    This is a great spot to watch the game. I sat here with my laptop, and got a Monday evening, special - burger and beer for $17, one guy walked in off the street and asked me the score of the Mets game, it was a doubleheader. I love the environment. Also I had a pretzel and other beer. The waitress was super friendly, And it is a great place to come in and relax. They have bar and grill food, plenty of beers. I am coming back for sure.

    I love this place. I went for brunch with a couple friends and got the bottomless Mimosa option. Drinks were flowing, food was delicious, and the service was phenomenal. I still recommend the tres leches french toast. Dont forget to mix your mimosa flavors like cranberry and pineapple. I recommend for a weekend brunch.

    Staff are SO NICE! I waltzed in here on New Years Eve with a crazy request (an over 12-person party plus two babies) and asked for a table. Despite every single table having reserved signs on them, the staff quickly said they could make it work for us if were willing to skedaddle before some 9:30p reservations. DONE! Like magic, they cobbled together a table for us and we had a lovely early New Years Eve gathering. They even brought crayons and coloring placemats for the kids. Thank you again, Rivercrest!

    Our waiter Rachel and manager Ciara went above and beyond to make our first visit to the Rivercrest an amazing time. Everything we drank and ate was delicious. Highly recommend the Buffalo wings, burger, and chicken sandwich. We got a side of fries and a side of tots to try a bit of everything. As someone who only goes for fries, the tots were surprisingly fresh, crispy, and tasty. Tiki Toki drink is the way to go if you want to be transported to an island. Service and atmosphere was perfect.

    The management and staff are on point and the food is always great.I gotta admit I was skeptical when this place came to the neighborhood, but every time my wife and I eat here, we’re always pleasantly surprised. It has a sports bar feel, which is the only reason I gave the ‘atmosphere’ 4 stars. A little noisy for us old folks..

    This place is amazing.The staff is amazing, helpful, friendly and accommodating. The food is good too and we’ll priced.They have a very cool way of ordering and easy to split bills.Order using the phone and each phone can be a separate bill. Simple as that.The table you are seated has a number and coordinates with your order in the phone.Live it. Fast drinks quick food. All you need for a good time.

    Nice sports bar with plenty of screens, attentive and friendly staff, wide selection of beers and decent food. Watched the Euro 2020 final here and it was very busy and buzzing but the staff worked hard to keep everyone hydrated and fed.

    Super fun and open neighborhood atmosphere for sports or elevated bar food! staff and esp managers are always mucho friendly and upbeat with smiles!Love to get buckets of beers and watch a game here, or people watch on the avenue. Warm pretzel is bomb and wings are top notch!

    Great place to drink and eat. Friendly bartenders are attentive. Large drink selection including many beers on tap, cans, and mixed drinks on tap. Local beers are featured. Food menu is nice too. Plenty of space inside. Funny wall decorations downstairs.

    Great location. Good vibes whether during off hours or during busy peak weekend and late night hours. Arek was my server and hes been amazing every time. Been here 3x and always a great experience. Enough tvs without being overwhelming, typical bar music and nice layout with the island bar. Unexpected semi private seating available as well (2 seperate areas). And gender bathrooms as a bonus. Loved it and will be back again.

    Rivercrest was a great experience for me. I attended with a group and the manager Ciara was very kind and accommodating. I was so impressed with our server Dean being so attentive and keeping everything straight. They had an excellent selection on tap and the food was great. It was also decked out for Halloween when I was there and it was delightful

    Recently went there for the first time on a football Sunday. Food and service was great and the manager who was there was very accomadating at putting my game of interest on the set. My friend and I spent about $200 in total and it was worth every penny. Will definitely be back for another football Sunday.

    Definitely a go to for us. They have a very good rotating beer selection and the best cheeseburger on the street. Service can be inconsistent and it can be very loud at times. We still love it though.

    What a fun and great place. Let’s start with that. A very digital play. You go sit down and scan the code on the table and order your drinks or food and it comes too you. You don’t have to worry about waiting for a waiter or waitress. It quite nice you Order on the app and it comes out shortly. The drinks are great and the food is wonderful. It’s a great place to meet your friends and have a few drinks or get some food. Come and bring your friends and families you won’t be sorry.

    Im a huge fan of this place. Food, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch. Its great for watching sports on one of the many TVs, or grabbing drinks, or dinner, or brunch. But the best part of Rivercrest is hands-down the owners and managers. They really go out of their way to make you feel good and have the best time possible. Cant recommend this place enough!

    Ciara the manager helped us reserve a large section for a community event last week. We were welcomed warmly and their app ordering system was explained to us. The app would have made the night very easy for the servers but it had a malfunction that made it unusable. The Rivercrest team pivoted and took our orders the old fashioned way without complaint. Our server Dean went from a relatively easy night to hectic when the app didnt work. He did a great job especially considering the group kept moving tables on him!Thanks again to Rivercrest for accomodating us!

