    I recently visited NY from Texas for Thanksgiving, I love hookah and dancing so my boyfriend took me here. I was there on Saturday and the DJ was excellent. He played a great mix of music that kept me out of my seat. Not many people were dancing, but it is what it is, he was still great. We ordered one drink (Long Island) and it was mixed very well. The highlight was the hookah. I’m a self proclaimed hookah head and I thought it smoked perfectly. I see there’s plenty of negative reviews, but thankfully I didn’t experience anything bad and really enjoyed myself.

    I disagree objectively. African-American with open weekends. My experience remain above average, depending on the day of your visit - I’d recommend Saturday & Sunday night majorly. I do bottles so I wouldn’t know complaints from a regular guest. I would pick Melody over Vybz in the same axis and ‘m cool with both owners.

    Absolutely loved the vibes. It was packed so if ur uncomfortable being too close to someone stay home... Everyone else youll have a blast. The DJ played a wide selection of music, food was great , drinks Ill give it ⅗.

    Went on Wednesday night and had a great time. It was free to get in. The wings and the frozen margaritas were so good! The DJ was good too. He was playing a variety of music: Hip hop, Dancehall, Bachata, Reggaeton.Side note: It’s very hard to find parking in the area.

    This spot was hella dope! Queens kicks it. I came from Kansas City to visit my sister in Harlem she opened a store off Lenox Av. called Trintage and we went there to celebrate we had a Great time, DJ and the crowd was LIVE and the staff was koo. I would mos def come back here.

    I went there last night maybe like 1 2 AM and was surprised how great the customer service was honestly usually around that time the bartenders and waiter have an attitude but no this one man keep coming to check on us every 10 minutes 1000000/100000 to who ever he was. Good food and hooks too

    I admire Melody lounge. First time I went was in 2013. Last time I was there was 6/23/2023. The employees, the owner, the security treat you with such welcomeness, love, care, & respect. They attend to your service as quickly as possible. They never forget a face. lol Top Queens lounge to go too to have fun and enjoy appetizers. See you again soon.

    Aww, I’m sad to see that my favorite hookah spot in Astoria got poor ratings. I love the staff (they are extremely friendly) and the ambience is definitely cool. It’s also important for spots like this to have dope DJs and they definitely have them. I actually highly recommend Melody’s! Definitely will choose them over HOA any given day or until they hire a better DJ.
