Everything we ordered was excellent and cooked perfectly. The arugula, peach, and pecorino salad was top tier. After that, we had the Bucatini Baczynsky, which was also loaded with flavor and a nice bit of heat. The entrees and sides also didn’t fail to disappoint - the strip steak was particularly exquisite. It was a bit crowded and loud but it was a Saturday night, so it’s understandable. Overall a great dinner choice for a night out in the Village.

I want to begin with strong praise for the staff and service. We went to this place after we found this place in Resy AMEX member week list who had brunch reservation available on the evening before. We read good reviews about the food and ambience. Since we booked reservation late so we only found the spot in outdoor heated setting, which was quite comfortable. We ordered Camembert and Baguette to begin and then went on to get Ravioli, Angel Hair pasta along with omelette and chicken sandwich. The food was tasty though slight small portion. Wish they had bottomless brunch option like many others in the area.

Visited this restaurant after a recommendation from a friend. Got a reservation for 4 for brunch and my friends and I were treated exceptionally well. We dined family style so we just got a very large variety of items to share amongst one another and every single item was delicious. All dish items pictured. The standouts for this meal include: smoked whitefish salad and rye crisps, warm almond croissant, buckwheat pancake, the angel hair frencese, and the bourbon pecan pie. WOW.

Antons has a great energy indoors for a loud and rowdy dinner. Their outdoors however is really perfect for a more calm and slow summer night. Really enjoyed everything we ate. We were pleasantly surprised by the sliced round roast that was a lot more flavourful than expected, especially with the touch of horseradish. The smoked whitefish was delicious too!

Excellent cozy restaurant located in the heart of the west village with friendly staff and classic decor that looks well preserved from a long time ago. The food was great and the Brussels sprouts were especially tasty. The music being played was also well chosen for the clientele and atmosphere. The pricing was reasonable and well sized. Overall I will head back and recommend others go there too. But not too many, because I want to be able to get a table again in the future. Hope this helps!

This is such a beautiful restaurant with wonderful and attentive service. We had brunch and our server was thoughtful and prompt. We shared the baguette small bite which was delicious and had the chicken sandwich and buccatini. We will be back to try more of the menu!

Upscale restaurant, great service, good atmosphere, the food could be better. I ordered an hanger steak and although it was well cooked it came cold. The portion for the macaroni spinach was extremely small. The highlight of my brunch was the dessert! If you are planning on going for a brunch take into consideration that portions are smaller than normal. Its also pricey as well.

The food is delicious. From appetizers to desserts, everything was very delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic. A great place for a date night. The only complaint and the reason for the lower rating are the cocktails... The cocktails are too strong (only the alcohol is felt), and one of us had a bug in it, the waiter said he would make us a new one... Of course they just took the bug out of the cocktail and gave us back the same. But still all recommendations for this restaurant.

We made a point of coming here on our visit to New York and we could not have been more impressed. The atmosphere was cozy, the food was perfection (highly recommend the heritage pork chop and shrimp spaghetti a la Camille), and the entire staff from host to server to sommelier to manager gave us exactly the right amount of attentiveness. Anton’s is clearly run with a focus on the diner experience and we would come back over and over again if we could. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

An elevated restaurant with great happy hour cocktails (3-5pm), upscale outdoor seating and pleasant ambiance inside. The service was super friendly and attentive even despite the mess our toddlers made.All apps are really big size. Sliced roast beef with horseradish was so good we contemplated to order another one. Chicory salad with stilton was delectable as well. Camembert came in a big slice with a good baguette chunk. Our waiter Natasha was really nice, fun and helpful.

Really loved taking my parents to Antons. Upscale place to enjoy oysters or a beautiful cut of beef. The sommelier was incredibly helpful and friendly. This place would be lovely solo (eating at the bar) but a group of 3-4 was ideal for sharing. Highly recommend the liver and heart appetiser! We also had the 2-3 person shared steak special and it was superb.

Good restaurants arent always fond of a group of a dozen but Antons made our recent family and friends get together a great success. We had a prefix menu that was absolutely delicious and generous. First course included radicchio salad, a camembert plate and a fantastic pate with baguette. Second was sliced beef, a pork roast and a spicy pasta served along with wonderful vegetable sides. Terrific sommelier, attentive service and great presentation (caught the photo as people were digging in). The place is small enough that one could hear each other over the chatter of other happy guests. This is indeed special occasion worthy without the high pressure atmosphere.

I’ve now been to Anton’s for both brunch and dinner, and neither meal has disappointed. The Bucatini is a must for either meal. The Red Aubergine Pureé with Burnt Toast is also essential for dinner. Overall, the vibe is elevated neighborhood café. As someone who loves orange wine - they have a solid selection and I found the Aphros to be very good and a crowd pleaser for a group. Would absolutely recommend.

Great experience here. Cocktails really shine and the Elope to Hudson is a standout. Aperol Spritz garnished with a green olive was a surprise but made for a complex, layered flavor that really elevated the drink. First time customer, just had a lovely little lunch here with a friend on an unusually hot 87 degree, April day. The AC was pumping, so thank you. The restaurant looks charming, intimate and cozy, I had the simple omelette and my friend had a pasta special and the spinach and broccoli sides. The vibe is lovely unfussy and smartly executed. You can never go wrong anytime you visit Anton’s but we especially love its under the radar special lunch menu from noon to 3pm. Their pasta’s are half price and a great way to taste a couple of different items from the menu. My wife and I shared two different pastas yesterday which always makes for a great lunch time experience and a great deal. I had the shrimp spaghetti while she had the ricotta ravioli and they were both to die for. Make sure to get some of their wonderful bread to dig out any extra sauce on the plate to complete the meal. Also make sure to ask about the specials not on the menu (on our day, it was pork schnitzel and chicken wings) for something new and different. In addition, they prepare a wonderful pasta for kids which our daughter and the rest of the family enjoyed also. Frankly, everything is great. Finally, leave room to try the ice cream sandwich to end the meal. Anton’s is truly a great way to enjoy an afternoon in the West Village for some great food, service and ambiance. We highly recommend!

