    Went on a Sunday for early brunch. The food was phenomenal. Burger was messy and great - the raw onions could have been excluded. My cousin said the waffle was maybe the best she has ever had. A good outside crunch w a very soft interior.The latte was very frothy and full of flavor. The mimosa w fresh squeezed orange juice was superior. I would DEF come back.

    Very chic little restaurant! Got the Bocado burger, which was as huge as it was delicious. Great vibes - the little lights everywhere added a whimsical flare to our meal. Avocado on the burger was perfectly ripe, and the fries were delicious as well.

    We loved sitting outside here, but the inside was clean and beautiful too! Our meal was excellent - we had great burgers cooked perfectly and each with special requests, the Asian Chicken Salad was delicious and all the Sunday brunch items were excellent.Great service and highly recommend for brunch or any meal. And the free mimosas made brunch even better!

    Picked this spot for a quick drink before my movie and decided to return for dinner later afterwards. The staff was so friendly and attentive, the decor was very cute and homey. The wine selection was interesting, the Bordeaux stole my taste buds. The food was excellent with perfect portions for dine in and take home additional. I will definitely be returning to this unassuming gem 💎

    Service was stellar.Clean bathrooms.We had a reservation for a large party we were seated and served quickly.Everyone enjoyed their meal and the lunch prefix really hit the spot. Truffle feta fries were a hit as well as the calamari. Fresh ingredients used for veggie burgers. We blindly chose this restaurant because of proximity to MET. I will definitely return and recommend others.

    Good service. The girl who served us was really friendly as was the hostess. The food was good and tasty. However, I feel like their presentation could have been better. The plates are quite large and heavy. Also, the outside doesnt do so well in the rain...a bit of leakage. The bathrooms have music. Lol. That was cool.

    Came here for a quick bite after my doctor appointment during lunch and it was great. I dont normally write reviews especially for lunch but the chicken Alfredo was so fresh and delicious. I also had a glass of white sangria and the prosciutto and fig Flatbread. Big portion nut also great. Ill come back for the dinner menu.Service was soild and everyone had a smile.

    This place is great! Food is awesome. We had the octopus app which has a depth of flavor. Lamb burger is great too.Also shout-out to our server Donna! She was super friendly and efficient (very important when we have a 2-year old with us). One thing that really impressed me is that when she asked if we would like the kid menu ice cream for our baby, she lowered her voice and almost whispered in my ear:D We did end up getting the ice cream but I appreciate the courtesy!

    Bocado Cafe offers an excellent array of coffees, teas, and alcoholic drinks. The Cremini Mushroom flatbread was alright, not quite the best. The Bacon & Egg flatbread pizza, on the other hand, was an absolute fantastic dish! The bacon was sliced generously, and the egg + hollandaise sauce was amazing as a combination. Finally, for dessert we had the salted caramel chocolate souffle which was delicious, albeit incredibly sweet.The ambiance was slightly claustrophobic and due to the space, indoor dining was quite loud during lunch hours. Staff were kind and attentive.

    Before our race, my friends and I met here to eat. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. The atmosphere was beautiful and the lights all around the bar area made for a picturesque scene out of a movie. Whenever a plate would come out of the kitchen I noticed that each meal was beautifully presented. Probably one of the best parts was the free re-fills as we wanted to hydrate before the race. It’s the small acts of kindness and artistic details that always brings me back to a restaurant. We will be back.

    I came here today with a two of my girlies and the food was amazing. The wait for the food was worth it, but it definitely took a lot longer than expected.I ordered the steak Benedict, my two friends ordered the bocado burgers. Their home fries were delicious and well seasoned/cooked. The steak was cooked a little more tougher than medium rare but it was still yummy nonetheless. The poached eggs on my Benedict were a bit over cooked but I didn’t mind it too much. I drenched it all in Tabasco hot sauce anyways so it all just tasted amazing and I was starving.Their Bellinis are tasty and it was nice that they did a complimentary drink (tea, coffee, mimosa, Bellini) with the purchase of an entree.Their menu is more of a lunchy than breakfast vibes but they have a large variety of egg dishes and multiple burgers/sandwich options and pasta (!) to order from. We were also able to pay with 3 separate cards, which is a major plus for large groups!⭐️Overall: 8.1 ⭐️Great family friendly environment with good music as well!

    Today we ordered a dinner set, mussels, and steak and Frites. The bread was average. The mussels had good flavor, but a bit too salty. In addition, the mussels are too tiny, see photo 5. The dinner set we choose Caesar salad, Bocado burger, and Tiramisu. Everything was pretty good. The salad dressing was very nice and not overpowering. The burger patty was thick and juicy, and they were very generous with the avocado slices and cheese. The steak and frites were very good. The steak was well seasoned and very tender. The frites were nice crispy and thick. I was able to taste the slightly sweetness of the potatoes. The roasted carrots were nice, too. Tiramisu was very delicious. Overall, it was a nice meal, but spent more money than I expected.

