Gotta love your friendly, morning coffee shop. Matto, checks all the boxes in terms of a solid, local destination. Good coffee, nice space, tasty selection of morning treats and what we find most important, friendly staff.Gia (not sure if that’s how he spells his name) always greets us with a smile and remembers our order. We are grateful patrons and wanted to tell them thank you and we appreciate you 🙏🏻☕️ Oh and our Ewok, Luna is welcome too 🐶

Nice shop. They have a new oatmeal, chia cup and you can choose milk or water which they steam or put in the cup for you. Matcha latte was good too. Nice spot to sit and catch up with friends or take a break.

This is the best coffee place in NYC. The coffee has a good flavor, not burnt. Very polite and nice staff and visitors! I love it! This is my favorite place

Excellent snacks, coffee and other drinks. The hot chocolate is so thick, you almost need to add more milk to it. Kenny behind the counter is quick and very friendly (in order to make a banana latte, he ran across the street in an instant to buy some bananas from a produce cart). Definitely a better choice than the national-chain neighbor next door.

Staff are attentive and very friendly. Excellent cold brew, espresso and iced americano based on my experience. Prices can’t be beat even if it went up 50 cents due to the crazy inflation everywhere- still much cheaper than Bucks next door.

Great opening this week! Ukrainian barista is charming, polite, and efficient. This location in midtown will definitely be in our frequent routes! Lattes at $2, everything at $2 when you order online. Great choices of to go for items like bureka, muffins, cookies, loaf, etc.
