Theres nothing better than a great personality. Our waiter was very accommodating and fun. We found this restaurant very pleasurable. It literally makes the food taste better. The best ingredient to a meal is happiness.... ok, some ingredients were fresh and delicious and some were mildly understimulating. Their red potatoes were on point. Considering the price point and that fact I didnt have to make my own omelet in the morning, Id return again and again.

This place has been in my life for years. It out meeting place for NYC GAY PRIDE for 14 years. Staff are so friendly. When anyone comes to town this is re meeting spot. Just come watch a game have great conversation with any of the bartenders. You wont be disapponted.

After walking around for what felt like forever, my friend and I finally decided to eat at Riviera Cafe. Its a cute little spot with some outdoor seats, We sat indoors by a window and people watch. Its soo amazing of the diversity and uniqueness of people you see in NYC. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with fries which was just okay. However, my banana margarita was delicious and more so since it was only $4. My friend was on a diet and watching points and only had a small bowl of chili that was okay. However, she had two glasses of champagne (yeah she preferred to spend more points on the alcohol-lol). I would return since the prices were fair and its in a cool spot to check ou the hustle of bustle of the big apple.

Really hard to not like an institution. Riviera was a sports bar before flat screen TVs and it is still going strong. Soccer is on an upswing if your not a fan of the Boston sports viewing events. Beer and drink selection is is plenty ample. Good pub menu and plenty of space if you have a small crew of a party.

A great place to sit in or out doors and people watch while eating a burger and drinking an ice cold beer. Good food, service and priced right. I had the Bacon Cheeseburger with some really good fries.

It was nice for a quick lunch my server was friendly and I had a large turkey club with fries. Not a hard dish to make for sure, but other places have messed it up.

Their brunch is one of the best in the city - pretty decent food (esp considering that its a cheap sports bar) and unlimited champagne, with gorgeous outdoor seating in the center of West Village, all for about $15. You cannot beat that. Ive been here 10+ times for brunch and its *always* been a great time. Their wait staff is fun and attentive.Also great for happy hour. Cannot recommend this place enough.

An incredible attitude and atmosphere by any standards, the Riviera is a top choice for dinner and drinks on a budget in West Village. This place is worth the trip for the people alone, and the bartender, Mike, is an absolutely magnificent man. Very inviting and engaging, he not only started conversation and served the best Long Island Iced Tea Id had in the city, but even went as far as introducing me to the scene in the area and helping me with my friend whod had a bit too much. A total lifesaver, and a beautiful soul. I would definitely recommend a stop here anytime youre looking for a good time and good people in West Village.

Ive been here once .. and must say the $4 margaritas are the reason I am going back. I tried some apps. they were good never had fried pickles before. It was a winner! Going back tomorrow, if I have a change of heart will let you know! If not totally recommend for happy hour.

Riviera is absolutely the most fun place Ive ever been to. The service is phenomenal. The brunch offering is the best in the city. Couldnt imagine going anywhere else. Thanks for everything. This place is the best xoxo

I came here for brunch and I was happy with the service and the food. Kiki was an awesome waitress, she was very nice and attentive. They work with you if you want to substitute certain items. Its also pet friendly. They have brunch specials with unlimited amount of coffee, mimosa, bloody mary, etc...They have outside seating with nice comers

Stumbled upon this place by accident, waiting to go eat dinner. Mike the bartender was amazing and made excellent drinks as well as have good advice for other local stops.I would defiantly recommend stoping on her for a beverage.
