Will definitely be going back.My night started with the host, Ben, going the extra mile to ensure that we got our seats with the kitchen view at our reservation time. There was some sort of hiccup that he cleared up and we were seated within >5 minutes of arriving. We had two waitresses as there was a shift change mid meal and our first server, Luisa(I believe was her name) was amazing. She swiftly, but informatively welcomed us, gave info on the menu, and had us excited for dinner. The food, AMAZING. Don’t miss out on the pan con tomate y Jamon, escalivada, paella, mushroom croquetas, or drink menu! The sangrias were perfect. We went with the boqueria experience option on the chefs menu and it was worth it. Don’t miss out!

We just celebrated our anniversary dinner and we had an amazing time. We sat at the Chef table and had the Boqueria experience for dinner. Our server Nathan was great and curated a perfect dinner. We also enjoyed the interaction with the kitchen staff. Highly recommend.

Had an absolutely incredible brunch experience at Boqueria in New York. The brunch feast was exquisite, with so many delicious flavors, fresh ingredients and textures, paired with a few perfectly chosen drinks. Our lovely sever, Karla, makes us feel right at home and ensured we had the most enjoyable time, we were so happy to meet her again. Our favorite spot in the city. I can highly recommend this place for an amazing dining experience in New York, Boqueria is a must-visit!

  • Review 4 (2024-09-29 - Rating: 5)

Nathans Service is unmatched! Very quick and attentive. I highly recommend the following the summer gin and tonic, beach please and Pomelo for drinks. For food id recommend to startthe Croquetas de setas, patatas bravas, Bruselas con naranja, lamb skewers, the coca de setas and Goat cheese. Then followed the Gambas al ajillo, the paella and the pollo rustido.for desert the Crème brûlée and Raspberry sorbet were marvellous. Overall its worth the crosstown trip from the east village and Ill be back very soon!

  • Review 5 (2024-08-03 - Rating: 4)

The food is good, but not outstanding tapas. The premium iberico is especially cut too thick and doesnt taste premium. Great service by Camilo, who kept checking in and was very friendly. The vibe is nice, but gets really loud.

  • Review 6 (2023-07-18 - Rating: 4)

Fun place to grab dinner with a group. We ordered “the classics,” which is a tapas tasting menu. It was more food than we could finish and we enjoyed all the dishes. The paella in particular was very good. I wish they gave us more croquettes however. Service friendly but not very attentive.

  • Review 7 (2024-07-13 - Rating: 5)

Me and my mother had a great experience at Boqueria! We went to see a show at Madison Square Garden (Enrique Bunbury) and since we were going to see a Spanish singer, we decided to have a Spanish pre-show dinner! We had the Boqueria Experience and it was really delicious! Different courses that included, paella, Albóndigas (meatballs) well cooked asparagus, 36 month old aged ham and so many other dishes topped off with Churros for dessert. The establishment was completely full but our food was served in a timely manner and made it to the show right on time! I highly recommend coming here!

  • Review 8 (2024-12-30 - Rating: 4)

Fun place to come and drink and light tapas. Drinks were good service was good. Food comes out delicious. And extremely decent price for this part of the city. Doesn’t feel like a tourist trap, rather a place for locals.

I dined here in 2022 when I visited New York the first time.... it was SO good, and the service was top-notch.We just returned to NYC due to a 2 day flight delay en route to our honeymoon. With time in NYC, I knew I wanted to go back here. Once again, I was blown away with the fantastic food and service. Both times, the servers were very friendly and knowledgeable, and the food came quickly. They made our night special, knowing it was the start of our honeymoon. Thank you to the wonderful staff for this beautiful gesture on what has been a very long travel saga!

  • Review 10 (2024-11-07 - Rating: 5)

We needed a late night meal, was on PST, just flew in and the hotel recommend this restaurant. It was perfect, good drinks, good food, a bit noisy, but it is NYC after all. I would go back again. Jacob was our server and he took care of us. He could tell we were beat and just arrived in town. Very grateful for his advice on food and drinks.

  • Review 11 (2024-10-16 - Rating: 4)

We went here before a show on a Sunday night. It was quite busy but our server took great care of us, was attentive and fun, and checked in and sped things up to make sure we would be on time for our show. The food was really good. Highly recommend themushroom potato croquettes and the brusselsprouts! but skip the appetizer bread with tomato sauce, it was a total dud. My margarita was on point - they made it spicy on my request and got it just right!

  • Review 12 (2023-08-11 - Rating: 5)

Amazing dinner!!The Boqueria Experience from the Chef’s Menu was 👌👌👌!All of the tapas we had were good; definitely would go back!Bacon wrapped dates, steak, paella, eggplant yogurt dish, all so good.

