This place is a gem in the heart of hells kitchen off the ave. Super friendly and considerate staff, food is exceptional for a great price. The eggplant with goat cheese is insanely delicious and the pastas are so fresh you can almost see through them. I want to try them all!

  • Review 2 (2024-04-26 - Rating: 5)

Loved the wine, food, and service here! The presentation and taste of everything we ordered was amazing, especially the eggplant appetizer dish (I would return just to eat this again with a glass of wine)! The waiters were also very attentive and kept clearing out used plates and glasses promptly and checking if we wanted to order more. We spent more than 4 hours there!

  • Review 3 (2024-09-08 - Rating: 5)

What a lovely place! The food is delicious, the service outstanding and the whole atmosphere simply great. My favorite italien restaurant in Hells Kitchen!

  • Review 4 (2024-12-01 - Rating: 5)

Absolutely amazing restaurant. Mark was our server and he was incredibly friendly. Beautiful restaurant. 10/10 would recommend.

  • Review 5 (2024-12-14 - Rating: 5)

Arias kitchen was incredible. Not only was the food spectacular but Mark (the owner) is stunningly attractive with impeccable taste. The espresso martini also slayed hard

  • Review 6 (2024-12-09 - Rating: 5)

Fabulous food, attentive service, reasonable prices in a cozy space. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, sharing a variety of apps, salad and entree. Space is tight, which may put off some people. They make the best use of the small space they have - feels like a family affair!

  • Review 7 (2024-11-26 - Rating: 4)

The food was good and it was nice to enjoy some wine chat and get some Pasta!

  • Review 8 (2024-08-23 - Rating: 5)

Really cute, bread is very tasty, the crew is super chill and kind. Will come back soon, thank you for the great experience and amazing food!

  • Review 9 (2023-07-22 - Rating: 5)

I have walked by this place for years and finally tried it out last month. I have now been coming 3x a week. The food is absolutely delicious. The drinks are great. The staff is super friendly! The manager, Mark, is a gem.I have been promoting this place to all my family and friends. Last night, I held my cousin’s 40th birthday dinner at Aria. My entire family left that dinner praising their food, atmosphere and service.Aria is a go-to when in Hells Kitchen.

  • Review 10 (2024-11-10 - Rating: 5)

Wonderful food, great atmosphere, and pleasant staff. Visited one night before heading to a show nearby, will definitely make it a priority to come back on future trips to the city. We have the tagliatelle, fettuccini, and truffle gnocchi with a few starters, I would have to fight the urge to order it all because everything on the menu looked incredible.

  • Review 11 (2023-11-05 - Rating: 5)

An awesome restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen. The manager, Mark, is very accommodating and the food & wine is excellent. No canola or soybean oil. Italian healthy and yummy cooking. I recommend the octopus salad, calamari, arugula and feta salad as well and the truffle gnocchi. Thanks for a lovely lunch!

  • Review 12 (2024-02-24 - Rating: 5)

Dinner with friends last night at @ariahellskitchen Friendly service, delicious food and a great catch up! 2. Broccoli Rabe 3.Gnocchi in truffle cream sauce 4. Bulliet Manhattan served in a coupe! 🤤😋 Go go go. Also perfect for pre /post theatre!

  • Review 13 (2022-03-25 - Rating: 4)

The ambiance was great. From the start everything was great. The wine we chose was perfect for us. We started with the shrimp scampi and grilled eggplant, which by the was my absolute favorite! We then also ordered the tagliatelle bolognese and one of their specials, which was a truffle gnocchi dish. The tagliatelle was good, but the gnocchi hit the spot for me. So rich, flavorful, and just delicious. I probably would have been happier splitting the gnocchi because the entire dish might be a bit to rich for one sitting, but I loved it! Would love to come back to try other dishes for sure.

  • Review 14 (2024-11-24 - Rating: 5)

Aria is the most delicious Italian food in all of New York City! The hospitality is incredible and it’s a great spot for a cozy dinner before or after a Broadway show. Highly recommend the mango and goat cheese salad and the branzino.

