Small wine bar with a cozy feel. Great deals during happy hour and reasonable prices outside of it too. It was pretty hot inside with the small space, but the staff helped mitigate that by opening doors to let cool air in where possible. Great spot in the East Village!

  • Review 2 (2023-01-11 - Rating: 5)

This place is a perfect date spot or drink with a friend vibe. Great lighting. Cute seating options either at tables or at the bar.Great happy hour till 8!The wine list is 10/10. Food list is fine. Not super creative but a some good options for little snacks to accompany the drinks. Both dishes we ordered were yummy! The best part was the service. They were clearly understaffed that night (it happens!). But the one woman that was working there was killing it. Most efficient, most helpful, nice and fast service. Can’t wait to go back!

  • Review 3 (2021-11-10 - Rating: 5)

Cute little wine bar with great happy hour deals, wine was delicious. Food portions are small but expensive, so would not recommend dining here. But small bites are tasty.

  • Review 4 (2021-05-06 - Rating: 5)

Cute date spot w a nice happy hour (although the happy hour wine offerings arent organic / sustainable, but they have those options on the regular menu). Nice cheese & charcuterie board options in increments of 2/4/6. Also all the cute dogs walk down this street so thats free entertainment.

  • Review 5 (2024-10-06 - Rating: 5)

This is one of the most convenient happy hour I found in NYC...till 8pm,30 bucks per wine bottle, and the wine is not bad at all

  • Review 6 (2024-04-17 - Rating: 5)

I want to gatekeep this place so badly but Ill share! We stopped by right at opening at 4pm on a Saturday and had no problem getting a table, but they were packed by 6pm so get here early. They have Happy Hour until 8pm with great deals, especially the $5 deviled egg dish ($9 outside of HH)! The Happy Hour Chardonnay was absolutely delicious. As for food, every single item was amazing. The risotto ($14) and meatballs ($14) were both hearty and filling, despite being categorized as small plates. Theres a great variety of charcuterie options ($13 for 2, $22 for 4, $29 for 6) and the helpings are generous. Service was quick and attentive. I will definitely be back!

  • Review 7 (2024-09-19 - Rating: 5)

Awesome little venue.... hidden gem. Wine list is full of discoveries and not your normal everyday wine shop bottles. Some great choices and very reasonably priced. Best anchovies, tepenade and oil plus awesome kimchi grilled cheese on the best bread in the world. No kidding. Baked by a local Michelin star Lebanese chef it makes the sandwich. Great for a date night or group of friends and the staff are all really friendly too... top pick

  • Review 8 (2023-12-06 - Rating: 5)

Intimate and cozy interior that feels like a wine bar from the 00s (in the best possible way). The wine list is impressive and fairly priced. My GF and I came here for a drink before dinner but will have to come back to try eating here as well.

  • Review 9 (2023-07-14 - Rating: 5)

Loved this bustling little wine bar. We arrived a little before 6pm and we’re able to sit right away. They have an excellent happy hour ($8 glass of wine!?) and the service was SO fast and friendly- even at the end of our stay when it got really packed. It’s definitely noisy from all the patrons talking close to eachother due to the size, so if you need quiet or don’t like straining to hear, I would sit outside or try another place. But if you don’t mind, this is a fabulous spot. We will return!

  • Review 10 (2024-04-02 - Rating: 5)

Amazing happy hour. great wine. super cool interior. really nice on a summer day and not too busy. would recommend.

  • Review 11 (2024-04-29 - Rating: 4)

The best night!! We had incredible service, drinks and food from our server Bobby. we went during happy hour (every day until 8pm) had a bottle of wine and charcuterie board and it was incredible. The atmosphere is lovely and an all round great night, it was our last night in NYC and the waiter gave us a free drink to celebrate 🥹 Will definitely be coming back

  • Review 12 (2023-06-09 - Rating: 5)

A warm, welcoming vibe for a date or catching up with friends here inside and outside. We sat at the bar, where there was attentive, friendly service. It feels like a neighborhood bar. There is a happy hour menu, and we didnt have bites this time. When it was time to leave the restaurant was filled up with couples and friends alike. Enjoy the food, wine and atmosphere!

