the smallest, most intimate, and most impressive of the three. I have seen two great shows here during the past two years. Its easy to make the arrangements, too. You reserve your table by phone, with no payment necessary prior to the show. During the show you can order dinner, snacks, desserts and drinks. The cover charge for music (usually $35 or $40 per person) is added to your bill, and you pay your server for everything at the end of the show. Seating is mostly at tables, but there is also a bar with bar stools, and there are many other high seats along the edges of the room that have just a drink bar to rest your glass on. The sound is very good, thanks to a top-notch modern sound system. The setting (with Central Park visible through the glass wall behind the stage) is one-of-a-kind, and the performers from around the world are wonderful. It was on my bucket list to visit this jazz club. Well I did it, and now I go back again every year! Cant stay away! If I lived in NYC, I would go much more often. Visiting this building, this shopping center, and this club ... is a wonderful experience, and we love to do it during the holidays when the building has terrific decorations and holiday spirit. The club is not terribly expensive, either. If you want to impress your date with a night out on the town, give this a try. You wont be disappointed.

Dizzy‘s is always great! Swanky but at the same time not too pretentious. The crispy shrimp was very good. Band was fantastic.

  • Review 96 (2018-12-29 - Rating: 5)

Hard to beat the views but the music was equally impressive. We stopped in for the late night show and had a great time. Great for a party of 2-4. Wine was decently priced. We will be back!

A beautiful acoustic and aesthetic ambiance to experience Americas rich and vibrant art form - Jazz. The setting embraces you from all perspectives. Staging for audience and performing artists is designed to capture the spirit and emotion through the sights and sounds of the world renown venue. En hora buena! Congratulations! New York is made richer for its presence.

  • Review 100 (2018-05-26 - Rating: 5)

Had an awesome time at Dizzys. Great place to hear some great music. There is a cover charge for the 2 evening sessions. Late night sessions have no cover charge which is even better. They have a $10 minimum food or beverage purchase.

  • Review 101 (2021-11-13 - Rating: 5)

One the best venues for jazz!

  • Review 102 (2022-01-24 - Rating: 5)

Intimate, modern space that’s 50% old-skool jazz dive and 50% municipal high school on top of a shopping centre.Direct access from the shopping centre is ok, straight to the 5th floor, then the club is like a modern cinema at the entrance and then opens into a cosy room (seating about 200) with a small stage on front of windows with great views over the park and Columbus circle. The approach is to eat and drink for an hour and then enjoy the act.If you’re at or close to the bar then you have the advantage of high seats and a great view, with the disadvantage of service clatter and the noisiest dishwasher in Manhattan! However as an intimate and accessible venue it would be hard to beat.Oh and prices are reasonable too.

  • Review 103 (2016-03-19 - Rating: 5)

Great Jazz club inside the Warner Center, small and intimate but not crowded, beautiful views and always exceptional music. The food is good (though the menu is limited), and the cocktails great.

  • Review 104 (2020-01-13 - Rating: 5)

Great venue, friendly service, food was great (we had the shrimp and the short rib mac and cheese). Not cheap, but nothing in New York is, especially Lincoln Center. Worth it for a nice nice out.

  • Review 105 (2018-04-05 - Rating: 5)

The staff at Dizzys are magnificent starting. from the warm greeting at the Reservation desk/Coatcheck, the knowledgeable wait staff with mind blowing cocktails and brilliant Jazz musicians. The food speaks for itself...AWESOME ( I highly recommend the oxtail appertizers, Ive never had oxtail and now I am addicted to it)

Love this place for a full night of Jazz! Greetings from Curaçao!

  • Review 114 (2023-06-12 - Rating: 4)

I have visited Dizzys three times. Overall, it has an elevated vibe, with awesome live jazz performances. Unfortunately, my high ratings do not extend beyond the music and atmosphere.Service is slow and somewhat lackluster. The food and drinks are okay but in my opinion, not worth the price tag. The food menu is limited to a few items.Id recommend going for the music alone. I cant recall if there is a per-person minimum, but if there is, Id suggest spending just that amount and grabbing food/drinks elsewhere.

The staff were lovely, the cheesecake was delicious & the Gingerbread cider was something I had never tried before.

  • Review 128 (2019-12-31 - Rating: 5)

Ive been meaning to check out this spot for ages (10+ yrs - forgive me!) so when a good friend invited me as a plus one I took the offer. Carlos Henríquez nonet was a delightful treat and it was refreshing to have music done by a Bronx local. If you find a show with any of the performers in that nonet you must check them out, absolutely amazing performers. I also loved the variety of the pieces that Carlos put on. Ok! So the other real deal here is that the food - chef Samuels is the real deal and rather amazing at what he does. I didnt sample everything on offer but the sure delights were the gumbo and the fried cauliflower!!! The service was also rather wonderful and we were tended to by the most attentive staff and host. I really couldnt have asked for a more delightful experience at a venue! Did I mention how great the music was?!?

  • Review 129 (2022-03-09 - Rating: 5)

Wonderful Jazz Club. We saw Jeff Hamilton and it was very cool! Nice Burger and some of the best fries Ive ever eaten. Recommend being there early to secure the best views of the act and the skyline

  • Review 132 (2023-02-25 - Rating: 4)

The service was great. Attentive team, water glasses refilled promptly and friendly waiters. Wonderful city views and the music was phenomenal. Note tables are first come, first served regarding choice. So you may end up sharing a table. The good was ok. I dont expect much since being a restaurant isnt their focus. Burger was solid. Dessert was good. Banana foster is my recommendation if you see it on the menu.If I were to do it again, I would probably do dinner before then just have two glasses of wine to hit the food and beverage minimum.Enjoy the music friends!

  • Review 133 (2024-05-26 - Rating: 5)

Nice spot at Lincoln center. Sat at bar and it was comfortable. Wonderful jazz music, Cyrus Chestnut trio. Familiar classics and new favorites. Tight set. Food decent. Note 20% gratuity added. Service was worth it.

  • Review 140 (2023-05-22 - Rating: 4)

Excellent music, really good food, and a nice view of Central Park. My only complaint is that they ask the audience to be quiet which makes the vibe too solemn.

...Although DIZZYS CLUB boasts a bandstand on which performers backs are to a large window, offering sumptuous views of the Manhattan skyline, it is the rooms fine sightlines and EXQUISITE SOUND that put it at the head of the list of NYC jazz clubs...Their booking policy strikes a balance between top flight, established artists and up-and-coming talent...Front of house and wait staff are SUPERB: polished, professional, and friendly!...Southern-themed menu yields good food, and the drinks are stellar!...

What a wonderful time. Not only was the music and atmosphere great, but the staff made the experience amazing. We booked a large party and the email communication was accommodating and great. Even though we were late, they welcomed us with open arms. We were there for a wedding and the staff went to the ends of the earth to make the experience unforgettable for everyone, but especially the bride and groom. Food and drinks were great. We highly recommend Dizzys and hope you have as magical a time as we all did.

The Club is great. You sit at your table and be served with a wide range of foods and drunk to choose from.Tonight, the jazz music was very extreme. You like or dont like it. Jazz is not my style of music, but I was intrigued by the1st band. The leader had written jazz music for strings. Each violin znd the one cello played their own separate parts and the leader played the saxophone. It all fitted in well. The effort of writing all the movements was a masterpiece. The second banc was different, with a organist, drums, 2 saxophonists and a trumpet. They started to play one piece shich lasted nearly one hour. We left , like others, before the end.Great first experience, for me .
