We had such a great time! And the food was surprisingly good! In a place like this you assume you’re paying for the vibe and the food takes a back seat. Not here! We enjoyed everything we ate! It was packed and at no point were we left waiting. Our server was always on point. The table was always clean and cleared. The DJ was great! Will definitely be back! Order the B52 shots!

This is it. This is the spot in Time Square that you want to go to and meet people and just have a good time. For the most part, the DJ plays good music.. just keep in mind who their crowd usually is. Drinks are reasonably priced. Restrooms arent the best but manageable. Youre gonna have a good time.

My kids and I headed there after google searching a good burger! My 9 year old was excited and we got there and thought 21+, but they took us in! We had a burger, Big Mac quesadilla, chicken tenders and cheese sticks and everything was awesome! The staff was great and attentive and atmosphere was perfect! We are full and happy! My son told me it was the perfect burger and was glad we ran there in the rain. On the way out we thanked them for welcoming us and they gave the kids some free Irish Chips! Thanks for making NYC Vaca even better!

Wow! Honestly I can’t express how grateful I am to meet such wonderful people. I had an unexpected cancellation flying home to Ohio and experiencing New York for the first time ever. Of course coming to this beautiful City was on my bucket list and I got to experience kind and loving people. The staff here are truly a great time and really look out for you. It served traditional food and drinks, featuring Irish music and entertainment. The vibe was casual and laid-back, with everyone having fun, chatting, and laughing. Even before opening the door, I heard exuberant laughter and cheers.The food was hearty, and the drinks even heartier, thanks to bartender Ashley, a beautiful Irish woman from Galway. The menu offered classic Irish dishes like Irish stew, boxty, and Irish soda bread. Despite the lack of live music during my visit, the entire bar spontaneously broke into a sing-along of Taylor Swifts Blank Space. The pub itself had traditional decor, featuring local and regional art, with walls filled with patrons keepsakes and artifacts. It’s definitely the perfect place for meeting friends, with no generational gaps to speak of. I saw elderly people speaking to the young with respect, and the young repaying the courtesy.*****10 out of 10*****

I first came here about 2 months ago and met Louisa which is why we came back this time. What an amazing Irish waitress hung out with us. Talk to us about her old town so were back today which is in December to celebrate a birthday. The waitresses are still just as amazing and Louisa wasnt hereI where my waitress Im but we will come back and find her but we had Alyssa klina and Jocelyn and they were just as great. I highly recommend this place. Its so much fun. I have fun every time I come here.

Located in Hells Kitchen neighborhood close to Time Square in midtown Manhattan, the Mean Fiddler isnt a regular sport bar restaurant like most Irish bars in the city, it goes above our expectations. I have been a regular at this spot for almost 5 years and I had the most pleasant experience with staff, management team and security guards. Its the place where I met people from all over the world (all 5 continents) and some of them became my close friends. I also brought a few of my childhood/high school/medical friends here and they had a blast. Cool, vibrant, chill atmosphere with one of the best bartenders in NY like my friend Aaron you can see in my pics. The management really knows how to keep up with their customers, the staff truly cares about your comfort, your safety. Foods are excellent, tasty, delicious (mostly Mexican dishes) and the quality of their drinks is top notch. This cozy sport bar is in my humble opinion a night club and keep in mind, they are opened literally every day until 4am which is not the case to most spots in midtown who tend to close up early if nobody shows up from 12-2am. As a google review member, trust my words you cant go wrong with the mean fiddler. As always, be kind, be respectful to the staff, tip the bartenders if you can (as you should lol) and enjoy the moment of your life. 100000/10 recommend! Best bottomless whatever!!! Amazing ambiance with amazing music and even better service. I’ve never had a waitress be SO on top of refills! I was so impressed. Even when it got busy, she was still on top of us, even switched to pitchers to make it a little easier! Only thing I would suggest is not getting the rum punch! It tasted like it didn’t have any alcohol in it! So I switched to the mango margarita and it was amazing!!

Headed to Mean Fiddler for their Grinchmas Brunch and had a good time as always. Although the music selections were not as festive as they normally are and the whole place was way too dimly lit, this experience is still a fun way to do a brunch with friends during the holidays. $30 bottomless drinks that were yummy, festive, and always flowing. With 90 minutes to eat and drink, you can certainly have a great time and get your moneys worth. Be sure to make an RSVP early because this is a fun NYC staple during the holidays and wear your Christmas sweaters!