  • Review 13 (2022-12-12 - Rating: 5)

Enjoyable wine bar with a very nice selection of wines and small (but tasty) bites that go well with the wines.Atmosphere is fun and staff nice and diligent. Very reasonable pricing given the quality of wines.Highly recommended to spend some good time

  • Review 14 (2024-06-04 - Rating: 5)

Wine flights are $18 on Monday! I had the white wine flight, all were very delicious, and really good pours! The service was amazing, very attentive and friendly. Super cute and cozy spot :)

  • Review 15 (2023-09-18 - Rating: 5)

Best wine bar in NYC, with excellent happy hour selection and delicious snacks. Patio is in the middle of a block on a quiet street with speedbumps, so it’s a nice chill place for people&doggo watching.

  • Review 16 (2021-06-03 - Rating: 5)

One of my favorite places in NYC. Like it so much we hosted our little engagement party here. Fun and casual with a great happy hour, a fantastic choice of wines and cheese. The cheeses are paired with home made accompaniments. Its the friendly neighborhood wine bar that everyone should have around the corner from their home.Value for money, great music, fun atmosphere.. if you cant tell I love this bar. Its great for couples and small groups. Try the Spritz when the sun is out.

  • Review 17 (2024-12-01 - Rating: 5)

What a wonderful little wine bar! The vibe is cozy yet relaxed. It never felt crowded or overly busy. Coming here on a Saturday night, I wasn’t expecting a happy hour. They have select options that are bolded on the menu that fall under the options for HH pricing. For the 3 of us, we paid about $25 each for sharing two bottles of wine and a cheese board. One of my friends had a flatbread for dinner included in that price. All delicious and the wines were great!

  • Review 18 (2017-10-11 - Rating: 4)

Just stopped in here for drinks so I cant give a well rounded review about the entire place, but, what I did experience was great! The happy hour specials were really good (we got 2 bottles of wine for $44) and the selection was pretty good! There were also a decent amount of small dishes for happy hour that all sounded great. The space was intimate in that it was dark and cozy, but still pretty crowded with people in and out the entire time that we were there!Unfortunately, there was only one bartender/waiter (as in one person doing everything), and my two friends who arrived before me were a little disappointed that they felt rushed when ordering and wanted to wait for me to arrive, but the waiter/bartender said he had to get to all of the tables, which should not have been our issue to deal with. Maybe they were short-staffed when we went or maybe thats how it always is, but thats not the best note to start off on!Otherwise, the service was good after that and Id definitely come back again!

  • Review 19 (2020-10-25 - Rating: 5)

Excellent wine bar. Friendly & knowledgeable staff. Very pleasant outdoor setting on tree-lined street. Cant beat the happy hour value at $25 for a gorgeous bottle of Blanc de Blancs bubbly. Well considered wine menu offering an attractive range. Really enjoyed the charcuterie board as well as the meatballs, pigs in a blanket & sliders. Highly recommend.

  • Review 20 (2023-06-02 - Rating: 5)

Happy hour is a cheat code. Alphabet Citys best kept secret. $30 for a bottle of wine and $8 a glass?!!? INFLATION BUSTER ALERT!!!I personally love a chilled red wine, but in the past when I have proposed it in a group of people, they look at me like I am Ghidorah. That’s the monster that gives Godzilla PROBLEMS for you nerds that don’t know.I have since stopped suggesting a chilled red, letting my social anxiety best me yet again.I came here with a newer friend, one of those friends that you feel you will really vibe with, but it is a bit too early to tell as some people lowkey be hella weird. When we were deciding what bottle to split, she looked at me across the 24x24 cherry wood table and asked if I like a chilled red. I felt a lifelong friendship budding right before my dark brown eyes.THANK YOU BIBIS! ALPHABET CITY STAND UP!

  • Review 21 (2020-01-22 - Rating: 5)

Love this place. The owner and the staff are so nice and welcoming. Happy hour is a great deal and their food is reasonable and tasty. It can get crowded, so get there early to get a table or a seat at the bar. Fun crowd. Lively but not too loud.

  • Review 22 (2021-04-19 - Rating: 5)

A lovely gem of a wine bar in Alphabet City thats perfect for happy hour with friends or date night. Service is excellent as are the food (go for the cheese plate!) and, of course, the wine. If its a warm afternoon/evening, make sure to try the Bibi Spritz.