  • Review 13 (2022-12-25 - Rating: 5)

We came here for dinner and absolutely loved our experience! The food is impeccable, the service is quick and attentive, and the ambience is cozy. We ordered the escalivada, pintxos morunos, pulpo a la plancha, croquetas de setas, ensalada mixta, paella de mariscos, and churros clásicos con dulce de leche. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the price was reasonable. We would recommend all the dishes we ordered, and we will definitely be back!

  • Review 14 (2023-06-27 - Rating: 4)

There was a hair in the bravas we ordered but the server was very nice and bumped it off the check and gave us complementary churros, which were good but just good, the fideua was the best thing I’ve ever tasted sooo worth it although the portion was pretty small, the paella was so good! You have to get it!. The sangria blanca was strong enough, definitely coming back!.

  • Review 15 (2024-01-25 - Rating: 5)

Youre only a few yards from the Port Authority Bus Terminal yet youll feel transported to Barcelona! Every classic tapas dish is on offer, tasty cocktails, the favorite Spanish wines. Your servers are your tour guides, gladly take their recommendations. The energetic space was well populated on a rainy Wednesday evening. Our OpenTable reservation was honored without delay. The table provided was perfect! We never felt rushed. We left very satisfied.

  • Review 16 (2024-04-17 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 17 (2023-02-24 - Rating: 5)

Great experience. We had the pleasure to meet Carlos our waiter, hes just fantastic. He helped us to choose from the menu and every single recommendation was top notch. We ordered the menu per group for 6, it is absolutely delicious here and I highly recommend. Paella and churros my top 🔝

  • Review 18 (2024-11-18 - Rating: 5)

Very pleasantly surprised when I happened to try this place for a work lunch. Service was very friendly and fast. Food was really very good - all our tapas were tasty and well balanced. Would certainly visit again

  • Review 19 (2024-01-31 - Rating: 5)

We came on a Saturday around 5:30pm before a Broadway show, but Boqueria was already booked out through 8pm. Counter service is first come, first served, and we were lucky enough that another couple was already on their way out. We got tapas — the pre-theater menu has meat and fish options, but they told us that all tapas come out at the same speed, so we could make our own pre-theater menu by ordering five vegetarian tapas. Everything came out quickly and tasted delicious. This is a great option for real New Yorkers who want to get decent pre-theater food without the regular Times Square atmosphere.

  • Review 20 (2023-05-30 - Rating: 5)

The food was great! Took my wife here to celebrate our anniversary. Each dish was a nice portion and flavorful. Drinks were good as well. Service was great. The abience was nice, clean and relaxing. Will definetely be coming back again. The food was worth the money.

  • Review 21 (2022-03-21 - Rating: 4)

This restaurant located on the ground floor of AC hotel, the inside is quite nice with comfortable seating. Outdoor is not the best for winter because it’s not completely sealed it gets cold on windy days. Make sure to make reservation in advance, it does get busy quickly. The food are all really delicious, the farmers breakfast from brunch menu does get a bit salty on the steak and chorizo. The tapas portion are small and pricy. In general all the tapas are on a pricy side. The service on the other side is really good, if you want to order paella make sure to order early so you can eat with your group at the same time, it takes 45mins

  • Review 22 (2024-07-27 - Rating: 5)

Had an excellent dinner. The food selection, quality, and taste were fantastic. Our server, Jacob, took good care of our table.

  • Review 23 (2023-01-20 - Rating: 5)

Not everyone was happy with their plates....but the Manager Salomon, I think his name was , rectified in the bill and offered churros on the house, but we were too full to eat. He even offered for us to come back later after we walked it off bit. Now that is great service, initially with the wait staff there was bit of back and forth about what was missing from the ordered dish, but it was fixed. Will definitely go back next time I get a chance.

  • Review 24 (2018-12-01 - Rating: 5)

Similar to another reviewer, my wife and I popped in without a reservation and got one of the best seats in the house facing the kitchen!Walking through the restaurant, you could feel how good the energy is in this place. Our server, Marcelo, was outstanding. From the moment we sat down, we felt welcomed and he gave some excellent recommendations. We ordered a paella which was definitely worth the 45min wait! We also had some incredible appetizers and drinks while the delicious paella was being prepared. We would highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back!

  • Review 25 (2022-05-25 - Rating: 5)

Superb service. Cassidy was such a delight and really made us comfortable after a mishap. The food was so flavorful and fresh. Drinks were delicious. Such a great vibe. Will definitely be back!

  • Review 26 (2023-08-13 - Rating: 4)

We picked boqueria W40th as a place to try and thread a needle of a place with good food, quick service, and near enough to catch our Broadway show. We were warmly greeted and quickly sat down. We arrived right at 5 and we wanted to be out by 630 to catch our show at 7. Happy hour was ONLY at the bar which was kind of frustrating because from my booth k could reach out and touch a bar stool and I paid way more for the same food. Food came out super fast which is good Cuz we had some trouble getting our server to our table a few times. Overall we feel we nailed our plan of good quick food for a reasonable price and we made our play with time to spare.