  • Review 15 (2025-01-07 - Rating: 5)

I love here. My favorite place in Hells Kitchen for lunch, for dinner, for midday drinks.

  • Review 16 (2018-12-26 - Rating: 5)

For a little tiny space in the side of a building, the food was fantastic. The service was great. We went for dinner and the place is a little dark so my eyes had a hard time seeing the menu in my middle age status, lol. Lots of wines to choose from and the lemonade was like lemons squeezed into a cup. Man, that was bitter but still not too bad. Overall, a good place to visit but I would make a reservation because seating is limited.

  • Review 17 (2024-06-01 - Rating: 5)

I would give this place 6 starts if I could. I came here on a first date on a Sunday afternoon, and it could not have been better. Great people and ambience, staff was friendly, food was excellent, and the owner, Mark made the perfect espresso martini. We’ll be coming back to Aria for a long time.

  • Review 18 (2024-08-24 - Rating: 5)

I had passed Aria many times and last week, my out of town friend and I stopped at Aria for a light dinner. We were greeted warmly by the manager Mark. Originally, we were going to eat inside but it was a bit too loud. Tried to move outside but all the tables were taken. We decided to sit at the bar. Great suggestion by our waitress Alyssa. We order cocktails and wine, tried two yummy appetizers (the tuna and eggplant parmigiana) followed by a nice personal sized and very tasty fettuccine Bolognese.Overall, we really enjoyed the warm casual dining, the good food, and the staff.

  • Review 19 (2023-12-18 - Rating: 5)

We went for lunch, the food was amazing, service was excellent. And it was so reasonably priced especially as a high quality Italian restaurant in this neighborhood.

  • Review 20 (2024-10-10 - Rating: 5)

Staff was especially welcoming and accommodating. We were going to a Broadway show at seven, and he made sure that our food was paste well and he got us out on time! Fabulous Lam.

  • Review 21 (2023-05-20 - Rating: 5)

This restaurant is amazing. The food is phenomenal, the service is amazing, the owner is so incredible nice. I may be bias because I live around the corner but this restaurant really gives Hell’s Kitchen a plus in the food category Love y’all!

  • Review 22 (2023-06-05 - Rating: 5)

The ambiance of this place was great! The servers were very attentive and friendly. I had the burrata and prosciutto appetizer and it was delicious! The cheese was fresh and flavorful and the prosciutto was soft. The bolognese pasta was also very flavorful, the pasta was cooked perfectly and chewy. Totally recommend giving this place a try!

  • Review 23 (2023-07-17 - Rating: 5)

The staff was warm and friendly. I had one of the specials, Risotto w/Lamb shank, it was delicious! My entreee, prosecco, and sparkling water was about $60 so not too badThe restaurant is not inside of Ariba Ariba, its actually around the corner from them on 51st.

  • Review 24 (2023-01-02 - Rating: 4)

Aria is my friend’s go to place so off we went for dinner. Flavors were on point but I would’ve liked my pasta to be more al dente. Great value for money for the portions and quality. Decent wine selection too. Tiramisu is always a good idea!

  • Review 25 (2022-09-02 - Rating: 5)

Fresh. Delicious. Generous. I was a solo diner for a late lunch and I was treated like a VIP. The fettuccine is homemade and perfect, and the tiramisu is REAL tiramisu (not pudding on cookies). Also, just drink whatever wine Sara recommends. Cant wait to go back.

  • Review 26 (2023-05-09 - Rating: 5)

We had a lovely and fun experience celebrating our best friend’s birthday. The servers were kind and friendly.I did not love my main course but it was still good.Great option for a casual date.

  • Review 27 (2023-11-18 - Rating: 5)

This is by far one my favorite restaurants in Hell’s Kitchen and manhattan as a whole! There is consistent great service, food, and ambiance. Mark, the manager, makes sure we are having a great experience throughout the night and is the reason we choose Aria Hell’s Kitchen over the sister restaurants (that are also great!)

