    Amazing experience. The staff could not have been better, my server Brendan was one of the friendliest servers i’ve ever had. The bartender Hannah and Callum were extremely friendly too. Hannah made a great marg!! Will recommend to our friends and we will be back!

    Sky bar on the 18th floor right by the pool. Killer views. Good drinks. Decent food. Very nice to sit outside on a nice day. Try the espresso martini.

    We are staying at the hotel but guests can also visit. Bar and lounge right next to pool. Food is slow to come so order early. Pool is small but its clean and clear. So refreshing on a summer day!! But the view gives it the 5 stars.

    I initially came to this place for the rooftop view, but was blown away by the food. It was absolutely exquisite; the chef must have Michelin-level experience. A must-visit for both the atmosphere and the culinary delights.Marouli Salad with Salmon and Blistered Shishitos are must-tries.It might be a little difficult to find the entrance, but you won’t regret to visit this place.

    Awesome drinks with a great atmosphere. Bartenders actually made me my favorite drink not on the menu so the service is incredible. Great spot

    I’m a sucker for a good rooftop bar in the city on a warm summer day. The Penthouse was honestly really great! We had the shishito peppers, watermelon skewers, and pepperoni flatbread were awesome. Drinks wise, the awkwardly named “Pornstar” was astoundingly delicious and packed with passion fruit purée. Loved the views from the very comfy rooftop at sunset, as well as the calm chill ambiance very conducive to actually having a conversation. Great for a girl’s evening out. Will be back!

    Very upscale environment. Enjoyed the rooftop as part of my stay. Enjoyed a smash burger & the crispy fries with secret sauce, as well as tequila cocktail. Visited on a Sunday evening around 5:30pm not crowded at all great service.

    If you want to gather together with a group of friends or family in a comfortable and cool setting, check out this restaurant. The decor is welcoming, there are a lot of different spaces to hang out in, and the service is top notch. A big shoutout to Roberto Sanabria, area operations manager. He is extremely professional and made sure we had everything we needed.

    All the other reviews are pretty accurate. You don’t wait to be seated, there wasn’t really a waiter, and the food menu is pretty limited…but I think that’s kinda the point. It would be good if they explained that a bit better online but we found them through a third party so that’s probably why.After waiting for a bit the bartender came up to us and let us know we could come order whenever. So the idea is you seat yourself, decide what you want, then go to the bar to order. We paid when we ordered. You can also open a tab if you’d like.The atmosphere is very relaxed. We went for a late lunch on our second day in the city so the vibes were very welcome since we were all pretty tired. You might want to dress nice if you are going for dinner but. It was a last minute find so I was only wearing bike shorts, a t-shirt, and sneakers. I felt a little underdressed but I didn’t feel judged for it. It seemed like nobody really cared how I was dressed. There were many different seating choices including seating outside. We settled on a couple super comfy couches inside.The food was absolutely amazing. It wasn’t a whole lot of food but the quality was top notch. If it wasn’t as good as it was I would’ve been pretty unhappy with the small quantity. We got the smash burger and tacos. The tacos came with 3 and they were pretty small but full of flavor. The smash burger was a good size and so so good!! It didn’t come with any sides though.Overall if you are wanting a laid back experience I’d definitely recommend this place.

    This rooftop bar is lovely, plenty of seating options. Comfy couches, indoor bar area, an outdoor pool deck and window side tables. I found reservations on Open table and decided to check it out. Its newly opened or perhaps reopened bar. I had a wonderful experience, the concierge was delightful. My waitress Stephanie was attentive and friendly. The menu has a good selection with reasonable prices they had several vegetarian options. I didnt get a chance to try a drink as the bartender didnt start until later in the day. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the beyond beef nachos, they are super tasty.

    Cozy …. I would use this adjectiveIt’s the place you can do all the business talks because it’s not so loud so you can understand everything the other person is saying to you!!!! - which is amazing (isn’t it ?) but then there are some slight aspects you could work onPlease train your staff properly they cannot keep up- they are young (and beautiful;) as we all are ) amazing and they will will be doing just great in the future 🤩🤩🤩 I’m sure of it 🫡Also keep it neat 🫣It’s great place and I would recommend it to my friend but still … there some things you could work on 👍 😍🤩 the place is still amazing 😻Cannot say anything about the food because I didn’t order anything 🤭…. I just came for a drinks 🥤

    Great rooftop, part of the hotel but has its own entrance. We came here for mid day drinks on our trip to kill some time before our next stop on the itinerary and it was perfectly chill vibes. Sweet views & next to the pool with some good drinks and small bites. We had the tacos (which are tiny but so good) & tuna tartare overall Id say 10/10 and Id definitely come back here!- insta @ SpicyAivy

    This Place is amazing! Ive never been to such a nice Hotel! The staff are super nice and always there to help! I have never had my car parked or my luggage carried to my room until now and that was great! The rooftop bar and pool are unbelievably gorgeous with the most beautiful views!

    A true gem in midtown manhattan 29th/park. First class welcome, checkin, concierge and rooftop staff/service. The vibe, bar and rooftop pool area are worth the stay. As a very frequent nyc traveler, the biggest positive surprise was the room size, ceiling height and definitely bathroom size, dual sink/counter space and walk through tub and separate shower...all in a king bedroom selection.Really nice rooftop breakfast and weekend brunch restaurant with inside and outside seating. My best compliment is that i hate sharing this info...so i can reduce risk of sold out dates for our next visit 😀

    We had a great time here with our group of about 20 people. Ron, the manager, was very accommodating. We were not restricted to having bottle service or putting down a minimum. We just told them we wanted to come eat and drink and they were fine with it. Beers are $8 and drinks start at $16. Its a very cool swanky spot where you can walk out onto the outdoor balcony to see Park Avenue South and the Empire State building. Please remind your friends and Uber driver to look for Royalton Park Avenue SOUTH and not the one in Midtown. This used to be the Gansevoort Hotel on Park Avenue South, not to be confused with the one in the meatpacking district.SEE YOU AGAIN SOON!

    Most amazing rooftop experience. Incredible place to people watch, but the real joy is the service. The staff is incredible. Remembers your name, and so thoughtful. But the real gem is Matthew. He not only recommended the best local places, but gave us the best stories. There is no doubt he will be an incredible producer one day. I not only feel fulfilled, but excited about our adventure in the city because of Matt.

    Came for a drink during the week, and was blown away by the views, food, drinks, and most importantly, service. The bartender Ari was funny and quick, and had great recommendations for food and drink. It is on my way home from class and I am going to have a hard time not coming by every day!

    A lovely hotel rooftop pool and bar. The food was delicious, and mocktails and wine were good, but coffee and tea were a letdown. Overall, its pricey. But if you dont mind paying, its a nice place to chill with friends or family.

    Nice lounge on a high floor of the Royalton hotel. Great views of the city and a small balcony space as well. Cocktails are good with some specials on the menu. I would recommend the paper plane.     Great spot for a break in the middle of the day for a drink and a light snack. Theres plenty of seating, even small tables directly out on balconys that run the north and east sides of the building.Ashtrays were provided so if you are one of those few people still smoking, you can enjoy the fresh air as well as your favorite smoke.There were plenty of happy-hour specials so could also be a great after-work spot, just 12 blocks south of grand central.Prices were reasonable. Service was top notch and not intrusive. I had left my phone outside on a table and a manager spotted it and quickly secured it, I had it back in 10 minutes, what a relief.