  • Review 27 (2022-06-26 - Rating: 5)

I love and seek out many Jose Andres restaurants. After recently experiencing Bazar Meats in Las Vegas I was excited to try Boqueria in Manhattan near Times Square while traveling there for a work convention. Bonus - NYC was celebrating Tapas week so this choice was perfect.I dined there alone and the bar and made friends with the staff and patrons surprisingly quickly! It was a wonderful experience. I would usually dine here with a bigger group so we could each try a variety of different items. The solution for one is definitely the top line chef’s tasting menu! It was &65, featured “black pig” you may have eaten in Portugal or Spain and it’s amazing - worth every penny. So much food arrived that I could not possibly eat it all.The other favorites were the perfectly crisp potatoes, magical shrimp dish, & that ridiculously wonderful hot chocolate dipping sauce for the churros - I’m obsessed! The spicy shishito margarita was also delicious!

  • Review 28 (2024-03-03 - Rating: 5)

Stopped by every day for a quick pre-show dinner or brunch as I’m an in-house guest. Love the vibes, upbeat music and good tapas selection. Go for the gambas- you won’t regret! Shout out to server Alex - fantastic can-do attitude and efficient service with a smile 😊 He made me a nice flat white too!

  • Review 29 (2022-07-17 - Rating: 5)

Most foods have sour tasty. I love it. They are not so greesy in spite of gambas. And the lamb meetball is not usual. It has no fishy tasty, not that so much salty and also has a good texture.

  • Review 30 (2023-06-06 - Rating: 5)

Went there for our Anniversary, nice atmosphere. Nice tapas place its inside the AC Marriott Hotel. Food was delicious, and it was prepared quickly, will definitely return.

  • Review 31 (2024-12-08 - Rating: 5)

Had a great lunch here! Service, food and ambiance was great. Enjoyed their sangria and tapas and charcuterie board. Their churros was amazing too. Happy to recommend.

  • Review 32 (2022-10-09 - Rating: 5)

I visited on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant wasn’t too busy so the service was really good. They have a wide variety of tapa options. The octopus dish is just amazing. The size is not particularly big.

  • Review 33 (2022-06-26 - Rating: 4)

Food is good but quantity for the price is severely lacking. We got a few tapas including the patatas bravas (fried potatoes with an aioli), escalivada (eggplant and yogurt dip served with crispy bread), and an arugula salad. The potatoes were excellent, perfectly fried and drizzled with such a tasty aioli. The eggplant was soft and lightly seasoned, allowing the veggies to shine and give a rustic flavor. The arugula salad with raw fennel and Asian pears was nice, crisp, and refreshing. Never had raw fennel before and that flavor is wonderful.Few drinks as well (couple draft lagers and a mixed vodka drink).Overall good food, just wish the quantities were a little more!

  • Review 34 (2022-01-13 - Rating: 4)

This place is pretty good. The dishes are kind of hit or miss— some are really outstanding and some are just not great. Its a bit on the pricier end but has a nice location and beautiful interior.

  • Review 35 (2022-08-30 - Rating: 5)

Good patio but I recommend you to sit inside especially at the bar. Patatas bravas was great. Escalivada was delicious but way too salty, I’d order one more if it wasn’t! Pinxtos morunos was AMAZING. Lamb was cooked perfect and the salsa verde was on point! Croquetas de Jamon was on point but I would expect more quince purée for sure, I was barely tasting it. For the Paella we order small. If you order 4 tapas and planning to eating dessert at the end small would be fine. Paella was delicious and a lot of fresh seafood on top but some parts were burnt. I know it should be a little overcooked and crispy but these parts were charcoaled. Churros with dulce de leche was perfect! We also got a pitcher of sangria. Overall great experience. A bit pricey but definitely worth it. Lastly, Carlos was amazing and superb guy. Explained everything and suggested some good food💯

  • Review 36 (2021-03-28 - Rating: 5)

The look of this place calls you in from the street. We did not have a reservation and were still able to get a table outside right away on a Saturday night. Having never been here before, we were a little weary of what to try on the menu. We were not disappointed! The food was fantastic, the waiter was friendly and the atmosphere was adorable

  • Review 37 (2024-12-11 - Rating: 4)

The food was good but the place was sooo tight. They literally put tables next to each other and when you’re only two people it’s so hard to go around the table. It felt very tight and not comfortable. Other than that it was great.

  • Review 38 (2022-07-31 - Rating: 5)

Ill start off by saying that I usually avoid anything remotely close to Time Square as it usually overpriced, touristy and not high quality. Boqueria 40th proved me wrong! Came for brunch. Everything was great. We had tapas upon tapas and I still got a full meal. I tried to taste test as much as I could. Delicious cocktails. The jalapeño margarita was top notch. Nice atmosphere. Good service. And not super expensive. Highly recommended!