  • Review 28 (2019-04-16 - Rating: 5)

Just happened across this place- no reservation but able to sit at the bar. Loved the atmosphere, the food, and the wine! Crab cakes were sensational. We were going to the Cher Show at the Neil Simon Theatre and were taken care of in a timely manner. Highly pleased with our experience!

  • Review 29 (2023-01-24 - Rating: 4)

Staff are so lovely and the pasta is to die for! I had the lobster ravioli (tortellioni d’aragosta) and it was delicious, my only complaint about the dish is there wasn’t more!! The toilet (there’s just one) wasn’t quite as fantastic and the lock seemed a bit unreliable, but nicely decorated. The chocolate soufflé was a bit of a let down after the fab pasta and seemed far too heavy, but still very tasty! Definitely a go-to in Hell’s Kitchen and reasonably priced given its proximity to lots of broadway theatres!

  • Review 30 (2018-07-13 - Rating: 4)

Was looking for an intimate, cozy and unique authentic Italian joint and found it here. Enjoyable dinner for one at the bar. Food was very good, service was okay, atmosphere was fantastic.

  • Review 31 (2019-05-14 - Rating: 4)

Interesting Italian restaurant that serves Italian tapas-thus very good for sharing. Their pasta are good for one. Food is good and enjoyable. Atmosphere is cozy and service is pleasant and proactive. Wine selection is decent with a small dessert menu of tiramisu, lava cake and affogato etc.

  • Review 32 (2024-07-05 - Rating: 5)

We were headed to another place, but Arias outdoor seating and atmosphere was so inviting. The mango goat cheese salad was incredible; very thinly sliced mango delicately arranged around a bed of greens topped with a circle of goat cheese that was crisp on the outside, but soft on the inside. The special on the 4th was a flat homemade noodle with lamb in sauce with a crisp sprig of rosemary. Each bite was melt in your mouth incredible along with a glass of red that the waiter recommended. Tiramisu that was fluffy and creamy made for a perfect end to our meal. The staff were welcoming, polite and attentive, and yet gave us plenty of privacy to enjoy our meal. This will be without a doubt the best Italian meal I will eat in the next 10 years.

  • Review 33 (2018-06-10 - Rating: 4)

Went on Saturday night and inside of the restaurant was full so we walked across the street to the other half of the restaurant but it’s a long communal table which was not what we wanted. Anyway settled at a table on the pavement thinking we were lucky to get a table as the place was hosting a birthday party. Many people waiting in line for tables.I had high hope as it’s so busy. My first course was lobster avocado arugula salad. Well, see the pictures below. A few small pieces of lobster claw and a few tiny square shaped avocado, the whole dish was basically arugula,We waited for nearly half an hour for the second course as it’s very busy. The waiter apologised to us that it had a small kitchen. The skirt steak was almost well done. I asked for medium cooked. It was a bit chewy. Lots if spinach on the plate.Overall, food was ok but not excellent. Wonder why it’s so busy.

  • Review 34 (2024-09-04 - Rating: 5)

We have been scouring our credit card receipts trying to find this place we visited 2 years ago-( my son had the gnocchi last time and has been talking about it ever since. It was all he wanted for his 16th birthday.)It’s SO good! We had the Gnocchi and the octopus salad. Both incredible. I cannot understand why it’s not five star reviews all the way. Such memorable food and leagues better than the other restaurants close by. Probably coming back again this week.Absolutely love this place.

  • Review 35 (2022-02-08 - Rating: 5)

What an amazing experience! Me and my sister wound up in here by accident, however, what a great accident. The place has a great vibe, is very intimate, have a nice selection of wine, the menu has just enough options to enjoy a great 3-4 course meal. We went for the bolognese tagliatelle and pesto fettuccine that were delicious! For appetizers we got the caprese salad and the garlic shrimp and for dessert we got the tiramisu and chocolate soufflé. And the service was outstanding from our waitress Sara, to the manager! Definitely going back!

