Love, this place! will recommend to anyone who wants to have fun. Their prices are good and you can bring your own food and drinks inside. Ive booked this place several times for about 3 hours for 8 people. For my daughters birthday, about 3 years in a row, she loves it. It never gets old. My daughter is now sixteen.

Didnt come here to eat so I cant speak of the food one way or another.A very wonderful friend and I were still amped up after seeing a big concert in town, so we visited to sing our hoarse, pitchy little hearts out - and we did just that!The private booths were nice, the song selection was basically just a YouTube search bar but it yielded just about anything we had wanted to sing so no complaints there.All in all it was oodles of fun. Should we ever visit again in the future, Id just like to do it perhaps a little earlier in the evening, and preferably with a well-rested voice that HADNT just spent the last few hours screaming like a maniac over a burly German man.

We recently had a birthday party here and we had the best time. They were great about accommodating a group of 20 of us. The room was really large with a projector and they let us decorate it the way we wanted beforehand. We also hung out with drinks at the bar space before and after our karaoke session, which was perfect for the friends who couldn’t join us in the room before. It felt more private and great for a big group. Definitely recommend for an event or a bigger group that’s not as packed as some are on 32nd street.

Dancing place late night hanging out! If you want to just get drunk or you are already drunk and want to dance, I recommend this place. Only seat at the bar and most ppl just grab the drink and hopping around. I saw someone had a nice birthday party at this place. Even it is a small bar but if you just want to drink and dance this place is cool to hang out with.

It was a blast! 💥 Our vegan hangout team was there for 3 hours that went by so fast. The song selection can be better, I didn’t find the duet from the Phantom. Not sure what the other negative reviews are about, but my experience with karaoke city and their staff has always been great. Ive had a lot of really fun nights here!My friends and I came across Karaoke City last year when we were looking for a good time at 12am and Im so glad we did. Since that night weve been back many times, recommend it to all our friends, and its now the only karaoke place we go to because every time is a BLAST!If you call them, theyll text you to coordinate making a res and weve never had a problem getting one for both large and small groups (though you might have to pass time at the bar if its prime time on a Saturday night). They have a great song selection, easy to use karaoke system, mic covers, comfortable rooms for all different group sizes, drink specials, and the nicest staff for a decent price (definitely cheaper than a lot of other karaoke places in nyc, but check their prices on their website) shout out to Dojin for always showing us a good time 🌟Come drunk, happy, and ready to sing and dance the night away with friends and you will love it 🎶🎤

I know Korean Karaoke is known for private rooms but some of us prefer strangers as our audience- Karaoke City has a main bar and it was great! The drinks were good, especially the Soju, and there are so many songs to choose from. The process was pretty simple, fast, and easy (the bartenders were great and got it done!). The best part are the people who come to do karaoke like to have fun, making the place even better. I would definitely come back.

Good K-town karaoke den. Theres a main bar to meet up at and hang at afterwards, but the main attraction is individual karaoke rooms that you rent by the hour. Their system takes a little to get used to but works fine. No ability to adjust their sound - only volume up and down. They have bar food thats average - thats not what you come for. Theres a buzzer you hit and a waiter will come take drink or food orders. Service is quick - strangely no napkins or paper towels. Also no bathroom toilet paper - maybe their delivery was late. Also strange that there are no coat hooks so on a cold, wet night all of coats seemed to be in the way in the tight, private room for 6 where we had 5.

My go-to karaoke spot! My friends and I frequent this spot ALL the time, as its one of the most reliable places for a consistent karaoke experience. Its a no frills karaoke spot with an industrial type of vibe. Their karaoke system is easy to use with the healsonic app, and the button to call an employee makes catering super easy. My only qualms would be how you have to specify that youd want access to the korean songs, as its a whole ordeal to switch the system over- and some songs just dont work. However, I still love going here as all my experiences have been consistent. If youre going Fri or Sat, you NEED to make a reservation in advance, because slots fill up VERY quickly, and they dont allow minors in after 6pm. Also! Remember you can bring your own food, just not drinks. Itll save you a pretty penny.