If people have reservations, they should be seated at their given time. Especially if there is a strict seating time limit (it does start once you’re actually seated, hence why we had to wait past my reservation). This was my first time coming here to celebrate my birthday. This place gets packed! If you have a seat with your back facing the bar, people will be constantly bumping you to walk between your chair and the people standing/dancing at the bar. This happened the whole time we was there to one of my party guest.One of your staff members took my plate without asking me if I was done. I did ask him why he took my plate & he said because he thought I was done because I had a napkin on my chips. I told him, “I get it, but you should always ask people if they are done before taking their plate”. He did ask if I want replacement chips & I told him no.My husband’s fish and chips was very oily and he basically wasted more than 3/4 of it. The rest of us (3 other people) didn’t have problems with our food. After those few hiccups, the rest of the experience was fun. Good music, good drinks and good vibes. I enjoyed the birthday shoutout from the DJ!

Mean Fiddler is my spot for real. I’ve been going here for two years now and their food is on point. I love the fact that their brunch option is a wide window which makes it good for people of different schedules. I’ve tried a lot of different brunch entrees and they’ve all hit the spot with the drinks doing what needs to be done. I recommend. However , when it comes to urban sounds or music , you won’t find too much if it. That’s the only reason why it gets one less star. I asked the DJ (when he is there ) one time if he could play more caribbean or hip hop beats, and he said he had to go with the demographic. 👀.I normally have my drinks here and pop out somewhere else. But regardless , I’ll be coming back, lol.

This was a cool pub. The waitress was so cool. So accommodating. The host is lovely. The food.... OMG..... everyone enjoyed their meal. I had a roadhouse burger to die for... so good. Well seasoned. The bacon, cheddar cheese, fried onions, pickles and lettuce brought the burger together and what topped it off was the brioche bun 😋 👌🏾👍🏾🙌🏾 The fries were so crispy and nicely salted. I was so full from my meal. Def will go there for food alone. The music was good too. A lil outdated but played some tunes....

The food wasn’t bad, I got chicken wings and my friend had a burger with fries.Also, the place turns into a club after a certain time and we loved it!!! What a great find for lunch today..bartender was extremely helpful and inviting at 10:55 am. Do not let the outside deceive you. Once you enter you are welcomed by a wide room with open spaces, very unusual in a midtown pub where the expected is a sausage-like location with cramped quarters. Attentive service, music at the right volume. They serve the usual pub fare, and if like to highlight their Shepherd Pie, well prepared and flavorful. Beer selection features draft from the big houses, well poured. A nice Oasis so close to Times square madness.

I really love this place. Usually, this place is crowded. A couple of times, we were asked to wait for a while or been turned down. I highly recommend reservation in advance. But the atmosphere is very good here. WBar staff and wait staff is very friendly. Even though the bar is buys, the bar staff is very attentive, and they get your drinks right away.Sometimes late night you can see people dancing. Overall its a great place to hang out and have some drinks.

This is my absolute favorite spot in the city. First of all, a bottomless dinner is hard to find! I think that they charge a fair price. And the drinks they serve are yummy and relatively strong. I made reservations, and of course, with New York traffic, I was late. That it wasnt super busy so they sat us very quickly. The $30 all you can drink for 90 minutes is definitely a must. They have cute drinks and photo opportunities everywhere. I thought the food was gonna be a side note, but it definitely was not. Everything we had was well made and very tasty. The service was on point, and when we had to leave in a rush, the waitress got us out in a hurry, which I definitely appreciated. I will definitely go back and highly recommend.

The mean fiddler is seriously one of my favorite bars. The bartenders and the servers go above and beyond for their customers. Mo and Oisin were serving our table. The manager, Victoria maybe Tory? I had the wings friend had a bunless burger... delicious.Spent $115 for two. 25$ each on all you can drink for 90 minutes and the two entries (that included tip). I gave an extra $10 then sat at the bar had a few shots before heading home.Would recommend and would come back with an after-work gang.

