Jack Jones was an experience. Although I went during lunch, I found it lively during a rainy day. The lunch special had various options, but elwhat I stayed for was the cocktails. The Hotel California was smokey yet,not over baring. All and all I would come here again for sure.

This place is great. The food is excellent. The servers are very nice. The reason I had to give them only five stars is just because they have me and my girlfriend water glasses of two very slightly different heights. It was subtle, but they were definitely NOT identical glasses. One was probably a centimeter taller (or the other was that much shorter, depending on how you look at it). Otherwise, the water tasted the same. The fries were also super good and so was the side salad.

The lunch special is a fantastic deal, changes regularly and is always speedy and fresh. Servers are fantastic and friendly and the vibes are always great. Our favorite spot in the neighborhood!Updating the review to add that they have been super accommodating of some recent allergies - I completely trust the servers and kitchen to take care of me. Jack Jones is a cozy neighborhood spot with friendly staff and consistently great food and drinks. I am always impressed by how well the staff manages a busy crowd, even on St Patrick’s Day when there was a line to get in! My husband and I have been coming here since it opened and whenever we bring family and friends in they are impressed with the quality of food and service- it is definitely not just another average bar. We love having a go-to spot in the neighborhood for a great meal, some banter w the wonderful staff, to catch a game and sometimes even live music. Highly recommend.

I went in with some friends for dinner and had an amazing time. Our server, Tanya, went above and beyond for us. I wasn’t sure what to order but she helped me select the steak sandwich which was exactly what my taste buds were after! I’ve never been here but now they’ve got a dedicated customer out of us. Definitely recommend and ask for Tanya because she will make your evening as great as she did ours.

Excellent food and drinks served by excellent people. Havent had a Guinness that good since I was in Ireland proper. Their lunch special (food+beer for ~$14) is unbeatable, but come back for brunch and get their incredible Irish breakfast. Love coming to this place again and again, and look forward to every visit.

Stopped in for brunch on a rainy Sunday, got a seat at the window right away. Handicap accessible entrance and bathrooms. Outdoor space year round except when its raining. Super friendly server, the menu is small but they do have gf and vegetarian options. I got the short rib burrito and my friend got the hippie omelette, and we got a peanut butter hot chocolate and a hot toddy. Came out super fast and we loved it!

Cool vibe at this bar in terms of lighting and holiday spirit. Reasonable prices for very good drinks. But Sydney actually offering separate checks for our large group? That was icing on the cake. Great bar but better service and people.

Cant express how amazing this place is! Moved here a week ago and it the first place I went to and it instantly became my favorite establishment on Ditmar! Jerry, Meghan and Blair are true treasures from their friendly demeanor to their knowledge to their contagious attitudes and care. And their food and drink offerings are just as great! Best wings in Astoria! Food is excellent, and Jack Jones staff is friendly, efficient, and fabulous. Although they arent many cheaper beer options, the draft beer selection is solid. Plenty of outdoor seating along 38th Street to keep the crazies on Ditmars from disturbing your time too much. Clean bathrooms. Worth a visit.

The beer is great, the live music is wonderful, and the space is beautiful. Im telling you right now, the fried fingerling potatoes are the best thing on the menu. Ive heard rumors that people swear by their burgers as well. Its a shame their steak sandwiches are dry. Had it twice to be sure. Otherwise a great spot!