  • Review 36 (2024-06-29 - Rating: 5)

Oh my goodness. Food was wayyyy above average…wow. Had a burrata appetizer, bolognese tagliatelle and some sort of truffle gnocchi. I’m in a food coma so can’t be more specific but you won’t be disappointed! Service was so friendly and professional…Mark was an amazingly attentive server… and prices were really good for midtown NYC. Cannot go wrong here!!

  • Review 37 (2024-10-09 - Rating: 5)

This is a great, cozy, casual Italian restaurant near the theater district with terrific food and customer service. Also reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

  • Review 38 (2019-11-27 - Rating: 5)

Great place for lunch! The interiors is rustic and somewhat industrial- super cute! The food was great and staff was very friendly! I also reccomend getting the tiramisu for dessert, definitely one of the best ones Ive had!

  • Review 39 (2024-09-21 - Rating: 5)

Very friendly and attentive staff. Great recommendations. Muscles were amazing, 10/10 would recommend. Oh and the porchetta cristini was awesome too.

  • Review 40 (2022-02-10 - Rating: 5)

It was a quick dinner hop-in hop-out kinda Wednesday night around 7pm.Place was relatively packed. We sat at the bar and got served immediately with water, bread and menus.I had fungi pasta with truffle oil, it was delicious and quite generous portion btw. My dinner partner had pork chops and tuna nicoise salad, both were great!

  • Review 41 (2019-05-14 - Rating: 4)

Authentic Italian flavor! Good service and delicious cuisines. However it’s little bit salty to us. Credit card is acceptable.

  • Review 42 (2024-09-12 - Rating: 5)

Great little spot. Been here several times. Tried many dishes. Always great food, good service. It’s a go to for that neighborhood for sure.

  • Review 44 (2022-09-04 - Rating: 5)

Really fabulous night in Aria for our first night in New York! Mark looked after us so well and gave us excellent food and wine recommendations, along with things to do while we were in the city. Such a great evening couldn’t recommend enough!

  • Review 45 (2018-01-15 - Rating: 4)

Nice cosy little place in Hells Kitchen. Shared plates were excellent. Octopus bruscetta was severed with an amazing fresh pesto and the tomato mozzarella pictured was perfect. The only reason this is not a 5 star was the pasta dishes. While they were decently flavorful, I came here expecting fresh house made pasta. What I got was chewy gnocchi and chalky orecchiette.Desserts were nice and helped keep this at 4 stars. Italian wine selection was decent.

  • Review 46 (2024-11-24 - Rating: 5)

This is the best neighborhood restaurant. The food is always delicious and the service is out of the park. Always feels like home in here.

  • Review 47 (2024-01-09 - Rating: 5)

Great aesthetic place in Hell’s Kitchen! The food was great, and the espresso martinis amazing too!

  • Review 48 (2023-07-14 - Rating: 5)

Beautiful space with great food and wine. Loved the espresso martini too! Would be perfect for date night.

  • Review 49 (2024-03-17 - Rating: 5)

We were recommended Arias Hells Kitchen by a friend. We met up with my cousins from England and Ireland in Manhattan and Arias was superb! From greeting to food and atmosphere an absolute delight! Thank you Mark! Your wait staff were attentive, polite and understanding and explained patiently the menu to our overseas cousins. We loved everything, the ambience , the menu and meals. Mark you are indeed a professional and know what makes your customers happy!

  • Review 50 (2024-02-09 - Rating: 5)

This was my first time at this lovely localPlace and I will definitely be returning. The place is very cute with two bars and tables all around the place. It is the perfect place for a pre-show or post-show meal or just drinks and appetizers as they have some small plates and large plates. They have a very nice menu with plenty of selections and always have specials. The food was very tasty. You will not be disappointed. My daughter has been there several times and introduced me to this place. I look forward to the next time I will be in that area to eat there again.

  • Review 51 (2021-08-19 - Rating: 5)

If you’re looking for delicious legit Italian dishes, this is the place. Great portions and price is reasonable. The ambiance is sweet as well.