I recently hosted my birthday at Karaoke City, and I absolutely loved it! The space is fantastic – there’s plenty of room in the private rooms. The reservation process was easy, and done through text.One thing that really stood out to me was how reasonably priced everything was, especially for being in the city. At just around $16 per person (base price for room) for 2 hours, it’s such a great deal! Even with the 18% gratuity, it wasn’t too bad. The food and drinks were also well-priced.The karaoke system is easy to use – everything is done through your cellphone, which made setting up songs a breeze. The song selection is pretty good, too! I do wish they had more K-pop songs, but I was pleasantly surprised to see newer albums from Chapell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter available.

It was fun. We were taken to our private room immediately and was given a tutorial of the machine. Very simple to use. They are very prompt in responding to your calls for the drinks. Service was great, the staff aren’t the most friendly but you get taken care of. Numerous song selection, a few didn’t play but that didn’t stop us from having a good time. They do remind you when your time is almost up and at the end. Would definitely go again.

NOTE: When we went there were no Korean songs versus a few from BTS and Blackpink do not expect the whole discography. But there were a lot of current and throwback songs in English you definitely know and the price isn’t too bad for four people. The staff are nice and manage well under pressure. I originally was going to give it a bad review but it got better once you get past your own bias and make the most out of it. The couch is pretty comfortable too.

If you want no frills, and just a place to chill with your friends and scream-sing at a tv screen, this is your place.The server kept the drinks flowing and would check on us regularly.There were tons of old songs in the books, and some of the codes we entered gave us different songs. I loooove karaoke city. I make all of my friends come here on even the slightest of occasions. I appreciate that they’re usually available to book same-day reservations, and the one time they couldn’t accommodate me, they recommended me to their sister-bar, and helped me get a reservation there. I’ve never been in a room where any of the technology wasn’t functioning properly, and everyone has been incredibly kind.I don’t think anyone expects these places to be of the utmost cleanliness, right? This place feels industry-standard in that regard, but it’s not bad. All-in-all, I will continue to return again and again!

I like this place so much, the day after I decided to wear a white button up with black tie to work to match the staff! (Modified, of course) this place is great for group outings. I highly suggest booking for more than an hour; the bigger the group, the more hours you should book. That way, everyone gets a turn! They have an abundant library. If youre savvy to music, once opening upon any page would likely make you remember a chorus.They also serve drinks here! 21+ patrons are encouraged to loosen up before performing, haha. Its a good time. We control the volume and the brightness on lighting. They have little covers for the microphone to protect the patrons. In the front, I had seen a sanitizing device as well-similar to a nail salon; this is probably for the microphones. After we left, the staff came in and sanitized the whole room. Its always super clean. Have fun!

I had a great experience here. I arrived a bit early so they let me sit at the bar while they finished opening up. Drinks are reasonably priced. AWESOME song choice compared to other places have visited. 2 books- one organized by song title. One organized by artist. The system itself is easy to use. They do automatically add a gratuity to the bill, but if everyone just tipped when they’re supposed to they probably wouldn’t have to do this lol. The guy was even nice enough to remove the 10 extra minutes I went over time from my bill. Overall worth it and I would go back with a bigger group of friends next time.

Not the most obvious entrance place but once you are in its a great experience. You have to take a lift up which looks like it should be an apartment lift. There seems to be numerous businesses in the buildings like restaurants and table tennis. We had a great night. There seems to be plenty of private rooms for karaoke. 1000s of songs to choose from by either song name or artist name. There is a serving bar. I would definitely go back and recommend.

We have gone to Karaoke City on multiple occasions and we find it the best within K town. The service is prompt and they always work with you to get you in. We have also have had a birthday party in their large connecting room and it’s great to have one room for the adults with the ability to pop into the other room to check on the kids. . Great place for a celebration.

After initially booking a rsvp with “Anytime Karaoke” and getting robbed by the horrible staff that work there, my found and made a rsvp with this place and THANKFULLY they weren’t booked up and managed to sit all 13 of us! They also didn’t force drink packages and secret gratuity fees on us, just good times and singing like we originally planned! Come here and don’t go to Anytime Karaoke, they will rob you of your money and ask u to pay upfront.

Loved this place! Very accommodating, clean, and great variety of songs. It was our first time using the karaoke remote so we struggled a bit at first but the employees were quick to help and continuously checked up on us (also giving us a count down until we had to leave). Be aware this place is NOT BYOB but they have a bar and when I went had a deal for 4 Jaeger shots for $20 So not bad. It is a bring your own FOOD and they had a food menu (on the pricey side). I think it was decently priced $8 per person per hour but I wish it was BYOB. Still recommend it though!!