  • Review 39 (2024-12-05 - Rating: 5)

Favorite restaurant near Times Square. Their happy hour is amazing!!! Must go!! Fabulous tapas and drinks! Will always be my go to!

  • Review 40 (2022-01-25 - Rating: 4)

Compared to the one in Soho, this place felt more modern and brighter. I was worried before because some people wrote about it being too loud, but it was just as loud as other restaurants in town. Its located next to the lobby of the hotel. Two of us ordered cheese and cured ham plate, octopus, and a pitcher of sangria. They were all really good although I thought sangria wasnt as good as Soho one.

  • Review 41 (2022-02-11 - Rating: 4)

Tapas were mediocre at best honestly. 4 stars for the service since they accommodated a group of 20 last minute. Cocktails were decent. Best dish was the chicken.

  • Review 42 (2024-09-30 - Rating: 5)

Top class restaurant with top class food and service. Very elegant and classy, yet delicious food with excellent quantity. The drink options are great 👍

  • Review 43 (2024-08-26 - Rating: 4)

Came here on a Sunday and the waiter informed me that happy hour was ending and politely waited to get my order in. Really appreciate the effort to inform customers. Service was top notch. Tapas are pretty solid albeit a bit on the pricier side.Dog friendly outdoors.

  • Review 44 (2022-12-16 - Rating: 5)

Beautifully decorated interior with delicious food and attentive servers. We ordered patatas bravas, a medium sized seafood paella, tortilla española platter, octopus, and a Catalan steak platter. For 4 people, it was more than enough and left us very satisfied. The patatas bravas were the best I’ve had outside of Barcelona. The potatoes were crispy yet fluffy and came with a drizzle of mayo and some kind of red sauce (similar to ketchup). The seafood paella was also the best I’ve had outside of Spain. The grains were fluffy but had delectable crispy bits and were infused with seafood flavor. If you like seafood, this is a must get (but order it as soon as you can because there is a 40 min cook time)! The tortilla was very good and came with pan con tomate. The tortilla (which is similar to a quiche) was moist and the bread had a satisfying crunch. The octopus dish was lemony and tender and if you like octopus, I’d recommend this dish. The Catalan platter had a little bit of everything and everything on the platter was amazing. The little bit of steak, egg, more bread with tomato, chorizo, and peppers were great. We also got the manzana non-alcoholic drink which was flavorful but I wouldn’t get it again.

  • Review 45 (2023-06-16 - Rating: 5)

Amazing food, wine, and service. The dishes we had were executed perfectly and our servers directed us to the best wine pairings. Great experience!

  • Review 46 (2024-09-10 - Rating: 5)

Delicious my favorite was the Serrano ham, the crispy Brussels sprouts, bacon wrapped dates, and paella. The wait staff could not have been more attentive and we even met Sam the manager who made sure we had a great experience

  • Review 47 (2022-01-10 - Rating: 5)

Very good food and superb service. A great selection of tapas and wines to choose from, all in a very chic and elegant atmosphere. Price to quality ratio is good. Will definitely be back!

  • Review 48 (2023-03-03 - Rating: 5)

Consistently good!Food; authentic, delicious, pretty. Great wine and beer. Perfect bar if youre looking for company. Warm and cosy vibe.4 stars? Turn the music down just a little bit please.

  • Review 49 (2018-09-21 - Rating: 4)

The signature flavor of Spanish cuisine is its mixture of sweet and savory. The bacon wrapped dates tapas and roasted pork with peach are very much the representation of such unique mixture. The taste is definitely natural to many, but one can experience the exquisite taste by slowly grind through the meat. The crispy potato tapas was a very nice delight where the outer layer was fried just right so that the inside was very soft, also hidden on the bottom of the plate was a hint of chili pepper powder which resembles Sichuan cuisine. Overall, a very nice Spanish tapas restaurant situated just outside of Times Square.

  • Review 50 (2020-11-09 - Rating: 4)

Great place and the food was really really good! They have all the precautions for the pandemic, the servers are polite and give you recommendations if you are not sure about what to order. The place is really well located and you can have a sit inside or outside.

  • Review 51 (2024-12-20 - Rating: 4)

Food is just ok…vibes are impeccable. Great, lively place to meet up with friends, coworkers, or go on a date. I’ve had better Spanish food in my life though. It felt overly oily - and the paella was a bit undercooked for my liking. That being said, nothing was too bad.

