Bar Vivant is a great neighborhood wine bar! This will absolutely become one of my new favorite spots. Small, but cozy and very inviting. The service was so friendly. Their wine list showcased a strong variety of smaller wineries from Italy, France, Spain and the US. It’s amazing that they are able to maintain such an extensive list of small plates in their space, but the food is definitely up to par. I was very impressed by the bitter salad. Bright, herbaceous, salty and the right amount of bitter. I found myself wanting to replicate it at home. All in all, I was highly impressed with Bar Vivant. Absolutely worth it. If you’re in the neighborhood, try to pop in for a glass or two and some light bites but don’t be surprised if you have to wait. Saturday night about a week after it had opened and the tables were full up. The neighborhood is already buzzing about Bar Vivant!

I stopped by Bar Vivant for a solo dinner and was immediately charmed by the cozy, intimate atmosphere tucked away on the street. I opted for the steak frites, and it exceeded my expectations—perfectly cooked and far more generous in portion than I anticipated, given their focus on small plates. The rosé I paired it with was crisp and refreshing. The silky crème brûlée was a perfect sweet finish.Great spot for a casual evening of small plates and wine!

Delicious, nice selection of wines and wonderful , friendly service. However, there isn’t a price range of wines and they are a but expensive ($18).

Amazing place ! I have been been going to their East Harlem location Alison which I love but Bar Vivant is DEFINITELY ALIVE!