    I’ve been living in Astoria Ditmars but just recently visited this excellent Restaurant & Bar. I was a bit shocked on how good this place was, such an unsuspecting spot to get brunch. The drinks were on point! I asked how well the wings are and our waiter (Rachel) said the wings and burger were the tastiest entrees. She was right! Even the fries that I was hesitant about getting was crispy and fried golden brown. The manager (Ciara) took a proactive approach and came to our table to apologize for the long wait for the wings. It was amazing how well the customer service was and for this being my first impression of the place I wanted to write an excellent review. I’m going back and bringing my crew so I could show them how knowledgeable and friendly the staff was! I’m going back!

    Straight forward menu but super delicious. Customer service is very good, everyone that worked there came to check on us. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The BLT flatbread is really good and my boyfriend says their burgers are pretty solid. Ill have to try that next time.

    This is my go-to place for brunch since I moved to this part of Astoria. Great food and the $25 unlimited drinks for 2 hours is a steal (delicious bloody Mary’s, multiple mimosa flavor options, and a great beer selection). Chris (bartender) and Rachel (server) are great!

    We had a phenomenal experience with the food and drink here! The wings are top notch, probably the best in the city. This is our quarantine fix, Shane and Kira are fantastic and super accommodating and the takeaway draft is a godsend. They started doing growlers today and if you haven’t had draft in some time, this is a must! Whether it’s pissing rain or fierce weather out, this place is hooking it up. The cat’s pyjamas, the bees knees, 15 out of 10!

    The beef bulgogi on the bi bim tots was amazing - very tender and flavorful. The cocktails were unique and delicious - not watery like another review said (we did not order the on-tap versions, so maybe that’s the difference?) the bacon on the breakfast sandwich was the highlight of the sandwich, thick and savory. The pretzel was super soft and had the perfect amount of salt. The cheese sauce that accompanies it had some peppers in it which gave it a subtle spicy/smoky flavor. The atmosphere was laid back and the decor interesting; especially the empty picture frame on the brick wall and the wall of what appeared to be drink labels on the way down the stairs to the restroom.

    We ordered the bottomless brunch and had a great time!Bartender was friendly and provided us with detailed information on the available drinks.We tried almost every flavored mimosa.Breakfast nachos were a miss. Scrambled eggs is not a good substitute for sunny side Stipe over nachos.The eggs Benedict florentine, fantastic!Great portion and I added a layer of bacon that hit the spot!Definitely a chill spot for some drinks and food anytime of the day.

    Definitely an enjoyable experience eating and grabbing a few drinks at this bar/restaurant. Plenty of space between the tables and perfect during those warm enough days when they can open the side panel walls to let a breeze come through.The food ordering process was unique, scanning a code at the table and ordering through your phone. This made ordering a second round of drinks and even an additional appetiser super easy without having to flag down the wait staff.The taste and amount of food for the cost was exactly as expected and kept me happy. Highly suggest stopping by the River Crest if you have a chance.

    This was my second time here last night for dinner and drinks. The host was welcoming and accommodating to my request for a specific table.We were a group of 5, and we spent close to 4 hours here! Great outdoor seating area, super friendly staff, and great food.MUST TRIES: Watermelon Frose, Parmesan Truffle Tots, the Burger, and the Ditmars Flatbread.Everything was great, the portions are perfectly sized, and the prices are great!AN ABSOLUTE MUST TRY!

    Great new spot to the area! A lot of craft beers to choose from and some really great cocktails but the food was outstanding! The burger was great, the fish tacos were awesome, but the ditmars flatbread won me over completely. Make sure to check this spot out!

    The fiance and I met up with two friends who recommended Rivercrest. I got the falafel and cauliflower tacos, and the fiance got the standard burger, we were both very happy with our orders. The tacos plate is a small order of food, but thats what I wanted, so it was perfect for me, but just be aware of that if youre looking for a big plate of food. We also split the tots, soooo good. That crunchiness is what every tot should aspire to. I got the Montauk Watermelon to drink (so happy thats back in season!) and he got the Gunners Daughter Milk Stout (and really enjoyed it). Joseline (sp?) was our server and was fantastic, she took really good care of us.

    Loved the food and the service was great. The Mac and cheese and the pork street tacos were amazing. The tater tots with truffles also amazing. Have to go back for the burgers and the brunch menu looks amazing have to go try it!

    Food is awesome! Really interesting combinations.. truly why people go out and taste food inventions! The staff are super friendly and the owner Shane makes you feel ver welcome . We ordered the Moroccan cauliflower whic is absolutely to die for, the creamy butternut squash fettuccine with an explosion in your mouth of pumpkin seeds , the big bin tots were a pleasure in my mouth, and a Rivercrest Standard cheeseburger was cooked to perfection! We really lucked out out finding this place and will be back again and again!