Booked on Resy for a Saturday early afternoon Christmas brunch for two. Mean Fiddler is located right around the corner from 8th Avenue, off 47 st. Theres an outdoor seating with the name of the establishment, making it easy to find. We walked in 30 minutes early for our reservation (12:30 arrival, 1 PM reservation) but the hostess sat us with no problem. They opened at 12, so only 3 other tables were occupied when we arrived.The inside was very very Christmas Grinch festive, super cute. Christmas lights, garlands hanging around, blow up Grinches when you walk in and hanging up. Ladies bathroom was clean. They have high seating tables and regular seating tables, tables a little small to hold the food/drinks, but doable. We sat for the 90 min bottomless brunch, $25 for that in addition to whatever entree you pick. The menu is available via scanning the barcode on your phone.They gave a free round of green tea shots as soon as we sat down, and those shots were delicious! They were on top of making sure we had drinks throughout the 90 minutes. We tried strawberry and passion fruit frozen margaritas, the naughty Santa margarita, the Mango margarita. Our favorite was the mix of strawberry and passion fruit frozen margarita, they gave us two small pitchers of this so we could refill our drink easily. The drinks came with grinch decor and mini candy canes. The nachos were great, had jalapeños and a spicy kick in the white sauce. The wrap was tasty and the quesadilla good. Quesadilla portion was pretty small for $22, but the rest of the eats were decent sized. They brought two more green tea shots and rang an alarm/shouted out our birthday towards the end of our visit, which was great. They give you time checks when youre running close to the end of the bottomless.Our waitress was Katy, she was pleasant, sweet, and had a great Irish accent. The music was great as well, a mix of 80s and 90s/early 2000s, just up our alley. When Katy was busy the other waitresses made sure to come check in on how we were doing.They include automatic 20% tip with bottomless brunch, paid just under $145 for two people which is fine for a midtown location and non stop drinks for 1.5 hours. Would definitely visit again and do recommend.

Had time to grab something quick, and this place was across the street from the theater. Walked in, and the place was packed! The only e py tables were actually reserved. There was 1 stool available at the bar, and one of the hostesses found an empty stool and brought it over. That was really nice of her!! She also saw we may have been in a tight spot, so she moved us to a wider area. I was really grateful for her going g out of her way. I did not catch her name, but she was a little and hanging by the entrance. Sat down, and I have to have my Guiness, which Ashley poured immediately. She has such a welcoming smile and both her and Luisa are so nice. I asked Ashley what she would order for a quick bite, and she suggested the crispy fish tacos. She was right on the money! Theu were delish and just the right amount since the show was going to start across the street. I made sure I gave a nice tip, and I promised both Ashley and Luisa I would return because of their hospitality! Great bar!!!

Had such a great experience at Mean Fiddler. Visited last week for bestie date night before our play. Definitely the coolest bar I have ever been to. And they dont kick you out if youre drunk. One girl was so drunk she stood on the bar and started dancing and the bartenders were just pouring straight liquor into her mouth and they wouldnt stop! We had brunch here and had an absolute blast. Their menu is unique because they actually have a nice variety including canned beer if you want, and once you start the clock, our Hostess was really good about making sure that our pictures were always filled and that we always had I drink in our hands, which is pretty rare nowadays. The food was also excellent, and there was even a live DJ the day that we went, making for some pretty fun and enjoyable Vibes. There was even a conga line at one point! Aside from that, I will say that the one benefit of branching in the city is that the trains are right there, parking is scarce but you probably shouldnt be brunching and driving anyway, and theres tons of spots to go to after, whether it be for a nightcap or for a quick bite to eat. The location is also super ideal, its not terrible to walk up to the Halal Guys cart, or down to one of the Chick-fil-A is that are in that part of the city. So I definitely recommend checking it out if you were considering!

My partner and I were very pleasantly surprised by this place. We sat at the bar before seeing Six (which was excellent). The bartenders were very friendly. I ordered a mocktail, which the bartender graciously made and which was just juices - it was ok. But my partner had 2 espresso martinis and said they were very tasty. They smelled wonderful.The real pleasure of this experience was the food. We ordered appetizers (Small Plates and Pub Grub menus).First, the Irish Curry Fries (Small Plates menu). The yellow curry is exactly what I remember from a trip to Dublin and satisfied a craving I have had for nearly a decade! My Indian partner was also pleasantly surprised with how much he liked the curry lol. My only desire was that the fries would be thinner - they are thick cut, which can be useful to spoon up the curry, but I prefer thin and crispy for this dish.Second, the Fiddler Nachos with steak (Pub Grub menu). I almost didnt say anything to my partner because it seemed so crazy and basic, but he was the first to say so and I was happy to agree: Are these the best nachos Ive ever had?! Possibly. The steak was soft and cooked just fine for the dish, chopped into bite size and not strips. There seemed to be a creamy cheese dip that had a nice flavor, and was not just cheese sauce. There was also real cheese, melted well. The guac and other additions to the nachos were tasty and fresh. But best of all, ALL of the chips stayed crispy and 0 were soggy. Perhaps the only thing Id change is, if the chips are made in house, give a generous finish of salt when they come out of the fryer, and a good squeeze of fresh lime all over the dish right before serving. It would make all the flavors stand out a little more.Finally, we also got the Potato Crusted Chicken Tenders (Small Plates menu). As someone who only eats gluten free, this was a delight. Crispy, tasty, juicy, big portion, and the honey mustard was fine too - but nothing too special.All in all, a great experience and if we are around there before another show, we may stop back in.