  • Review 52 (2020-08-26 - Rating: 5)

Love this place! I especially love coming here for brunch! They offer the best brunch deal, pre-fix menu for $45 per person, and let me tell you... it is totally worth it.You walk out of there completely full because although they’re small bites, the food keeps on coming and coming throughout your entire sitting. On top of that, there is an unlimited brunch drinks included with that price for 2 hours, and they do keep them going (not like many places where they delay themselves in getting you your unlimited drinks). We didn’t expect for them to make a grand scene for desert but they did this for everyone, a bit extra but appreciated touch and gesture. It’s always best to make a reservation because this place is always full, especially after office hours, impossible to get in.

  • Review 53 (2022-09-15 - Rating: 5)

Nice dining indoor area, great food, and friendly service! Boqueria has never let me down ☺️🙌🏼Two of us ordered three savory tapas and a dessert and felt very fulfilling.TORTILLA ESPAÑOLA - Traditional Spanish omelet of organic eggs, confit potatoes. It’s kinda like a cold appetizer.ALMEJAS EN SALSA VERDE - Manila clams, garlic and parsley sauce, fresh herbs, grilled country bread. The parsley sauce with lemon was so flavorful. For me clams were a bit overcooked though.PULPO A LA PLANCHA - Seared octopus, Manzanilla olivada, olive oil crushed potatoes. A must must must order! Octopus was cooked perfectly. So tender. Mashed potatoes were creamy and buttery. Love it!CHURROS CON CHOCOLATE - Traditional fried dough dusted with cinnamon sugar served with thick hot chocolate. I just cannot say no to desserts. Freshly fried crispy churros ended the dinner well.

  • Review 54 (2024-10-12 - Rating: 5)

We had an amazing night! The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was very New York. Will definitely come again when I have time to order the paella.

  • Review 55 (2024-07-15 - Rating: 5)

My boyfriend and I stayed at the AC hotel and the previous night we went to the Castell rooftop and had horrible service so we were skeptical about going to Boqueria. Ill tell you what a night and day experience. We sat at the bar and Milton was our server/bartender. I cant express enough how genuine, charismatic and professional he was. He made our last night there the most amazing night. He was very knowledgeable about the menu, gave us great tips on what to order and the drinks were amazing. We loved the experience and the service provided. My next visit to NYC I will definitely stop by again. Thanks Milton. Keep up the amazing job.

  • Review 56 (2019-03-25 - Rating: 5)

Glad we had reservations for 4 on a Friday night. This place is packed. We all got the $60 seasonal tasting menu at the bottom of the menu. It was absolutely fantastic. Just as we were starting to get full, they brought out the paella. Thinking we were done, out came the steak and chorizo with fries platter. Unbelievable. This was some of the best and most reasonably priced food we ate in NYC all weekend. Thanks.

  • Review 57 (2024-08-21 - Rating: 5)

Had a lovely lunch here with the lunch tapas special, $24 per person for two plates each with churros for dessert. We had 6 plates total. The escalivada had a wonderful depth of flavour, the patatas bravas were beautifully crispy yet soft in the middle, and the meatballs were hearty and delicious. We also got the croquetas setas and the lamb skewers which were both excellent. The churros were also outstanding, some of the best Ive had, freshly made and not too sweet with the bitter chocolate dip for balance.

  • Review 58 (2023-04-11 - Rating: 4)

They have 30 minutes break time during brunch time. Try to avoid going there around noon to 1pm. Overall food was great.

  • Review 59 (2023-04-27 - Rating: 5)

Came for lunch and got the tomato bread plus paella. Had to get the smaller paella which took 20min to cook (vs the big one which is 40min). Both were delicious! Also had their pomelo cocktail!

  • Review 60 (2021-05-16 - Rating: 5)

We only had 2 tapas but they were so delicious!!!! Maria was our waitress and she was wonderful! She even gave is some advice on the jamon iberico that we were curious about. The sangria was also amazing. Slightly pricey but worth every cent. 🥰

Did a business dinner here and the food was great. Service was responsive. It was tapas style, but the portions were good, especially for entrees.

  • Review 62 (2024-08-07 - Rating: 5)

Churros is my favourite with Nutella , food taste is too good and quality, place with piece of mind

  • Review 63 (2023-06-26 - Rating: 5)

This was the second Boqueria I visited in the city. Its a place with excellent service, very tasty food, and a great atmo. Paella was the best I’ve had in my life. Also tried Jamon Serrano, and four different tapas, including Pulpo a la Plancha, Gambas al Ajillo, Pintxos Morunos, and Pimientos de Padron, and all of them were flavorful, tasty, and cooked perfectly. Cocktails were great as well, I had a few glasses of Margarita De Rosas, which was a perfect combination with food. We were 5 and it cost around $120 per person.

  • Review 64 (2019-11-15 - Rating: 4)

Roast Chicken was very good. Patatas bravas were also very good. The roasted eggplant (escalivada) which I hadnt planned on getting, but was reccomended by our server, was 13 dollars and felt like a true rip off and was mostly flat bread. I was quite disappointed. Service was good.