    Great place for lunch after trip to the Met. Atmosphere was nice and not overwhelming even during a busy lunch time. I had the Asian chicken salad and my daughter the hamburger. Both were very good. Had artichoke hearts and hummus as appetizers. Both were fair and a little bland. Dessert of tiramisu was okay -never had with a thin layer of peach syrup. Steve was friendly and attentive. Would go back again!

    I loved this wine bar! The happy hour specials made my day. I needed nothing more than a $7 glass of wine after my full day of traipsing around the city. The Sauvignon blanc was delightful. The avocado, corn, tomato and arugula appetizer called the Bocado Avocado was amazing. It was a very cozy bar where I could rest my feet and study a little. My waiter (Gustavo?) was very attentive and kind.

    Came here for brunch and ordered the Quesadilla Benedict. the food was okay. Im not sure Im a fan of the Quesadilla variant of the classic. What I loved the most was the complimentary mimosa with brunch! The service was also very nice. I will be coming back to try something else from their brunch menu.

    So I’m always complaining my husband doesn’t take me out so we had an appointment in the area today and we both was like let’s go somewhere to eat and live a little. This place just so happen to be right across the street. So we got seated. Im not sure if we are the type of usuals that come there but ok I guess. When the food came out OMG yalllll it was soooooo gooodddd. I will definitely recommend this place. I’m glad our waitress didn’t have that judgmental type of energy and she was nice. I want to give a big thanks to her she really made my day.

    This is a beautiful restaurant. I sat at the bar and had the full attention of so many wine bottles. I ordered the Baby rocket Arugula salad and it was incredible. The grilled chicken was absolute perfection tender juicy. I also ordered Fried Calamari the appetizer and the meat nestled inside was so delicate and tender that it basically melted in my mouth. Yay! I had to stop myself from inhaling it and asking for more. its a perfect portion, I was full without being stuffed. It seems the staff helps each other out in a manner that is pleasant and kind. Thanks to my server, Phillip. Definitely will come back and recommend to my friends.

    Really loved it here for multiple reasons. First off, and I know this is just a me thing, but my general satisfaction at a restaurant is based on how thirsty I am. I am a thirsty person and require a lot of water.This place comes by and refills your water A LOT. They top it off constantly and if your glass is empty, it wont be empty for long. So I really really liked that. I know some people find it disruptive and annoying. But not me. Fill my water often! This place had 3-4 people dedicated to just refilling water and I am HERE for it!I came here for brunch and kept it simple. Two eggs, sausage, and potatoes.The scrambled eggs were perfect. Theres a very fine line between light and fluffy eggs that arent undercooked. And cook them a half a second too long, and now theyre hard and no good. These eggs were PERFECT. Light and fluffy but not in the undercooked mushy kind of way. These were 100% cooked all the way through but still light. Its hard to do that. This place did it.Then the potatoes: At first glance I was thinking, I wish these were crunchier. But I bit into them and despite their soft, not-even-slightly crunchy texture, they were seasoned so perfectly, that it was amazing.The sausage: Not much to say here, They were links, as opposed to patties which is a personal preference for me and they too were cooked perfectly.And then there was a piece of bread thrown on the plate. It was untoasted and not warm. So immediately I thought, no chance this will be any good. But like the potatoes, I was wrong again! The bread was so fresh and soft with a perfect crunchy crust, that serving it untoasted at room temp was totally acceptable! That was a really good piece of bread!Staff was friendly as well. Im not a drinker but the brunch comes with a free mimosa or bellini or a few other things which helps justify the high price a bit more.Without the drink, $21 for eggs and potatoes is kind of a lot. I mean even with the drink its a lot. But whatever, I enjoyed it. Would not hesitate to come back here.

We were pleasantly surprised with the attentive service, decent prices and generous portions.If you are considering a side order of breakfast sausages, I would recommend sharing. We definitely thought we were only getting a couple links per side order. A beverage was also included in the price of our brunch entree, so the value is definitely there!

    Bocado Cafe is an affordable upscale culinary institution. Perfect for Sunday brunch, especially prices. The food literally melted down into our mouths and they offer you a free first drink - coffee or mimosa. This installation is ergonomically comfortable. We like the incandescent bulbs scattered around the premises. The service has been phenomenal and we shall return.

    Breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Reasonably priced, very clean. You can feel the vibrations from the subway. Hi Lenny of outdoor and indoor seating. We went around 5pm on Wednesday and it wasn’t crowded so we were able to enjoy our lattes and have a chat without any struggle. The lava cake with ice cream was amazing. Staff was friendly.

    The place is very popular in the neighborhood. The food was tasty and the service was nice. Prices are not cheap but the taste and quality of food does worth it. They have outdoor tables and a covered patio as well, which are nice in warm weather.The only negative was a host lady, who was very rude and unfriendly! She does not deserve to work there or in the service industry at all.