We absolutely loved Antons. We had a party of 6 and decided to order a bunch of food and share it, which turned out to be a fantastic idea. Its hard to choose even a few favorites because it was all excellent. We loved the smoked whitefish and the camembert for appetizers, the mixed chicories and maple glazed brussel sprouts for salads, and the bucatini and strip steak were also incredible. I am personally not a fan of horseradish, but still managed to love the sliced round roast with horseradish. The owners stopped by our table and Natalie helped us with our wine selections, all of which were great. We will make Antons a stop every time we come to New York in the future. Highly recommend!

We were lucky to get the last outdoor table with heater on a sunny but freezing Sunday noon. A bite of the popover, we have fallen love with this place. The angel hair pasta, drizzled crunchy bread crumbs on top, was super delicious. We also enjoyed the way they made the omelette - with fried oysters and bacon. The wings are listed as an appetizer and the broccoli is listed as a side.The chocolate tart with sour cream is super creamy. The sour cream is lovely.Im excited to try dine-in service after this. I want to try everything!I ordered through DoorDash. The packaging is solid. One minor thing to improve is the sour cream came pretty melted for the chocolate tart. Tasted great.

Antons is an upscale restaurant with a very diverse menu. For appetizers, we had the olives and almonds and the sliced round roast. All 6 of us had a menu choice that was unique to each. The environment of the restaurant made it a wonderful experience for dinner.

A+++ loved it. The bartender tells me they opened only five days ago, so well see how they age. But here are some reasons for my rating:1) the music was tasteful and quiet. A nice mix of old Americana (Robert Johnson, Patsy Cline, Little Richard). But most importantly, the volume didnt overwhelm the space, even as the place started to fill with diners. Please keep it this way!2) I had the angel hair francese and the apple crisp, and both were comforting and delicious.3) I asked for a wine that would go well with the pasta and the bartender picked out something that was delicious. And then for dessert he made me a wonderful bourbon chai concoction that was like liquid autumn.4) the lighting is perfect and the staff were friendly and professional.Altogether a very good experience, I will be coming back.

I stormed into Antons a few months ago in a moment of hangry indecision and ended up ordering the Spaghetti Anchoiade. When I first got the plate, I was radically underwhelmed by what appeared to be a plate of naked spaghetti, but my entire mood turned around after the first bite. The flavor was so concentrated, buttery, and intense that I savored the entire plate noodle by noodle. The bartenders wine pairing suggestions were great, and literally months later, Im kept awake nights haunted by the memory of this dish. I cant wait to go back and try more of what Anton has cooking!

My wife and I dined here last night. Cozy ambiance and neighborhood-friendly vibe. Welcoming with a hint of chic. Good soulful music at a reasonable levels. Menu was classic and enticing. Interesting wines by the glass, both we tasted were great, as was the apple cider-based mocktail. Started with crudites (& dip) and crab salad - delicious. Then shared the linguine with clams which was authentically cooked al dente and a hanger steak that was excellent. Finished with a not too-sweet chocolate cake and sour cream. All-in-all, pretty darn impressive and not complicated. Definitely a return spot. Didnt get to do the whole roast chicken with white truffles. Need to try before out of season.

My husband and I are regulars at this charming West Village restaurant. The food and service are top notch and I cant go more than two weeks without having Chef Nick Anderers Angle Hair Francese pasta. His pastas are amazing, all homemade, but dont overlook the rest of the menu. My favorites; Chicories, Hazelnuts & Stilton salad, Smoked Whitefish Salad, Red Aubergine Puree, Strip Steak with Melted Onions, and Shrip Persillade.

One of the most consistent restaurants in NYC! They’re consistent with their flavors, their service, the ambiance, and the greatness they bring to the table. The restaurant is chic, a little bit of old school look and charm. Wait staff is attentive and knowledgeable. The drinks are strong and delicious. And the food, oh the food! Is! Worth! Talking! About! For! Days!I know how hard it is to deliver consistency day after day, yet this place doesn’t fail! The reason it’s become one of my (few) favorite places go to in NYC! Anton’s has fantastic dishes and great cocktails with friendly, attentive staff. Have been there twice for dinner and twice for drinks and have loved it all 4 times. Recommend the tomato and stilton salad special, bucatini, steak with mushrooms and roasted chicken. The olives and almonds are nice for a lighter starter or snack. Also the bartenders make an amazing Bee’s Knees cocktail I highly recommend 🍸🍋🍯Anton’s is a cozy neighborhood spot that’s high on quality and energy and low on pretension.

The Roasted Heritage Chicken with Grilled Peppers was the perfect combination of moist whilst having a slight crisp to the skin. Packed with flavor and juices with every bite. The basil leaves that came with it added the extra oomf to the palate. The Bucatini Baczynsky is just as good as the first time I tried. The kick from the spice just reminds one you are alive to enjoy such a sumptuous meal.Jose was a wonderful waiter who I have to thank for my Watermelon Margerita and would’ve nearly got the Summer Berry Smash if I wasn’t saving room for dessert. I also wish to highlight the forthcoming Floor Manager who was kind enough to answer my questions about his history with Anton’s.What a wonderful Friday solo dinner.

The service during a frantic rush hour was as caring as a new york dog owner.