  • Review 52 (2018-10-29 - Rating: 5)

We started with the goat cheese/ shredded mango, with arugula salad. It was delicious and probably only lasted less than a minute on our table lol. We both had the mushroom truffle linguine which I thought was very good but the amount of truffle was overwhelming for my partner so he had the penne arbiatta. We loved the ambiance and vibe on a Friday night in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen . The prices were very fair too.

  • Review 53 (2024-02-05 - Rating: 5)

Friendly and attentive staff! Loved the variety of food and wine. Can’t wait to be back!! Best Italian restaurant in NYC.

  • Review 54 (2024-04-12 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 62 (2024-03-12 - Rating: 5)

Aria continues to outdo itself. From the intimate vibes inside (always has a great playlist going) to the delicious wine and food - it never misses. The manager, Mark, and the service staff are incredible. $19 authentic Italian pasta! You don’t come across that often in NYC. My go-to spot.

  • Review 63 (2020-03-08 - Rating: 5)

Great plates to share in this small and intimate restaurant in Hells kitchen. Burrata and risotto were table highlights.

  • Review 64 (2018-12-10 - Rating: 4)

Great place. I was there many time and also in other their locations. The food is delicious, they have a big selection of small plates of food, no complaints about it. But... the tables are tiny and the staff is little bit arrogant, which I dont like and thats why I gave 4 stars.

  • Review 65 (2024-02-16 - Rating: 5)

Wonderful Italian place has become our go-to spot for after a show. Regular menu is great, but never been disappointed by the specials, especially the seafood dishes. We start with a cicchetti, get a couple different pasta dishes and a main, but make sure to save room for dessert.

  • Review 66 (2018-11-15 - Rating: 5)

While the place can become cramped and crowded, the food more than makes up for it. The lamb chops were the highlight.

  • Review 67 (2024-11-10 - Rating: 5)

Great food and amazing service, highly recommend. Will definitely be returning soon

  • Review 68 (2024-02-15 - Rating: 5)

I’m not one to normally leave a review, but this is one of my favorite restaurants in the city! The food is unmatched and very well priced. Whether you’re looking for a place to grab a bite before a show, or just looking for a solid date night, this is the spot to go.Mark is the best and I can’t recommend this place enough!

  • Review 69 (2024-02-01 - Rating: 5)

My friends and I had a wonderful dinner at Aria! Mark was our host and he was so much fun. He really made our experience one to remember and the food was amazing! I have been visiting this spot for years and I truly enjoy the consistency and atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back.

  • Review 70 (2023-11-12 - Rating: 5)

We’ve dined at Aria many times over the years. Had a disappointing service related experience during the pandemic and took a break from Aria for a bit. We decided it was time to revisit this weekend and so glad we did. The food was excellent. And Mark, the host, was lovely and attentive. He made great recommendations and our experience was top notch. Octopus salad, lamb shank - can’t go wrong. Thanks Mark and Aria staff!

  • Review 71 (2024-01-24 - Rating: 5)

One of my favorite spots in the neighborhood- the food is delicious (well priced), the atmosphere lovely, but what makes it stand out is the excellent service. I’ve been here a handful of times with my friends and I’ll keep coming back. Very sweet people.

  • Review 72 (2024-03-09 - Rating: 5)

This has quickly become a favorite spot for my girlfriend and I in the 2 years I have lived in NYC. The first time we visited, we leaned on Mark for recommendations on specials, favorites, pastas, etc. - every single one was an A+. Now we get to bring friends and family and give them those same recommendations, with each raving about the taste, the quality, the service, and the PRICE. While every other restaurant in NYC has drastically raised prices to the point of no return, Aria offers incredible pastas like Bolognese for $18 and the best Octopus salad I have ever had for $16. I will keep going back over and over, and am excited to continue to introduce our friends to this gem.

  • Review 73 (2024-03-25 - Rating: 5)

I recently celebrated my birthday dinner at Aria with about 25 people and had an amazing experience. Mark and his team provided great food and hospitality, making my night truly special. I highly recommend Aria to anyone who wants to have a great time. Thank you, Aria, for making my birthday unforgettable!