  • Review 65 (2020-02-04 - Rating: 4)

Love love this tapas place. The portion is very generous for a tapas place. We came on a sundays night without a reservation and were seated right away. We love the ambient, the service was quick and beyond professional.

  • Review 66 (2022-05-15 - Rating: 4)

Boqueria is always my easy go-tos, which I do not have many. Easy go tos consists of the following categories:1. Ambience2. Great happy hour deals3. Food is yummyBoqueria always fulfills the three. The staff members seemed to be a mix of newer to veterans (some had to check with the manager for some questions I had), but nevertheless always accommodating and friendly. I like Boqueria here and also by the Chelsea area.

  • Review 67 (2021-07-04 - Rating: 5)

Great tapas restaurant. Some restaurants claim to be a tapa restaurant but really aren’t. This one hits the mark. Try the Classic Tapas set menu. It has a little bit of everything.

The was, hands down, one of our best dining experiences in NYC! We were a party of 8 who ordered the Boqueria Experience and tried every flavor of sangria. Our server brought endless plates of delicious food, all of which was perfectly cooked (tender, delectable chicken and seafood). The service was excellent—seamlessly accommodating the one member of our party who is gluten-free. We can’t wait to come back to Boqueria!!

Had a great experience here! Food was delicious, staff was very friendly. Paella was the best I’ve had! The asparagus tapas was one of the best foods ive ever had. The churros were hot and crunchy. Just amazing. The restaurant is also gorgeous. Our server Jacob was very lovely and attentive. Will definitely come back!

Well, ONE OF THE BEST 🥘 PAELLA EVER. I’ve been tasting paella for years in different restaurants, but here is a MUST to try if you are close to nyc or visiting the city. And I enjoyed looking how they prepare everting; very clean. The price is 3/5-Awesome costumer service- The sangría so delicious. 🍹🍷- Good music, modern place- Lovely entree’s

  • Review 76 (2019-01-05 - Rating: 4)

The food is mostly good here, but its not enjoyable since it all comes out so quickly and at once. We even said we only ordered one thing at a time. So, if youd like to drop $100 in less than 20 minutes, this fits the bill. Otherwise, only order one thing to properly enjoy your night out.

  • Review 77 (2024-07-08 - Rating: 5)

This is one of those restaurants that’s been on my list for a while before finally trying it. And I have to say, I really wish I came here earlier! The tapas were comparable to the best I’ve had in Spain, and the service was excellent (big shoutout to Milton Andreas for handling a rude customer with grace). The standout dish for me was the lamb skewer (another shoutout to Milton Andreas for recommending it). The seafood paella was good too, but if you’re deciding between a paella or tapas, then I’d recommend the tapas

  • Review 78 (2024-06-22 - Rating: 4)

Good selection of Spanish tapas and paella. The vibes are more upscale than casual but still somewhat accessible. Portion sizes are decent and the seafood paella is amazing! Would definitely recommend trying that as well as the lamb skewers and patatas bravas.

5 Stars - A Perfect Tapas Experience at Boqueria!Boqueria is an absolute gem in NYC for anyone who appreciates incredible tapas-style dining. The menu offers a fantastic variety of dishes, perfect for sharing, with thoughtful portion sizes that allow you to try a little bit of everything without feeling overwhelmed. Each dish was flavorful, beautifully prepared, and clearly crafted with care. What truly set Boqueria apart for us, though, was the exceptional service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the entire experience seamless from start to finish. Whether you’re a tapas aficionado or just exploring small-plate dining, Boqueria strikes the perfect balance of options, quality, and atmosphere.

Perfect, had the El Mediodia which gives you peppers, a selection of 2 tapas from a list of 8 options and 2 churros for desert for $35 per person which is incredible value for the quality of the food.Flawless food, flawless service, good value and I left with the exact level of satisfaction you want from a meal. Not too full and completely satisfied.

We’re staying at the AC Hotel and popped in here for a quick bite to eat - the ambience and food made us stay for a couple hours longer! The hanger steak was exceptional, fantastic taste and so tender, as were the lamb skewers! We were seated at the kitchen counter, there was a real buzz and service was quick considering the place was packed out.Special thanks to head chef Willy who went above and beyond to make our first visit here memorable. We will be back!

Really great spot for a date or to hang out with your friend you havent seen in a while. Really nice for talking, if you get a counter seed, you can watch everything be made. Usually great service and the place itself is very nice. There are multiple branches around the city, but this is one of my favorite ones. Food is delicious, and definitely spanish. the sangria is wonderful. Highly recommend the seafood paella its fantastic for sharing and taste amazing.

