This is one of the favorite spots in Queens for hookah and shakes! Definitely try the Oreo milkshake :) The atmosphere is very calming and relaxing. The staff are super nice and welcoming. Hands down, The staff takes cares of her customers and is always helpful, especially Danish, Eddy and Noor. If your bored, or find yourself staring at your phone with your friends while here, trying playing the board game Ludo. Have fun & Enjoy!

I have only ordered takeout/delivery from here, so I cant rate the atmosphere. But the food is EXCELLENT. They have an eclectic, multinational menu that very much reflects modern Queens and this particular neighborhood, Glen Oaks. The only thing that the menu items really have in common with each other is that they all taste really good. I love the chicken tikka, my son loves the jerk chicken, my MIL likes the lemon chicken - and everyone loves the pasta and the wings. Doesnt get more pan-Queens than that. I am not a hookah guy - I just think this place has some of the best food in the neighborhood.BTW I had a problem with one of their deliveries that was entirely the fault of the delivery service and, in particular, one driver. Its impossible on these platforms to complain about anything except a specific dish, so when the driver failed to deliver any of the accompaniments and then turned his phone off, I could either say that the restaurant screwed up or not. The service fees and tips, the payments to the people who screwed it up, could not be adjusted. SO unfair to restaurants. I feel terrible about it - I have loved this restaurant for years - and they cooperated throughout and probably ended up taking a hit from $rubhub. So Im leaving the 5 star review that they deserved years ago! Highly recommended place.

This place has the best Hookah and service. I will not go anywhere else for hookah and food. Afghani tea is a cherry on top. Try their Love 66 with grape and mint or peach snapple remix in a Wookah hookah. Im visiting from Texas, and I have done hookah for 15 years and tried hookah in NY, LA, and Dubai. This is hands down the best.

The staff is extremely professional and customer service is unmatched. If you want a place with great atmosphere, food and ESPECIALLY hookah come here and spend your money. I recommend Skyfall, its smooth and would compliment any food you can get...the Hookah lasts you well over an hour and a half. Just be careful you will lose track of time with the good food & hookah lol. If you dont know what flavor to try speak with the Assistant manager Dillion he is laid back and knows what he is talking about, thank you for the service as always and great customer service and food.

It’s one of the nicest hookah places around the neighborhood. They offer a wide variety of flavors to choose from. Fir hanging out with friends and chilling it’s a perfect spot.But for the food I wouldn’t recommend it that much. Tried out the food and it was pretty much average. I felt like you can get better food with the given price range around this area. I will highly recommend to take the jalapeño poppers fro the appetizers.The owner is pretty chilled and a great person. So you will enjoy the visit over here anyhow.

The hookah, tea, and cuisine are enough of a draw in its own, but the service is what really puts Majlis ahead of the competition.Parking - street parking available, have to pay up to a certain time (I think 7pm)Bathrooms - two small bathrooms for all. Very cleanSize - large enough to accommodate small groups, but also see many enjoying shisha with their laptops by themselvesDrinks - Moroccan Tea with a little honey is hard to beat. They have large and small pots. Can’t go wrong with Turkish Tea either! Only non sugar sweetener options are sweet and lowFood - we loved everything I have had so far. I’ve been coming here for about 10 years now, NY native and no other place can compare. the staff is kind and they remember you. if there’s any friction, they try their best to change your mind to which has happened with myself at times. it’s reliable, halal and the food is equally as good. i saw some negative comments complaining about the pasta, would you go to a pizza place and ask for tandoori? no, you wouldn’t.

Great hookah and lovely ambience. The only thing that will make me not come to this place anymore is the food options. The menu has been changed completely. No vegetarian options except appetizers. What I liked the most before was the paneer roll or falafal platter but theyre not on the menu anymore. Staff is not very attentive either. Brought out regular fries when I asked for masala fries and the cappuccino was cold so we had to ask them to reheat it. But thats totally fine, we all make mistakes. If the management brings back the vegetarian entrees back, Ill be more than happy to come back. And maybe train employees a little better, instead of memorizing the order, itd be helpful to write it down. Otherwise, a great place to be at.