  • Review 74 (2019-07-25 - Rating: 5)

Delicious! Fresh pastas, great Boar ragout, gnocchi with black truffle outstanding! Also have to credit the Etna Bianco as an excellent white wine from Sicily!

  • Review 75 (2024-02-01 - Rating: 5)

Hell’s Kitchen haunt with a strong list of wine bottles and a cozy vibe. My GF and I come here regularly for a nice dinner and to try a new glass or a cocktail. The staff is attentive and kind, and the brick + wood interior and music keeps the energy moving. Definitely recommend stopping in for a drink or dinner.

  • Review 76 (2023-12-03 - Rating: 5)

The atmosphere and service at Aria were fantastic. Mark was our server and I cannot boast about him enough. He treated us well and steered us in the right direction in terms of food. Take his recommendation on the octopus salad - it was the best thing we ate!

  • Review 77 (2023-12-09 - Rating: 5)

What a special place! When there are so many places to go, it’s nice to feel that you are an honored guest, rather than just another customer , that’s how we felt at Aria! Additionally, the food is excellent… we chose the specials… the octopus salad and lamb … top notch! Thanks for a great evening!

Aria Hell’s Kitchen is SUCH a cute spot. Perfect place to go before you see a show! The service was impeccable (shout out to Mark who took care of us), the wine list was super extensive and we got an amazing bottle of Lambrusco, and the food was delish! Will def be making this my go-to pre-show dinner spot.

  • Review 82 (2023-06-25 - Rating: 5)

The best restaurant in Hells Kitchen in my opinion! The staff here is incredibly friendly and the decor and atmosphere is just absolutely stunning. The food is phenomenal and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad dish here at all. And don’t get me started about the drink options, there is an amazing wine selection!!! Never a bad experience here and I will be coming here forever!!

  • Review 84 (2023-05-21 - Rating: 5)

We had Sarah as our waitress and she was absolutely incredible. She recommended an amazing wine which was just the start. The food is made fresh in house and she guided us to the best dishes, one being the lobster risotto special. We have quickly become regulars here because of the food and the service. 10 out of 10!!

  • Review 85 (2023-12-20 - Rating: 5)

My favorite place where not only to go to eat, but also to relax my soul and body. Food is amazing, serving is perfect, staff are great, atmosphere is super cozy and friendly … highly highly recommended !! I tried to find something that I don’t really like in their menu- it’s impossible. Mark is the best … I brought my daughter today with me for a dinner and she fell in love with that place also. Thank you for everything you do and keep doing it 100% this way

Food was fantastic and came out all in very timely manner. Service was great and our waitress was so sweet! This places is certainly a favorite go-to of mine because I know I will always get the same well rounded quality experience each time.

If you want a group dinner spot before a broadway show then consider Aria. Service is there to take care if you and you can have a quick meal or take your time.Won’t be best Italian meal you have, but at this price point and service it will be a good time before a show.Octopus salad, and the prosciutto were the two standouts of our meals. Orecchiette needed more Italian sausage (barely any in mine) and ask for Parmesan cheese to add flavor to it.

  • Review 97 (2024-03-03 - Rating: 5)

I’ve always enjoyed Aria. The service, food, and ambience is great. For a NYC restaurant their prices are fantastic. You truly can have a great meal here for under $50 a person.

  • Review 98 (2022-11-10 - Rating: 4)

Loved the vibe of the place with the sidewalk seating and the wine selection. Was a bit disappointed in finding them as a gluten free restaurant but then not having that labeled on the menu. But the food we had was delicious, risotto and gnocchi. Definitely recommend for a nice quiet dinner.

  • Review 99 (2024-10-09 - Rating: 5)

It was our last night in New York and we decided to return to Arias as we had a nice evening there on our first night sitting at the bar. With Mark knowing this, he made our night special. He is a gracious host, paying attention to all of his guests. It was as though one went home for dinner. We ordered the lamb shank with risotto after the order, he discovered that he was out of the lamb so he went to the restaurant across the street to see if they had any which they did so we ended up with a delicious meal. He certainly goes out of his way and makes everyone feel welcomed. When we return to NYC for our next visit, we will be returning customers.