Our hotels concierge recommended Boqueria to us and we landed up here on a drizzly friday night, around 9 PM. As promised, this was a cool and relaxed modern Tapas style bar/ restaurant walking distance from the saturated lights of times square. The finger food was good but the Shishito Pepper Infused Margarita was outstanding.Seating at this time of the evening is hard to get and we spent our evening seated at the bar, which made for a great social place to meet with the locals. Overall, highly recommended for food, drinks and ambiance.

  • Review 92 (2019-10-21 - Rating: 5)

Solid choice for Midtown. Yes it’s in a hotel so it’s a little bit touristy and pricey. That being said they have authentic Spanish dishes and products. Worth a visit if Spain is a bit too far.

  • Review 93 (2024-04-06 - Rating: 4)

Second visit to hotel AC but first time at Boqueria. Tapas from a bar are delicious, and we look forward to breakfast. Staff friendly, just a bit slow behind the bar. Its around 4:30pm and bar is at 75% capacity for reference. I hope this helps, stay safe and eat well....

It was a 24 hour trip to New York. I was looking to drink a good Sangria and I found this place. Red Sangria was very good, I had 2 pitchers. Our server Nathan was very polite, nice and helpful, nice person. I started with a Croqueta of Setas, delightful. Must ask for it. I loved the Paella of Mariscos, if you love Grandmother Sticky rice you will understand how good it was… good flavor, tasty, the rice was perfect. At the end we tried the Churros recommended by Nathan and I will give it 10 of 10. it was The International day of Churros. I will come back next time I am in NYC. The restaurant is very nice, nice atmosphere. I spent 4 hours here and I had a great time. Thank you Nathan and Thanks Boqueria

I attended a large group event there last night. The food was preplanned. However, I have a rare disease and I am unable, medically, to eat a wide range of food. I could eat nothing on the planned menu without risking anaphylaxis. The server and chef(s) were amazing! The server asked me what I could eat, and the chef cooked it for me. I am so appreciative. Also, it was incredibly tasty. I really wish I could have eaten the planned menu, because it looked really tasty.

  • Review 99 (2024-01-29 - Rating: 5)

Very traditional cuisine but stylish decoration choices. It is worth mentioning that this restaurant offers relatively large selection of tapas in NYC. Some seats allow you to watch the cooking process of some dishes through the bright open kitchen. There is no dish that is not classic or delicious. If I were to think of authentic and delicious Spanish food in NYC, this would be my first choice.

Boqueria is a lovely oasis in one of the busiest places in the world, Time Sq/Broadway. Albeit it is located on the ground floor of a hotel, as a local its very inviting. Afternoons tend to not be so busy and the atmosphere is perfect for an extended meet up for business or pleasure. Reservations are recommended, and easy to make via their website. The staff is very accomodating. The bartenders are friendly and gracious. And last, but not least, if you dig contemporary electronic soulful and live Tropical Music, then you will especially enjoy Boqueria. As a professional DJ for 30 years in NYC and globally, it feels international, yet local.. a nice combo. And the food is insanely fabulous!!! Get the Bacon wrapped dates or the mushroom croquettes.. theres something for both vegetarians and meat eaters.

Boqueria has a solid assortment of tapas. We opted for pan con tomate, bacon wrapped dates, mushroom croquettes, traditional tortilla, roasted eggplant (a big hit) with some manchego to finish. All were certified as very satisfying. Our beverages consisted of vermouth, beer and wine. Im not sure if their liquor delivery was late but three of the beverages we ordered were not in stock.Service was friendly and charming although a bit distracted. There was big groups, singles, couples all seemingly enjoying themselves. The space is fairly spacious and lighting is appropriate.

Really nice ambience I was surprised to how beautiful of a restaurant this one was I’ve never been to Bulgaria before, but I’ve of course seen it in the city. The food was surprisingly good. I’m not a huge fan of Spanish tapas, but I surprisingly liked it. The meatballs were pretty good but a smaller portion. The steak was good but also a bit smaller portion. So for the prices the portions were bit.

  • Review 113 (2023-12-04 - Rating: 5)

Absolutely loved Boqueria in the past and was so thrilled to see that the flavors and service are just as great as I remember. So nice to be able to get a reservation for a pre show brunch the day before. Our waiter was fantastic and the food is just so tasty. Don’t miss the pan con tomatoes (so simple, so tasty), the croquettes (divine), the meatballs (the sauce is amazing) and the patatas bravas. Good mocktails & cocktails and the churros don’t disappoint. Can’t wait to go back!

The staff is super friendly and helpful and the interior of the place is cool with nice lighting. Music is good too, comfortable but not too loud at all. We were a group of 5 and absolutely loved it. My #1 for Tapas in NY from now on.

