Excellent food with reasonable price! We were so hungry and bumped into this gastropub. We were seated by the window and there were so many big screens on that we could watch from afar. Music was a bit loud but service was really good: professional and quick. We ordered some starter salad, schnitzel, and ham Benedict, all of which were excellent! The quality of the meal was so good we finished everything. Yes we were hungry but the taste was really like in Europe. The schnitzel in particular was like the one I ate in Vienna: fresh, thin, crispy on the outside and yet juicy on the inside, and the batter was seasoned perfectly. We didn’t order any drinks but would give this place another try for the drinks. Would definitely recommend this place.

Great gastro pub in midtown. They have an awesome selection of food items and a fun brunch on the weekends. I really love their pastrami french dip sandwich - its huge and perfect for sharing with a crowd. The pastrami egg rolls are also delicious, and like crack, you might need a 2nd order of them! They have a little of something for everyone - burgers, flatbreads, and a ton of shashuka style breakfast dishes for brunch!Vibe here is good, they have plenty of TVs for watching sports and its pretty easy to push a few tables together if you come with a group!

We went in for an after dinner drink. Nice bartenders! The food looked amazing! We will be back for a cheeseburger with fries and pork schnitzel. And some football.Went back. Sweet potato fries were great! Stick to the drinks and the snacks.

What a great gem...we had an amazing brunch with a group of friends. The food was delicious, the service was top notch and the dessert was the cherry on top of a perfect Sunday. Dan thank you for making us feel special. We are looking forward to coming back!

Love coming here! The food is delicious. Vibe is great. The drinks are fantastic! Highly highly recommend. This is an incredibly special place. And happy hour is weekdays til 8! I love French onion soup—and this one blew me away. I even got a soft pretzel on the side. The Caesar salad is grilled!! So many awesome and delicious differentiators here.

There is a young waitress who always serves us when we’re here on Fridays, she always offers awesome service and is very kind. She helped me find a lost item of jewelry today and returned it very kindly. Deals are good but service is also important! Will keep coming back every week if she’s is available to serve us.

Great place in mid Town. They have a front of the bar with multiple televisions showing different sports. There is a area in the back where people dine but weekends used as a dance floor. The place looks clean and neat. The food is delicious. Look at what I bougt in the picture.

Great food during 5-8pm weekdays happy hour! Happy hour until 8pm is a welcome change in this neighborhood. The menu is really nice, with regional European specialties that are hard to find in nyc like langos (Hungary), currywurst (Germany), and flammenkuche (Austria/alsace/swiss, I think?)

We hit this place up on a Wednesday for an after work happy hour and it was perfect for the occasion. Drinks are reasonably priced, the food was pretty good and they kept it moving and our waitress took very good care of our tables. My only gripe, and its a minor one, is that the music Playlist was seriously about 12 songs long and then would just repeat the same songs in the same order again. We asked them if they could mix up the music and they just turned it up louder. LOL. oh well, you cant win em all. Everything else was great though.

I visit NYC a couple times a year and eat nearly all my meals at local bars and pubs. I sort of accidentally stumbled across this place today and am so glad I did. This place is REAL. it’s cozy but not pretentious, great music playing but not too loud. The best part is that, over lunch, the place is full of locals and workers on their lunch break. The bartender is knowledgeable but neither pushy nor dismissive. A variety of sports on the tvs and fair prices (lower than the typical Manhattan prices). I had the Nordica flatbread (smoked salmon) and it was delicious. Most of the locals were drinking beer and snacking on fries. I loved listening casually to the real conversations, both those of the locals and the handful of tourists who also stopped in. This is a place you can stop for one or just hang out for a few hours without feeling uncomfortable. Like I said, I stop in a lot of these places (eight or ten just in the past three days) and this is the best by far. Check it out!

A hidden gem in Midtown.We found this place by accident on our last day. The hot wings, steak sandwich and mac and cheese were great, and the service was excellent and the atmosphere was really friendly with lots of people eating, drinking and singing along at the bar.

Awesome Romenian style food! My brother and I were so well treated by the staff here. Really above average service, and meals. We had the croquetes as entry; they were probably one of the best croquettes I have tried in my life! Their polenta is also special.Came back the other day for the Side Door Burger. It reminded me a burger you would eat at The Hard Rock Cafe. They served my meat medium to medium well though, while I had ordered medium rare... It seams its increasingly difficult to have your burger closer to rare nowadays... Probably has to do with regulations and health codes.

It was over two year since I went to a bar..Happened to go here for a moving on up celebration..We had a space in the back of the bar which was fabulous..The drinks was on point, happy hour was kicking..the drinks werent expensive at all even after happy hour..the menu really was surprisingly delicious..the wings are good and the Truffle fries..Best of all was the staff..It was like the old days for me..They was so pleasant ..so if you want a get together after work , call them and go..much fun..

We went here on a late Sunday afternoon to watch the football games. There were enough TVs and a solid menu offering various takes onEastern European gastro fare.Everything was pretty much new to me. The friend I went with is Eastern European so she was able to explain the various dishes. She loved the diahes we ordered. My favorite was the fried burger. Never had this before. Called langosbrgr, its an angus prime on a bed of caramelizedonion, gouda cheese, ajvar wrapped in dough and deep fried. Never had anything like it.We also had Mici sliders.Romanian style sausage made of beef and lamb on ahomemade flatbread layered with mustard and giardiniera . It was like a mini open gyro in a taco format.The owner and staff were super nice and funny. Also met a couple of regulars and had a good time.The space is large and has a bunch of Eastern European flags hanging.I will definitely go back and check the rest of the menu.Go check out their take on Eastern European cusine.