We stopped at Karaoke City randomly and found a really good place to enjoy the rest of our evening after dinner. We heard from some New York locals that this was a good spot for traditional Korean Karaoke feels, private rooms, newly renovated, and really good pricing for New York City. We were visiting New York City for just one week and needed to end the night with some thing that the locals do. Karaoke City is open until early morning and has a really good price for rooms that are set up to relax, enjoy and have a good time with friends. I would highly recommend Karaoke City for a fun night out and great overall experience. The staff is very friendly and the environment is made for good times.

All you can drink options with karaoke, staff is very quick providing refills.karaoke song options are endless! Had an issue during my last visit there. The staff was not communicating with each other and telling us we could extend our time in the room when we requested that and shortly after insisted we had to leave at the 2 hr mark. My suggestion is dont have three different servers working the room and not telling each other what was approved or not. Otherwise its always a good time!

This is a fun karaoke bar. The bar area has karaoke but the private karaoke rooms are really cool. They have rooms of all different sizes. We were in a smaller room but because more people kept joining us, they moved us to a larger room. It was really cool. There we lots of tvs, comfy seats, and stages. Its a good spot to hangout with friends or host a party. The service was great and they have reasonable drink deals.

Nice service, great ambiance, altho Chinese song selection is very very bare for an Asian karaoke place. This place is mainly geared towards Koreans obviously since its in ktown. But still, kinda bummed about that bc the selection is truly very limited for Asian music. Also the system is all in Korean which is hard for understand the functions pass putting a song through or skipping a song. Prices were also high bc it is in midtown. I still prefer flushing and chinatown for better song selection and more affordability. But the people here are very nice.

Karaoke, akin to what one finds in Asian countries like Korea and Japan. Songs can be chosen from two separate thick books, either by artist or title, and played using corresponding numbers. The song selection was decent but not up-to-date; during our visit in January 2024, it still reflected Spring 2023. Some notable songs from well-known artists were missing. The room temperature was excessively warm and stuffy; we struggled to adjust the air conditioning. A standard tip of 18% was charged, which was quite a bit given that the staff only briefly guided us to our room and explained the system for maybe 30 seconds. Overall, the total price for four people was reasonable.

Service was kinda weird. Front staff and wait staff had poor communication and confused our reservation which was annoying but frankly a minimal issue.You have to have everyone participate in the drink packages which sucks but makes sense. Drink prices were unclear, one soju bottle was 18, a different flavor was 36. Price structure was just odd and waiter said it wasn’t a pitcher.Karaoke was fun, pretty up to date song selection and very easy to search/queue up on your phone. Wide room with plenty of seating and table space. Def the spot to got for karaoke.

Service was immaculate. Those boys hustle the floor and make sure things are going well. I didn’t have the food to comment on it. Open bar/ Hr is a great deal. Our group spent 2HRs drinking and singing. Only trouble we had was that the A/C in our room was not working efficiently but they had a box fan put in place for us.

The security guard on the ground floor of the building gave us trouble because he thought the place opened at four, not one. But once we were settled in our room the actual experience was quite good. The rooms dont look pretty and its a low-tech setup, but for the price its exactly what we wanted.

This place is good with updated systems that you connect your phone to to search songs.We had a reservation for 9 people and the room was a bit tight. It was Saturday night though so the bigger rooms probably went to bigger parties. The bar was super crowded but the room service was really good.If you are looking for international songs theres a separate system you need to ask about.

I love the place, but I gave them 4 stars because I did not like the malfunctioning microphone. My voice was intermittently vanishing while I was singing. So I asked for another mic_but,that one was very low on volume I can hardly hear my voice or my friends voice!🤦Overall, this is the only place I know in Korean Town in Manhattan that has an open karaoke by the bar. They also have private rooms. But, I love open space😘Anyone who wants to have a karaoke night with a friend/friends who does not want a private room, this place, is the #1 place in Korean Town❤️🎶🎵🎼Pardon, I dont have pictures to show----I totally forgot taken a pic! I became busy in thinking what song to sing and very busy from singing 😊 And dancing, too, whenever another patron sings a dance song ❤️
