We came in for snacks and loved it. They have vanilla infused lemonade and it was delicious.We highly recommend it for a Dominican experience while in the states.They have Dominican style coffee and many of the Dominican foods.Fresh quipes and Yaniqueque. A must try!

The food was great, we ordered Yuka balls, empanadas, quipes, picadera mixta, chicken chimi (it is the same as a sandwich) and bread pudding. It was great, my favorites were guava cheese empanadas and Yuka balls. They have different natural juices We tried passion fruit and morirsoñando and they were pretty good. The service was great. We had a good time .

I fell in love with the environment as soon as I wall in. Its Dominican inspired and is perfect for a family adventure, date, or even a solo visit. I had the chinola juice and it was really good. In terms of food, everything was amazing and decently size, so you will not stay hungry. The empandas are freshly made and is a must try. The yaroa is also another favorite of mine. I need to come back and try the other delicious food items.

I ordered catering for my dad’s birthday lunch for at least 20 people: pernil, rice and a baked chicken. People ate at least twice and still there was leftovers. Everyone loved it! tasted like abuela’s food. I will order from them again 🙌🏽

The highlight of our neighborhood with its Dominican colmado/pulperia design that brings me back home every time I visit. This is a beautiful spot that evokes the traditional Dominican little bodega with a space on the second floor for private events that suits beautifully for gatherings. The menu has all the empanadas combinations you can imagine. My favorite is the egg one and for dessert you must try the cheese and guava. They also cater and have other finger food that you can order. Michael at the bar will take excellent care of you. This woman owned business led by Carol is a great place for the family.

We had a delicious meal here today. Started with the Yeniqueques (ham+cheese, cheese, and buffalo chicken) which were excellent. Then I had the fried salami (with wonderfully spiced french fries), my wife had a salad and a fresh squeezed juice, and my daughter had a pizza. The food was terrific and the staff lovely. So happy theyve come to such a convenient location on Broadway in Inwood.

I love being dominican. i HEAVILY recommend this cafe for authentic dominican food. the waitresses are so so sweet. the food on top of that is amazing. i could literally eat everything on the menu. i really really want to eat the chimi sandwich again, with their fries! UGH!! so good 10/10 recommend. still dreaming about that chimi sandwich…it was just that good😭😭

The food was great. I had the baconegg&cheese empanada, guava and cheese empanada, chicken croquetas chinola juice, and the family platter. The food was delicious. The amothsphere was great, and the service was good as well. The downside is that the amount of food per price is not very proportional. This place is great cafe for sitting down with someone and talking while eating small snacks appetizers, not really a meal. I will come again with my friends to have a chill, good time ;D

Absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful, it brought back many memories of my childhood in the Dominican Republic and the delicious food made with love and fresh ingredients. and staff are super friendly. I love that you get a lot of food for the price. It’s definitely a place to visit!

From the decor and ambience a glimpse of a cultural experience of a neighborhood local spot.Presentation of dishes are witty and captivating. Food is delicious, freshly made and just the right seasoning.I’ve been there for coffee ( which strongly recommend to my coffee lovers) and for late afternoon snack/dinner and a drink. I’ve always gone for the yaniqueque/ empanada as a snack and grilled chicken for dinner and a drink.Both times exceptionally pleasant.They’re expanding their menu, which will bring a new array of options between snacks and meals. Including new side dishes, smoothies, cocktails etc.Very exciting.Definitely one of my fave local spots!Totally a Gem.

This place is incredible! I came here with my girlfriend and every dish we ordered was freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. We got the yuca balls, two yaniqueques, and the chicharron de pollo with tostones. The cheese yaniqueque is one of the best things Ive ever eaten; I wish I could give this place 6 stars.

Hidden Gem off the Grand ConcourseMy friend and I found this place one day after work and instantly fell in love. We had chicken and cheese and beef and cheese empanadas and a passion fruit juice. We were very hungry and we were extremely satisfied!I recently used them for a large empanada order for a fundraiser at my church. I called last minute, and the manager Carol was very delightful and able to accommodate our request. At a low price per empanada, we were able to re-sell to our community and raise money for our church at the same time. Im so happy that I stumbled upon this place. Will be going here much more often.

Love this Inwood restaurant. The food is so delicious and fresh, I was really impressed. I’ve eaten latin food my entire life and usually it can be a little greasy but Amores had all the flavors and seasoning without all grease. Everything tasted light and fresh, I was blown away by the empanadas that are made to order, the perfect bite, great texture in the dough and again so fresh. Highly addictive I could order them every day. I ordered the chicharron de Pollo and tostones, amazing flavor! I washed everything down with a delicious morir sonando drink with passion fruit as the base, I’m used to having it with oranges and this just took the meal to the next level. The staff is so kind and attentive. Will definitely be returning, craving those empanadas as I write this. Highly recommend!

Good afternoon, I was recently there, after watching a video by Feliz Baez and I decided to go try it, the place is super cool and above all the touch of including so much of our country, of our classic Dominican things gives it a super plus .Now, the wait between courses was too long, but theres a reason for that, all the food is super fresh and made right on the spot. I understand that part and I totally agree with the rhyme.The only suggestion I would give you is that taking into account what you want to convey as fresh and unique, change the method a little, either by trying to prepare the orders for a table all together and serve them together, or by having more staff to flow faster. , because in my opinion, letting your costumers sit for more than two hours is a lot. But I really understand that the place is growing and over time they will make the necessary adjustments. This is not a criticism, it is more of an opinion based on my experience and without a doubt I will return soon.

I really liked the place, very Dominican, it transports us to our homeland, the food was very very delicious, the wings were a little burnt but nothing out of this world, everything was very delicious, the atmosphere is very relaxed to go and clear your mind. Something I didnt like is a table that faces the bathroom and when people came out they left the bathroom door open with the toilet lid and also put a sign for uneducated people to close the bathroom door. It is not at all pleasant for the one who is eating. And another thing is that the food lasts a long time, I went with the desire to eat and with hunger, I drank the juice before me and I already felt full but everything was very delicious. I even recommend it to sit at the bar and have a COLD and thus feel at ease. a grocery store in Dominican. This place is worth it without waste.

I went to Amores Café on a Saturday around 1pm, the place was small, but cozy, the staff was super friendly, the food was generally delicious, but the wait for a green juice was about 25 minutes and for an empanadas and a panini it was of more or less 50 minutes, well anyway the food was worth the wait in one way or another.

Im into intimate places, good food, and drinks that go well with the rest. Amores - with such a cool name - has all this for me. The quipes are delicious and it is a sure stop for my mouth. I like that the food doesnt feel heavy, which is a breath of fresh air for the areas options. They now have Jazz nights, which I havent been to yet, but I think its an excellent idea and I know it will enhance the positive experience I always have when I go. Super attentive staff. 5 stars.