  • Review 102 (2024-06-21 - Rating: 5)

Loveliest experience we’ve had at a restaurant since I can’t remember when! The food was absolutely delish, and the service was beyond impeccable!! All the staff was SO attentive, including the manager (owner?), who went to great lengths to make sure we were comfortable, happy, and taken care of. He went to great lengths to check in on us (and the rest of the guests!) regularly, and even made us little espresso martinis as a special treat. The whole experience was SO good, that Aria’s will be on our agenda every single time we visit the fair city of New York. We visit at least once a year and will never miss an opportunity to return to Aria’s…and to tell our friends to dine there, as well!! THANK YOU for such a lovely meal and experience. We are so grateful. P.S. My cocktail, a Rob Roy, was YUUUUUUUMMY!!!

The place is pretty small, and it wasnt too crowded around dinner time. The wine was great, cheese was yummy, and the mushroom risotto was delicious! I have to say its one of the best risotto dishes I have had in a long time.

  • Review 132 (2022-01-09 - Rating: 5)

I decided to have dinner on December 31 at this restaurant after having toured like 4 restaurants in the city. It was a spectacular dinner, I was alone and they made me feel like family. It is one of those places that you should not miss if you go to ny. Very local people, nice people and better servers cannot be.

  • Review 133 (2023-07-12 - Rating: 5)

We came in for an espresso martini on a whim and it was the best I’ve ever had in NYC! Oddly enough, a handful of broadway actors filled the place for dinner. A win all around. Thank you Sara!

I love this restaurant! I’ve been twice, and the ambience, service and food has been exceptional both times. The wait staff is very friendly and passionate about the food and drink of the restaurant, you can’t help but try their recommendations. And they have not led me wrong! The kitchen is fast and efficient, the bar pours fabulous drinks, and Mark is wonderful! HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you are in the area or need a pre/post Broadway meal.

  • Review 135 (2021-09-19 - Rating: 5)

One of the best places to grab a delicious bite to eat at a reasonable price in Hell’s Kitchen. Great wine, great specials, OUTSTANDING customer service. Been going, will keep going, it’s a favorite spot.

  • Review 139 (2023-12-04 - Rating: 5)

Service was great, Mark was excellent!

  • Review 140 (2019-05-21 - Rating: 4)

Great food. Bloody Mary doesnt have horseradish in it, which is how I like it. Got the grilled eggplant with goat cheese (savory) and the porchini crostini with fig and caramelized onions (sweet & savory) for starters. Finished with grilled octopus salad and roasted potatoes as main. The service is a little relaxed so be patient. A little pricey for what you get, but could be worth it depending on your mood.

  • Review 141 (2017-10-31 - Rating: 4)

Staff was amazing. Had the tuna tartar, sardines, mussels, and buratta for appetizers. All great ESPECIALLY the tuna tartar and mussels. We all order a pasta as our mains. Collectively we all liked our pastas but agreed the portion size was too small.Over all we LOVED Aria and can’t wait to come back.

  • Review 146 (2022-02-05 - Rating: 4)

Went out for a late dinner after our broadway show. They seated us quickly after checking vaccination card. The place has a very cute decor and the staff is very friendly. I had a glass of montepulciano wine. The wine was really good. I wanted to try another glass of a different wine but the staff was busy so I didn’t get to it.We order the shrimp rigatoni, penne pesto and lamb chops. The shrimp rigatoni was very good but my favorite was penne pesto. The lamb chops were somewhat hard to eat and a little less flavorful than our preference. We ended the meal with some tiramisu and cheescake. Both were phenomenal!

