This place can be a bit hit or miss, but when it hits, it really hits. Some nights are a bit low energy and you feel like leaving after a few minutes. But other nights have been insanely fun. Theres no cover charge, and only $2 to put in a song request, so its definitely worth popping in to see if the vibe is good that night.

Missy and the Planet Rose team were the best hosts for our karaoke event! Atmosphere is amazing for karaoke- we had folks hanging at the bar with the regulars singing, some in the back room. And others on the main stage. Thank you for amazing night- we will be back next year!

Always a good time. Everyone is welcome, and the crew is great.If you read Planet Rose Atlantic City like Simply Mz Kira wrote, its not even in the same state, so a few reviewers like that may have had a few too many if they leave a review for a place in NYC based on AC.Theres no skipping the line by paying extra on songs at NYCs Planet Rose.

Out of all the places I went to in New York during summer 2024, this is easily the most memorable one. The decoration may be unassuming and the space may be a bit tinier than you expect, but the Karaoke vibe overall is immaculate. The Karaoke sign up system is also interestingly old fashioned. A lovely place overall.

A very relaxed and cool atmosphere for all of us to sing. Its a good Karaoke bar.. the people their are helpful. It opens in evening by 4 and goes into late night/early mornings.

The karaoke selection is broader than I expected but not as much as I hoped. The bar has a reasonable selection of drinks and I got a few screwdrivers. Its a cool vibe.

Good vibes and good drinks all around. But please keep in mind one thing before you give your hopes up: their healsonic app does not have any songs that are code 12700 or above, nor do they have any other language track except English. If youre alright with that, youre gonna have a good time here

First off, Johnny the bartender here is amazing! Secondly, as an avid karaoke lover, Im always on the hunt for fun bars where I can belt my heart out, and this bar is a great EV find! Just off 14th street, once entering Planet Rose youll find yourself immersed in a zebra print,neon lit world of good times! The song selection is great, the drinks well priced, and as mentioned above, the staff is great, and also finds time to join in on the singing festivities as well! Fun place to go with a group. Not too crowded most nights which is a major plus!

Another great night at the best karaoke bar in Manhattan! Owned and run by native New Yorkers, visitors love it, New Yorkers love it. Dont forget to download the app (KJ Touch) before you get there to plan your song list, the queue can get LONG!

Had an AWESOME night at Planet Rose on Tuesday. Had a bit too much fun on a work night but it was totally worth it - great decor, great bartenders (shoutout to Felix and Tanya!!) great vibes. Really reasonably priced drinks, good song selection, mics that worked well and a good system for putting in songs. The bartenders even sanitized the mics between every song which I really appreciated. I wish I lived closer so I could become a regular! Whenever Im in the city I know where Ill want to go for karaoke.

They get some talent in this karaoke bar! The drinks are good and well drinks are totally affordable. Theres a side room that you can reserve which is slightly quieter than the bar itself, but its first come first serve so no guarantees. Id give them five stars but the mics stutter on and off too much.

If youre super into karaoke, this is the best spot to go. Happy hour is fantastic, there are books and pencils and post it notes abound, and the music and mics are always loud enough to keep the energy high. Youll run into a ton of surprisingly good singers, but its equally fun for all, especially since you can walk around performing when you sing, or just sit at a bar stool and blend in with the crowd if you dont want the attention. And all of the staff is friendly and down to earth.The only problem with this place is you never want to leave, and then you get wasted. Not too bad of a problem though.