    Came here to get out of the rain after a nice walk round central park. Beautiful ambience. The cheesecake was delicious! The only let down was the iced nutella espresso, they didnt let the nutella mix in with the coffee so it was lumpy, and the coffee itself was burned so Id recommend a different drink. I was nervous on how much fruit my French toast would have because there pictures here where the fruits seems skimped, but Everything came out great. Service was great. You get a free beverage with a breakfast meal. Will be coming back!

    Quite good. Good atmosphere, good location. I ended up having the grilled salmon, which was excellent. The wine list looked fairly good. I was a little bit disappointed with dessert, but bread pudding isnt really my thing. That was more for my wife, who really enjoyed it.

    I had a lunch date with my dad and it was a good experience. The staff was attentive, and the place is very clean. We had the bocado burger and it was very good. Right now though they are only serving beers but we had ipa beer and it was good also. Theyre fries are great. I definitely recommend anyone to eat here :)

    I had the scallop appetizer which was absolutely delicious. The sea scalops were large, succulent and nicely seasoned. Almost enough for an entree. My husband had a burger that was cooked perfectly and the fries were to die for. The wait staff and other employees were friendly. Cant wait to go back!

    Everything was delicious! Had a Caesar salad which had great dressing as well as pasta. Staff was quick and friendly and wore masks. Tables were separated enough both for covid and to provide a bit of privacy. Nice shaded area on a side street so not as hectic as sitting on an avenue. Would def go back.

    Had a party of 9 they accomadated us with no problem. We were in for brunch had our drinks and ordered our food. Only took a few minutes for our food to arrive. The food was plentiful and delicious. The waitress was a master of her game. Totally professional and had a great heart. If I am ever back will most definitely dine there again.

    What an amazing experience!!! This place has the whole package: great food, comfy atmosphere and friendly prices. This is now my third time there. They even have nice mimosas and omelettes for brunch.On two occasions I came in with my wife for dinner and I have to say that their wine menu has a truly remarkable selection.The Calamari was crunchy and absolutely delicious as was the skirt steak which was marvelous. My wife got the grilled Hallouni.The service was exceptionally attentive each time we visited.

    Sunday brunch day found this via Open Table and made a reservation for the bar. Arrived on time for the reservation and there were a couple seats at the bar, and cleared out quickly after my arrival so I became the only one. The staff was very polite and attentive. I ordered the French toast along with a glass of wine. French toast didnt need any syrup as the toppings were perfect. The side of bacon helped even out the sweetness.Id come back to try other items on the menu and perhaps another time outside of brunch.

    Its OK... UES thats a step up from being a diner.The food was great and the server was attentive but the drinks are kind of small. Coffee and tea is served in an 8 ounce cup... So an ice coffee will net you even less of a drink. Just ate at case dalsace a week ago and the drink portions were at least double the size. I know Im nitpicking but... If youre making yourself out to be on the higher end of food services... You shouldnt penny pinch on something so inconsequential.

    Bocado Cafe is well situated with ample sidewalk real estate. If youre driving by you cant miss it from the street. So if youre looking for outdoor dining, it will be open and there will likely be space for you. I didnt get to fully observe their covid protocols as we were among the first round of diners to arrive that day. We pretty much had an entire shelter to ourselves. There were heating elements (ceiling-hanging) but they were off center with regard to the tables.As for the food, my companion and I gravitated towards all of the same options (Great minds right?!) We had the Bocado Burger (avocado, applewood-smoked bacon, onions, fontina cheese, arugula and lemon aioli). The burger was great! For dessert we had the White Chocolate Mousse with Mango and Passion Fruit. The dessert is instagram worthy and drew immediate exclamations from patrons at a neighboring table. The dish tasted as good as it looked! We washed everything down with some bellinis and mimosas.I dont think they had a bottomless brunch option but dont let that deter you. This place is perfect for meeting someone from the BX halfway from Brooklyn (lol). If you need a place with tasty food for a nice catch-up with a friend, add this venue to your list.

    Stopped by here for dinner - I’ve always passed by, but have never actually eaten here until now. Overall, had a lovely experience. Our server was pretty friendly, and the outdoor dining ambiance is cozy and quiet - perfect for dining with a friend or coming here for a date.For appetizers, we ordered the truffle fries to start which were pretty good. Not the best truffle fries I’ve ever had but they were definitely flavorful and were generous on the portion size (perfect for splitting).Drinks wise, we ordered one of their cider beers, a Rossini (sparkling wine + strawberries) and a Bellini. I’ve never had a Rossini before but it was a little strange haha, I definitely preferred the Bellini and would recommend that instead.For our meals, we ordered the bolognese and the fusilli primavera. Both were very tasty, the pasta was cooked well for both. Sometimes primavera can be on the blander side but this one had a lot of flavors, a little salty maybe because of the capers, but still very enjoyable.Would recommend if you’re looking for a causal night out for dinner!