  • Review 148 (2019-09-29 - Rating: 5)

Aria is my midtown west choice of go to place! Yes, I used to live on the west side , just around the corner and I would frequently visit here. The food is to die for . No , not kidding , I am a big fan of tapas and small dishes which is exactly what they serve here . Mesmerizing presentation and delicious food , you will be delighted! The menu is consistent and my favorites are the lamb chops, the shrimp and the boar meat ragu with pasta or polenta . Either way, you wont go wrong . The service is pleasant and attentive , my glass is never left empty. Oh , did I mentioned the drinks and the wines ?Variety and good prices , stop here and enjoy the atmosphere , food and service!A tourist , or a local , Aria has your back ! Anyway, a resident of more than 10 years , I have my favorite spots in town and this is one of them. Thanks Aria !

Recommend this restaurant so highly. Food, service and atmosphere were superb. Waiters were nothing short of amazing, super friendly and accommodating. Being a tourist from overseas, food in NYC can be so expensive (and not great quality), but Aria puts these high end places to shame!! So impressed with Aria and will absolutely return when I’m back in the US!

OMG...Love at first taste!Soooo...I had walked past this cute little Italian restaurant, Aria, the last time I was in New York, which was only 2 weeks ago. The owner was outside and I told him that I would definitely try his restaurant the next time I was in town.Being a man of my word, I made it a point to take a taxi here tonight. Starting off with the minestrone and I already know this is an outstanding restaurant! More to follow after I have my Branzino!Mangia!Quick update...OMG!!!Melt in your mouth and amazing flavor, full filet Branzino for only $28.00 in NYC! PINCH ME! This is truly one of the best Brazinos entrees that I have had at a price is too low for NYC!The owner just told me that their mission is to always provide a dinner for two including an appetizer, bottle of wine and their 2 entrees for $150.00! That is very hard to beat in New York!

  • Review 152 (2024-07-03 - Rating: 5)

We visited this restaurant yesterday night, and it was honestly an amazing experience. The service was great, food was delicious, prices are reasonable, and atmosphere is fantastic. Wine suggestions were on point. Staff were polite, kind and charming. My husband, my kids and myself really enjoyed everything. I would strongly recommend you to check it out. It was an oasis from the chaos in NY.

Great place for lunch I go there almost every week. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Good wines and large choice of tasty pasta dishes. There are always lots of special to choose from too.

  • Review 154 (2019-08-05 - Rating: 5)

Good food. Had the grilled octopus salad, truffle gnocchi, pasta. Recommend the truffle gnocchi, very rich, better to share amongst people at your table.

  • Review 155 (2019-09-08 - Rating: 4)

Very tasty menu with a plethora of options and combinations. It reminds me of tapas, except with Italian food. The one setback here is space; everything feels very cramped, and I couldn’t even get up and greet my friend who joined me because I was trapped between two very close tables. Nonetheless, I’d sacrifice space for a great meal, and I’ll be eager to return!

  • Review 156 (2022-07-20 - Rating: 5)

The restaurant is super good located and the food is excellent! The price for the pasta is incredible for the quality and NY city. Moreover, the waitresses and the owner itself where super friendly and always paying attention to us. Very recommended!

  • Review 170 (2024-07-15 - Rating: 4)

Decent cocktails and solid plates of food are available here for decent prices. As a bonus, unlike a typical wine bar, the menu has actual food and not merely piles of nuts and cheese. That said, if my experience was indicative of a typical July day, you should probably avoid this restaurant on a very hot night, as the air conditioner wasnt strong and sweating while eating and drinking wasnt particularly fun. It was bad enough that my group felt much cooler once we left and went outside.

  • Review 171 (2015-04-26 - Rating: 5)

My go-to place in my neighborhood if I ever hang out in the area. I hate midtown west as it usually gets too crowded with the tourists, but if I ever happen to meet peeps in my hood, Xia Xia is the best place to chill and have some decent South African wine. It never gets too crowded, unlike other mediocre restaurants/bars in Manhattan. I wouldnt expect the best quality service because you are here to enjoy the wine, ambience, and small talks...And the escape from the crowd in Hells Kitchen. Its the best place to talk with your friends for hours with wine on any night of the week.