  • Review 123 (2023-11-02 - Rating: 5)

The menu at Boqueria was filled with a variety of mouthwatering options, and I couldnt resist starting with an order of their shishito peppers with coarse sea salt. The peppers had just the right amount of char and paired perfectly with the salt for a burst of flavor. Next, I tried the gambas al ajillo, which was an absolute standout. The shrimp were cooked to perfection and bathed in a garlic-infused oil that left me wanting more. Moving onto the baby squid with white beans, artichokes, and squid ink, I was pleasantly surprised by the combination of flavors. The squid was tender, and the artichokes added a lovely texture to each bite. One dish that I simply couldnt get enough of was the dates stuffed with almonds and valdeón blue cheese, wrapped in bacon. The sweet and savory combination was fantastic, and the bacon added a nice crispy element. As if that wasnt enough, I also indulged in their churros dusted with cinnamon sugar and filled with Nutella. Each bite was a heavenly explosion of warm, chocolatey goodness. And to top it all off, I savored the Turrón - an almond and hazelnut cake served with honey dulce de leche ice cream and chantilly. The decadent combination of sweetness was out of this world, and I couldnt help but savor every last bite. Overall, my dining experience at Boqueria was incredible. The relaxed ambiance, attentive service, and delectable dishes made it a truly memorable meal. I cant wait to go back and try more of their amazing dishes!

We went into Boqueria last week and decided to try the Chefs selection. Our waitress was so kind and everything was freaking delicious! (The Iberico ham in particular was melt in your mouth). We did experience a bit of confusion with the menu, which should be updated as it is a bit confusing that this selection is a *per-person* price, and that theres no way to share one. However, when we discussed this with the manager, he made it right for us which I really appreciate.Great service, great food, great leadership.Highly recommend.Cheers

I had a wonderful time with my friends. It’s a great place for large groups and less stress by ordering the prefix menu. Out of everything the one thing I was very grateful and impressed with was the CUSTOMER SERVICE. Every person I interacted with was very polite and accommodating. It is not easy navigating the hurdles of Covid but they figured out how to sit our group outside last minute. During dining, our server made sure we were comfortable and answered all our questions. He was able to sub one of the paella serving with a steak. Price was very reasonable and we did not feel rushed. I will definitely be returning!!

My wife and I loved this place! We had reservations to eat dinner here before going to a Broadway show, but had to push back our reservation time because we were running late. The staff was very accommodating and flexible, and our server, Orlando, was no exception. Once seated, we let him know we were on a tight timetable, and he made it happen. He had wonderful tapas and drinks on the table in a flash, and we had time to enjoy ourselves. We would go back here in a heartbeat!

This place is easily in our top 3. Great atmosphere (take proof of vaccination), and amazing food. But what makes this a top notch experience is the service. From servers to management: personable, professional, and fun. We were newbies to tapas, but they made us feel like long time customers.Go!

Portions are small and the place is pricey so be aware of that, but the place is higher quality and delicious everytime i visit. For one tapas item and a Margarita, expect to pay $50 before tip per person!

Been here twice cause I love their food! Came here for NYC restaurant week but got turned down because they said I can’t do it because I’m by myself! They should have put it on the menu that the minimum is 2 persons.Location: It is located in West 40th. There is outdoor and indoor. I went indoor and asked to be seated on the kitchen counter so I can see it, again I was turned down. There are lot of seats and pretty nice interior.Service: they are nice to explain why I can’t do the nyc restaurant week menu and why I can’t sit on the kitchen counter. But still it should be on the menu so people won’t get confused. They were fast serving my food!Food: So I ordered ALBONDIGAS: it was good meatballs, the inside is moist and tender and the sauce compliments it. 4 huge meatballs and you will be full! CROQUETAS de JAMON: crispy in the outside and it melts inside! Soo good my favorite! DATILES CON BEICON: omg it was the bomb! And there is a sort of a nut inside that gives texture to the dates! The bacon was so delicious! CHURROS: this was my list favorite, the churros was okay and the chocolate is too liquidy!Price rating: 8/10, it was not bad for food that you will get.Definitely will come back here because I love their foods! Hopefully next time they can offer NYC restaurant week to people who went by themselves!

4.7/5Came here with a party of 8 on a Monday with reservations made before hand. For groups of 6 or larger; you are required to choose between the 2 options for Chefs menu. So it was basically a tasting menu at $65 per person. That was a bit pricey I’d say.Yes, you get a taste of many things with that but granted you get 1-2 bites each for some of the things. Food was tasty although it was a bit “salty” for some in our party. We did receive our salad first & about 3 items later, chicken was brought out that was apart of the salad.Overall we had a good experience and everyone left full with take home boxes.

Interesting experience but not for everyone . We ordered tasting menu that was very interesting snd every dish was made very well but too mush oil . It is, probably specialty of Basque cuisine, but be prepared for that. Sangria was very tasty and all together it was a very pleasant experience. Do g forget to make reservations.