    Love Rivercrest, best place to watch a game in Astoria, especially if it is for a NY team because they are super enthusiastic about it.     Rivercrest is the home of the Queens Spurs (EPL football) first time visiting for a match and had a great time. So great that there were special deals just for spurs fans which really made it a home away from home. Will be back! Lets go Spurs!

    Had the Huevos Rancheros flat bread at brunch. I was quite surprised how much I enjoyed it. The eggs were done such that the yolks were custard like, with crispy edges on the whites. The portion was quite large and I found it to be filling. Making plans to try more items.

    Really wanted to give it a 5 stars, but there was a few minor things that was concerning.5 stars - Service was outstanding. Granted there was only two tables, the girl did a phenomenal job taking care of us.5 stars - The decor is great. Love the blood red color on the table, wall highlights and splashes on the images.5 stars - The space is huge. Its the largest food space on Ditmars for big groups. Like the center bar making it a great place to socialize while others eat on the sides3.5 stars - The food... Which has the most weight then anything else. The wings are generic with sizes that are tiny to average. The honey butter dip should be removed from the menu. It has zero taste. The habanero was tasty, but still average. Two small tacos, the avocado which is extra should be required to make this a reasonable size taco. Additionally one of the limes was dried out, so it must have been sitting around for a while. As far as the rice bowl. Great portion, the bulgogi was very tasty, however... its a COLD dish.. which I wasnt expecting with the hot meat on top. Would have been great to know this and given the option to be warm.Overall its a great bar spot, but not my first choice to eat on Ditmars with so many restaurants.

    Usually love coming here for big games and the like, always a good tap list and enjoy most of the food. Big fan of the wings.However, I tried the cinnamon pretzel tonight and felt very disappointed. The pretzel is dusted with just cinnamon and no sugar which made my mouth dry and had a burning affect. Also, the caramel sauce tasted very bitter and also like maybe it had been burned? Maybe just a bad night?I feel like they could maybe add a different item to the menu to round it out and provide another option for anyone with a sweet tooth.

    Had an amazing time yesterday for Mother’s Day. Rivercrest was able to accommodate our big party and the food and drinks were all incredible. The prices aren’t bad either. Place never disappoints. Highly recommend the margaritas, the pretzel and the pull apart bread. The burger is one of the best I’ve had.

    There’s a lot of things to really like about this place. The beer, atmosphere and food in general are all top notch. The staff is chill and friendly while also being attentive.But I want to focus in on the wings.I honestly think they are the best wings in the Astoria/Ditmars area. And I’ve looked!First, they’re juicy, not dry at all and yet the skin is still slightly crispy, the Hallmark of a perfect cook. You can get the traditional Buffalo 🔥 which has good heat without being overpowering. You can also get them in Sweet Chili 🌶 and along side that you can get the usual Blue Cheese, but the optional Avocado Ranch dressing is off the hook. Just incredibly delicious.Sports glow on the copious amounts of TV’s too. Great place to catch the game.

    This is the best bar restaurant on Ditmars, Shane & the Rivercrest team have really nailed it. The Rivercrest has to be commended on their premises, the staff are always polite & attentive, the many tv screens for sports, the Australian lady who sings on a Sunday is unbelievable, this is without a doubt a standout venue for the community of Astoria. The mixed drinks are always very well balanced. Great work. Delighted to have The Rivercrest as our local.

    If youre looking to go out and safely enjoy a great meal, this is the place to go. This restaurant did really good with distancing tables and taking the necessary precautions. The staff was very kind and attentive and the food was amazing. They also had a great selection of beers, with a majority of them being from Queens breweries.

    Let me tell you. Rivercrest is literally top tier bar. Everywhere you go to get a burger, you have to pay for fries. This place? Nope! And its reasonably priced for such good quality. You can also substitute for tots! If youre a beer person and like trying new beers out this is also the place for that. Great spot! Definitely need to try out some other food here

    Where else in Astoria can you watch sports and drink really good beer? Its dangerous that this place is in my neighborhood. Definitely give this place a visit even if you arent into sports. They have a smaller cocktail bar with no TVs so you can enjoy good beer, good cocktails, and good conversations. Bartenders are great. Owners are awesome. Food menu has many choices that you wouldnt expect to find at a sports bar which is cool. I usually just get the wings anyway because football and wings is a combo made in heaven. Yankee games were packed which was cool to see in Astoria.

    The space is HUGE. If you have a large group- it would be idea.I went in late ish 930 on a Tuesday night. it was basically empty for the space. BUT if it were a small bar, it had the perfect amount of people. The music was ALMOST too loud (the floors are cement so the noise bounces - inspite of the very high ceilings).The bartender was very pleasant and discussed his signature drink components - nice and interesting.I ordered fries. There were other things on the menu - the various tots looked good - but I wanted fries. they were unusually good.Why 4 stars...well....like other places - the prices are just a little too high. yes - it is the way of the world...but bringing things down (yes yes - rent is high) would make it more accessible.I would take a visitor there *IF* it wasnt packed.Top Tomato, we miss you.