They have a wide variety of games and also their food menu is big. I get lost what to order. But I love their lava cake and Nutella Cake that they make in house. I am a regular here, and the place came a longggg way I should say. I use to be at Steinway every week… and everyone who goes there knows all about PARKING. Plus let us not forget about the traffic getting there on weekends. This is right off the highway, after 7 no issues with parking here…. Hookah and service that is what I am all about and that is what I get here. Coal runs are quick ..Staff is friendly, owner greets you personally I dont have to wave my hands 50 times to get noticed for my check or anything else.. Music is great and they mix it up .. Food came a long way too.. all in all I tried going back to Steinway and some other hookah place.. and keep coming back here. They must be doing something right.

I love Majlis, I come here almost every other week with my fiancé. The service never disappoints and the hookah is always rich. The coals are constantly being replaced for a long lasting hookah experience. The food is also great. I highly recommend the chicken over rice or the lamb over rice.

Everything was exactly as it was explained to me on the phone. I was amazingly impressed with the venues food and hookahs. When asked for help on choosing a certain flavor they suggested such a great tasting shisha that i just had to reorder after smoking the first bowl. The food in this lounge is to die for. The staff was on point and quick to give me fresh and newer coals for the hookah. I live in CT but I WILL be coming back. No doubt about that. 👍🏼

So im not one to write reviews, ever. But after looking for a solid Hookah Lounge to go on a date to, I came across Majilis. After reading all the reviews I saw every review say either amazing food, amazing hookah, amazing music, amazing service or all of them. Except for one reviewer who complained about the only girl who waits the tables saying how rude she was and what not. Disregarding the one bad reviewer I went to this place solely based on the reviews. I got seated right away, they brought me a hookah right away. I didnt get any hot foo, just fries and hummus but it was still really good and I saw other people eating the Hot plates which looked really good we just werent that hungry. I saw some people playing this really big weird board game and I was interested so I asked our waitress what it was and to maybe explain to us what the game was. This is the same waitress who got a bad review because she was the only girl there. She stayed with us for at least 5 minutes or so explaining the ENTIRE game to us very nicely and patiently. And after she came around every once in a while asking how we were doing with the game and seeing if we had any questions or wanted more service. She was very nice despite the reviewers bad thoughts and she made the experience that much better because we got to play a new game from Pakistan we just learned. I dont usually go to Hookah Lounges but this one I would for sure recommend to anyone to go to with friends or on a date and I would go again. Really chill for either honestly. They have cards and board games for you to play just ask. I was very happy with my experience here.

I’m not very profound of hookah lounges, but when it comes to majlis it’s beyond an exception. I have been going there for almost 4 years and never had any problems. The staff are always beyond nice and helpful no matter what. I personally know the owner but that doesn’t mean I’m going to write a fake review to be nice. The owner himself is always on the floor and helping every customer with their needs. The hookah, the food, the music, and the vibe is just amazing. It’s truly hard to find a place with great hookah and amazing food, but this place is like a pot of gold end of a rainbow. P.S. their ceiling is just beyond beautiful.

This is hands down, my favorite hang out place. Im usualy here at least 4/5 times a week, it feels like a second home. The ambiance is on point here, im always in a better mood after I leave from here. The hookah is great and the service is even better. Majlis has very friendly and efficient staff. Everyone is very nice but Danish and Sasha are my two favorite servers, but Sasha is the best, she is so welcoming and friendly, I feel like ive gained a new friend :) They always look out for us and make sure our hookah and food is on point and will fix it if we arent satisfied. The best part is that they have ludo here, which is another reason that makes us come back again and again. The owner of the place is very nice as well, always adressed all his guests to make sure everyone is comfortable and the best thing is that he treats his staff very well.

Came here with a few friends and was astonishingly surprised with the quality of hookah here. We ordered 2 wookahs (wooden hookahs) with their top 2 favorite flavors that the staff recommended. Had lunch here today and the white and African American waiters i had were amazing!!! Mad the experience one of the best I’ve ever had. The food was super good too. Tried the sweet chili Wings (amazingggg), jerk chicken, grilled chicken sandwich, falooda, and lemonade mojito. Everything was great and the staff was super nice as well!