  • Review 23 (2015-12-02 - Rating: 5)

This place is a hidden gem!The bartender was super sweet, and reminded us that Happy Hour would be over in a minute as soon as we sat down. We promptly ordered 2 glasses of the $6 wine on special (which was pretty darn good for $6), and enjoyed a complimentary bar bite (thanks to checking in via Yelp) - a perfectly crusty brushette with coriander seeds and prosciutto. We had dinner plans elsewhere, or else would have ordered much more food (the cheese and charcuterie plates looked awesome).

  • Review 24 (2021-03-02 - Rating: 5)

Fab little wine bar. Cozy with attentive and very nice staff. Great place for a date or low-key time with friends. They also have very yummy nibbles and a good happy hour. Highly recommend!

  • Review 25 (2019-04-19 - Rating: 5)

Super charming tiny little place with a great wine menu, lovely cheese and charcuterie selections, and a very friendly staff. I loved the bubbly I selected, and our server (Irish accented woman, cannot remember her name...) was very helpful and kind. Attentive service without crowding us.

  • Review 26 (2020-08-30 - Rating: 5)

This place is the best place in the East Village. Service is incredible, literally couldnt be better. Wine is great, cheese is great, the other food is great. Its all insanely awesome. Beautiful set up, beautiful people. Shout out to the always delightful K and to the wonderful B. I hope my excessive use of adjectives has turned you off so that we can keep the place to ourselves.

  • Review 27 (2016-07-03 - Rating: 5)

Love this place. Happy hour wine bottle specials. Happy hour food bar bites. Delicious Mac and cheese and pigs in blankets. Really cute mini potato skins. Very friendly and attentive bartenders.

  • Review 28 (2021-09-06 - Rating: 4)

Solid choice. Quiet street attracts nicely attired patronage. Nicely decorated bar. Good friendly service. Reasonable prices and quality wines on offer. A definite return visit.

  • Review 29 (2023-12-09 - Rating: 4)

This place is on the smaller side so it’s better for just 2-3 people versus a large group! It also gets really busy. I went on a weekday night for happy hour & our group of 4 had to wait a while for a table. The $8 glass of wine was good! Really enjoyed the patata bravas and felt it was a great portion size. A friend got the chorizo and it was also a great size & fun that it came on fire.

  • Review 30 (2022-04-13 - Rating: 5)

Fantastic experience here tonight. Kiera, our waiter/bartender, took very good care of us along with everyone else basically on her own. Cannot recommend the service, wine list, and food options enough!

  • Review 32 (2022-06-12 - Rating: 5)

Headed into Bibi at a time unknown this week and was greeted by bartender Lou. A man of many talents and good looks (part time actor?), he suggested I step out of my comfort zone and order a rosè — a logical next step to my unwavering Rieslings and Chardonnays orders. Staring into that cherubic face that I suspect reads deceitfully older than he looks, how could I say no!? One glass turned to three and then to four before I remembered I had a life-or-death interview in the morning about the fate of a misunderstood high schooler/graffiti artist whose proposed punishment far outweighed the trivial “crime”. (Who among us has not tagged the trees outside our schools with mildly offensive sayings? Not I) I headed home after getting one of Lou’s signature winks as I walked out the bar. Excellent wine, excellent charcuterie, excellent service. 20 stars. ;)

  • Review 37 (2023-04-18 - Rating: 5)

Really great happy hour option for the lower east side! $8 glasses of wine until 8pm. They also have cute cheese boards and apps- everything is fairly priced.

  • Review 38 (2022-06-18 - Rating: 5)

Stopped by for afternoon wine. We got the happy hour bubbles and 2 cheeses. After some advice from the bartender changed our cheese choice (for the better) we really enjoyed both. It was pretty busy, but there was enough space. A great place to stop and well recommended. Definitely recommend the cheeses.

Best value wine bar with happy hour in East Village✅ Located between Avenue A and B on 4th Street, a little away from the hustle and bustle of East Village.✅Happy hour until 8pm every day is a great deal. There are nine types of wine: bubble, white, red, and rosé. Good selection too. Glass $8, bottle $28. Beer is $5 a can.✅Theres not a lot of food on the menu, but its enough for a light snack. I recommend the Cheese & Charcuterie plate (I ordered 4 types this time)✅The staffs service is also good.✅The customer base is mostly young people, so this is a place where you can casually go for a drink.✅Its a small shop, but it would be nice if the inside was more fancy. As of November 2021
