    How can you beat amazing coffee and a generously sized almond croissant for less than $7 total? Add quick morning service and it makes this place unrivaled in midtown. Cant boast a super cosy vibe but it has a couple of tables and a counter top, so you can stay for a quick breakfast vibe.

    Love Matto! Where else can you get coffee or a drink for $3. Don’t forget to order on the app or the price will be a little higher. Great choices of coffee , latte, smoothies and teas. Need a snack… add a pastry or cookie. Best deal in town and everything is good. Love the fact you can order in advance and it’s waiting for you upon arrival.

    2 dollars for everything cant beat it. All of the food is premade but very good and fresh. The lattes taste good. The employees are very nice and welcoming. I come here almost everyday. They use La Colombe coffee not some cheap brandless stuff. Try this place out you wont be disappointed. Minimum for credit card is $4 so normally you need to buy 2 items unless paying cash.

    This is an amazing place to have a lovely coffee and grab some delicious food to eat. There is a variety of salty and sweet food. I especially recommend the Fetta Cheese Bureka, it is crunchy, full of cheese and reminds me of home.The service always comes with a great smile and a genuine effort to help and give the best service to the customer.Definitely worth while a visit.

    Franz is the best! I have been coming here for many months because I work closeby and his service is always top tier and he even goes the extra mile and does the milk/leaf pouring technique (none of the other employees do). He is a pleasure to deal with and adds amazing value to your store just based off of his amazing customer service. Thank you always!!!!

    Wow I really do love this place. The pastries are fantastic, I love the blueberry muffins and scones.The coffee is above average, its nothing crazy. BUT, for the price you pay, you can get much worse for the same price somewhere else. But why the hell would you get a regular coffee when they make a perfect latte for the same price

    Everything in the store is $2! Amazing for a cafe anywhere in NY, much more amazing for a cafe in the heart of NYC!The pastries are generously sized. I purchased the apple crumb, raisin and nut bar, strawberry rhubarb, apple and almond bar, baklava, potato-stuffed puff pastry and almond croissant. They were all delicious. They also have pre-made sandwiches. I got the omelette croissant sandwich. Their raspberry iced tea was very refreshing.Staff is very friendly and accomodating.

    A wonderful place to get coffee. Lots of pastry options and very good coffee for the price.Everything actually is $2. They have crafted espresso drinks like cappuccinos and lattes. They also have iced drinks and refrigerated drinks to go like iced tea and orange juice.Their pastries can be warmed - both sweet and savory are available. Id highly recommend the cheese bureka warmed up - its flaky and very good.They have a bathroom and accept credit card.

Customer service received was mediocre and loses a star but so affordable and ok quality, great locations so pretty happy. Was out of chai for chai latte (they put in smaller cups) so left. First visit was perhaps a new Asian girl and all I wanted to know was what was popular, but she made it unpleasant with her reaction and in the end said everything was good. Thats not an answer and dont be in customer service if you cannot smile and serve customers :). Would go back again just for the price and location. This chocolate covered slice of pasty below was melty and hard to eat. The spinach pastry seemed fresh enough but not my thing. Willing to try other items.

    Tiny place serving up intensely flavored coffee drinks, the sort you should probably drink black to appreciate the complexities. I got the iced coffee and liked its caramel notes, my husband got the hot Americano and also liked it -- similar to standard drip but with actual flavor. Theyve got some terrific looking fresh pastries, the almond croissants were flying out the door when I was there.

    I am a regular along with my coworkers of the 46th street location. I am always satisfied with the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. On Saturday May 27th, 2023 I was overwhelmed by the professionalism of the worker on duty during the morning shift. My supervisor had gotten a large order and after we had eaten he realized he could not locate his phone. We searched our office with no luck. My supervisor proceeded to backtrack and check locations of where he had gone prior to realizing he had misplaced his phone. When he checked at Matto on 46th he was greeted by the same person who had filled his order earlier. He asked her if she had found a phone and she had and secured it on the side away from anyone finding it and possibly removing it. Her actions saved the day! We would like to thank her and let management know that they have a wonderful employee at 46th.

    Perfect for breakfast and lunch, everything is 2$ and is actually good!! The almond chai latte tastes great and my friend said the coffee was really good tu for the US standard. Great quality, I really liked the quinoa, the smoothie and the brioche with the omelette. I also tried the pistachio muffin and the almond croissant..both big and amazing. It’s the place you want to know in Manhattan, cozy, with nice tables and free WiFi..like Starbucks but with more choice and less expansive. We were so in love with this place that we did all our breakfast here. The only thing is the later you go the less things there are!
